Amazing food, staff very friendly, place clean and nice

This McDonalds always stands out with quality, amazing workforce, and good atmosphere in every season!

Third time we been and no ice-cream or milkshakes. Useless.

I had to leave a review, this is the cleanest mac d I have ever been in from floors to tables to 6 area. The food was prompt hot and taste..amd banging tunes playing .5 stars guys x

I'd say this is one of the better one. Fast service, not full of delivery people taking all the staffs time and friendly staff who were cleaning and happy to help

One of the best McDonald's we've ever been to. The staff were exceptional and lovely, very friendly, took an interest in us as a family, and we could see them going around making sure everyone was OK, and that all the tables were cleared and cleaned as it was exceptionally busy to boot. Would gladly stop here again!

Food smelt really strongly of cheap perfume on opening the bag. Staff member said they'd remake the order, but although the replacement didn't smell it was stone cold. Same food rewrapped we expect, especially as the replacement was provided so quickly. Customised order, so unlikely replacements were readily to hand. We won't be back.

Busy, great location, good tasting food, and always hot. Can be tricky to park sometimes, but at least each space is now numbered so there are lots of Click and Serve opportunities. Fast service too.

Best McDonald's I've had! Staff were great with kids too!

Very poor customer service. When they got my drive through order wrong, I was told that it was my fault for not checking the screen and to ensure I did so in future. However I did check the screen as best I could for the very brief time that they display the order. So basically i was told it was my fault for not supervising and verifying their poor data entry skills.

Don't really like eating that kind of food

Went through the drive thur and was told to park in a bay whilst waiting another car parked behind me I tried to explain that I need to get out the woman said I want your space to which I tried to explain if you park in the main car park they will still find you to which she became rude and hostile there were car that couldn't get past as well which made things very conjusted McDonald's needs to sort out the waiting bay situation as I for one won't be returning in a hurry to add insult to injury I open the bag of food to find a squashed single burger not a double and missing fries no napkins and no sauces that were paid forlike I said won't return in a hurry

Service was good but there were a bunch of rowdy young boys looking under tables and sofa pillows looking for money. They were very loud and disrespectful.

Out of the 5 hash browns our family had in the order, 2 of them were over cooked so much, they were hard and could be snapped in half! Otherwise food was hot and prompt!

I waited 20 minutes for my order. Staff were setting orders as ready to collect even when they weren't ready, I assume this was so there slow speed was not registered on the system.

Never open or working in the mornings before 7am. Always find an excuse

What a shambles. Ordered 3 meals via the app. Not one single burger was made as requested. All things not wanted were still in there (I mean who really wants pickles?) and the extra bacon I paid for wasn’t. They didn’t even get the happy meal toy choice right. Throw in some cold chips to complete the miserable experience. Even the car park doesn’t function. That was gridlocked.

Not to bad there been to better ones and worse but please get a cleaner your toilets stink

It's a little short of a perfect rating. But the morning breakfast was tasty.

Dirty place and awful service. Had issues with an order and asked to speak to a manager to be met with someone with an attitude problem. Tried to explain my issues and frustration to be told I was the rude. Gave up and left with no order. Makes no difference to them but I won’t be returning. I can see from other reviews I’m not the only one to have had issues with service at this restaurant which really says it all really. A refresh on customer service training is needed!

Advertised as 24 hours however the staff often shut super early. They also app orders through but no one appears to be working inside!!

Stopped in to grab a quick lunch when out with work in the area. Standard McDonald's food and nothing special in that area. But the woman that works in the restaurant was outstanding, absolutely wasted working in McDonald's, bright our food over, checked if we needed anything extra, checked in half way through our food, I couldn't believe it never had that in a McDonald's before. Looking around she was so friendly with everyone, she made my day a lot better. Sadly I didn't get her name but she was amazing!!

Another McDonald’s but exceptional amazing staff member Debbie. That helped us with our order and dealt with us being annoying. When sitting down eating our food just seeing Debbie go out of her way to make customers days. She’d be the perfect manger in any food restaurant/retail stores. Very understanding and happy to help. Second time we have seen Debbie here and always goes the extra mile

Just wanted to thank mcdonald's for giving me food poisoning yesterday evening, from their milkshake machines...

