I ordered a drink that should have been a winning sips cup and I didn’t get one I got a normal cup. My partner who was with me got the exact same thing and got a winning sips cup!

The worst McDonald’s I’ve been to. Staff looked put out if you ask for anything. Ordered toast and it was completely dry, obviously old. Coffee was water mixed with some milk. Terrible atmosphere, terrible food.

This place is a shambles! I’ve given this place three chances to get an order correct and not once has it been. First order I received someone else’s order, second order I received a chicken sandwich with ketchup and cheese (I mean seriously, that’s criminal in itself) and tonight they sent my order without my chicken sandwich entirely!

The food was dry wasn't great ,mostly nicely decorated but some of the furniture has seen better days ,toilets are nice and clean , stall on the good just don't seem enthusiastic.

This branch is dirty, The tables are not clean, and you have to wipe your feet on the way out. It's probably the worst branch I have visited ever.

Can't go wrong with a McDonalds. Good food, served fresh and from a good team that seems proud of their restaurant 😁

Always a dependable McDonald's for you burger needs. Getting a little tired now, but I suspect you aren't going for the ambience. Service is fast as you would expect from them.

Been coming here for a number of years, and today the manager has decided “this branch no longer honour student offers” such as the free mini mc flurry when bought with a meal. This is not a decision individual restaurants can make. This is dodgy leadership at a dodgy McDonalds branch. Will not return.

Whilst this was a drive-thru visit, the customers in front were awful, rude to the staff, throwing litter, not moving, being argumentative. Felt sorry for the McDonald's employees. The food was cold and wouldn't recommend visiting here.

Came to eat here after Birthday Party, food and drink up to standard. Great seating areas eg couches. But the best part of my trip here was the service I received from a worker. I went up with my friend, just to try see if I could get anything for my birthday. Originally told no, yet a worker then brought me up and told me I could order anything for the menu for free(chose McNugget Share box). Highly recommended

Run out of source for fajita wraps and when I ordered my vegan plant burger it took 20 minutes and they are still making people park outside and they're excuse was that somebody was on a break. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to and give them. There are 2600 of them in the UK. That's a pretty bad statistic avoid at all costs

Favourite food after My Native Foods. Our first choice is Mc Donald’s when travelling and for kids always first choice anywhere.

Food eatable but luke warm 8.30am Area nice and clean. Not busy atall. Only thing to really let this place down was a member of staff behind the counter. Constantly yawning into her hand, touching ears, hair and face. Working in catering myself-this is a definite 'No No' . Maybe a bit of retraining required??

I dislike having to use the machines to order food but once ordered the food was prepared very quickly. The standard of food is very consistent throughout the world and can be relied upon

Lovely staff, always very helpful. The food, on the other hand, is unfortunately not usually on the higher end of the McDonald's food quality spectrum.

A stop over in ST Albans with my boys to do some shopping and meet some friends, so we go to the McDonald and was very easy to park and access the restaurant we already ordered via the app to make it easier for us. The place was very niece and tidy different from the other McDonald I been was more cosy with lots of space and sofa everything was clean and comfortable all around. I will go again when I will be back.

What a terrible store. To say the management is weak is an understatement. Due to having to wait 28 minutes for my food I got to see the inner workings of a dysfunctional team at work. Staff spent most of the time arguing, flirting and joking about parking people from the drive through. This is a failing franchise. Drive to London Colney it will be quicker.

It’s a McDonald’s - the food is what you expect. No better, no worse. They did forget my melon bag, but I won’t lose too much sleep over that. We got food to go, but this McDonald’s has leather sofas! So as McDonalds go, this one has a pretty good atmosphere.

I went with my brother to this McDonald’s twice, and both times they missed one big item! The first time I ordered a burger, which they gave back as a whole new meal, but the second time, I had only gotten my missing item after 20 minutes. Quite unreliable service but the food is quite reliable and tasty

Love it all in Mc Donalds. But why doesn't the ice-cream machine get fixed in a respectable amount of time? I get the machine can have issues but there are other machines/gadgets/devices that can also be a problem in there too. I guess it less of a priority 🥲

I'm not sure how this place manages to miss something from my ubereats order almost every single time. Today was the fries, which has once again left me feeling unsatisfied. Surely someone is in charge of checking this stuff before it goes out? The staff there are generally friendly and helpful when I go there in person.

