it always proves to be a fantastic experience. Lebanese food of the highest level, with a wide choice of hot and cold mezze, excellent grills. good choice of wines. You dine on splendid round tables, on the first floor of a small and romantic street in Knightsbridge. but it is the service that makes the difference: courteous, attentive, competent and fast. a must !

Very disappointed with this restaurant. It’s run down and looking very tired. The food was not freshly cooked. Falafels and bread were cold, sent the bread back for hot bread and it came back the same again. For a Maroush, this branch needs serious attention. Won’t be going there again.

I have eaten here for a few years now but haven’t been since last year, until tonight! The prices have risen dramatically but the portions have shrunk dramatically as well! Used to be great value food but definitely not anymore! The staff have always been rude and abrupt and we would tolerate it because of the fantastic food but I think this will be the last visit unless something changes!

We went for dinner on a Friday night and I thought the food was such a treat for the tastebuds - looked so good and tasted even better! Relaxed ambience, music and the staff were wonderful people- sweet and friendly. Will definitely come again and recommend to anyone looking for suggestions.

Unfortunately, this 1-star review is based on the fact that we didn't actually get to try the food. Booked online for lunch time and received confirmation email. Turned up a bit before booking time but after restaurant was supposed to be open. It wasn't. Door was closed and locked (there was a confused looking delivery driver waiting outside too who eventually gave up and left). While waiting, several apparent staff members turned up and had to bang on a side door to be let in, all pointedly not acknowledging our presence waiting outside the main door. Booking time arrived. Still closed and locked (and looking through window they didn't look like they were close to opening). Tried knocking. No answer. Tried phoning. No answer. Not even to apologise for running late. Booking time came and went. We gave up and left. If the website allows a time to be booked, and I book a specific time then I expect the restaurant to BE OPEN AND READY BY THAT TIME. And since this cost a long train ride into London, its not something I will risk again.

Terrible - the server is so rude! I do not recommend this restaurant at all. There are so many options, and this is not it.

Ristorante libanese a pochi passi da Harrods buonissimo. Super gentile l’accoglienza mi hanno permesso di cambiare il tavolo perchè sentivo freddo. Il cibo è ottimo. Lo frequentavo 20 anni fa ed è ancora buonissimo.

Very disappointing experience. If you haven’t been to the restaurant before, you won’t know where the seating area is located upon entering the premises. The host greeted us and asked us to find a table ourselves. We walked in not knowing where to go! Like a maze. For the price you pay, one would’ve expected her to follow us to a table! The food was bad. We had chicken cubes which were extremely chewy and hard. Left it untouched on the plate. Aubergine dip tasted of water. Lamb cutlets were 70% fat. The food didn’t taste fresh nor of good quality. We saw one of the chefs continuously eating whilst preparing food for the guests (!) This was an ongoing scenario throughout our entire stay in the restaurant ; his mouth was constantly active as he was handling food for the guests. Not coming back here.

Spur of the moment on a busy Saturday. They were able to seat us and that’s when the good started. Service was impeccable - so professional and friendly. Food was amazing - hummus with lamb, baba ghanoush, falafel, shish taouk, and lamb schwarma. The sauces really added to the already wonderful flavors. We walked home totally satisfied!

This was our go-to restaurant in London for celebrations - birthdays, anniversaries and the like. No longer. We booked to go in Jan 2023 and were disappointed all round. While the service was OK, the quality of the food has suffered for sure and is worse than average now. In addition there were no fresh vegetables or free baklawa as in the past. Worst of all though was the mens toilet which was, frankly, disgusting (and I am no shrinking violet), the light was flickering and the whole room stank and clearly hadn't been cleaned recently with water, or worse, all over the floor. Stomach-churning stuff really. It shows they've stopped trying. So, I have gone from a fan to a denigrator. The dream is broken - we won't be going back.

