McDonald's in Dacorum

Dropped in for a black coffee to take away. It took 8 minutes to arrive. When I took off the lid when I got home (a 5 minute drive) I found I had been given a hot chocolate. How difficult can it be?

Waitress seemed busy talking behind the bar with other staff, had to get up a few times to get her attention. Friendly enough once she came over. Food was fresh and tasty.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to, the staff is very unfriendly and keeps ignoring you, they didn't give me my smoke bbq dips which I paid for, when I asked for them the Indian guy checked my receipt, when I asked for some salt and pepper he turned his back and left , when I got to my table I realised that I had a big Mac missing went back and the same individual very unfriendly gave it to me, the food was cold, I don't understand how, it wasn't even 2 minutes since I picked it. Won't visit this place again.

I took a work colleague for a quick eat-in Burger. We ordered a Meal Deal Quarter Pounder with Cheese. The Burger meat was over cooked & rubbery. The whole thing was luke warm. The chips were also well below 'hot' & very floppy/soft. Overall, this was a mistake which won't be repeated. I wish I had complained there & then but it's always embarrassing whilst your friend/colleague is sat their waiting.

Friday afternoon. Most of the tables were dirty. The staff were not very welcoming. Delivery drivers had priority over walk-in customers. The chocolate milkshake was gritty and my strawberry milkshake was watery. Don't think I would return to this McDonald's

🥺🥺🥺🥺I've visited this place last week for 2 times both time I'm disappointed. Service is absolutely horrible no matter you never get you food right always something is missing in your order. Waiting for food is double then normal time. So highly recommended do not visit this place unless if it's necessary.other then that fine nearest branch so you can get your food right 👍

Stopped at the drive thru last We came here last night. No queue, put the order in straight away, paid, but after receiving our drinks, were re-directed to the order-waiting carpark. Our milkshakes were runny so we took them back and were told (after serving it) that the machine was playing up. Given replacements which had also melted. The food was brought to the car but was warmish, thrown together and overall, very poor. Shame as the staff were friendly but there was oo much for them to do - with restaurant, drive-thru and delivery service. They need either more staff, or to concentrate on just 1 or 2 options done well, not 4 done poorly.

‼️ PLEASE AVOID ‼️ I decided to go to this particular McDonald’s and ordered a mean by walking in. I ended up waiting 1hr for my meal. Absolutely outraged and will never go back to this McDonald’s ever again. Please if you wish to have McDonald’s go to any other one, NOT THIS ONE! I know it’s a longer drive but I guarantee this will be quicker. Don’t make the same mistake I made!

Best mcdonald’s ever! was served by hollie and she was amazing at the job. someone should promote her honestly she deserves to run the place! was a great time with the grandkids they loved their nuggies

Plenty of free parking. Ordered food inside to take away. Staff were pleasant. Order taken quickly. Had to wait quite a while for food. Ordered the the big cheesy burger with bacon meal. Short drive back home, burger was cold, fries were warm. Had to reheat the burger in the microwave. Was tasty.

this place was awful there manager is horrible we were asking a question and they called the police on us cause we were laughing cause we didnt get why she was getting rude. AWFUL PLACE🤣🤣

Fast and Reliable. This franchise is great with fast, reliable and friendly customer service. The food is hot and fresh and of a good standard.

It's mcdonalds but some are better than others and staff here always nice and helpful so it's a good one.

I always enjoy my meal here. The staff are fantastic. But of course none of this detracts from the facts.. I had an awful experience at this store this morning- when I checked my breakfast order of pancakes - there was no butter or syrups- on asking for these the shift manager Sali said out of the window all of it was in the bag as he had done. I parked up and checked properly and there wasn’t any. On going back to the window to tell them this and ask for the butter, he came out and checked the order on my passenger seat arguing that they were in there. He as good as accused me of lying and commented about paying extra. I followed him in store and asked if I could speak to the manager. He is the manager - I asked for his full name and supervisor details. He refused- and would only say Sali. He was rude, couldn’t admit he made a mistake, and insinuated in a full store I was dishonest. Appauling experience. 10:15am 17/09/23

Called and spoke to a women about what their ordering was like to do with the monopoly, claimed she couldn’t understand me and couldn’t hear me then went to get her employee for help and they was both laughing and sighing down the phone to me saying sorry we can’t help then proceeding to laugh, very rude very disapointed

Finally a McDonalds that can do a decent Vegan burger. This one looked like the one in the advert. Super impressed!

