Lovely evening spent with friends. Great atmosphere, extensive menu full of delicious food, friendly staff.

From the moment we entered to the minute we left we were made to feel very welcome. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend the fish tapas. The fish was perfectly prepared and sauce tasty too. Fernando, the chef, came to check on all his guests and made sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely eat here again the next time we’re in the area.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had and certainly the best Moroccan food I’ve eaten. The portions were incredibly generous - the lamb and chicken was very tender yet beautifully spiced. The staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. The decor and atmosphere are wonderful - we will definitely be coming back and would 100% recommend.

We stayed in Louth towards the end of October 2023 with some friends and had dinner in the Marrakesh one evening. Our food, which included a shared mixed starter and main dishes ranging from meatballs to tagine to paella, was superbly cooked and beautifully flavoured. Owner Jedda has gone to great lengths (and some expense, I'd guess) to give his restaurant an authentic feel, considerably enhancing the overall experience. The menu is extensive and you would be very hard pushed not to find something you fancy. Highly recommended - just such a great pity its 130 miles away from us!

I have to say that this is one of those rare occasions when I didn't think all of the courses were excellent, yet I still gave the restaurant 5 stars There was just something about the place that I really enjoyed. My starter of houmous was really good, I absolutely loved the main of lamb tagine, chock full of incredibly tender lamb packed with flavour. I was undecided on whether to have the mixed grill or the tagine. The really friendly and helpful waitress recommended the tagine. It was a good call. The only negative to the meal was the dessert, in fact the desserts generally sounded uninspiring. If I'm honest the main was so filling I shouldn't have had a dessert at all...I was just being greedy. The dessert was alright...a chocolate pistachio cake but nowhere near the quality of the rest of the meal. The restaurant had great staff, good ambience coupled with authentic decor When I go next time, I just won't bother with the dessert

Fantastic restaurant have been here a couple of times and can not recommend enough. From the moment you step in even the decor and music are a delight but the food is outstanding. The baklava is also my favourite dessert. I will be returning when we are back in Louth.

After an hour and a half wait, the food finally arrived, lukewarm at best, only for some of the food ordered to be missing. On ringing back, we were told it would arrive in 10 minutes (as they were too busy), 20 minutes later still nothing. Called Marrakesh back again to request a refund, to be told the items we ordered would now arrive in another 20 minutes. We explained we had finished the meal and therefore calmly and politely said we would like a refund for the items not delivered (even though paid for). They then hung up on me and they have not answered the phone since, even though they answered every time previous to this. We used to be regulars here but service and food quality have dropped massively. Also, if you are so busy, why keep taking orders you can't cope with. Avoid at all costs if I were you. Tempted to seek advice from trading standards, given we have paid for something, yet not received it.

Never been to this restaurant before but so glad we chose to try it out . Fabulous meals lovely staff beautiful surroundings I would highly recommend anyone to go it may only have been our 1st time but it won't be our last .

My family lives in the village of Utterby. And myself and my partner have travelled up from Birmingham (family time over the bank holiday) We decided to try this restaurant 😀 and WOW are we glad we did!! The service & staff was so friendly and kind. The food was AMAZING. The taste and smell were stunning. I highly recommend 👌🏻 people to try this restaurant 😋 will definitely be returning....thank you 👍🏻

Just arrived home after a very enjoyable meal at Marrakesh. We have been coming to this beautiful restaurant for many years now & I am pleased to say that the standard of food & service has been maintained over that time. Many others appear to agree because when we left there was barely a spare table. If you like either Moroccan or Mediterranean food, then you can't go wrong here.

We have just had an amazing meal at this restaurant in Louth. Had a mixed starter which was a Good size for two people, then both had a tagine main (one chicken, one lamb) which were both fantastic - and a very generous size. The lamb tagine in particular was not just the best tagine I've had (and I've been to Morocco), but simply the best lamb I've ever had! So packed full of flavour and incredible texture. Between the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff, we can wholeheartedly recommend Marrakesh restaurant if you find yourselves in Louth and in need of a great meal out. Damn, that's some good lamb!!

Good food, excellent service and a nice atmosphere. Moroccan lamps, swags of material soften the ceiling, and there is soft lighting - so great for romantic meals. There were tagines, of course, but various other dishes were available, and we were given a complimentary flat bread. One oddity was a mixed grill which was actually not grilled at all, but cooked slowly. Tasty, but not what was ordered.