The welcome was great and staff were very accommodating, seated promptly with drinks ordered taking quickly to. Food was delicious and fresh. Only thing that let this down was the mens toilets need a bit of work.

Food quality: We had Shish Taouk and it was delicous. The quality of the meat was very high. Service: You have a welcomed feeling right from the beginning of your stay. Overall extremly kind.

Wow! Super friendly and courteous staff. We,be been there on a wednesday around 6pm. Seriously the best levantish food I’ve had for ages. Such a multi-layered taste. Worth every penny! We’ll defo come back!

We went to Maroush last night and ordered the £80 for two special menu. Absolute rubbish. The hot grill consisted of a few pieces of lamb and chicken. No sweets as they have had no stock for months. Do not go to this dump, which is still surviving on its previous reputation of many years ago. AVOID !!!

Booked a table for a birthday lunch. One of our party ordered a cup of tea which arrived without milk. Apparently they had no milk in the restaurant. They also had no seafood despite it being on the menu, no vinegar, no desserts whatsoever. Ordered 2 gin and tonics and we got charged for doubles even though we didn’t order doubles. The waitresses were unfriendly. Worst experience in a restaurant and we are regulars to Maroush but definitely won’t be going back. If they knew they had no seafood or desserts why didn’t they let us know when I booked or call to tell us before arrival. They even charged us 12.5% service. Do not waste your money by going there.

This restaurant is extremely overrated. I went there with my family and the food was horrible! The chicken in the chicken shawarma, which apparently is meant to be their specialty, tastes rotten and uncooked. The chips, which are apparently homemade, are also horrble. The meat is uncooked! The mango juice was so bitter, never coming here again!

Nice meal here. Lots of variety on the menu. Large portions. We ordered a main course each alongside salads and sides. On reflection we probably needed less meat. Would definitely return.

C'est plutôt à l'étage que cela se passe, le rez-de-chaussée étant voué aux repas rapides. Si l'accueil est plus tôt réservé, sans être froid pour autant,l'essentiel est dans l'assiette. Irréprochable pour l'habitué que je suis du Liban. On s'y retrouve tant par la qualité que, hélas pour les appétits d'oiseau, par la quantité. Très beau choix de vins libanais qui, chers au départ du Liban, se retrouvent à des prix plus que raisonnables pour Londres. Je recommande vivement.

my friend and I decided to eat something, looking on the map, we saw Maroush, and we decided to go there, and there a waiter boy came to us with a big smile and he ask how we feel, if we want to sit outside or inside, inside was a little busy and he offered to prepare us a table outside, he bring the menu,and he said would be back in a few minutes to get our order, outside a few tables but much better than inside, after getting a few orders he returns smiling to us and asks if we are ready, we didn't know what to order so we asked for a recommendation, he suggested to take a few starters and 2 main dishses, hummus shaorma it's the best, he told us if we want he can make it mixed with chicken and lamb, halloumi on the grill so tasty, my friend has some problem with gluten, so no bread, and the waiter ask if it's ok carrot sticks.

Beautiful food. Had the falafel, potatos, hommous. All spot on. Location is obviously very affluent and would definitely return. However all the staff members seemed very tired and un-enthusiastic and reading some other reviews seems to be a common theme. . .better staff morale and may have given a 5. But the food was so good a 4 is fair :)

No hello or welcome from the guy at the till. He didn’t even raise his head therefore gave totally zero eye contact.

Its always busy here. The food is typical Lebanese but avoid the Tatar (raw meat) dish. Otherwise, nice

Vine aquí por casualidad para una comida rápida antes de visitar Frida Kahlo Exhibition en la calle en V & A el sábado por la noche. Nos sentamos en el restaurante Bakehouse en el bar, como restaurante lleno; Pedimos 7 mezes entre tres de nosotros, y fueron raciones deliciosas, frescas y generosas. Muy aficionado a la comida libanesa, y esto era encantador. El servicio fue bueno y servicial y obtuviste pud (fruta fresca y baklava, algunas picaduras, no sé la palabra libanesa). Excelente valor a los 17. 00 por cabeza servicio inc. NOTA El bit de horneado no tiene licencia, lo cual estuvo bien para nosotros, pero es posible que desee saberlo.

