McDonald's in Chichester

It's a good place like the other Mcdonalds. Yet it didn't have any salt or pepper to put on the chips. And the food did take longer then normal. As it normally takes about 10-15min max. This one took about 25min.

The location of this McDonald's isn't well thought out. It's on the edge of a very busy roundabout along with 2 other drive through places. Parking is very limited and getting in and out can be awkward. The staff are good and the food is what you expect.

Food was warm and yum, service was slow but that is standard now with McDonalds as they prioritise ubereata and justeat drivers which is just pure wrong!!!!

Shake machine was out and we got the end bits of the fries. I had to wait a few minutes for someone to acknowledge me enough to ask about the shakes. I will give them another shot.

Food took 25 minutes from ordering, table was disgusting, all of them were, food rubbish and spilt drinks all over the floor, table not wiped clean after last people had sat there, where ever you looked, place was packed, loads of people standing waiting for food, when I went to see where the food was there was a deliveroo guy stood there being extremely rude to one of the McDonalds staff loud so everyone could hear, they were arguing. When food arrived it was warm, and not worth the wait, my Oasis had no ice, and was room temperature, when it came to clearing out table we had no choice but to leave our tray of rubbish on top of the bins as they were overflowing, clearly not enough staff, toilets were disgusting too, will not visit the branch of McDonalds again.

Just off the A27 in Chichester. Perfect stop of for breakfast if traveling to the West Country.

Didn't get the full order no fries They picked and sealed the order i complained was told "not my problem" to send my complaint to uber who only delivered i advise not to order delivery if they get it wrong they will tell you "tough i dont care we already have your money"

Imogen gave 10/10 service had a couple of issues with an order but these were resolved quickly. Would recommend.

Parking in general and the click and serve is awful at this location. Avoid, everyone going here seems to have no idea of the size of the vehicle, can't park and in general, a nightmare location. All bays should be marked with click and serve numbers.

It's a McDonald's. It's fast food, reasonably priced, conveniently located.

We get an early breakfast here most weekends. Order on the app and pick up. It's always been good. Staff always pleasant and polite bearing in mind they have probably worked all night

Pulled into drive in, got cold white uncooked fries and a foul stale tasting mayo chicken sandwich, absolutely awful, I could take it back and I was on my merry way to storrington.

The most worst service and food. This is my first ever experiencewith the McDonald’s. Responsible staff. They gimme bacon in a chicken wrap with the seal of no bacon.

Poor and slow service, wait of half an hour for food, and allergy items were still included. Couldn't have been worse.

Absolutely appalling seem to always forget food wouldn’t surprise me if they have given someone a empty bag, staff and mangers need to remember when people order something means that they want it and not okay to just forget things, least just double check they have the whole order before it goes in a bag.

This McDonald's is okay but it is just average in my opinion. Fries can be cold, and the food is just alright. I would only stop in here if I fancied a quick maccies after going to Tesco. For the fat population of chichester I would say definitely but for casual hungry people go to Nando's or smth. Cheeseburgers can be a little messy and fries a little tasteless. Great place in terms of cleanliness though.

I walked up to the McDonald’s that is listed to be open 24 hours mind you I previously called to see if the lobby was open 24 hours as I do not drive when I got to the McDonald’s it was locked and they were still doing pick up orders and drive-through orders and an employee came to the door and spoke to me and told me that I couldn’t walk in and purchase food because they didn’t have enough staff that day it was very disappointing to know that I couldn’t get McDonald’s because I didn’t drive.

I have never , ever left a Mcdonalds review when my food was cold or missing, errors happen but… if you want your food sneezed upon this is the place to be. 07:07 am on 17/01/2024 I witnessed a member of staff sneezing all over the chips area and neither managers told him that maybe bhe should would cover his mouth.

Come here for my morning coffee. Toffee latte - 5/10 times turns up as a regular latte - no toffee about it. Not that tricky to get wrong 50% of the time.

Crowded, cleaner and faster. McDonald's Chichester has come a fair way recently. 😋

Considering they have a very young workforce, some of them work really hard and I was especially impressed with impeccable service from a young girl called Mante. Keep up the hard work! 😉

Driving around mcdonalds in the areas looking to just get a milkshake this is the third one to be shown as open on the app and on Google, driven from Bognor to here to find they're open and the staff hanging about, just like Bognor Regis store.

Decent McDonalds, a bit quieter than some and actually has sensible layout for drivers. Good stop off on the way home from football.