Great place, wonderful atmosphere and decor. Staff and Chef very attentive connecting with customers. Food is excellent, no small serving here so arrive hungry. Will certainly be visiting again. Highly recommended.

Quirky restaurant but delicious food well worth a visit. The royal tagline was gorgeous as was my partners mixed kebab. Oh and did I mention how reasonable the prices are excellent value

Oh dear, where to start. Slow service, ordered another drink, and waited nearly 20 minutes in the end checked to see if they had forgotten, I think they had. When it did turn up a bottle if beer accidentally got thrown over table, over food...

They've really gone for the Moroccan look big-time and it all looks a bit daunting on entry. Not very busy on a Thursday evening but we went for it. The menu is eclectic with traditional Moroccan dishes, Italian staples and random burgers all rubbing shoulders....

Struggled to find this place as it was down a side street. and first time we went past it was empty so we didn't go in. Checked it next night and it was full so we decided to book for our last night in Louth...

Absolutely loved this place and the food did not disappoint great portion sizes and it is very reasonably priced. The service was attentive and the décor is stunning if back in Lincolnshire will definitely come again if you want something different give it a try...

Can’t fault the quality or diversity of the food and menu . Not particularly busy for a Valentines evening, but service was “ steady “. Would go again though , and “ takeaway “ makes a good alternative option for the future .

Arrived a little just before 5pm when the restaurant had just opened. We received a warm welcome and the service throughout our visit was exceptional. The food was also amazing. In the top 5% for me.

Went on Saturday night with my wife and our daughter.Decor is a nod to Morocco with scented candles/joss sticks. Shown to our table, and drinks order taken by a pleasant waitress.We shared the meat platter with hummus ( which was very good) to start. Then two tagines to share, meatball-very good, and chicken-superb with flatbread and rice. More than enough for three, a bottle of decent with and cokes, and at £60 for three great value for well cooked food

The ambiance was nice, but felt that lip service had been given to Covid regulations rather than strictly adhered to. Nothing serious, but noticeable after visiting other restaurants in the area. The food was nice and the service was ok with the waitresses helpful and friendly. Bit of a problem paying the bill, but soon dealt with. All in all a nice evening but not one to live in the memory.

We visited this restaurant as a party of six ladies celebrating a friends big birthday. We were made very welcome by the friendly staff who immediately took our drinks order. The restaurant is magnificently decorated in traditional Moroccan style. The food menu is extensive and after ordering we were kept waiting awhile so was brought a large free garlic bread before we even asked which I thought was a nice touch. Our food arrived, all cooked to to our request as some were gluten/vegan. We had all ordered various tagines and they were perfectly cooked and so tasty. The service throughout was excellent and after paying our bill the chef came out to ask if all was ok, another great touch. Upon realising it was my friends birthday he offered free shots, put fez’s on us all and the birthday song whilst we had a dance. What a fabulous night. Thank you all for making it so special. Definitely a top recommendation

We arrived early for our meal, so we had to wait to be served but at least we were able to sit down at our table, which was appreciated. Service was fine, and the 4 of us chose one of the 'Tagines' for mains which were very tasty and plentiful. The restaurant was pretty full, so its' popularity speaks for itself. We'll definitely go there again when in the region.

Nice welcome but was sat less than an arms length from another customer. We had a bit of wall between the table but considering the restaurant had around another 8 empty tables we could have been sat elsewhere to maintain better social distancing. The food was nice, partners mixed grill meat was nice but rice possibly bagged rice. I had pasta dish which was tasty but chicken may have been frozen chicken cubes not fresh chicken. Chocolate brownie was tasty but the waitress forgot to bring me the glass of tap water i asked for at the same time as ordering dessert. She also brought over the bill but never came back to take payment, she stood behind the bar waiting for us to approach her, very strange.

