Mcdonald's Restaurant in North Down

Got this food delivered for lunch and it was freezing couldn’t reheat it was that soggy! Called the customer service to be told nothing can be done and no refund the order was 40£. So disappointed in McDonald’s.

Just got mcdonalds paud 25 pound for it.was delivered to my home and it was totally uneatable.no come back cause it was from just eat had to throw the lot out...people beware

All the staff were great. Everything that went wrong is a management failure. The staff were really upset there wasn't a safe place to put my wheelchair when I needed to sit comfortably at a table with my teen child. The staff were friendly and did their best to understand sign language. My teen-ager was able to interpret but it shouldn't be placed upon a child to communicate. Like I said, the staff were fantastic but the management needs to invest in their workers by putting correct numbers on per shift and paying for customer service employees to have at least 1 team member with a Makaton Sign Level 1 qualified person on every shift. Both BSL and ASL communities can communicate with Makaton at most basic level. Management needs to see all the team, including security staff and invest in all of them as it's not fair. For the volume of customers and how busy it gets, management couldn't do their jobs yet get paid loads more.

Went to McDonalds last night and ordered food etc was not allowed to eat in the restaurant as apparently after a certain time you can’t eat in. Everyone had to stand outside in the absolutely lashing rain to eat food. McDonald’s is a fast food restaurant and the word restaurant means sitting and consuming the food should be an option. Disgraceful way to treat paying customers.

Maureen was a delight, such a treasure, and the best representation for Mcdonald's i have ever seen. Maureen is a legend!

Crazy busy. Unpleasant atmosphere. Quick in, long queue, and an even quicker out. Not the best by a country mile. Avoid!

On the way home from the theatre 22/2/23 and decided to have something to eat.stopped at McDonald's where the food is usually good but not that night. service was polite and courteous shame the meal didn't match the service.chips and chicken strip's ordered.sat down looking forward to the meal.number shouted out from the counter after being told that it would be brought over to us . chips cold chicken incorrectly cooked.took back to the counter and told the meal would have a probe put in it to check temperature but I declined and the was told the meals would be changed,but I had bitten onto one of the chicken strip's so I didn't want a repeat of the same thing.I contacted MacDonald who were sorry for the poor experience and offered £1.99 as a gesture.meal cost £12.79 so I thought a free meal should have been offered.on the night yes we were offered to change the meal but after tasting the meal just couldn't bring ourselves to have anything.this not a moan just observations.

Mental, Food was cold - Security / bouncers on the door. Cheaper than England though which is always a positive

The front staff either they are manager or TL there’s no excuses of not wearing hairnet and hat especially if u have long hair, serving food at the front of the counter. Poor service, lack of training how to acknowledge customers. The food was alright even though it’s everyday routine. They don’t smile, they are look miserable faces. These young staffs should be energetic, enthusiastic and have empathy with customers, because without customers the business is nothing.. They are not even apologies for their mistakes and they are rolling their eyes and talking. They should act professionally because when they took the job, customers are the important. Even you having a bad day outside work don’t bring into work it’s a bad vibes. And customers not like that bad vibes. Stay humble as u can and have patience too customers.. during pandemic is full of stressful but we don’t want that in McDonald’s environment..

This McDonalds in the city centre of Belfast is just your average McDonalds. Food is what you would expect for fast food places. The McFlurry I had on this visit was actually quite pleasing.

How hard is it to get an order wrong. How difficult is it to understand NO CHEESE, even having the sticker that says no cheese on the box you would think might be a bit of a giveaway??? Maybe!!

Most efficient McDonalds I hsve been in a long time. There was a lady working upstairs walking round the customers checking everything was okay and gettibg anythinv they needed.

Visited at half past 11 at night with three friends. I understand it was late but the security guard tried to stop 2 of my friends from coming in saying they were closing -despite google saying the closing time was 12am. I explained that they were part of the group and he begrudgingly let them in. I paid for my food using the kiosk however I was given no number or receipt. I asked an employee and they rudely told me to “just wait?” While I waited for my order the security guards and male employee bantered over the counter. The security guard ordered food for his lunch and was given chips. There was a handful of chips left and I presumed fresh ones would be dropped for our order. When I finally received my food I was waiting 25 minutes and was the LAST person left in the restaurant. Employees were unbothered and unapologetic, leaving the bag on the counter for me to take without greeting me. I decided to check my bag before I left and not only was I missing dips, napkins etc I was missing a large chips. I asked if I could have a large chips as I was missing one and I caught the male employee roll his eyes. I was given a half filled carton of left over chips from the security guards lunch. At this point I was very annoyed and I questioned if it was large fries due to it being so lazily filled and the employee condescendingly told me it was and showed me a medium carton to compare. In the end I just left and quickly realised the rest of the food was freezing cold. The nuggets were hard, and the burgers were not fresh. I never write reviews but there is a serious lack of effort in place regarding all aspects of the establishment. I hope the security guard enjoyed his lunch all the same.