Took ages. Half the menu wasn't available. Gave my meal to someone else and took ages again on a replacement.

Something I'd ordered and paid for was out of stock and replaced with something less expensive. Staff member wasn't very helpful or communicative - felt like it was a chore for them to be there talking to customers.

This McD's is the business. Always fresh, hot, plenty of stuff in the burgers and wraps, great chips. Friendly staff too - keep doing what you're doing!

Sometimes they are a little bit slow to answer on the drive though (can be in the region of 2 minutes) even when quiet - but otherwise a great local McDonalds and the staff are friendly.

I don't really like macdonalds but after a 230 mile drive I would have eaten anything but putting that aside the restaurant was very clean and tidy and the food nice and hot and it was nice inside

The slowest McDonald's ever. Always be prepared to park up when using Drive-Thru, even if you've order via the app 20 minutes in advance.

Despite bad reviews, the food is always very clean and fresh. I have been here around 5 times now and always eaten inside. Would recommend for kids also, plenty high chairs, colouring and tablets to play with.

compare with McDonald's in jarman way , this one is nowhere near , the hot chocolate are tasteless like water , caramel ice frappe those ice are not crush properly , and drive thru staff with no manner , avoid this , Jarman way near tesco is your best option

Food is Maccies, the same around the world. The wait was atrocious, over 10 minutes and the done in area was filthy and hadn't been cleared or clean for a long time.

Small McDonald's. There's a better one in Hemel. But this is a convenient location.

Front counter Kim made mistake after mistake in serving. Ordered milkshake & Frape with extra caramel. She serves me extra barbacue sauce. Call manager but took so long & by the time he came we found that we ware served coffee taste instead of caramel. Poor

Not to bad a place , a lot of people in today at 13.30 hrs had to wait for my Big Mac but only about 7-8 mins ! The place was very clean , tables etc cleaned as soon as customers left , easy to order on the machines and to pay for, get the order number wait at the pick up desk, then eat !! Loved it !!

This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. It's incredibly slow, and has always run out of items. Avoid if you can.

The food was okay but this particular branch is over-run with early teens. When you've stepped around and over all the bikes dumped at the door, you'll struggle to find a table as they're all occupied by kids making a milkshake last two hours. Best avoided unless you're just getting takeaway or using the drive-thru.

Rubbish.. food is not fresh and you grab the food into your hands and you can feel IS awful and service inside is too busy to actually listen to you.. I asked for refund (money) and they gave me another 💩burger.. not even the same what I have ordered. Well, I will not eat anything there anymore. The worst in Hemel for sure!

Where do I start... Before I do.. Aspley, Jarmans Park and Bourne End Services are ran by the same franchise. 1. Few weeks ago, I bought a meal with a apple pie at 5pm.. ate the meal went for the apple pie only to see the discard time was 15:30..! (Bourne End) 2. Just now 8pm. Bought meal, just about to eat apple pie and guess what discard apple pie 19:30..! Make sure your apple pie is in TIME..

Hot food, quick service & didn't wait long.

Probably the worst MacDonald we've ever had... Slow and rude service, spicy chicken sandwich was overcooked and pretty awful, chips were cold. Simply awful. #notoself AVOID

my chicken nuggets were cold and my chips were boiling, food has multiple hairs in which were not mine or my friend's whom i came with. employee was rude because we got different table numbers when sitting at the same table

If I could give zero stars I would . Our food was freezing and bag dripping in grease . My young son choked on a massive bit of egg shell that cut the back of his throat and turns out it was 3 huge bit of shell in the roll ! Absolutely disgusting

I made a mistake with my 400ml coffee, the Boss was nice enough about it.

I have been to this drive-through multiple times and they are almost always running behind, leading to ling waits. You can understand it once or twice but not everytime. The main reason for going there is fast food and this is anything but that. The food itself is actually up to the standard you would expect once you get it. So no complaints there.

McCafe iced drinks have been unavailable for ages

Their app directed my order to them for drive through. When I get there not only they refused to serve the order I already paid, but they were impolite and unprofessional closing the window on my face.

Its a terrible McDonalds, the drive through experience - food is either cold or they get the order wrong. The place seems unable to be consistant.

