McDonald's in Renfrewshire

So i thought i'd order a McDonalds from Linwood through Just Eat for a wee treat. Burger and fries were freezing cold when it arrived, and it only came over two streets, It was early, so told me it was cold when it left the esstablishment. No barbeque sauce with chicken nuggets, which was paid for, no straw with the drink and no napkins. Small fries, when large was ordered. The whole thing went in the bin. Not the best start to the week. Complaint went to Just eat and still awaiting answer.

Please!!! If I ask for a quarter pounder.. iwant a quarter pounder!!! Not a double.. they are horrible!! I am extremely clear in what i order and every bloody time you give me a double!! Not happy!!!!

Put the lad with virtually no English on the drive thru order taking ..... absolutely dead and still had to wait 20 minutes for two meals .......farce of a place always check your order before you leave as I'd say 75% of the time they get it wrong, rats in the bushes all round the place never been addressed, wont be back its a disgrace.

Ordered a delivery got it 1hour later was cold could not eat it sent it back tried to phone them as usual no answer will try later as I am fuming

Terrible service, visited at 1pm, took 25min to make menu order( restaurantnot very busy: definitely not fast food. Chips and burgers needed to go back as they were only luke-warm. Totally shocking

Ordered a big order on just eat. When it arrived my wife didn't get her dips I never received my whole meal except my milk shake my wife phoned up and the response she got was sorry to hear that contact just eat. Yea so we get a partial refund in 7 days. Wow. Workers at linwood mcdonald's should check every order before they send them In my eyes thsts at least a written warning even a sackable offensive . Forgetting 6 items disgraceful

Decent food , good service , bad atmosphere unless you like sitting around groups of neds and car enthusiasts

Got to walk straight up and order a tea rather than wait on the long que waiting on food, brilliant idea for us that just need a cuppa, well done

Yet again I have food missing from my order every time we heed food from here there is always something missing from the order and the staff just don’t care they are more interested in the delivery drivers orders so the members of the public get pushed aside there was a time when it was a drive through it’s more like a car park now with the amount of people waiting on orders THE OWNERS SHOULD TAKE A LOOK AT HOW THE PLACE IS GETTING RAN !! Or maybe they don’t care and just think of the money if that’s the case shame on you

No point in going through the drive through for quickness as I always need to park up and wait for my food .

If you want a smoothie don't go here they never have them. They've either got rid of the machine, it's permanently broke, or they've switched it off because not once in the months on months I've come here have they had them available. That isn't "just cleaning it" guys.

I just don't rate a fried burger over a flame grilled burger.

Unfortunately my order got lost in the system.... after asking about it after half hour it had been sitting at the side of the counter. Had to ASK for fresh order then they got that wrong a portion of chip's missing and also the mayo and lettuce from my chicken sandwich. Won't be back any time soon. Obviously some serious staffing issue's .

This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Apart from them being slow, the orders are never complete. Order 5 items and get 3 or 4 at best. Not impressive at all. CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY TRY TO HURRY YOU ON

Awful, they said it was delivered it wasn't ..got call after I called them,driver didn't know where he was going. Order very cold.Very disappointed!!

Had breakfast here and it was excellent. Good quick service

Food was as you'd expect from McDonald's. We had table service and food was brought to our table, with a smile. This restaurant was a little bit untidy and many tables had not been cleared off and cleaned. Air con was on and effective, which was a bonus on a hot October day in Portugal.

In for a burger, always good ....

