McDonald's in South Lanarkshire

Anyone know why you don’t get straws anymore? There’s not even an option on the app to order straws. They stopped providing straws for over a year now, at least give me the option to order one, I will pay no problem.

Make sure to got through every item you order if you get something to takeaway. I've had almost a tenner worth of stuff missing between my last 2 orders

Never get full order when doing drive through always something missing So check before you leave

Every time I come here I am asked to park. I can understand if it’s a burger with nothing on it but this is for a Big Mac meal and im asked to wait. It’s suppose to be fast food. It’s the only McDonald’s im asked to park and when the food comes it’s cold.

Ordered McPlant, didn’t come with the delivery. Tried calling 76 times (mainly user busy). Refund request was made to JustEat. A joke cause they added an extra 2 fries (medium and large, almost to compensate for no McPlant??)

Absolutely diabolical. Used the park and click service, waited half an hour, had to ask what had happened to it, eventually a jumped up little twerp came at me with attitude when I asked for my drink, only to be met with pure sass, informing there was no Fanta, I then asked for sprite, and he brought back a small, i advised it was meant to be a large and he walked away!!!!! DISGUSTING. NO NAPKINS OR STRAWS PROVIDED

Absolutely terrible service and order was wrong multiple times They got a banana and a vanilla milkshake mixed up

Orderd through app to pick up sitting one hour later waiting on food for then food to be missing from order to wait even longer food was cold , and looked put to gather by a toddler definitely went down hill macdonalds !

Consistently having items missing from orders and food is cold majority of the time. Place should be shut down

Beginning to think that paying for sauce is a donation to McDonald’s . I have had 2 deliveries and 1 drive through in the past month from this McDonald’s and not once have I received the paid for sauce I know it’s only 10p for currry but it is 70p for the sour cream and chive I know this is only a small thing but I even added a note on my delivery order tonight to please include my curry sauce to no avail . Ah for the love of the elusive curry sauce 😉

Hands down the worst mcdonalds I've been to. Toilets were disgusting, chips were cold and undercooked.

This is the tiniest mcdonalds ever i visted with my gran daughter during the October week and never again we arrived at the mcdonalds around 1:00 and there was not 1 table about 45 minutes later we came back and waited 5-10 minutes for a table once we finally got seated I went to order on the screen we got a mchicken sandwhich and a happy meal about 20 minutes later there was no sign of our order so i went to talk to the laddie at the conunter apparently our order never went through so i had to order up there now i never meantioned how i wanted a salad insted of chips after another 20-25 minutes our order came with the salad that confused me as i never meantioned about getting a salad my gran daughter got a milkshake and i got an orange juice i looked at the cups and i thought orange juice came in a bottel i asked my gran daughter and she said it did too so i opened the cups and one had the milkshake and one had coffee with cream and carmel i clearly never order that so went back up the lady at counter and as I did i heard 2 laddies saying it’s chaos in there ( talking about the kitchen where they made the food ) the laddie took the coffee back and gave me the orange juice after that my gran daughter wanted an ice cream so she order and after 10 minutes i went up to ask why it was taken so long as an ice cream usually on takes 5 minutes maximum the man said it will be and he never even started making it the lid was also not on the milkshake right when it was brought the table the toilets aren’t visible as well my gran daughter nearly walked into the kitchen thinking it was the toilet never again

Where do Micky Ds get those delivery drivers from. They should train them in good manners. Extensive training required.

Not cleanest of McDonald's around. Tables and bins full of rubbish and no one around to empty them

Was here yesterday told to take a space as usual and wait on the food. Waited 25 minutes. An employee then came out asked us what we had ordered. Went back inside and brought the food out. Food was freezing. Absolutely clueless the lot of them. They are lucky I didn't go in and launch it at there brainless heads. No wonder they work for McDonald's not a brain cell between them

Ordered a meal to take away. BBQ Mcrispy missing Happy meal freezing Double cheeseburger look warm. Fries freezing. Dog got well fed. Absolute shambles of a place.

Don't order via app from this place!!! I ordered a mcdonalds from their app and the delivery didn't turn up!!! Ordered it at 330pm on Monday, set address to my works address as previously done before from kfc and 0 hassle! Order was accepted etc said had been delivered! Checked 4x with guy on reception and each time said no nothing from mcdonalds at all!! Contacted ubereats and awaiting on refund however will take 15 days!!! Other colleagues have reported that their food hadn't been delivered either from this mcdonalds but have used justeat and got there's from next town over which has been delivered!

