Mazaydar in Dundee City

Another great curry, so pleased to have found Mazaydar. My wife always has the small Donner but cannot finish it in one sitting. 👍👍👍

Absolutely thrilled with my order from Mazaydar Takeaway on Fintry Drive! The Munche Box was packed with crispy diner pakora, tender chicken, tasty veggies, juicy chips, and golden onion rings, all paired with three delicious sauces. Great value for money! The new team taking over since yesterday is doing an amazing job – fantastic food and service. Highly recommend and will definitely order again!

Had the doner calzone and it was really lovely. Crisp outside and soft and fluffy inside. The doner meat was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend 👍⭐️

Ordered Egyptian kebab for the 1st time. So tasty and can easily feed 2 people..

I ordered the chicken tikka pizza, the base was paper thin and the pizza was so dry. I also ordered a large kebab with a garlic naan, a small kebab arrived without a garlic naan. It was not an enjoyable experience

Item was missing kebab it took them nearly 50 mins to replace. There was no real rush to replace the item it just went out as a normal delivery so had to wait even longer whilst the rest of the food went cold. Person on the phone didn't care just said they were busy so I ended up waiting for over two hours to receive all the items of my order. Would suggest going elsewhere for food.

The food is not tasty, they just put so much chili unprofessionally and also put the wrong dip in the delivery…Sorry but very bad experience

The meal was very tasty. I would have enjoyed some more pakoras along with the set meal but I enjoyed the ones I did get.

Late phoned the take away said they forgot my order and it was cold so they were making a new one be 20 mins 40 mins later it turns up, pizza is minging hardly any cheese freezing and dry. Donor just literally put on top no cheese on it, spicy chicken literally burns ur mouth off will never order again so disappointed

The lamb curry wasn't great and certainly not value for money

Delivery was 35 minutes later than initially stated it would be and 25 minutes after the "Driver on it's way" notification. When the food arrived it was cold

Had to throw three quarters away. Chips were old chips that were brown and soggy, donner meat was poor. I usually order from here a lot but I’m afraid I’m disappointed this time round.

Almost an hour late. Missing 2L bottle of Pepsi, sent a plain naan when I had paid extra for a Peshawari naan. What I did get tasted fine but not happy at paying for items I didn’t receive. The food was ok but wouldn’t order again.

The restaurant called at 7pm to say that they never had chicken wings and would we like anything else, We opted for Mozarella sticks and was told extra would be added it arrived and there was 6 mozarella sticks and 2 chicken wings. Mozarella sticks were nice but would not like to see what a regular portion was. Also told there was no coleslaw for the chips,cheese and coleslaw. Ordered Chips, Cheese and Tikka Masala aswell and it was about a table spoon worth of sauce with not that much Cheese.

Delicious meal 😋 we definitely will be ordering from here again!!

Specifically asked for no peppers, food turned up with a note saying they forgot about the no peppers, so knew about the issue and didn’t attempt to correct it. Was not even explained at the door either. Delivery time was as advertised.

Difficult to place the order for a meal for 2. Wanted 2 different sauces but got the same curry sauce. Not clear on the order form. Can’t eat my food as I can’t eat very spicy curry.

Food was horrendous freezing cold and greasy chicken nuggets where solid and chicken strips where chewy pizza where greasy the only good thing about the whole meal where the chips

The chicken dupiaza was really spicy and the chapati was solid

Delivery driver was lost (these things happen) he phoned me and I assisted him. This was already after waiting an hour for my food which upon opening is cold and soggy and the chips were falling through the holes in the bag they were. Got about 4 and a half tiny chicken pakoras which were also cold and soggy which for £6 is a travesty. Won’t be ordering again.

Food did arrive piping hot, however delivery was 20 mins after the latest time specified without the time being updated.

Curry’s were dead wattery and so was rice normally can’t fault this place but tonight was poor and phoned them there excuse was “rice has water in it”

This place is head and shoulders above any Indian in monifieth and the ferry definitely be back. Top notch

There was no panoramic sauce, ni onion chutney for poppadoms and ordered prawn curry which there was 11 tiny prawns size of my pinky nail, sauce for curry was nice but was like chips and curry sauce

After years of ordering from Mazaydar the quality has gone drastically downhill. Pakoras, both burnt and cold and the plastic container was meted through on the bottom. The rest of the food was just warm. Very disappointed, its time to look for a new Indian.

By far the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Burger was like my dogs rubber chew toy and then chips and cheese was a soggy mess. It all went in the bin. Disgusting 🤢

Karahi was soo tasteless and in whole curry there was onion and onion only with view pieces of chicken. Otherwise garlic chapati was very tasty.

Ingredients from other dishes tossed up together to create so called Currys and rice dishes not authentic at all, complete rip off and disappointing low quality meals at high price charges.

Should have been four meat variations? Only two! Delivered far too quick to be cooked to order! Naan bread is half cooked! Delivery driver looks like he loves his job? Even if you don't you smile!