Staff would rather stand around and have a chat, whilst there is not a clean table in sight and the floor is covered in food and dirt. Not a sign of management at all

Waited 45 mins for food, was freezing by the time we got it. Atleast 20 other people also waiting for 30+ mins. Didn't see a single person get their full order, burgers missing etc. Avoid the place until they can run it better, poor teenage staff having to deal with angry customers instead of a manager. Disgraceful

I have visited this establishment on multiple separate occasions and have many many complaints to make. I am outraged. To begin with i witnesses rats outside your premises (felt like a scene from ratatouille) to follow on I have seen a staff member spill bin juice on your kitchen floor and then not clean it up. Your other employees just stepped over it and ignored it. The germs and cross contamination is appalling. The lack of stock in the snack section, including ice cream and bakery foods is disappointing at best along with young delinquents who hang around your establishment causing trouble yet you just put an announcement over the tannoy and called it a day. You call that discipline ? On another adventure I was met with large families spread across the whole area ‘saving tables’ for others and being very loud and cheeky and neddy. Maybe you should not offer IPads but instead seminars on class, manors and etiquette for these ill taught children. It does not only end here as the ketchup and salt is never stocked, however I have noticed a slight improvement in this. The cheek of your employees who roll they’re eyes and get fed up when someone does not come in time to collect their number is disgraceful. In conclusion I am not satisfied with the quality and service from you and the establishment is a joke and yous are a riot. P.s your uniform puts me off my food.

This is the worst McD I have been in. No matter what time of the day or night awaiting time for the service is absolutely terrible. I would not call it a "fast food" when you need to wait for food for more than 20min. The restaurant can be empty you can see 4-5 doing nothing and you still need to wait 15+ min for your food. Ridiculous!!!

3 times now we have ordered from here and everytime its has been absolutely disgustingly vile. when approaching manager they give the i dont care vibe. staff not helpful at all very ignorant. just about all food was raw , chips,burger and selects. nuggets from happy meal were ok..

Just got a MC,crispy meal and 20 chicken nuggets and a large fries, never got my fries and half the bun in my mccrispy is missing tried phoning but got no answer, absolute joke of a place, won't be back

Pop in here mostly or other McD's depending where I am for a double espresso nearly every weekday as I like it and like to sit and chill in the car for 20 minutes. Not anymore, in the last few months it has went from 99p to £1.09 then £1.19 and I was today charged £1.39. All in 2023. I sometimes get a wrap or something but no more. Chancers.

Ordered on just eat wrote a note saying please remember apple pies but nope no apples pie the cookie they gave us was smashed to pieces the food was freezing

Find another McDonald's. This one will take too long, serve you soggy cold fries and almost certainly forget an item from your order. Been many a time and enough is enough. I prefer to go to the one at pc world braehead, another level entirely.

Very disappointing takeaway meal from this McDonalds restaurant in Linwood. The two meals we got were cold, chips were soggy and my large meal fries had half of them missing. Complained to McDonalds, which wasn’t that easy to do, and received a goodwill voucher which I won’t be using here. Can’t get my head around why McDonalds allows these kind of standards to prevail from such poor quality food. Off to KFC or Burger King from now on.

Become a bit hit or miss the past few years. Sitting in you generally have to clear up after last occupant & unless you get one of the older cleaners you feel like you're a 'problem customer' if you request a table wipe down. Food can sometimes be cold, the lettuce is definitely getting older and more wilted looking - sauce only covers so much! Half the time there's either no table placards for table service to find you, or the self-service menu selectors have run out of ink/paper to print a receipt.

The few times we have visited we have had issues either with wait times or cold food/coffee. Tonight we waited 20 mins for 2 Mcflurry's!!!! I won't be going back in the near future .

Prefer this McDonald's to my local. Drive Thru is pretty fast. Food is always decent

Waited 35 mins in my car for 3 McFlurrys after being told at the drive-thru to take a space. Ended up going in and they had no record of my order. Waited a further 15 mins for them and when I was given them they were pretty much already melted. Had obviously been sitting out for a while. Place was mobbed, no queue system in place, orders coming out and just sitting on the counter not being called so customers had to go up and say that's my order. Worst McDonalds in the whole of Glasgow, never anything right or on time and the staff just seem to be in a daze and uninterested.