I'd rate 11/10 - bit underwhelming, but would use again.

Took an age for our order to be ready and when it was it transpired that we'd been forgotten about. We chose a table to sit at and I got our food out of the bag. There were several items missing which meant a return to the counter to request them. The one saving grace was the classical music playing on the sound system; although it was quite hard to hear over the raised voices and general racket!

Ordered through their own app for pick up. I had to wait a lot to find a person that would know what to do with the code given by their app. And only after staying twice in a long queue, managed to get someone put the code in for the online and paid order processed already through their system. They only started to prepare after they got the code and guess what? when it finally said it's ready for colection, it wasn't really ready and the staff members were joking around and relaxed and talking badly about their customers with remarks like 'what do they want?' when orders were showing as ready for collection. Then a person (that should never work in customer service sorted out my order), with 40 mcnuggets with 8 garlic dips and she only handed out 5. And I showed her the order with 8 dips and she said she can only give 5 and only after another colleague said she should give the order in full she actually THREW the dips in the bag! I wanted to empty the bag in her head in that moment, but decided to be zen! Oh my, these guys should get some serious training on how to treat and speak with people in general, not to mention with customers. Awful experience, with the app, with the branch and staff! Avoid if you have other options. Other times, when I ordered delivery, the 20 mcnuggets share box had less nuggets but didn't bother to mention. Avoid!

Worst MacDs in St Albans for delivery ordered, my drinks are always missing. Chips are barely fully. Lettuce is outside the burger. It would seem the staff completely despise their job.

Love McDonalds. But here… Always dirty table, always! Inside and outside! Always mess in toilets. Staff is kind but I always wait up to 10 min even just fir coke and french fries. Everything is prepared with hands without any gloves (((( they put cheese in your cheeseburger just with naked hands. Why???? Please I want you to become better! Clean properly and when it is needed! 2 order points not working, half the menu unavailable, asked what was wrong and reported the machine issues to be told they knew about them, yet no signs or notices. Staff decided to antagonise over this, as opposed to doing anything constructive to rectify.

We drove through but they forgot the kid's cheesburger in the Happy Meal! We cut some of ours to share as I was too tired to go back there. They did forget things sometimes but really the burger? Please be more careful next time!

Literally the worst McDonald's, especially for delivery. Every time our order is wrong. Every single time. We usually get a partial refund from Uber but we shouldn't have to claim every time. Today was a free apple pie that says discard at 16:55. Tell me why I got it at 17:30. They gave me 3/4 of an iced coffee, no lie. It didn't spill...they sent it partially filled, but you better believe it was FULL of ice. But to be fair, on this occasion, our extra chees was actually included this time. This has been an issue for years but it's the only McDonald's anywhere near us. We've actually walked products to the McDonald's to exchange before when they've so terribly messed up, only to be met with attitude as if we slopped the ketchup all over the burger that says "no ketchup". Or when they completely miss out items in the bag. And lord help you if you go to collect, you'll be waiting an hour for a cheeseburger. By far the worst McDonald's I've been to, and I've been to some dingy McDonald's. I give them a 2 stars because, to our great surprise, SOME food arrives ;)

I only go there when the kids insist on eating junk and since my powers of persuasion cannot overcome the indoctrinated minds of teenagers fuelled by a billion dollar industry’s food engineering and marketing budgets. They stuff their faces with cheeseburgers and I eat my salad. It’s fine, yeah, it’s fine I guess.

Lovely McDonald's with a different theme to my local ones. It had sofas and plenty of space and a welcoming environment. Toilets were a good size and clean. Staff were very friendly and not phased by a trans customer making me feel welcome

Every time i come to this mcdonald's 9 times out of 10 i get asked to wait in the carpark. The food is never fresh and today the chicken burger and wrap of the day were disgusting. It's as if you've made the food and let it sit there for a day then served it to a customer. Definitely avoid st Albans mcdonald's if you can.

