I ordered through the app, but my family picked up the order. They gave them the big bag. Home we realised all the drinks were missing, no ketchups, no dips, no straws, etc. I phoned the restaurant for advice as we were home already, I was advised I will get a refund no need to pop in. I phoned next day as well, manager Bev answered the phone, no apologies at all, she was rude, humiliating. She was making fun of me about the missing ketchups!!! In the end she said" you can complain wherever you want, I don't have time for this, I am busy". Is not the first time items are missing from the order, fries are cold, sometimes no salt at all sometimes unedible. No apologies at all, they treat you like sh...

Great place for a quick place to eat and great food also the staff was very kind and helpful i would recommend people to come eat there

My order is always missing something that I PAID for. And why do I pay for a large meal when most of the chips are missing anyway?

Fuming. Twice in two weeks I've been and both times food was missing. A big cheese tast with bacon. And the bloody cheese was missing one occasion and the bacon was the other occasion. Everything was cold too. Its a nice surprise when your order is correct because almost everytime I go mine is not. Shame we haven't got a burger king or KFC in caernarfon so I could go there. Sick of being disappointed with my order and its not cheap which makes it worse.

Really disappointed with staff here. Always begin to take your order in english. We are a Welsh town. I understand this from English staff but the Welsh ones even do it. And the least the english ones could say is Diolch at the end. The Welsh ones even insist to continue the conversation in english. The Welsh language should be the first language used then divert to english for non Welsh speakers. The english ones should be able to say diolch.

Just about the best UK MacDonalds I've ever been to. Food was served quickly, hot and tasted great. The restaurant was clean and bright. Had a chat with the server/attendant, a guy called Jerry, top bloke.

Food is good but the girl serving the food was rude, and grumpy. No smiles on the faces here unfortunately.

The food here is usually poor, it's put me off McDonald's generally. Blonde undercooked chips, soggy, cold stale veggie dippers, awful. Today I was in a rush and succumbed to lunch, fantastic - crispy slightly browned fries, hot crispy dippers, at last- have you had your friers calibrated!

Everyone was happy there except the little kids roadmen one to be’s they were trying to start a fight with me be every thing else was perfect the staff helped a lot with stopping the fight.

I don’t normally complain but on our visit to this particular McDonald’s there was a young man sat at a table picking his nose and wiping it on his pants. This in itself made me feel nauseous then as the young lad stood up we noticed he was wearing a McDonald’s uniform. If this was you sat at the table near the window with dark hair you should be disgusted in yourself & I hope to god it wasn’t you that had prepared our food 🤢 Absolutely disgusting - don’t think we’ll be visiting again.

Such a useless store! Orders are more often wrong than right, cold food, rubber chips and that lovely Caernarfon hospitality.... The new KFC in bangor is a much better option!

Drive in All order placed was wrong, phoned to complain, not helpful at all basically told me it was my fault, this happens a lot at Caernarfon, quite often if you ask for an apple pie you get charged and finde out once you are parked or home that its missing. Nearly £20 spent with missing and wrong items!!!! You won't see me again!!!!!

Had a great breakfast here, the place was spotless, clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was quick despite lots of drive through customers. One of the nicest McDonald’s experiences I’ve had .

Had a delivery, absolutely atrocious, food was stone cold, like it’s been in the freezer before getting it, ordered 4 drinks and only got 2, absolutely shocking, well over priced, 5 pound deprived and it’s only few mins away, 30 pound for 3 people to receive cold food, won’t be getting it again

I ordered the new festive meal and was served my a young lovely woman, Sadiah i believe. She was so kind, and asked how my day was, I was having a particularly bad day as my childhood dog had just passed away but she brightened up my day!

First of all this could possibly be the worst McDonald’s in north wales Staff and customer service is appalling and the food well …. Cold stale and tasteless I ordered a toffee latte and it had no cream no sauce and tasted like rat pee I only go here because it’s my nearest McDonald’s Sort it out !

I was served by Dion, a 5ft2 guy, he rudely threw my chips on my face and tipped my strawberry milkshake down my new spiderman shirt. very dissapointed. won’t be staying in Carnarvon again, and as for YOU DION, I will find you.