Not sure if that was chicken Mc sandwich or fish but it was disgusting. No taste whatsoever and it was just vile and fortunately I ordered coffee to wash it down

Food took ages and when finally back to my car half of it was missing and the rest was luke warm at best. Latte was completely cold, went back in found my missing meal which was cold just sat on the side. New meal had to made. Server then disappeared I saw my replacement order made but no one would deal with it as they knew nothing about it. About 5 minutes later my original server reappeared and gave me my meal which was not particularly hot. Staff on phones and completely disengaged, server calling out order numbers was so quiet and with music quite loud no one could hear what she was saying. Never again...

Yet again, from this restaurant. Missing items from my order. A pain when I'm collecting a family order, to be eaten at home, 7 miles away.

Absolutely NOT a good place to go for (slow and cold food)....supposed to be 'fast food ' but it was terrible! Placed order, went to pay - 'no chili chicken wraps, sauce not done'. Appalling and it was dreadful. WE LEFT...DO NOT GO - IT'S RUBBISH!!

I went to dinner there and came across a completely unprepared team. I saw two Uber delivery drivers being treated poorly and humiliated by the team. They should be prosecuted, even I felt badly treated in this environment.

Ordered only a double cheeseburger meal and a plain hamburger. Made me wait in the car for an unprecedented amount of time when I was in a hurry to get home and do nothing. Not happy at all but I will return as it is McDonald's

If I could give this place no stars I would, every time there is an issue, wrong order, not given what we’ve order and the constant wait. Plus you get a delivery of your stock and it sits outside for all to see and vermin to eat

I don’t normally eat McDonald’s but to day was cold so I pop though the drive-through this was at 10 in the morning I got served straightaway and was greeted by two lovely people which made me feel welcome. We had a laugh and a joke. It was very nice when I went to pick my food up lady at the window was very polite very cheerful and very helpful five stars to this staff thank you for my experience.

Stopped off here with my family to grab some much needed food and drink en route to a concert in Brighton. We used the drive-thru which was really speedy and the staff at each section were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately we had to park up in a waiting bay for our order, as not everything was ready. Literally within several minutes a really nice team member came and found us and delivered everything plus the much needed serviettes and tomato ketchup dips! Very happy customers and overall a great McDonald's that was super convenient with friendly staff on duty. 👍😋⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We do not live far from this branch of McDonalds, we probably order once or twice a month, every now and then we may order several times a month, depending on if we can be bothered to cook or not. Last night we were late home so decided to get the family a McDonalds. Everytime we order the exact same things. I always ask for a plain Chicken Burger and my son always asks for a chicken burger with no mayo. In the past year the amount of times that the people cooking the food have got our order wrong is much further than ridiculous. It’s like they employ people who can’t read properly. So last night we ordered about £30 worth of McDonalds for our family of 5. Everyone’s meal was fine, apart from my plain chicken burger which had a massive dollop of Mayo, more than you would ever see in any burger on the planet, it looked like someone had cum in my meal. It was sick. I almost threw up every where. Outrageous. We will never eat another McDonalds as long as we live. How can you keep getting meals wrong. An order is an order, it’s not hard to read a screen and follow basic instructions. This is probably the 20th time they have got our meal wrong. It’s too much. You can go to any McDonalds in the UK and you’ll never have this problem, but this McDonald’s at Portfield road is beyond a joke. They just cost McDonald’s a family of 5 as customers for life. Not even my kids want to eat it after seeing my burger. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Wow what can I say , we came to maccies tonight after our home Christmas light switch on with all our neighbours. Your staff member Amy who had crew trainer on her top was amazing , she was good with our kids had phenomenal customer service and was just generally a breath of fresh air , we all felt warm and and cared about tonight. Thankyou Amy , If you can't give her a raise please an award of some sort because she was outstanding. From the Humphrey family.

Had a meal from here the other day collected and ordered via Drive-Thru service. Although it was quite busy I didn't have to wait for long. Order taken swiftly and correctly. Staff serving on the day were very friendly and polite. The only thing I wish they put in the take away bag is napkins but I didn't ask for them either. Will visit again sometime.

The drive through constantly get orders wrong. I've frequently had items missing or orders not correct and all you get is a 'sorry'. Very frustrating when you've driven home to then discover one person has part of their meal missing or incorrect.