Visited this branch of McDonald's last weekend. There was a queue outside for social distancing purposes, which was ok. The queue moved quite fast. Staff were lovely and food arrived quickly.

Visited here twice during a recent trip, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Food was as expected, same as most maccys, waiting time was good as it was ot busy. A staff member called Maureen was working, she helped us get a table, made sure it was clean, answered a query we had and was generally really helpful. and not just to us. It was a really hot day and she went above and beyond to help the customers. She is a credit to mcdonalds and i hope they see this

Managing needs improved workers need a moral boost just the average mcdonalds service need improving

Manager was ridiculously cheeky, bought my meal and didn't get a receipt from the machine. As I have allergies I needed to know the meal I was getting was mine. Meanwhile was begged by a homeless woman for food and she then goes on to order lots for her friends-meanwhile the bouncer just watches??? Really stressful deffo avoid

Totalmente sorprendido por el servicio al cliente! Estuve allí anoche con 3 amigos. Solo estábamos nosotros allí (alrededor de la medianoche) y cuando recibimos nuestros pedidos y mientras comíamos hamburguesas conversamos sobre qué más pedirles después de nuestra comida, una chica rubia detrás de un mostrador gritó muy fuerte: una vez que recibiste tu orden ¡SALIR! ! ! ! No podíamos creer lo que oíamos, ¡pero seguimos pensando qué más pedir cuando ella volvió a gritar lo mismo, muy fuerte y en tono exigente! ¡El resto del personal detrás del mostrador se echó a reír! Nos quedamos totalmente conmocionados y luego el Portero nos explicó amablemente que no se le permite comer a esa hora de la noche (cuando estábamos haciendo un pedido, elegimos la opción Comer adentro que estaba disponible). ¡Creemos que esta chica nos dijo eso en un tono y palabras inaceptables porque nos escuchó hablar en un idioma diferente y pensamos que era racista! Sge podría habernos pedido que nos fuéramos amablemente y lo habríamos hecho.

Hay tantas máquinas automáticas de pedidos en la planta baja que los asientos están muy restringidos. Qué asientos hay cerca de la puerta que se abría continuamente, por lo que estaba completamente CONGELADA. Escaleras muy empinadas al primer piso, sin ascensor, por lo que el usuario es muy hostil. Para acceder a los baños se requiere un código de recibo. No parecía haber un aviso de horario de limpieza, los baños estaban sucios y hay más escaleras hasta estos, muy empinada. Sentí que necesitaba una cámara hiperbárica cuando llegué a la cima. ¡NUNCA MÁS!

Got from here after a night out. Ordered two double cheeseburgers and 9 nuggets. After getting home i found out i had only got 6 nuggets! Your staff need to learn the right way up of the box. Won't return after a night out after such a simple error.

McDonalds will never be fine dining but this outlet has taken any redeeming features and thrown those out too, slow service of insipid cold fare purchased iamongst rubbish and prowling heroin addicts. An atmosphere of hostility and grease.

Mc Donald’s en el centro de Belfast, local con pocas mesas en la planta baja pero muy lindo en el piso superior. Lo visitamos un domingo al mediodía y estaba muy tranquilo, la atención fue cordial. Las hamburguesas estaban muy bien como en todos los Mc. Tienen máquinas para hacer el pedido si uno quiere.

Estos comentarios fueron hechos por la mayoría de los porteros que estaban en la entrada y dejaron a mi amigo y a mí sintiéndome insultado, disgustado y violado. No esperaría que estos comentarios fueran hechos por alguien y menos por hombres sobrios que están destinados a ser profesionales en el trabajo.

Won’t be back, horrible staff on counter M****. She knows who she is. Work around the corner and could call maybe over half a dozen times in the year including with my family. Won’t be back the way I was treated.

It's like any other McDonald's. It's tasty, but there is too many people in it at one time and some teenagers come in and try and muck about in it. If your not comfortable in big crowds don't come to this McDonald's!