Came here today for lunch for me and the kids. When i asked at the drive through if they offer NHS discount, the young male staff member snapped NO and then laughed to tje otjer staff that tjat is how he deals with people asking for a NHS discount. Food was lovely but that young boy was very rude and I have complained to mcdonalds!!!

Has a great meal and love the new mint choc chip frappe at the Caernarfon branch of maccies, the staff are all really great especially the girl with the American accent, she is a credit to the place, will be back again soon.

Two times we have visited here, and both time they have cocked up the order. First time they forgot to ass food items into the bag. By the time you have left the car park and check the food it's already too late to go back due to the queues in the main road. The second time we waited for 20 minutes in bay 1 as they has no fries ready. So went round the drivethrough again ad explained out wait. Got to the delivery window and was offered something that was not even ours. We were then given a bag with 4 large fries and said hank you. I checked the item in the car park only to find that the other food was missing. I was going to go in for a full refund only to be met my somebody in the car park with a bag of the remaining food. He seemed indignant that we wanted a refund and just said well i have got your food here now. Made a complaint and was gifted a voucher for £2.50 !!!! Dont think we will bother with this particular establishment again, as they seem unable to get simple things right.

Popped in tonight with my 2 daughters for a mid week treat. I don't usually review places like McDonald's, I don't expect great things, it is what it is. Food was good, chips were cold, but what was warm was the welcome, service and interaction we received from Jo! She is an absolute asset to this establishment. So its been a while people ! Last review was some time ago due to covid. Managed to grab a takeaway breakfast here whilst on a trip out. Much needed as I was HUNGRY. Bacon & egg mcmuffin great, hash browns as tasty as always. OJ just what I needed. Kept me going until we got to our destination.

I visited this Mcdonalds a few weeks ago and I went through drive through and there was a very rude employee who didn’t help me with anything and just wanted to get rid of me. This is not the first time and I am very appalled by this behaviour and will not be returning. She’s very rude and left me feeling frustrated.

Got my ordor wrong and had a long hair in my hash brown, piss take. Clearly not listening, and clearly not very hygienic. Never going there again.

Being local I tend to visit very often. 90% of the time the food is cold or like warm. It doesn't make a difference if is from drive through or an order made inside. Shame.

Went with my friends in a group of 6 and she accused us of spreading covid 19 and said we weren’t allowed to sit in and said that we weren’t allowed because she wanted to go home and she was tired and ‘couldn’t be arsed’ to clean up after us all, bear in mind it doesn’t close till 11 pm and we visited at around 8. We were very shocked with her response as we were all wearing masks and the people next to us weren’t, the other staff were lovely but we all were just gobsmacked with her attitude.

We visited here for drive through breakfast when leaving the area, the service was prompt, the staff polite and the food wad hot even though I read some reviews saying food was cold

This is my local mcds in Caernarfon and its the worse I’ve ever been too.how can a freshly made burger be cold within two minutes of receiving it if it was a one off I wouldn’t both writing this.but it’s the 3rd time in a row this time the milkshake was runny and warm too it must have been standing for a while manger trying too save money I think. We stopped for breakfast which is not something we do regularly, ordered and had it delivered to our table.I had a breakfast wrap with coffee, both of which were nice and hot. After finishing I was still hungry, and by chance one of the staff came round with several double sausage and egg McMuffins on a tray and was selling them for just £1. I didn’t let the chance slip by, needless to say I was full when I finished.A member of staff was meticulously clearing and cleaning the the tables and and the waste food area continually.Everywhere was spotless, the only annoying thing was that some customers got up and left without throwing their packages in the bin!