I was never really a fan of middle eastern cuisine but was taken here by my son, who is a frequent visitor and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised.

We enjoyed a fixed menu for three and enjoyed six hot and cold meze and mixed grill, a roast chicken with fresh fruit and pastries to finish. All food was very authentic and extremely tasty too. I particularly enjoyed the Lebanese Rose we drank. Service was polite and very efficient . We will not hesitate to return. I would have preferred white bread but that’s just me...

Food is exceptional as is the Lebanese coffee. This is one of the few restaurants I will go back to multiple times on the one visit to London. Love it.

We have been eating here for years. Casual downstairs a bit more formal upstairs....... food is good on both levels..... just depends on the atmosphere you want and your dining companion ( s ). Great for a relaxed meal ....good service....... and great food!

I have been going to this place for many years, mostly after too many cocktails on an empty stomach when the shawarma bar on the ground floor puts everything tonrights..it is a bit of legend of a place, known to many ... but occasionally I like to take my time and eat upstairs in the restaurant. Lunch today was an authentic Lebanese feast, food fresh and tasty, beautifully presented and above all REAL. Ps The halloumi was insane - where do they even get that from, coz you can’t buy halloymi like that in any supermarket!

When visiting London, business or pleasure, I always try a pay Maroush a visit when in town. It’s a short walk from the hotel I stay in and nothing better than to pitch up at the service counter, jump on a stool and order a selection of dishes to graze on. My personal favourites, based on two sharing - get the breads and dips to kick off , share an amazing tabbouleh salad and then a mixed shawarma with more bread and the garlic dip - sat at the counter you experience the sights, smells and sounds of this busy restaurant - great for an informal supper!

I'm a huge fan of Maroush restaurants - I go to the ones in Edgware road all the time. I was in this area and was pleased to find a Maroush at 10min walk from my location. and I was with family and friends, and had told them about the amazing food I had before in other Maroush restaurants, and they were happy to walk and go there for our lunch. When we arrived, the receptionist ignored us, several waiters passed by us without looking or asking if we wanted a table. I had to go to a waiter myself and ask to be seated. When we finally got a table, I tried asking questions about the menu to a waitress and she screamed at me at the manager would come and take the order. I was so confused I repeated the question, and again, the waitress screamed the same thing, being utterly disrespectful and her colleague nearby simply ignored the situation. When we asked for the manager, he seated us at another table, next to the door, and as staff kept coming in and out, my family and friends and I got cold. We ended up just getting up and leaving, and going to another lebanese restaurant nearby. I was completely shocked and angry with this experience, as I've always spoken well and been a regular to Maroush restaurants in Edgware road. This one will never be forgotten. An absolute shame and embarrassment to the establishment. Never again.

Our American family visit london every year, and every year we go as one large group to Maroush for dinner.

Went here relatively late in the evening with a family of 5 for dinner and we had a great experience. They start you with a bowl of whole fresh vegetables. We passed it around, cut up what we wanted and made salads. There was a waiter or waitress coming every few minutes asking if we needed anything, if we wanted more to drink or order more food. The service was outstanding and all had smiles and positive attitudes. We ordered several dishes and ate family style. afterwards we stopped in to their ice cream shop on the ground level and got a couple cones for our walk home.

Amazing authentic food. The menu is large and the food is large portioned. The service is prompt and friendly. The place is huge and has multiple levels for lunch, dinner, sandwiches, ice cream and others.