I just go for the coffee, but on two occasions I have been recently the coffee machine has been down, but I didn't find out until I had done the auto order and was awaiting "delivery", only to be told at that stage there was no coffee!

Good place for a quick bite to eat

Have deducted 1 star for being unable to order via the app due to the incorrect menu being displayed. It was only allowing breakfast orders, but breakfast wasn't being served at that time. So I ordered via the drive thru where the staff were polite and friendly. Food was served promptly.

Fast and hot, chips were under seasoned

Terrible unprofessional and slow team. I never usually rate MCD because you know what you’re being however having a list of 10 or so orders on screen while staff casually chat as you wait 15+m for food is infuriating.

Ordered 5 piece chicken select meal at drive through today at 22:15, was told to wait in bay so thought “fab” food will be hot - a few minutes later a guy came out with my meal, I quickly touched my fries and they were cold so called the guy told him and asked for hot fries, he took them, and a few minutes later he came back with fries in a new bag. Trusting they would be hot I hit the motorway and less than a minute later went to grab a fry and they were colder than the ones I got first time, and like eating cardboard. I am very disappointed in the customer service and did not get value for money

Brilliant experience at McDonald's Newport yesterday. The place was busy but the food was ready quickly and was hot. Special mention for Shania, as soon as we sat down she came over and asked if she could clean the table, when we'd finished she came over and took our tray away, she was polite, helpful and cheerful, a credit to the location.

Alright food but Internet connection was rubbish so couldn't log in to the app to get the points. Car park is redicuolsy small.

Again, it’s McDonalds….fresh out of Duck a l’orange, fillet steak and lobster, I took a punt on their take on a classic cheeseburger…. It reminded of childhood gays and fast food….

Credit to this site , Very clean , polite staff ,Manager working with the staff, Food was actually hot ( First time ever ) food was great. A little wait but that’s expected when busy . Nice clean table to eat your food , Makes a change. A credit to the McDonald’s chain . Thank you 😊.

Anything fast food served at this Mcdonalds. Waited around 20 minutes for my food. But was in a rush so had to leave, They are so slow it is ridiculous.

One of the cleanest and nicest McDonalds that I have visited in the UK! We had a lovely "wrap of the day" with a cup of tea each. The tables were clean and the place was Christmassy 🎄 🎅

Stopped off at the drive thru on my way home. When I started eating my burger I noticed this long hair strand coming out of my burger. I tried to contact the store but they never replied.

Working over the road and this place has had no coffee for over a week now keep asking when it will be back to normal and the staff reply is there waiting for the machine to be fixed. I would have thought somebody up in higher management would have sorted it by now , they must be loosing a fortune !!

Forgot chilli cheese bites first time, go round 30 mins later and forgot them again.

Ordered online as nearest 24/7 branch and been performing at an event with teens that ran over, midnight. Drive over to find drive thru barricaded and store locked, no sign except the one stating 24/7 branch: hope the money doesn’t go out.

Same old MacDonalds. It's just around the corner from where I live so it's mandatory when the grandchildren are visiting.

It was ok as they all are if you're hungry and in a hurry it's fine. If you made a habit of eating here daily you'd probably be dead 30 years earlier than intended

Why will you take notice?? Girl taking order via drive through didn't listen so order was wrong, it was rectified at the next window, after explaining 3 times. The chicken sandwich had hardly any lettuce at all. What a rip off.

3rd visit here and it just gets worst, the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. No staff speak English very well which makes it all very hard! Super slow orders, stuff not available, wrong items coming out. Just overall very very poor!

OK it’s a Macdonald’s by a motorway and you should know what to expect - but the staff we encountered were super helpful and friendly.

Non busy staff deliberately ignore you if you want to pay by cash at the counter. I guess they're trying to get you to use the touchscreens (which were all being used btw). I left and went somewhere else.

Too many cocks wandering around outside. The food is as it should be. The prices are a little high but it's the only quick takeaway in the area, so will always be the go to place on the way home from a night out.

Hit and miss here. I've had some perfect meals but too often I've had products missed from my order and awful food.

Sub par even for MacDonalds. Burger was not hot and the milkshake not thick or filled to the top. They gave us 2 vanilla when we asked for one vanilla and 1 strawberry

It's McDonald's :) Can always count them to be open late at night. Went around 11:30 and compared to other takeaways, it's cheap. Plus extra bonuses for mobile orders as points are added for free food later on.