Stopped with my boyfriend for a meal via drive through, on our way to cinema so we were in a rush and couldn't go back to complain. It was really busy as it was around 4pm on a Friday, so I understand a mistake in an order, however our order had 4 errors. First of all I ordered a chocolate milkshake but got a strawberry one. Next thing was the lack of one straw, so my boyfriend couldn't drink his coke while driving (my straw was all soggy after a few minutes in the milkshake so he couldn't use it). My boyfriend had no mayo in his chicken mayo and lastly but most disappointing was the lack of sauce with my chicken selects. They tasted awful without any dip, which ruined the whole meal experience. I know there are way more serious things in the world to complain about but I worked in McDonald's 4 years ago and even on our busiest days, we've never been this chaotic.

On 9/8 after driving from Manchester my family and I had a meal each at McDonald’s Caenarfon. To my horror I found a dead wasp in my fries which I reported to the Manager. He promised an investigation into how this could have happened and I await his written response with interest!On 11/8 we returned to Manchester and gave the McDonalds Caenarfon another chance. Sadly it was a further disappointment with cold fries, chewing gum stuck to the window sill, and my 11 year old niece being ignored at the counter until an adult customer arrived at the counter and was served ahead of her. Perhaps the assistants should observe all customers and not just those who are above 5ft tall. Overall a very poor and disappointing experience. Not to be repeated!!

Local to the area, always had great food here. However on a number of recent visits I have encountered rude and aggressive-like staff. I do not expect to be spoken to as I am intruding on social chats when I order my food. Very disappointed in the way the staff speak to their customers and as a result I won't be returning. On this occasion, the female member of staff was rude to me at the paying kiosk of the drive through. Very, very poor service.

The place was supposed to be open late into the night but closed early for cleaning which disappointed me as I could have gone elsewhere but by the time I'd figured out that maccies was closed and got back to the village all the other eateries were closed so I had no dinner

I recently went to mcdonalds in caernarfon for breakfast, so ordered a bacon roll meal, as I opened the roll to check it I was disgusted at what I found, 2 of the hardest, tiniest rounds of smelly bacon. I took it back and they replaced it but no apology. Think its disgusting how they think they can get away with serving this kind of meal lol.

I called at the drive through on the way through to Dinas Dinlle. As I’m vegetarian, I ordered a egg and cheese McMuffin meal. Being on the way to meet some work colleagues for a charity day I didn’t check my order there and then. Half way there I had ate my hash brown, so was looking forward to my main breakfast. To my horror it was a double sausage McMuffin, with extra bacon to add insult to injury! I returned at lunch to get a refund. For saying what experience I had, I was very calm. While the manager apologised and offered to replace the meal, I wanted a refund. What I was gob smacked at was being challenged why I didn’t return that morning?! Ironically on the way back, Radio 2 were interviewing a family who’d lost their daughter because of a fast food lets incompetence for taking into account food allergies. While that’s an extreme example to use, this place should take more notice of specific dietary needs and not trying to turn the situation on me because I didn’t fit into their timeline. Or accept their first resolution! Very disappointed and upset over this incident. Would never return here again or recommend.

Me & Hubby went here for a late lunch today (Wednesday). We parked at the back following the one-way system. We read the banner promoting the great tastes of America. We didn't use the digital screens. We went to the counter and placed our order (we like human interaction). The young lady was pleasant and helpful. Our food was prepared fast (as you would expect). The total bill came to £10.58 which Hubby was able to pay by card (contactless). We helped ourselves to ketchup and serviettes. We sat down at a table for 2. Hubby enjoyed his large burger meal (quarter-pounder with cheese, fries & a drink of tea). My large wrap meal was very good (grilled sweet chilli chicken, fries & a tea). The staff were constantly clearing the tables (I wish customers would make the effort to do their own re-cycling).

Quick and easy breakfast, ordered using the touch screens and opted for table service. Restaurant and toilets clean. Quick to bring over food, order correct and hot. Good value breakfast menu.

On arriving home after going through the Drive-thru service, noticed that I only received half of my order.

It was lunch time and I wanted something quick without too much fuss so popped into Mc Donald's. Very busy on the day I visited, mostly kids but was served quickly. I only wanted a coffee but my partner had a cheese burger. What you expect is what you get.

I am not a great fan of fast food outlets but they serve a purpose! I needed something to eat in a hurry so popped in here. The service was quick and once you get used to the self service ordering point its a doddle [You can order at a till if you want].