What has happened to this place? So busy dealing with Just Eat orders they forget about their drive thru and sit in customers. Waited 20 mins in the carpark for two chicken nugget happy meals! Every car at drive thru was being told to park round the corner. Used to be the very odd time you were asked to park up - only if you were ordering something unusual, now it's every single time. Carpark full of employees wandering round with trays looking for correct car for their order. Got the order with no apology for my wait and when I got home the order wasn't even right!

Every single time we have ordered we have missing items, I don't think the staff have ever got an order right in 10 years , usually missing sauces ,straws,fruit shoots etc. And not to mention that the fries are almost always cold , I mean I know mistakes happen but every bloody time ??

Service was very slow and I had to chase the order up with one of the floor staff it seemed to be short staffed either that or they were on a go slow not so much fast food from McDonald's any more

Absolute joke !!! Waited for drive thru order, after 20 minutes had to go in to then be told they would have to redo my order?? Took another 10 minutes and no apology. Will be making official complaint as they cater for the Just Eat orders first. It's supposed to be FAST FOOD!!!!

Went their at lunchtime, and it was very busy, I used the drive-through and the staff who served me were friendly, I got a disabled parking bay as I have a blue badge and sat there eating my lunch of cheeseburger, fries and cola,I enjoyed my meal and then left.

Waited nearly 45 mins in drive through for food as order was lost now waiting for our order to be made again in was a £47.50 order

Waited over 35 minutes (along with many other people who's orders took way over 30mins) for two happy meals last night 🤯 asked the member of staff when collecting my order, what has went so wrong tonight and she said do you want ketchup 🙈

Efficient, fast to get through the drive-thru, food was fresh. Met expectations. The only challenge is the glass panels in the car park as you drive out - you can’t see anything apart from your own car, especially on a sunny day. I’ve had to do a few emergency stops…which I think is what the design aims to avoid.

Can never get an order right lately, ordered a few deliveries and always bring coke which is watery, no straws, no dips and cheese on burgers which the cheese has been asked to have removed. Useless! Three wrong deliveries in a row.

Worst McDonalds in the country, has been for years. If you've failed all your exams and don't have any people skills, this is the job for you. You'd be a perfect fit in amongst all the nomark managers. The inability to count up to two is a must.

A place devoid of atmosphere, service ??? Tap your order into a large tablet ( two feet from the counter) .... wait until your number is called ( in-between the Just Eat, Deliveroo, Food hub, Uber eats or any other delivery service) .... and have a bag dropped on the counter. Yup, I know its 'a fast food outlet' ... but could it be a BETTER fast food outlet ??? Half the time ( and this is NO exaggeration!!) Half the time the order is incorrect anyway. Obviously the mouth watering pictures of succulent burgers sitting on a bed of fresh lettuce with a hint of onions peeking out from underneath the lovely bun are like the adverts for video games. .... "This is not actual footage" ... meaning .... this advert is NOTHING like what you're expecting to buy !!! a lot like McDonald's.... when you open your paper bag to see a squished hamburger beside fries that have fallen out of the cardboard poke, and are scattered over the bottom of your bag ..... ah well ... you pays your money, you take your chances ... 😠

Absolutely awful experience - £70 order placed, then 2 hours later after querying it, order was showing delivered, but was not delivered. When questioned on two separate calls 13.50,pm and again at 16.30 both members of staff hung up, the first laughing as she passed the phone to the so-called supervisor. Still no order made or recieved. VERY poor customer service and no common sense or decency from either staff member. Very poor listening skills - a customer service course should be undertaken. Shocking

Disgusting service over the phone when quering a Just Eat delivery. After a 2hour wait they hung the phone up when discussing the issue. Called back to get a supervisor Susan who refused to give resolve issue and stated to pay again to collect the order. Just Eat issues are not there problem and refused to help, terminated the call again. Extremely unprofessional and disgusting behaviour to speak to anyone in the manner both them done!!

