Excellent quality best place for great food.

Great wee venue. Just a pity there is no good pool players.

The food was fantastic, It was very busy but we didn't wait long for food or drink.

Great Function Room. Bar staff very capable to work with a full bar and extremely good natured. Buffet food best I have had in a local bar, sandwiches well filled, hot finger food exellent. I would highly recommend the whole experience. Lovely place.

Most beautiful meal with a friend on Friday, braised steak😋

Took my friend for lunch on Wednesday and it was amazing. The food is fantastic so I treated the hubby to it today, and it didn’t disappoint. Been 3 times in the last fortnight. I ve had the braised steak, the scampi and today I had chicken curry. Followed by sticky toffee pudding which was amazing. The staff are lovely too and special mention to gemma you are great at your job. See y all soon

Just back from a delicious yummy meal. Just wow !!! First time here in years. Served by a lovely young girl. Compliments to the chef !!! I had the scampi and hubby had the fish. Everything was to perfection!!!! We will definitely be back x

The drink takes way to long to come People being allowed to vape The floor wasn’t clean poor decoration My Fish wasn’t very good . Maybe in the future we can see improvement but I won’t be back soon .

My wife, myself and the 2 granddaughters (1 yo and nearly 3 yo) went for lunch. Great selection, superb quality and great portions. Staff very attentive and professional. Highly recommended

First visit for lunch. The restaurant is a bit dark and dated but spotlessly clean. I think the lack of natural light added to this feel. The menu was fantastic and the waitress very welcoming and professional. Our lunch arrived piping hot and it was very good ‘pub food’ No room for dessert as the portion was huge! Great value and although outside looks a bit bleak don’t let that stop you parking up and grabbing lunch!

Have been here twice in recent times and the food was great on both occasions. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lunch times can be extremely busy so be prepared for a long wait, once you've placed your order. You can't book in advance but there are lots of tables so getting seated shouldn't be a problem.

You have to be warned that you will not leave this restaurant hungry!! Even the 'starters' are so filling. Fantastic food and great service.

Great pub and well run with helpful staff and very good food. This pub has been around for a long time and moved with the times.So if passing through doagh or ballyclare don't hesitate to call for lunch at a very reasonable price. You won't disappointed with your food and drinks and will what to call again.

Called in here Monday lunch time with my wife,and had an excellent meal. Friendly atmosphere,service first class, reasonably priced. A popular establishment sometimes you my have a slight wait if it's bisy.

Nice place to go just found if you aren't a regular they don't come to you for drinks as quick waited 20mins for them to come to my table for a drink so when they did come I just asked for the bill

Fantastic grub great staff great experience

This place is a hidden gem. Great banter with great food. Get yourself a pint and pick a wee horsey bet while you wait on your beautifully created tailored grub. Can't beat the Alexander grill with pepper sauce.

Cracker wee bar and restaurant with super friendly staff and atmosphere. Had some great food and drink here and they have a great menu with plenty to choose from.

Great food excellent service and the prices very reasonable. Opens Mon to Sat at 12 midday so get there early to ensure a table.

Had a beautiful meal today. Brilliant choice on menu and very reasonable .the chicken Maryland was gorgeous garlic mushrooms are a must . Rhubarb and strawberry pie homemade pavlova was yummy .can highly recommend. Will be back

My family ate here yesterday for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The guy with the top knot was very warm, welcoming and friendly. He went out of his way to accommodate 7 of us in the snug and was very informative on what came with our meals. The food was very tasty and the food portions were great. Very reasonably priced- we will definitely be back.

Driving through stopped for lunch. Very busy for a Thursday afternoon. Fixtures and fitting a bit dated and worn. Friendly atmosphere, food was tasty. Food came as ordered and as described. If about here again would return. Quite an extensive menu for a small town.

I was put in the naughty corner this time, so now I have to say something nicer lol. Only joking !!! We sat in the side room, lovely quiet room, staff switched the TV on for us once we seated, treated us all like VIPs. Food didn't take long, it's so scrumptious - we polished our plates in no time as well as the desserts,it was so yummy. Staff is super friendly and a good craic, well done guys, keep up with the good work. I WILL BE BACK 😈