I had an unpleasant experience last night with my husband. One of the staff started making fun of my husbands birthmark. We went through the drive through, this particular individual was working near the drinks section on the last window. Managed to catch a glimpse of her name as I thought this was totally unacceptable behaviour. She was talking to another staff member when she shouted “ ughhh look at that on his face!” And laughed. I’m sure her name was Kim or Kimberley. Either way name and shame. We will never be going here again. Unacceptable behaviour, regardless of the job, you should always greet customers with manners. Horrid.

My 5yr old son went into meltdown becuse he wanted a happy meal after he got home from school. I took him into the newly refurbished Caernarfon branch as we live not far, he usually wants to stay and use the new tablets to play games but tonight he wanted to go home and request I get a bag! ...I forgot to get the bag, meltdown ensued but thank God the manager/supervisor was there after I placed a second order for a bag (and cheese melts, yum!) To ask what size bag I'd like. Swift friendly service and prevented a complete meltdown. Thank you to the guy who served us. It was just a paper bag but it saved a night of tears!

Hubby and me went here for a quick lunch today (Wednesday). It is conveniently located on the main A487 road more or less opposite Tesco. The car park at the back is compact. It has recently undergone a digital makeover offering self-service kiosks, click & collect and table service. We prefer human interaction so we ordered the old-fashioned way at the counter. The chap who served us was helpful. Our large meals/hot drinks came to £10.48 which we paid by card (contactless). We accepted the offer of table service (no extra charge). We appreciated this new option. The meals were served promptly.

The food was adequate but the girl Ceri that served us was VERY rude. She threw our food onto the tray and had told us we were only allowed ONE dip for TWO meals. My mother cried in the car afterwards because her meal was too dry. It RUINED her chicken legend meal and she is only allowed out once a week. She usualy loves wolfing down her McDonalds with 3 - 4 sauces, but, sadly, not today.

Food is typical McDonalds, but the service here is good and the staff are polite and friendly, I have visited here frequently during the past few weeks because of it's proximity to the local hospital. The coffee is good, burgers are fine , the fries are ok . The restaurant does not have the touchscreens as installed in some places, the staff are Welsh speaking polite and helpful even at very busy times i,e, wet weekends during the summer break, Diolch Hogia.

We use the drive through relatively regularly and we don’t have many problems, but they always seem to forget to put in the side orders we’ve paid for - especially cheese bites! Since it’s a drive through we don’t check the order until we get home and by then it’s too late to return just to get a side order. It’s pretty annoying!

Visited here several times whilst on holiday. Covered one breakfast, one lunch and one dinner. Good service each time. The drive through is one of the tightest I've done, but no problems at all and if fast food is what you need then you will be suited here.

The Caernarfon mcdonalds can give you a wildly different experience depending on the time of day you go. If its quiet, make sure to customise your order so they make it fresh. Not a worry with busy times though.

On one of those occasions when hunger prompts you to call at the nearest McDonald's rather than pass it by, this day was just one of those occasions. The absence of a queue in the "drive-through" should have warmed me but never the less I gave my order for one of the miniscule choices of vegetarian meal, a Spicy Vegetable Deluxe. I passed to the next window quite quickly to be given my hot chocolate with the advice to park up as the remainder of the meal would take a few minutes. To cut the story short. I left the site with my order and drove approx 1.5 miles, opened the bag to what had to be the worst McDonald meal I have ever tasted. The fries were so cold I had doubts they had ever been cooked. Such that an attempt to eat them was giving me severe indigestion. To add to the insult the hot chocolate barely warm had little if any flavour. This occasion definitely deserves a thumbs down. Sort yourselves out Caernarfon.

Uno de los lugares más raros que he visto. Distribución muy pequeña. La mitad de las mujeres llevar redes de pelo pero la mujer que sirve las patatas fritas no vale por un número de otros. El hombre en el que creo que hasta para ser el director era grosero y no saber qué era teally haciendo. Él estaba distraído por otras cosas mientras intentaba tomar nuestra orden y parecía un gran problema cuando pregunté a swap. Es difícil ir de vacaciones y todo el mundo habla un lenguaje diferente. Es claro que si no eran locales no eran importantes. evitar.