Ho trovato molto comodo avere a disposizione un locale h24 in un città come Belfast che dopo una certa ora offre veramente pochi posti dove mangiare. Il menù è il solito ma è sempre una garanzia.

so im usually not 1 to complain but after 2 terrible visit i have say this mcdonalds is 1 complain waited 999 for 2 bagels there was atleast 8 staff on all mostly standing around i unstand it was near change over but 17 minutes plus as then i asked for the manger and was told my order never appred on screen which i did as i seen it all good got refund and food for free.

Took a long time to receive cheeseburger,the old system of one queue was much quicker.Enjoyed the food when it came.

Aunque parece que son mucho automizing MacDs su sistema pidiendo no es tan bueno como tener una a una con un servidor. Cuando fuimos estaba muy lleno y el personal no estaban en la cima de la limpieza. Para mejorar.

Estaba lleno de abajo, pero había un buen sistema de pedidos con números de colección similar a Argos. La comida es lo que esperaba. Arriba estaba muy tranquilo, bastante amplias y bastante cómodas. Había wifi.

Оказалось, что в нем вместо мясной котлеты – котлетка из нута, что-то типа большого сплющенного фалафеля. Еще мне понравилось, что гарнир можно выбирать, картошка фри или зеленый салат. Выбор напитков тоже не ограничивался только холодными газированными напитками, можно было взять чай или кофе. Я доплатила чуть-чуть к стоимости этого комплекта и взяла себе вместо обычного кофе замечательный мокко из Маккафе. Выдача заказов немного тормозила. Мой номер уже светился на табло, что его можно забирать, но по факту мне отдали собранный пакет только через несколько минут. Это единственный минус. Но в целом все было очень вкусное и свежее.

This McDonald's has tried to cut queues by introducing self service order machines but it doesn't make much difference to the food being served as the chips were soggy. Not an very positive experience.

Unfriendly unhelpful staff. Only 9pm no toilet facilities available. Absolutely freezing sat shivering. Music blaring not able to talk. Let down to this worldwide chain.

McDonalds has gone high tech!!!! I nipped in to see how the newly refurbished McDonalds looked like in the City Centre. Was pleasantly surprised to see how high tech it looked. There's a real nice flow and feel to it. You can order on touch screens and pick up at the counter, or can regularly order at the counter. Not long til they automate everything and get rid of humans!!

I would steer a little clear if you can of this at night. We went on a Sunday evening and other than the kids which you expect there were drunks in the restaurant too.. now the food is normal MD's but large coffee was delivered as a regular and 6 ice creams one was runny where other 5 were normal.Staff were good about changing but have to feel sorry for them as they have to deal with homeless and drunks!!!

2 floors, lovely tea, salad and of course top notch burgers! Placed central in the city centre, greats views too. I don't know why, but the burgers here taste nicer than any McDonalds in the mainland!

Absolutely shocking. Another customer had jumped the queue in front on me and my sister. I decided to ask this customer could I go first as I was already waiting a considerable amount of time and it was my turn. The customer was happy enough with this. I then approached the counter to the member of staff named Natasha with blonde hair and a stinking attitude. She obviously found me very rude by asking this customer to let me go first (which was my right) She didn't say hello, please, thank you or goodbye. I work with the public myself and I am in a managerial position and if I thought that any of my staff members were to treat any of my customers the way she treated me, I would be disgusted. She should not be working in the position she's working in or else she needs a refresher course in customer service.

Came in quickly on my break for work excited at the prospect of cheese dippers, when I ordered I asked for takeaway but was greeted to a tray of food. Also the new system of calling out numbers isn't exactly put to use here as Chloe (your staff member who gives out the orders) decided to list off all the items of your order instead of stating the obvious. They didn't give me my cheese dippers so I am having my lunch saddened by the fact these were not received, along with no barbecue sauce or sweet curry dip. My colleague loves barbecue sauce so she was not impressed. I don't think this is a trip I will be making again.

Generally a McDonalds is a McDonalds is a McDonalds - convenient and quick food, nothing sparkling but fills a hole and this one should be a typical McDs if it weren't for the other customers!We ate here twice over our weekend in Belfast - once for a snack on a Friday night and once for breakfast on Saturday morning.There were drunken kids on the Friday night (the doorman had his work cut out keeping undesirables out (although he didn't look too professional himself stood on his door smoking a fag!!) and on the Saturday morning there were a group of people who looked like they had slept on the streets - one couple almost eating one another at 8am - not exactly pleasant to see while eating breakfast.