Waiting 20 minutes for an ice-cream. Smaller than usual portion. My 11 year old daughter tried to say about this and the young girl serving was dismissive. I needed to speak to the little girl serving and she denied any problems but, gave another ice-cream and surprisingly it was bigger. No apology for the delay or issues. I think this'll be the last time coming here. Run by a bunch of kids who wouldn't know customer services if it bit them on the backside. I am most definitely not 'luvin it'.

What is it with McDonalds now. Food is never hot anymore luke warm at best. The quality just isn’t there anymore.

Ordered 2 mcCrispy’s today at 5.15 to see once I got home 1 of them had no lettuce, no mayo but bacon. I would of gone back but I had work at 6pm. This type of burger isn’t even on the menu Disgusting.

Restaurant was fairly busy, but service was quick and food was fast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend to go in and order in the restaurant as the queue to get through the drive-thru can be long, and the car park does have a fair amount of parking spaces.

This outlet is so slow compared to others. Normally 15 min for a simple order. I have no idea why it is so slow, but it is every time.

Rude staff, the food was completely cold when it came from the drive through, didn't except that the fries would have no flavour and everything would be completely cold. The happy meal didn't even come with a toy! Kids were devasted, never coming back

I needed to eat something out of the house because I didn't have time to cook that day. what I ate was not fantastic and it was the last time I ate from such a place and I do not mean this restaurant in particular, but all of this industry.

Sadly it’s not the staffs fault that this is a poorly designed restaurant that cannot cope with the volume of customers. Macdonalds need to sort out the size to accommodate the customer demand. I feel bad for the staff as they are all on top of each other in the kitchen scrambling to deliver the food.

This mcdonalds is ALWAYS busy busy. For collect at counter orders expect AT LEAST a 15 minute wait for your order, whether it be a coffee or a huge order.

Food took 20 minutes to come to the table, everything was cold and there were 2 items missing completely. A terrible experience. we only visited this store as the kids and I were in the area to visit the Verulamium museum; which was great. Service was incredibly slow, there were no milkshakes or milk based drinks available at all, or any I've cream desserts. We won't be coming back here ever again.

Absolutely disgusting so slow and when I’m always asked to park up I’m waiting 15 minutes and then my food comes and there’s no dips that have been put in always something missing absolutely brainless people there’s not much to do in an order for two people and they can never get it right as I say quite disgusting. Restaurant half full. Loads of people waiting for food. No table numbers available so had to wait at till. No toys in kids meal because they have run out. Milkshake was only 3/4 full. No curry dip as they have run out. Chips and burger were cold… Lots of room for improvement.

I went to McDonalds today at St Albans City Park for collecting my online order. Having waited for around 20-30 mins, I have not seen my order reflected post collection. Later when I spoke to Manager Mr.Emanuel King he instantly checked and realised my order somehow got cancelled. He later apologised and taken order again and also complimented the delay with an extra fries. Point I want to make here is not about the additional compliment but the customer satisfaction realising what has happened. Amazing work by Mr. Emanuel. In fact, during whole of this waiting time, I was watching this manager and he so kind, friendly and humble in speaking to customers there. It was one of busiest afternoons and he was so patient enough to greet everyone and check whether everything is okay. I felt such a humble people like Mr. Emanuel are needed for any company to have as a manager. I wanted to takeout my time in writing this so that "Hard Work" and "Great Work" done by such individuals needs a Big Shout-out and also to attention of Mc Donalds Senior Management. Once again, Mr. Emanuel King, you will grow big heights in a any firm you join.

It's always good to visit Mcdonald. But it's getting expensive. There shoul be discount for pensioners when dining in sore.

I have just got back from McDonald’s St Albans. Foolishly, on my part, I didn’t check my order. I was supposed to have 2 Big Mac Meals, 9 chicken nuggets and Halloumi fries but in the bag was 3 cheese burgers and 6 chicken strips. Very disappointing. Feel ripped off!

Always have to park up and wait at this McDonald’s, every single time. Even for a basic order of nuggets and selects. When using the drive thru I’d expect to get my food but this may aswell be called drive thru park up and wait