El personal es muy grosero, no modales literalmente tirar la comida. Estado aquí varias veces a lo largo de los años. Este restaurante siempre ha sido consistente es malo. Es sin duda el peor mcdonalds he he visitado y he visitado los seres en todo el Reino Unido. Recuerdo la bienvenida amigable y asombrosas que he tenido en todos los demás que has estado a Mcdonald's. También hay una cosa que podemos garantizar, no te vas a encontrar aquí. Recomiendo este lugar y pase va a Bangor!

Pedir era una tarea, el operador se confundió con hasta el 6 comidas que pedí. El agua del grifo en el baño salpicados fuera del lavabo y húmedo me y en la planta. El paseo en coche por un diseño extraño y no es bien presentada para los peatones. Al salir tienes que cruzar el carril de tráfico. Mal planeado.

Great McDonald's. Always very friendly staff. Very quick service, even at busy times.The car park is a bit to be desired. I think I re-surfacing could've done.Also clearer signs of no turning right on exit.

Called into the drive through just for drinks ...mocha and latte coffees. Cost a few pence short of £4 for both. Drove 5 mins to our picnic sight and the drinks had separated in the cups. Obviously made with premixture and water added. For the price I would have at least expected a quality product made with real milk not some premix, weak and disgusting. I have bought coffee at other McDonalds in england and always considered the coffee very good. What ever has happened to the quality? Maybe its just the drive through making a large profit on something that probably cost less than 10p per base spoonful. So, with regard to the hot drinks, we recommend customers buy elsewhere.

Very convenient location. McDonald's is always cheap. You get what you paid. Staff are mostly local and friendly.

Went through the drive through with my partner and order a BBQ chicken legend meal with coke and a wrap of the day (peri-peri chicken) meal with coke. After paying and being told to go to a parking bay, we waited 25 minutes and when my partner went in to ask for our food, they told him they forgot about our order and quickly scrapped up something in the back for us. He got his chicken legend in poor quality and the wrap ended up being the wrong one (garlic mayo) and the food wasn't even hot, just 'warm'. When he arrived in the car, he soon realised that we didn't get our drinks so I had to go back in again and ask for them only to have the whole staff looking at me and someone say 'someone do their drinks then'.Not only am I disappointed by their food and service, but also in their lack of consideration. Not even the slightest apology was given to us for our wait and mess up with the order!

Used the drive in facility . Ordered two burgers one with cheese the other with no cheese . Happened to check my burger before I entered the main road only to find that BOTH contained cheese -despite the fact that there was a sticker on the box saying no cheese ! Furthermore there were no milkshakes available whatsoever on the premises!!! Not a good experience/visit -very disappointing

I went here with my Hubby on a miserable (weather-wise) Monday lunchtime (and because there was a 25 minute wait for food at the nearby Morrisons). The small car park has a one-way system. We ordered a Big Mac meal (large) and a Piri Piri Chicken wrap meal (regular). Service was very quick. The food was standard for the price (just over £8). The staff were welcoming and polite, particularly the lady who was clearing the tables.

This is a great mcdonalds, the food was great. The service was fast and great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend again.

The food as you expect is pretty standard here but we asked for bbq sauce in the drive thru it was on the screen at the order part when we wnet through we drove to bangor peir to eat and relax only to find the sauce was missing (not the first time seems to happen in a lot of there stores) when i checked the recipt it was not even for our food it was for someone elses.

I like McD and have travelled the world with them. This one in Carnarvon is excellent. It was super busy and no one waited. Staff were efficient, friendly, cheerful and the place was very clean. Buns, burgers, wraps and chips were very very fresh and while I know they all should be the same (and they're not) the Mocha frappe was excellent. The best Macdonald meals we've had outside the USA.

Sorry to say I have been to many McDonald's and this is the worst, the staff need training and the service is so slow!! Saying that, it is what it is.

