Marton Chippy in Middlesbrough

Ordered fish and chips for my neighbour and myself, delivered by a lovely lady very helpful thank you. we all enjoyed our fish and chip supper.

Under new ownership few months back the quality of parmo was very good.... Although last few occasions it has declined. Now tastes of chip fat. Standards slipping. Please get back to original standards or I'll stop using. Not that local for me as well so shows how good parmo used to be

Marton Chippy has the best Hot Shot Parmo and fish and chips! The Parmo is delicious, the fish is crispy, and the chips are perfect. Friendly staff and great service. Highly recommend!

Not happy with service given to my elderly neighbour who does struggle a bit under pressure. A woman pointed out they were very busy so needed to hurry along!! When I called. They denied this was said. I know who I believe. Prices up in time for Good Friday?

Put the prices up AGAIN for Good Friday. Food was rushed and horrible aswell. Chewy chicken. Won’t be coming back

Use Marton chippy often and really enjoy the food however i ordered food with scraps to be told no problem they then took my money. when preparing my food I noticed they hadn’t put no scraps on it. When I mentioned this I was told that I couldn’t have any as another customer had specially ordered the scraps. Never have I come across this before and won’t be returning unless I special order scraps what’s going on in this country where you have to order scraps

Amazing fish & chips - definitely the best in the area!!! Lovely, friendly staff. Happy for orders over the phone to save waiting. Cash only place, but there's a bank machine right outside!

Called in on the way past (we are not from the area) really fancied fish and chips but have been disappointed every time I have tried from any other place than our local chippy so I was apprehensive. The total opposite experience with this place! Fish was really fresh and beatifically cooked and chips are lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit!!

I was exploring for the best Parmo, and this is the place!

We gave it a try and have been a few times since, never been disappointed.

We use Marton Chippy regularly. Food is excellent. As a family we usually have Scampi, haddock, battered sausage, chips, mushy peas, gravy and garlic sauce. Previously had a parmo -its huge - kids parmo and chips ample for an adult. Always excellent food and service. And they deliver locally

Very nice fish and chips, one of the best in the area.

Had a chicken parmo tonight and wasn't disappointed, had a regular one and that fed two of us it was massive and very tasty, would definitely go back again, good value for money x

Not going back, what a miserable experience! I went in for fish and chips and felt like I'd bothered the staff! The women who served me was far from polite, in fact she didn't speak to be polite and then slammed down my box of fish and chips on the counter. Good Luck !

I'm sorry, but I got a fish and it was burnt really greasy and manky. Plus, they wrapped it straight in the paper with no grease proof paper and it just stuck to it. And the grease seeped through. Absolutely rank. Never again

Rang and ordered a large parmesan to be picked up, arrived in 20 mins and it was ready, drove back to stockton when we got home food was still piping hot and is the best parmo iv in a long while 😁

Chips were lovely but the butty could have do e with more gravy on it and not have the bun on the side with chips spilling out. Nice though and the staff seemed nice enough would go again

My favourite fish n chips, good price. Never had any problems. Got a Chicken Parmo once, it was delish.

Lovely service, quick, easy and amazing food. I always go for a parmo, hands down my favourite and only place I go for takeaway food!

Just had my usual Saturday lunchtime fish and chips and I’ve got to say they were lovely as per usual, that doesn’t mean they sometimes aren’t nice but they were definitely very, very well fried and tasty today. Thank you Marton Chippy..👍

Fish ok but chips too fat and soggy. Used their competitor in Coulby tonight and far superior!