It was supposed to be a BBQ burger, but it had hardly any sauce. Not impressed.

We ordered a pick-up at this McDonald's, and it came up on the screen saying, Please collect, and 15 minutes later, we asked them where our order is. And they said. They haven't made it yet.

It's McDonald's, so you know what you're getting food-wise. But what stood out was the service - we stopped here at lunchtime on a bank holiday weekend and there was a long queue for the drive in (very common). But inside, the staff were working flat out to keep things moving. We placed a large order, and there was one small mistake - the wrong drink was served. When we pointed it out, three different members of staff immediately went into overdrive to sort out the small issue. The staff here deserve a lot of praise for the lengths they went to for us and everyone else who was there.

I obtained cold chips, vanilla milkshake instead of banana (Despite changing the drink 3 times) and a dirty looking apple pie. One of the banana milkshakes were given to the next customer. How I know... the dirt on the cup was the same as that which I asked to be changed. I believe that my milkshake was not fresh, as I received milk with no ice cream.

It's a McDonalds so you almost always get what you're expecting. This one is clean, tidy and the staff seems to go the extra mile.

My son love McDonald or as he calls it Donyay, the safe are nice although there are 3 people who always go above and beyond. 1 is a young woman called Sam, she always makes sure your visit is amazing. She is great with kids and adults. The other two unfortunately I don't remember their names but they are both seated area staff. Every time we eat in, they are amazing. Talk to the kids, offer them colouring pages with crayons and a balloon. Nothing is too much for them and are so friendly, always smiling and it's a genuine pleasure to see them be so upbeat all the time. I have never been to this place without seeing these people giving 200% every McDonalds needs staff like these. They truly make the experience of eating in a pleasure

20mins waiting for a drive through breakfast order. Nothing special, normal breakfast items. After parking in the bay, our order was missing a sausage and egg mcmuffin, to had to go into the store to sort it out. Once on the road we opened the pancakes and syrup were actually pancakes and sausage. What was meant to be a quick pitstop was just a complete saga.

Stopped here for breakfast, pleasantly surprised. McDonald's food is normally lukewarm at best (including hot drinks) but this was nice and hot. Friendly attentive service from the staff in the room, very clean and tidy. All the food seems somewhat smaller and more expensive! Shrinkflation? Would come here again.

Bacon undercooked jn my burger and milkshake was like water. Place stunk of canabis and toilet was messy.

I would recommend, the place is very clean and the food very nice. The cleaner is worth a shot out, very hard working and clearly took pride in her work.

As Fast Food goes , you know what to expect , the food here is almost always well made and well presented in the box, staff are happy to accommodate any changes you might want to the standard menu items. To top it all off Bideford McDonald's is always spotlessly clean and well staffed, one of the best I've visited in this regard, from the car park to the toilets and everything in-between super tidy and clean.

Drive through was great, until I needed to wait in the bay and the server frightened the hell out of me delivering my food 🤣

I ordered the burgers and enjoyed the service but looked in the mirror and realised that I had gotten fatter... There should be a warning on the side of these tasty treats of such things.. I mean I only eat a dozen a day.. That's normal right? And the people on the adverts are all so skinny.. I figured if I ate there I would also be skinny and happy.. Bah

Been twice in the morning order wrong both times. To be fair the manager made it up for the mistakes

Went with a group of young people where one of them was accused of causing trouble the day before and none of my group are from the area. When we told staff this they said they would check cctv anyway and received no apology when it was evident we were in the right. Then accused of smoking, appalling way to be treated

If I could give 0 I would have. I ordered 3 burgers drove home and found that I only had two. I was too tired to go back. How hard is it to put 3 burgers in a bag? Clearly too hard. Should I have anticipated the incompetence of the personnel as this particular restaurant? Maybe. I won’t be going back in a hurry- a bit like they weren’t in a hurry to serve me.

I called in hoping for fast food, but it appears since covid, that paying public on site are waiting for the just eat gang, this shouldst be the case, but most definitely is, I didn't complain in person as I saw no point, the presentation of the attached burger gives an indication of the standards there, 15+ mins for supposedly fast food, poor.

Not first time I have been here but will be the last. Unfortunately on many occasions food is delayed or wrong or cold.