In the fast food category, MC is faithful to its flavors, in every country I've been able to try. Young people and children love it. But like all fast food, we should consume it in moderation. The classics, especially the Double Cheeseburger, are worth it.

I ordered a straightforward hamburger and fries in the drive thru at lunch time and was asked to park up. After ten minutes I went back to the window and there was still no hamburger ready. Rubbish!

If you don't know what McDonald's is all about by now, I'm not going to tell you on here! It did the job it needed to do.

Was hanging like the gardens of babylon after my mates wedding and was in desperate need of sustenance. I proceeded to order what I affectionately refer to as the 'return of the mac'. This comprises of a big mac (minus the middle bit of bread) and a double cheese burger (remove bun and place into big mac) brought together in holy matrimony, not too dissimilar to the wedding. Basically it's a double big mac, but you know what? It saved the day. Big shout out to the lovely staff!

Very busy but seats were available and table service was really quick.

I went to this mcdonalds at 11pm in the drive through and had to wait over 45 mins for the queue to be dealt with. The issue I had was that 45 mins was 1 customer, why are they told to park up if it takes too long. Apart from that the actual meal was decent for once

1st and probly only visit but it was good, fairly quick. Fresh food. Job done

Food was excellent and a staff member greeted us on arrival, then made sure everything was perfect for us during and after our breakfast, as well as giving us some directions was a lovely touch - unfortunately didn’t get her name but she is a credit to the team!

Terrible service. Paid for food that wasn’t even delivered. Apparently if you order through just eat it’s not their problem. I have to wait for over a week for a refund. They literally stole from me!

Very disappointing. Ordered the chicken mayo, literally no mayo ! Pointless burger. Restaurant was dirty, litter on the tables, would not recommend unless you have no other choice.

Very positive experience at McDonalds Apsley today - something that Just Eat messed up for me the manager Amanda rectified immediately. Her and the staff’s kindness was amazing and they just proved that good customer service goes a long way. It meant that my daughter had a great birthday party with her friends and that they weren’t left without their favourite McDonalds treat!

Improved over my last visit, I gave a huge order which was totally correct when received, chap who served me was massively helpful and assisted me when I was carrying the huge order to my car, The car park was very busy

i ordered from just eat and the order address was wrong and when i tried calling the restaurant the number kept on saying that it was unavailable then the line cut off

Quick McDonald’s drive thru with the standard menu. Clean and airy space for seat in menu. Helpful and friendly staff. The manager gave use a free burger during the busy summer season. Recommend to friends and family for a quick meal on the go if in the area and bed to fuel up.

What’s happened to McDonalds Apsley, last time I visited there were no milkshakes and had to wait ages in car park for our order. Today gave them another chance, but went wrong again, gave us the milkshakes then again had to wait in the car park, finally got the order but when we got home fries missing. Grandchildren disappointed.

The food is the same as other restaurants. The service leaves a lot to be desired

This McDonald’s isn’t 24/7 despite what Google says. It shuts at about 11pm and staff aren’t very helpful about which ones are open 24/7. The service station one just up the road is great and 24/7.

Had a sausage and egg McMuffin from here today that made me violently sick less than an hour later

Very slow service, no seating available for eating in, asked one person where mcflurry was he said oh sorry I'll get it then went outside the front for a smoke/break so had to ask another person who ignored the request but got it from a 3rd person. They could see us stood with the hot food we ordered 🤷‍♀️ They were too busy sorting out deliveroo orders and it felt that people ordering in restaurant were an inconvenience.

Fish fillet burger dry as a bone! This is the third time in the last month or so! Clearly not fresh and can only assume they get like this because they sit on the shelf for ages! Should be thrown away!

Worst drive thru Maccy’s in Hemel. Today (22.10.22) at approx 6pm we waited almost 15 minutes in the drive thru when there was literally 2 cars ahead of us at the order intercom. The order was at least correct but by the time we had driven 5-10 minutes home, the cheese burger was stone cold to the point i had to microwave it (and probably given myself food poisoning) and the chips were undercooked and soggy to the point they also needed re-heating. The new Mc Crispy was thankfully pretty good, despite also being luke warm. I appreciate they are busy and all that BUT how hard is it to cook my food in the industrial oven/microwave for the correct amount of time to the point it’s actually warm to eat!? To be fair, the quality of mc donalds has definitely dropped in the last year or so and my expectations are pretty low so what did I really expect!?