Very busy and order was not delivered properly. No tables getting wiped. Quite expensive and disappointing

By far the worst McDonald’s there is. Every time I’ve been here including last night it’s taken over 30 minutes to receive my food and I also received a females strand of hair to go with my chips last night.

Just visited this place Slow service at drive through Charged for a bag with out asking Had to park up and wait for food again Got food it was cold boththe burgers and fries No salt on fries and stone cold Burgers as dry looked like it was flung together But then again this is now becoming the norm at these so called restaurants Total waste of £18 You live and learn

Still a wait at drive-thru. Your given your coffee, ice cream and once again the usual is stated by server, "Take A Wee Parking Place And We'll bring your meal out. Result. Cold Coffee, Runny drinkable Ice cream. This place is needing a total shake up.

Used the table service, and the server made the experience all the better, thank you your a star

Headless chickens would be the best way to describe the staff in this premises. Couldn't even get the order right after waiting 20 minutes for it. Better training might enhance the experience slightly.

This place can never get an order correct don't know how hard it is for a plain burger and a happy meal always missing something shame I had to give it a start definitely not worth it

Place is operated by scotlands highest grade mongos, can't ever get anything right, if half the orders not missing, it's the 20 nuggets with no sauce... why make it a requirement to select 4 sauces if your not going to send them either way...

We ordered click and collect through the app took over 10mins to get food fries where at best like warm and disgusting, burgers slightly warmer but not the best, only good thing was the milkshakes

Have language issues and don’t understand the English language. Wrong items delivered. Wrong prices charged. Painfully Slow service so leave at least an hour of your day for this FASt food. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered 5 food items and 3 drinks from here, driver delivered 3 food items no drinks. With the receipt stuck to the bag clearly stating what should be being delivered. He blamed the restaurant, phone the restaurant they blame just eat. It's not just eat making the orders up it's the staff in the restaurant but they fail time and time again to take any responsibility for orders being messed up. So now we've to go without food and wait a few days for a refund from just eat that most likely won't include a refund on service charges or delivery, all because someone in the restaurant has failed to complete a pretty simple order. Not the drivers fault, not just eats fault, but McDonald's fault. Standards have gone drastically down hill in this particular restaurant.

Queue for the drive in was massive, had to wait nearly 20mins in the carpark for food to be brought out. It's a very busy place!

Not a family friendly place anymore , cluttered with dodgy looking just eat drivers , cant help now think for a 30 min wait till get food to my table , just eat drivers deffo took priority, maybe quicker to order just eat till your table if you want it quicker

Went to the drive thru and placed order of 3 happy meals with a coke zero, tea and a tropicana. Plus ordered a big tasty meal with sprite zero. Never got the tropicana and the sprite zero was actually sparling water. Couldn't go back as I was going to work. Never going back there again. Every time I go there, I'm always missing something. Need to retrain the staff. Waste of money 😡😡😡

Again this place never fails, another mcdelivery and items missing from bag, it's not the drivers as the bags are sealed just the carelessness of staff packing them more care and attention required with peoples orders

Went in at 10.30 this morning, still waiting 30 mins later. Priority was deliveries & drive through! Got a refund. Need a better system!

Apparently, the Hamilton Palace Grounds McDonald's is a drive-thru. Technically, I suppose it is because having waited at the order point for 2/3 minutes, we had to drive through to the car park & go in as all staff were standing at the front counter chatting!! I'd have left but my "chauffeur" was hungry. Dreadful service.

It's typically McDonald's. Friday night is wild so there is security. Check your orders to make sure they gave you everything.

The food here was wonderful as always the service by the staff is as good as it has been for ages but the atmosphere in a way makes me uncomfortable especially when I come in with my partner and we are both gay men and got glares and stared at by other customers and some staff I found that quite uncomfortable and makes me feel like I don't ever want to come in or sit in or even be able to show that me and my partner are proud to be in love even besides the fact we are both men.

This is the sevond visit and both occasions I am disgusted with rhe food and service. On these both occasions I ordered normal cola which was flat and tasted like it was diet. The chips weren't cooked properly. Ordered strawberry milkshake but it was just plain ice cream. For a fast food service this is appalling. Not happy

Asked for a slice of tomato on my crispy chicken burger and got it slathered in tomato sauce I AM DIABETIC and had to throw it away!... even though I double checked with the foreign girl who took my order, her English wasn't clear!