Dropped into this place with my daughter and granddaughter and was blown away by the food, the surroundings and the friendly, relaxed service. We had the three starters - an aubergine dip, hummus, olives and gorgeous flatbread made fresh that day. I had a wonderful chicken tagine, with green olives and potatoes - very genuine. In fact I'd go as far as to say the best I've had outside Marrakesh itself. My daughter had an aromatic lamb tagine and my granddaughter goat's cheese pizza. All excellent. The chef knows what he's doing! The ambience is also authentic - beautiful Moroccan lamps with coloured glass, tiles and pottery: again just like being in Morocco. Music pretty good too - lots of Spanish guitar. The service was friendly and attentive. And of course Covid secure. Felt safe and clean. All in all top marks.

Amazing meal, really tasty. The decoration in this place is excellent; lots of Moroccan lamps and drapes on the ceiling, plus loads of gold baubles hanging from the ceiling! The staff were super friendly. I wish we lived closer, as this would become one of our favourite places to eat!

First time at this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Both of the dishes we had were awesome, and decor is wonderful. My only criticism is, we were the first in the restaurant when it opened, we ordered our food within 10 minutes and then waited 50 minutes before it was served, glad we were first ones in, one star deducted for this reason

The food here is simply outstanding. I can normally take or leave hummus. Not at Marrakesh. It was divine, as were the other starters (olives and an aubergine dip), and the bread had the perfect texture. For the main course, I had the lamb tagine, which was amazing: succulent, rich and full of flavour. This was one of the best meals I've had in ages. The service was good and COVID-friendly. A perfect evening.

If you want fresh tasty food cooked to perfection than this is the place.Fantastic menu that taste as good as it's reads. This is a lovely restaurant, very well presented and run to a high standard. The Mediterranean theme and sounds are very comforting. The food transport's you to that holiday memory. Don't think anyone could be disappointed on what this restaurant has to offer. Went here on holiday, harrisa king prawn and royal mix main for me and was great. Tasty and hot. Inside is beautiful and staff attentive.

1st time back since lockdown, and first time back in a restaurant so a little bit unsure what to expect. Plenty of precautions and sanitizer to use, felt comfortable that they were taking precautions and place was organised and tidy. Be back soon no doubt

Very hospitable on arrival. Good social distancing protocols in place. We were seated, menu provided and drinks served pretty quickly. Meal took a while to arrive but very much worth the wait. Absolutely excellent dish of Mediterranean spicy sausages. Will definitively return next year when I am in the area (Cadwell Park) for more of the same.

We have just got home from enjoying a lovely evening meal at Marrakech. Tonight is the opening night after a long enforced closure due to Covid 19. I am very happy to report that the food quality & friendly service has been maintained as we remember it from before lockdown but with the following covid-related changes:1. Before entering the restaurant there is a dispenser for hand sanitiser which you are encouraged to use.2. Staff members wear face-shields whilst interacting with customers.3. We were requested to leave our contact details with the restaurant (presumably so they can contact us if anyone attending the restaurant tonight reports covid symptoms at a later date).4. Hand sanitiser dispenser fitted on door into toilet area & further sanitiser available inside toilets.5. Good spacing between tables noted & a visible effort by staff to space customers over the full area of the restaurant.We are regulars & have been enjoying the food & hospitality at Marrakech for many years & would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Decided to have a Moroccan lock down treat from Marrkesh who currently offer a delivery or collection service. Harisa king prawn starter was delicious- spicy yet not to hot. The lamb tagine was wonderful- so full of flavour- quality ingedients. Rich aromatic flavour. Efficient ordering service via restaurants web site. House salad as a side is refreshingly different with diced apricots and pine nuts with leaves and an oil and lemon dressing. Reasonably priced for authentic quality Moroccan food.

The food was outstanding, the delivery was prompt and it was a pleasure to deal with them and the owner in difficult times.. I can't wait for lockdown to end so I can try the restaurant with my partner Thanks Paul

Haven't had such a good Moroccan meal since Casablanca. An amazing restaurant with authentic decor, great staff and truly fantastic food. Took my wife, on her birthday, and couldn't have chosen anywhere better. Can't wait to go back

Excellent moroccan food in Louth. Authentic premises and food! The decor is brilliant - best described as ' over the top'p ! FAB lighting. Great colourful swags ! Effcient and friendly staff and a lamb tagine that was excellent- lamb so tender and full of flavour. There is also a touch of the Italian on the menu with a selection of homemade pizza and pasta dishes - this is more authentic than you think- i spent much of the Winter in Morocco and most of Agadirs restaurants now have a pizza/ pasta section on the menu !