Have came to the conclusion the staff are just getting orders wrong as a wind up. 4 times in a row (no idea why I have allowed myself to ensure it to this level) I have driven home to find an item missing. This time the nuggets from a nugget meal.. really?!.... I get mistakes happen but 4 times in a row... I don't think that's a training issue.... This time it was worse after arriving at 4.25pm placing order for basic stuff nothing out the norm... we were told to "park up".... 32 minutes later I had enough and went in and collected it myself... drove home to then have to drive back. If its no sauce with the cheese bites it's no straws, the plain burger not plain or the best one to last no nuggets in a chicken nugget happy meal. Absolutely useless Just an update on this month's in. Gave it another go. Got order wrong again. Won't be back.

Really delighted with how professional and caring one of the staff members were through drive through last night. Came round wi myself and my daughter and I have never heard someone speak so clearly through the intercom and were also very patient when they were taking my order. Probably the first good customer service experience I’ve had with McDonald’s throughout my 40 years of living. Thankyou so much Alan, you are a great asset to McDonald’s 😁

Terrible..... Walked in at 12am as drive through was queued out the retail park .,. Used terminal 4 and waited. People had been waiting over an hour and waiting number system crashed and chaos ensued. Left at 1am with no food. Don't use Pheonix as...

No harm to the staff I've no complaints with that. The problem is this just eat orders are keeping the staff so busy that wait times are through the roof. Drive through is always packed.

Words can't describe how bad this place is. Starting with front of house, very ignorant and unhelpful. Getting orders wrong, long queues inside due to giving priority to drive thru and deliveries. I think it's shameful that customers taking the time to visit and made to wait in excess of 30-40 mins and then not receiving the correct order. Managers are hopeless and serve no purpose and the staff are equally hopeless. Front of house staff member JANE very rude and definitely in the wrong job. Will never be back again.

Absolute nightmare of a place had so many wrong orders from them and they don't seem to care about it. Just got home with four meals to find no frys. Best avoid this place and go to somewhere else near by.

The staff are very friendly and helpful the store it's self is clean and bright. The reason for 2 stars is the new layout is terrible with tables that are too high and stools too short for a child or adult to sit at. There is a lot of wasted space that could be used for seating.

Only had a drink as waiting to collect son from airport. Hot chocolate lacked flavour. Staff polite and place was really clean. Bench seating was very uncomfortable, could do better.

Put an order at Linwood MC Donald's I live 5mins from the place literally spent £35 pounds on order and took 30 mins to get here freezing . Phone manager not there fault.must be delivering guy..how can you manage. A place that can't manage to get an order To a place 5 mins from you warm is you don't Have the organisation skills to make sure when That the closest order is on top. Of bag or are They not that well trained. Won't waste any more Money there . Just to let world know I live in Ferguslie. check Google maps to see how close I am. So called management of terrible place I look forward to reply explaining how you can sell £35 of freezing cold food to a family but you probably won't answer

Cleanest and best run McDonald's I have seen in years.

order a happy meal, and cheese burger with no sauce! They had put ketchup in my burger, I went back and got another burger. WITH SAUCE AGAIN keeping in mind I spoke to the manger, and said I didn’t want mustard or ketchup but they ended up doing it again.. they also didn’t include fries in the happy meal, ever since McDonald’s have started using Uber eats, drive thru orders are now also messed up!

I have received the wrong meal from this restaurant over 15 times via Just in recent months, my most recent costing £30. Because of the frequency of this recurring error I've learned to check the meal before the driver leaves. I have the driver the meal back as it was again incorrect and called the restaurant. The manager was pleasant however the only solution available to me was to visit the restaurant where'd they be happy to replace the meals. I don't drive its too far away to walk at 10pm so have literally lost £30 because I can't provide just eat a photograph of a meal I returned to the store with the delivery driver. Total waste of time and money. The world has gone crazy and nobody is speaking about it. 1 or 2 perhaps even 3 errors is not good but understandable, I used to work for the restaurant myself its a busy place, but 15 times? Come on something is wrong with your systems or indeed your staff aren't paying attention.