We called in on our way through Caernarfon for a loo break & a coffee. There was a lot of staff on so service was quick even though the restaurant was pretty full. Only drawback to the restaurant is the small car park & difficulty getting out

Visited this Mcdonalds on various occasions, by far the worst Mcdonalds have encountered the car parking is just awful so small if there is a queue for the drive thru then there is no way of getting out of the car park you have to literally queue up and wait. The food is very average cold burger buns and when having a drive through being handed individual fries and burger with no paper bag and very confusingly looking at them why the food wasnt bagged as it was to take away and obviously were sitting in a drive thru were being told to have your food in a paper bag you have to pay 5p per bag.. talk about taking the 5p bag charge to far i then advised them nowhere else in the whole of north wales that we had stopped off had charged us to put our food in a bag... rubbish mcdonalds totally not worth queuing up for

We took our kids here a couple of times on holiday, this place was always very busy but service was very quick, staff dont mess about here getting you served. Well done

Maccy D's, do what they say on the tin! I enjoy McD's not everyone's cup of tea. We were served quick, had friendly staff and got what we asked for. Can't say fairer than that. Plenty of parking.

its a mcdonalds, same food in every restaurant, nice food, friendly staff, quick service except for when you order a burger, I always have to wait for the burger to be ready, they never fill the fries too the top either, always half full

we visited this mcdonalds during our holiday and the service was brilliant, all the staff are friendly, especially with children. was great to be greeted in welsh. food was hot and fresh. our kids had a lovely time and enjoyed being greeted and given balloons. will definately be going again.

Visited the drive through recently - how lovely to be greeted in Welsh! The staff have fantastic customer service and they give the impression that they want to be there (unlike some fast food outlets that have staff that make it very clear that they would rather be somewhere else!). Food arrived quickly, the correct order was given and we were happy with the standard of the meals. Would happily visit again if I was after something quick to eat!

This is a typical branch of McDonald's that's virtually indistinguishable from a thousand other purpose built "restaurants" sat on A-roads and the outskirts of town centres right across the UK. It is in, or at least fairly close to, a largely remote area so if you're on your way down the Llyn Penisula or to South Gwynedd this is your last chance to grab a Big Mac but you'll be doing so in a place that has the same layout, decor, food and service as so many other McD's that you might forget just where you are.

We visited McDonalds on our way home to Anglesey from Cardiff, it was fair to say we were tired and hungry! We were greeted at the Drive Thru intercom by a friendly welsh voice, with a 'nothing is too much bother' attitude. As a welsh speaker it is nice to be spoken to in Welsh first, normally this happens after I have spoken English in a Welsh accent! I am not a Welsh nationalist but do like to hear the Welsh language being used and not just assuming everyone are tourists! The service by both the young ladies at the booths, the one who took the order & money, and the one who handed the order over were both friendly, chatty & pleasant to such an extent that my husband and I both commented on it! The food was as it should be, tasty & warm.

Efficient service. No frills Cheeseburger,chips and a drink-good standard and filling a need at lunch time.

The picture looks lovely, the bread is supposed to be fresh in a plait with spices, what you get in Caernarfon is a limp square seeded chheeseburger bun,, no spices, Yuk ! Nobody told me in the drivethrough that they did not have it, but they took my money just the same, and gave me a cheeseburger instead of a south african deluxe,. Always check your drivethrough meals in Caernarfon, they are wrong most of the time .

I shall be going back tomorrow to complain after ariving home noticing my order was wrong. THIS SHOULDNT HAPPEN IN A FOOD INDUSTRY!!!

Just a quick tea with the kids. Nothing special. Ketchup dispenser was empty. Mentioned it twice and it was not refilled in the time we were there. And what has happened to the chocolate milkshake? Yuck. Odd taste so I left it. No point in saying anything as i assume nothing would have been done about it.

The toilets are dirty. The ins were over full. The staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. Got my order wrong.

Have visited here a few times to eat in and take away. Restaurant always clean and staff friendly.When i have had a takeaway I always check the content as i have gone away numerous times with order missing items or burger notthe way we had asked for!