Visited for our 52nd Anniversary and we were not impressed . This is not our first visit but this is the 1st time that we have come away regretting going . The Trio starter is something that any visitor should try as it is outstanding . The letdown came with the main course of the Vegetarian Tagine which this time was tasteless and full of huge pieces of carrot , potato and courgette . Don't know if they have changed the Chef but it is not as good as it was before .

Just enjoyed an outstanding meal at a beautiful, friendly and great value restaurant. The lamb tagine was one of the best cooked lamb dishes my partner had ever had (and he loves his lamb!) and we have come away with enough food for the next couple of days due to the amazingly generous portions. Can't praise the place enough and we look forward to going back on a regular basis.

Wonderful restaurant with a menu which is pretty unique in the Louth/Lincoln area. A nice selection of drinks and food are available. I ordered the Lamb tagine with prunes and it was gorgeous. Additionally the service was great; a welcoming waiter who made an effort to chat with us as we were paying.

Tried it as it gets good reviews. Staff were attentive and appeared often. Food was piping hot had lamb was cooked nicely overall a good night . Decor was interesting morrocon style not sure if it's an Italian or Morocco themed restaurant. Got busy we booked no problems even asked to ear earlier which was no problem. Background music was just a tad loud for my liking worth a visit .

This is a nice place to come for something different to Chinese or Indian. There is plenty of room between the tables. Staff are very pleasent

Great experience had a great time. Had a starter of soup and a main of a mix grill that I couldn’t possibly finish because they give you a great amount of food. The food I left they boxed up for me so I could take it home and enjoy it all over again! My family loved it as the service was so good. They were so polite and helpful. The atmosphere was so good. It’s very cosy and relaxing.

Booked with Love holiday once paid them did not hear from them till I got back for rating. What a shambles could done with help at the airport as our driver was waiting way outside the entrance. Resort it self good for three star Aqua Mirage. Lots of area to walk not much to do on fold evening. Absuive bar tender everyone I asked for non alcoholic drink he became aggressive. We were on all inclusive. The guest manager three times made us wait ages like 20 mins even though his office was empty. The reception good but watch they us and when you they suddenly change their mind. Mrs asked for an iron at desk and they said when you get to the room ring when she did wanted here to do laundry,The food after 3 days felt boring. The trips by TUI we went excellent guide one of the best. Marrakech itself great lots to see and do. But pick a better place to stay and tour operators.

The food itself was delicious and there was so much of it, I definitely regretted deciding to have a starter and a main (I think I managed less than half of my main course). We had a sharing starter and they were able to give us half flat-bread and half gluten-free break. I then had the lamb tagine, with rice and yet more gluten-free bread - so much food, unless you are absolutely ravenous you'll be okay with just a main!

A lot of restuarants on first viewing look and sound good but on closer inspection fail or dont live up to the hype, this was not the case with Marrakesh, on entering you really are taken on a journey to Morocco, with fine decorations and a even silken tented area. The menu is possibly too wide ranging trying to cover all bases, but the sharing platter , my main of Royal mixed grill was very good and substantial, er indoors had a seafood paella which we both agreed was one of the tastiest dishes we had had in a long time, all washed down by a smooth Moroccan Red, at the end of the meal the chef took time to introduce himself to everyone and ask our the was, so if you want an Arabian night to remember get on your magic carpet and fly down there asap.

First time visit and we were not sure what to expect but it was fantastic. Really nice restaurant, friendly staff and really really good food. Would highly recommend the goats cheese bruschetta and the mixed grill. We will be going back soon.

Warm welcome, friendly staff. Starter (hummus) bit bland, given extra bread which was a nice gesture. (Mixed grill) was tasty but the lamb was tough. (Paella) was delish, (Spicy sausage) ok. Stunning decor, generous portions, but wasn't wowed with the food or the cocktails we had!

Oh my gosh the food was sooo nice! Came here with my partner this evening as the last meal of our holiday. The only disappointment was that we hadn’t visited sooner. We ordered the antipasto platter, kofta kebabs, bread with oil and the mixed grill. Everything was perfect. We even ate all of the salad as it was so delicious and usually we just see that as decoration haha. There was plenty of food for a really great price and the waiter was excellent. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back next time we visit Louth