A good pit stop on way from a day's shopping

Staff all standing around having a chat when loads of food was ready. Got given the wrong order for a food delivery meaning I had to go back only to be told I should have let them give me the order - they DID the first time and it was wrong! Then watched a teenage girl super slowly pack a bag of drinks (I’m talking three minutes to stick a sticker on a bag) and then I had to basically tell her to do her job when she couldn’t fine the other half of the order - I literally had to point it out to her. There were rubbish bags all over the floor in the restaurant. Had to step over bags of rubbish to get the orders - health and safety hazard. Manager gave me a dirty look when I kicked the bags out of the way and looked at her with disgust, only then did she ask a member of staff to take the bags out. Even then he had to have them pointed out as he was walking around with his hands up saying he could t see them. Basically no one cares and the whole place is run by college and university students.

Absolute shambles. The worst restaurant in the world ever. Unless you have a car after 11pm you can forget it. Pathetic and a joke. Security staff even telling you to move on. Don’t ever go here, it’s so poor. Disgraceful.

Pretty speedy considering how busy it was. "Philly cheese steak" pretty good. Fries were hot with a nice amount of salt. Chilli cheese bites are excellent but really remind me of some I have had elsewhere! 😎

Disgusting the place was dirty not 1 table that didn't have rubbish on it ! All bins overflowing , food wasn't any better

I am so annoyed is an understatement ordered my meal at 6.01 pm on 27/10/23 sent to carpark over 30 minutes later still no food so had to ask 5 minutes later the food comes out, silly me I drove off then pulled over to check I realised my 2 toffee apple pies were missing so had walk back and then waut another 10 minutes for the pies. Got home and they had left a nugget meal off too, plus the pies were burnt. This isn't the first time this has happened.

I have no clue how McDonalds took the idea of fast food and made it slower? The food takes longer these days, the food is nowhere near as hot as it used to be, they are saving money by no longer having people to take your order, you now use the automated order process, I appreciate they still have a working till occasionally staffed. Perhaps it’s just me?

I ordered a cheese and bacon flatbread I’m pretty sure a slice of bacon bit cheese in a bit of bread doesn’t take 20 minutes to cook and for it to look like someone stamped on it ……. Shocking! Staff are slow as anything maybe give them an energy drink. I dread going here now it takes so long to get something to eat

A good place to grab a burger or meal. When busy it can take a while before you get your food.

Placed an app order for delivery .Had it delivered by Uber . When opened the delivery all the fries that was ordered was not in the order ,phoned the branch up they told us to go through the app to get refund , but tried this but could not get into the appropriate area on the app . They also tried to put the blame on the delivery company . In my eyes yes Uber delivered but McDonald's staff pack the orders . So with this I had to go to the branch show the delivery receipt and told them the issue . In the end they had to give us the fries which should have been in the delivery

Nicely laud out store after a recent refurbishment. Food arrived promptly, hot & fresh. Great coffee ☕️

By far the worst experience of any mcdonald’s breakfast is advertised as being served at 5am arrived around 6am and was told that breakfast wouldn’t be served for another 20 minutes so we waited by the time we had ordered and got our food it was pushing 7am they blamed it on being under staffed but how hard is it to make a mcmuffin and a few hash-browns

Drive through closed .... only 2 screens working inside, massive Q and very under staffed. After a long wait for an order screen gave up !!!

Pretty good as far as McDonald's go, very clean with friendly staff... when it's open - for a supposedly 24 hour McDonald's, it's luck of the draw whether it's actually open after midnight including the drivethru, which is especially frustrating somewhere like Chichester where there's literally nowhere else to go if you want food as everything else is shut by midnight other than the petrol stations on the dual carriageway. I've lost count of how many times I've been here to get food after finishing work in the small hours or after coming back from a roadtrip etc simply because it's the only place that's open without driving to Bognor or Portsmouth, only to find that it's not open - frankly calling it a 24hr McDonald's is false advertising.

Ordered veggie meal and 2 mozzarella stick share boxes and mozzarella share boxes were not there, called McDonald’s and they told me to complain to Uber eats despite the fact I used the McDonald’s app, then found out there is no way to contact Uber eats about it, and have not had any sort of refund.

Poor quality food and service. Chips undercooked. Really disappointing and the third bad meal had here in a row over the last three months. Not up to Mcdonald's standards. How are they not acting on sorting this out? Real brand damage being done here.

Staff need training . I order a morning porridge and a coffee ( quite a complex order I know ) no syrup in the bag for the porridge no napkin no sugar for the coffee and no spoon or stirring stick . This items incredibly are all behind the counter so need to be offered or given as a matter of course to people. Definitely avoid this McDonald’s until this is covered by a staff training day on how to deal with such complex orders as mine . All in the bin as I had hit the road and couldn’t turn around. Eating porridge with your fingers isn’t an option and McDonald’s coffee is so bad it’s just about drinkable with a few sugars so a waste.