Fomos almoçar lá num domingo e não tinha muita gente. Havia uma garçonete e alguém que mais parecia um gerente atendendo muito bem aos clientes. Num outro dia, fomos jantar. Era um sabado e havia muita gente. Alem da garçonete e do gerente havia apenas um auxiliar.O serviço foi lento, desatento, enfim... não sugere a ida lá para jantar.É minha unica ressalva. Good libanese restaurant in one of the most prestigious areas of central london. The prices are very good, three people eating well for £44. However, I must say that although the quality is really good is not as good as was a couple of years ago. The shawarma sandwich used to be bigger, better filled and served on time at the correct temperature. They must push to keep the standard that made them outstanding. I would go again and I would recommend it.

If you love Lebanese you must go here when you are in the area. The mezzanine is terrific. They give you a big basket of fresh vegetables to start. I love the falafel and the grilled chicken wings. You can't go wrong ordering the baby chicken and the pilaf rice. It's all good.

My son and I had a late night meal at this fine Lebanese restaurant. We have been going there for years. The humas, Lebanese bread and chicken wrap were fresh and tasty. My Ayran was authentic and delicious. It is a great comfort to go year after year and enjoy expected quality.

Ordered through deliveroo so cant comment on seating and service. Some dishes better than others. So a bit hit and miss. If you're looking for middle eastern food i'd go elsewhere.

This cozy Restaurant in Beauchamp place proved to be the best place to experience and enjoy Lebanese cuisine in London..I've been going there for lunch in the last few months and everytime the place kept the same quality and service standards I just cannot fault them on anything really(Great tasty food, good quick servic,tidy etc..). Great place to go for Lunch or Dinner they have great wines.. I'll definitely be going the for my lunch & family dinner...Well Done Maroush carry on...

Maroush at Beauchamp is a great restaurant. Food is very good and service has all the characteristics of the warm Arabic culture. Everything we tasted was exceptional; moutabal, bastorma, tabbouleh, wark inab bzeit, halloumi cheese, kafta meshini as hors d' oeuvres. Main dishes were abundant and cooked excellently; lamb chops, kibbeh, shwarma lamb and koussa warak inab. All these in a pleasant simple environment, with friendly and professional service and with large plates of fruits and Lebanese desserts offered by the restaurant. A great, safe choice.

What can I say about this place lovely cozy place with a great food, cannot help having their Chicken Taouk & Kafta grilled wraps on Lunch time and their amazing humus dip or Moutabal dip not to forget their Fantastic Fatoush salad & Tabouleh salad with Lettuce leafs. If you happen to be around Harrods Knightsbridge it's just round the corner in Beauchamp place go & enjoy the Best Lebanese cuisine can offer in London :)

Dinner at Maroush was an enjoyable experience.We booked in advance and were welcomed by the maitre d', who shows us to a table at the window.Menu was extensive and authentic: I chose falafel followed by mixed grill of lamb and chicken cubes. It was well cooked and nicely presented by the pleasant waitresses. A good Lebanese rosé accompanied the meal.A good restaurant and a reliable choice if you like Middle Eastern cuisine.

The maitre d' squeezed our last minute booking(2 hrs before) for a party of ten in -and still we managed to arrive late. (!Lebanese time) he was delightful and accommodated us at a perfect table- the waitresses were super- efficient but discreet. All the nuances in perfect Lebanese cuisine were there - we over ordered of course, and this very chic establishment were happy to give us doggy bags. Great atmosphere, great location, and I think we will be defecting from our usual Maroush (Gardens) to here. Special mention for the the tahini used, the labneh and makanek

Popped in, en route across town - desperate for good coffee. Really friendly service - Silwia was lovely and couldn't do enough! Delicious freshly made coffees at excellent prices. An Americano cost £2 and a cappuccino cost £2.80. The pastries and baklava looked delicious too.A really good find in central London.

I have been to both restaurant areas on two occasions the more casual one and the formal one.The food is the same and the quality of the service is in line with expectations this is good value for money and the shawarma lamb is among the best I have had outside Lebanon. The salads are fresh clean and crispy as they should be.