Were over with my brother and sister with all the kids at the Titanic Exhibition. Went into town afterwards for a quick bite to eat before getting the ferry. Kids love McDonalds and the food was ... typical McDonalds. It was busy, it was crowded and there were a few tables but some were not cleared. So assisting my sister on clearing a table I didn't realise that she had put her tray with food on the table. I mistook it for garbage to be cleared and it went in the trash. Not my finest moment I admit. But here is the difference. We went down to the food service area, explained the mishap and they promptly provided another meal free of charge. This hospitality is something I experienced the entire trip when in Belfast whether it was the Ferry staff, the bus drivers, shop attendants or just people in general. Irish hospitality and it was natural. Well done, you are all a credit to your country.

This is a central McDonalds in Belfast and it is horrible and unfriendly and unhygienic. The building is always a safety hazard and a massive mess.

Why does this place still exist, the most unenjoyable place I've ever had to eat. The tables aren't clean, the floors are filthy, the food is killing people. When you order a burger you receive a very sloppy one indeed, covered in grease and wrapped in paper. Take one bite and its mushy like a piece of garbage!! Everything on the menu is just as off-putting as the surroundings. I feel so uncomfortable just entering a McDonald's restaurant as I am cautious to touch anything because the place is covered in filth. I feel so turned and slightly sad that I see so many people eating here. Do they know what they are doing to themselves.Eat clean, live long and stay well away from places like McDonald's!!

Do not usually eat in this food chain but it was conveniently placed for a snack and looked clean and tidy ....it was ! The food was acceptable and seating areas tidy . There are no bins as in English Mac D's ...staff clear the tables and everything is meticulously clean .[ We even saw a Litter Patrol warden fine someone for dropping burger litter outside the restaurant !] Certainly a bonus to find this level of service in a fast food chain and it increased our impression of Belfast as a very clean city .

The food is what you might expect. The experience is disappointing. Any type of catering outlet will work in this prime position but would the staff exhibit the same air of indifference? Standards seem to be slipping in the Golden Arches.

Due to the prominent corner position, this place is always packed and always busy. Unfortuantely also due to it's position, there is exceptionally limited seating / space on the ground floor. So, if you're traveling with little ones in tow, you have to leave the stroller downstairs (somewhere in the way as there's no space to park it!) and hike up massive stairs to the additional seating. The ground floor is a 1.5 story level; so there's lots of stairs to get to the first floor.Pity it's not more child friendly. In lieu of that, it would be nice to see a McCafe open in the space on the ground floor with a different seating arrangement and burgers upstairs.

The cleanliness here is terrible, the food is stone cold, it takes 20 minutes to get served and there also isn't enough seating in this branch, I am not sure if I would ever return again.

Stopped for shakes with my young daughter. They were so frozen they took ages to defrost. My daughter could not drink the shake for a good 20 minutes as it wouldn't pass through the straw. Disappointing as what should have been a treat ended up being a squealing match with a toddler.

Noisy, dirty, slow, untidy and unpleasant is how I would describe my last visit here and most of my previous visits. It was very busy with no sign of a queue, people just jumping ahead to be served. Pandemonium! The food was not up to normal McDonalds standards. Only 2 girls seemed to be taking orders when they had several tills available. They had no chance. Managers take note here. When I eventually did get served I got manky limp lettuce on my chicken legend which I thought was a bit undercooked. My wife's burger was supposed to have no onions but of course was full of them. I was carrying out so be sure to check your order before you leave as we had small chips instead of large. One of the McFlurry's was almost empty and the others very small. I should have complained but the thought of going back there was to much.The only thing I would say to be fair to the staff was that the place was far to busy for them to cope. There did seem to be loads of staff on but some were wandering around, others packing stock into cupboards, and some out the back chatting. Whoever runs this store needs to wise up and pay a little attention to the customer. If I didn't have kids that wanted McDonalds I wouldn't go near this outlet. And they have the cheek to call it a restaurant! On Saturday evening it was like a scene from a Hieronymus Bosch painting in there! Awful awful experience which will probably be repeated the next time I give in to the children.

The food is awful. The place is full of badly behaved teens who also gather outside. The staff are sullen.

so dirty it was the worst McDonalds I have even been in need a wash after I left. The toilets were well you guessed very dirty.

I suppose I should always check order as they always get it wrong but when you are on the way to school with 2 hungry kids, you just don't have time. Ordered through drive thru 1 bacon roll with no sauce, 2 hash browns and 2 bottles or orange juice. When I got order, I had 1 breakfast wrap with sausage, egg and cheese !!! Kids couldn't eat it as it was gross. So shared 2 hash browns instead.