I had a great experience at McDonald's! The food was hot and fresh, and the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were helpful when I had questions about the menu. I especially loved the new self-order kiosks, which made ordering so easy and convenient. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back!

Arrived in car park and an employee tried to give us someone else's food before we even ordered... Tried to order and items kept jumping out the basket.. then made the final order got it through and an item had managed to escape again.. food came and the extras that were paid for weren't even in the order that was given to us... Food cold ... This restaurant should be ashamed of itself. Service was shocking! Staff attitude was shocking, girls in window laughing at customers! This restaurant needs full retraining!!

1 of the worst mcdonalds around, even after 8pm ur waiting 30 mins for ur order because of the gaggle of just eat drivers, fast food ur having a laugh wont be anywhere near the place again.

Items constantly missing from order. Operators not listening to order and not putting through, who's doing your orders? Last 2 times I have been there is no iced drinks...explain how you can let this happen? knowing how the weather has been you should be able to forecast a higher demand??

Waited in drive through, ordered and paid for meal. Moved to next window to collect meal. Was given coffee and ice cream then told to take a wee parking place. I asked for everything to to delivered at once but this fell on deaf ears and again told to take a wee parking place. Once the main meal was delivered to the car coffee was cold and ice cream melted and could be drank. Totally unexceptionable. When I complained about the drive through service I was informed by a staff member that if they keep cars in the car drive through too long head office is automatically notified about the length of time the car is in the qué which can result in staff loosing their bonus. LOL never mind the customers. Very poor idea indeed. This is in my opinion not a drive through service but a delivery service to your car. I have only experienced this at McDonalds located at Hamilton Retail park. Parking yesterday was that bad that customers asked to take a wee parking place were struggling to get a place to park and we're using the car park at the Pizza Hut. Tried complaint on McDonalds website. What a waist of time that was. Think we will be giving this drive through a miss for a while until they start thing about customers instead of staff bonuses.

I've been to a lot of mc donalds and a large amount of time there clean out side is clean not all the time but this one wow I went to day Absolutely grim out side a mess in side a complete mess all the Systems went down ,it doses happen but at least tell people but I dont think we will be going back to this mc donalds

Ordered my food and stood waiting on it. From what I can see you have 4 people standing round the hot point where there is multiple items of food sitting there and they are all having a conversation as if there is no food waiting to be bagged and handed to the customer. I work in the food industry and quite shocked to see how bad the service is at this store. And not even a thank you from the staff

Worst MCdonalds service ever in the UK ,I kindly request the officials to have an inspection up there because the service is absolutely ridiculous up this one and the staffs aren’t even nice feels like they are giving it for free and they are so arrogant,they don’t realise that the money paid is literally earned by us by hardwork

Staff could be clearer and friendlier at the drive thru. Didnt give us any dips for the mozzarella dippers or the nuggets.

Waited ages on our food.we were number 68. And they were calling numbers wel into the 70+ by the time we finally got our food. My coffee was cold as they got that part of our order ready well before the good.. we will not be back

Rotten service. The lassie behind the counter was looking for what I presume was the bbq sauce I ordered. Eventually she just shouted my number and didn’t even bother to tell me there was none or give me an option. My medium sprite was only half full and the food was barely warm. Won’t be back absolute disgrace of a place

Not everyone likes or wants to use self service aps ect and when you are standing waiting to get service do not smile and walk away as all staff do at many outlets. Try asking if you need serving, That smile just pisses customer's off and being ignored is soul destroying. And they don't always get your orders correct.

Finally got the chocolate milkshake back on.

Visited here on 13 March, and went through drive through. Order medium fries, cheeseburger and medium coke and was asked to wait in a spot as it wasn’t ready. There were about 10-15 cars also waiting, which should have been my first warning sign Staff aimlessly wandered through the car park with trays of food, no idea whose order was what or what cars they had taken orders from. 20 minute wait, my food arrives (cold), with no hint of an apology. Member of staff is away before I can even pass comment on the cold burger and seemingly raw chips.

Ordered through the app for pickup, drove through the drive-thru and was asked to park up. It was incredibly busy inside and outside, to their credit my food was brought out in around 5 mins. Unfortunately they forgot to put the 2 burgers in the bag, but I went inside and they gave them to me. Credit to the staff for the speedy service despite how busy it was. It was shoulder to shoulder inside and outside the queues were stupidly long. Only rated 4 stars as they forgot the burgers & the bacon on those burgers was undercooked unfortunately.