Although there are many bad reviews, I personally don’t think it is too bad. First of all we went near closing time and we still received warm, fresh food. There was many helpful and kind staff and were especially kind to my kids. Would recommend.

I ordered on uber ended up being an hour to get my food and when it arrived its all cold and the ice cream is basically melted

We came at a 24 hour drive thru service at around 2am in the morning and the staff had closed the drive thrus when we went to thr front entrance we saw thw staff making burgers. But the staff refused to serve us. Very disappointed.

This Chichester drive through is the worst in the country out of all of the ones I’ve ever been to. No matter what time of day you go the queue is always slow and long regardless of how many in queue. Staff are so slow service is awful. The worst!

When I was at the drive thru a lady who worked there was angry at me for saying you got something wrong and shouted at us then a different worker said we were swearing at them

The girl didn’t seem to be able to take a simple order at the drive thru , when she was asked what was she doing as she was adding on items to our order ,( we were only having 2 breakfast muffins and 2 coffees and pancakes ,) she had a hissy fit and turned very rude and nasty very quickly , she was asked to clear the order and start again and she started to shout saying she wouldn’t take the order , another member of staff took over and took the simple breakfast order with out any problem , won’t be returning there again . Looks like that girl did not want to be working there . ( also looked like she had attitude with the car in front of us too ) .

This is by far the best McDonald's we have had. The food was freshly cooked, cooked properly and hot! Thank you - just what we needed after a trip to the beach.

I was literally just telling my husband how, in many, many years coming to mc donalds, I've never had a positive visit like today!! It's my daughters 5th birthday today, but staff didn't treat us differently because of this reason... the staff didn't know. My daughters only wish for her birthday was to go to the beach and sit inside mc donalds and have nuggets and icecream. Which we did. We arrived to mc donalds in Chichester, I noticed pokemon colouring sheets, so I grabbed some, but noticed no crayons. So I asked the lady in the shirt and tie, if they had any crayons. This lady went out of her way to find some for my kids! She came back with loads and the kids were so happy! I was too!! Next, I ordered my kids food and the man who served me was so incredibly lovely! Wish I got his name! But he was awesome, he asked if the kids wanted a book or toy, I said toy. Waited a short while for the kids happy meals, they arrived with a book so I went up to the desk and asked if they had any pokemon cards I could swap the book to... again the lovely amazing man went out his way to find me some. The lovely lady said "oh you dont have to stand there you can go sit down and we will bring them too you", im heavily pregnant so this was music to my ears! There was none up front so he went out back to search for them! After a while he returned and we was so happy! Then it came to ordering my kids ice creams for the journey home, I went up with my autistic son who didn't know what ice cream he wanted... while my son took a long time thinking about this, the lovely lady didn't get annoyed, she just simply waited and smiled. Finally we ordered 3 mc flurrys and walked back to our table to wait. My number got called out and as I was walking to collect them, I heard that lovely say "oh make sure you give them napkins because the kids might make a mess" This was the cherry on the top for me. Absolutely amazing staff!! All so lovely, all deserve a mention and a massive thank you for making my daughters birthday perfect. But I stupidly forgot their names!! So thank you to the lovely lady, and the awesome man who served us today! X

This MacDonalds is always very busy. The drive through can be quick. It does have extensive seating inside and outside but often not too clean when busy. They offer the full range of UK MacDonalds products here at the normal price. Expect to wait about 15 minutes for food here if sitting in as they prioritise the drive through.

App said get £5 off when you spend £15 but it didn't work and the staff would not honour it. Sure there is some laws against this. Is it called false advertisement?

Paid for a big mac meal got give a cheese burger meal

Ordered a big mac meal, some cheeseburgers and a BBQ double cheeseburger meal through the drive-thru. When we got home they had missed off the big mac and put in an extra cheeseburger instead. Food was also cold. Not impressed.

Not the best McDonald's. Been three times recently on my journey. Their milk shake machine has been out of order all three times (or they can't be bothered to clean it). Twice they have forgotten to put dips in with the mc Nuggets (even though I asked for ketchup). All three times I have had to wait 10 to 15 minutes at the drive though. Luckily I have spotted a KFC is also on my journey so will skip this place in the future.

i asked for a double quarter pounder with cheese, without pickles snd onion. and yet when my oder finally was ready it turns out to be a quarter pounder with cheese not a double and without sauce! and the drink was a chocolate milkshake which wasnt even mxied.

Good and consistent food and service

Pretty standard maccies on an a road, a little small for just how busy it gets but overall good service and standard McDonald's food.
