Food tasted good, quantity was huge

It was very sketchy at first. The only thing i like were the chip the rest was horrible. The survice was alright

I am writing this review after a frustrating experience. I ordered from Uber eats. My food arrived in good time - delivery driver was very friendly and took time to explain a new menu / app to order from. Even a discount for our next order. I then checked my order and I was missing a shish wrap. Not a massive deal I’ll call up the restaurant and see if they can sort for me. I waited over an hour for a return phone call having spent a fair bit of money on a Friday night take out. I was basically told that the food was in the bag and I am lying. I run a local business up the road from the restaurant and we use you guys regularly. I feel this could have been resolved in a more professional manner. I would expect an apology and a refund for this food then I will reconsider and remove this review. As running a business I understand how this can be detrimental. Look forward to your response.

Good service, food is ok. Not 5 star but not bad either. Parking can be a bit problematic.

Nice place, popped in for lunch with a colleague had mixed salad for starters which was great the peppers and sauce were amazing. Mixed Shish for mains lamb, chicken and chicken wings with rice. Food was flavoursome and the rice cooked well, my only slight comment would be the food could have been a tad hotter but that’s just me. I like my food hot. Would definitely go back if I am in the area and recommend if you are.

Last night's meal was delivered 1 hour late and was stone cold upon arrival. We should have known what to expect when the phones were disconnected, preventing us from progressing delivery. I appreciate that valentines night is probably a very busy night for these guys but this was a very below par service and the food was not hot, not even warm. I don't normally leave bad reviews but we usually really look forward to the food from Marmaris and last night we did not eat it. Very dissapointing!

Absolutely awful experience. We ordered our food at 7:30pm and 2 and a half hours later is still didn’t arrive. We phoned them multiple times within this time frame and was told every time the driver had left the restaurant and would be with me in 10 minutes, they told me this every time I called but he never turned up and they refused to contact the driver. They were rude, unhelpful and when it got to 10pm and we had no choice but to cancel the order. Awful service, do not recommend.

Ordered food for our corporate work lunch and it was amazing! From the pre order to delivery, the customer service was perfect. Thank you - we all thoroughly enjoyed it!

This place is the best takeaway in Hemel . Services is great every time, quick and efficient.

Best restaurant in town to experience Turkish dishes. Me and my friend tried chicken shish, lamb doner they were so delicious and well prepared. Kudos to the chef Mohammed as we requested to make it spicy and did well. Friendly staffs and great atmosphere. Will be visiting again to try out different dishes.

Very good quality of food . A little bit more expensive than your usual kebab house .but definitely worth the extra. The meat was tender and and of a good quality not greasy. The rice underneath was delicious salad was fresh didnt come with pickled chillis but this didnt bother me in light of how much i enjoyed the food. sauces were made of yogurt and was delicious and of good quality. This was the first time i orderd here and will definitely order here again I order the mixed kebab for 3 whick i highly recommended. I never leave reviews. this is how pleased i was of my food i went out my way to leave a review.

Food is always fresh and nicely cooked with good sides included (especially if eating in). Service is good as well. Would recommend 👍

I always buy kebab from here. They always give extra for the portion size compared to other places. Best of all the kebab, It’s nice juicy and great treat for me at lunch time. When I need cutlery they provide it and always with a smile. Keep it up Mammaris.

Never order from this place. Over 2 hours and no food. Two phone calls and both said food was en route. FOOD NEVER CAME! Rang for a refund & the OWNER told me it was on it way and goodbye. This has now happened twice. So DO NOT ORDER A DELIVERY FROM HERE!

I’ve eaten in the restaurant and got a delivery, every time the food was fresh and of great quality. Would definitely recommend and will be revisiting!

Teribile food hygiene, all food was reheated. We got a platter for 3 people 54£ and they gave us left over chicken bits hardly any lamb and just filled the plate up with barley. We called the manager about this to comfort him, to which he said he cannot do anything about it as he says he has no time.

Turkish food is my absolute favourite so I was excited to dine at Marmaris last week. My friend and I went in and were greeted and seated straight away. We then waited twenty-five minutes for service until we had just walked out and went to Yala Yala. A gentleman came in after us and he was asked for his order straight away. Interesting.

Visiting from The States and my family had a lovely experience here. We tried their lamb shish, falafel, hummus, marinated olives, hellim cheese, sigara boregi, auburgine ratatouille and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. I have food allergies and our server, Ruhi, was very gracious in helping me navigate the menu. Highly recommend!

Ordered a mixed platter for 2 people and chips because there were 3 of us. So much food it will do for lunch tomorrow too. The food was really tasty and fresh. Will definitely be back

The Marmaris Turkish Restaurant was a fantastic experience especially the hospitality. Brooklyn provided a spectacular service and really made my family enjoy the food and Turkish experience. Pooped into Marmaris Restaurant yesterday for a quick bite to eat, immediately I was impressed with the excellent customer service and warm greeting. Initially I just wanted a quick snack but after looking through the extensive menu I opted for a full lunch. The lamb and chicken was juicy, succulent and well cooked salad as fresh as having been only just prepared. 10/10!!! Highly recommended for a quick snack or an evening meal with friends or family.

Order a lamb menu and found HAIR in it. Was long hair so not sure if they have girls working there. Anyway, awfull , awfull , awfull. Be careful when you order from this place. Never again.

Left a 2 star review 10 months ago decided to try again! Well it’s gone even more downhill I last complained about how the standards of food from salad was dropping after using this place since it first opened! No more grilled veg they used to put on top the kebab. The bread was dry and very stale tasting unlike when before it used to be fluffy and brushed with beautiful herbs and garnish! The salad no sumac and no pomegranate syrup like it used to. Just basic cheap salad portion thrown in a box. The meat is now a smaller portion with lack of any garnished bbq tomato/ pepper like they used to. I had a cocky reply to my last upload claiming that I caught them on a bad day last time we’ll seems to be twice now! Won’t be using again sort this out get back to basics. You have put your prices up but dropped your standards *0 stars* official unbiased review!

I used to order food from here so many times but recently ai find that their salads aren't always the same. Probably are made by different people each day but I assume that they should follow a recipe. One day something is missing from the salad, the next day something else. I buy it because I like to be the same always. The other reason I've gaven one star is the delivery. Now it takes ages to get the food delivered. I had to call on a few occasions (a few times for the same order) and the girl that answered the phone either had no clue where my order was (1.5 hours late order) or was like.... Oh is here. What had happened to you guys??! Please go back to how you were.

I have been coming here for years and it has always been acceptable standards. Lately, they have dropped. The meat is chewy and the salad looks and tastes like it was made over a week ago. I don’t think we will be eating here again.

Great food.... I used to go to Opus in town but in my opinion the food at Marmaris is much better.

Food arrived hot and very fresh, delivered by a friendly driver. The meat was juicy and tender and very flavoursome! The salad was lovely and fresh with plenty of shredded cabbage and chilli's. The bread was still warm and fresh. A very good quality kebab full of grilled flavour. Thankyou Marmaris, we will definitely be back! :)

Absolutely shocking I paid over £20 for five tiny prawns! If you’re going to charging this much for food make it make sense.

They no longer sell authentic lamb Donna. Its the kind of bready dry tastless stuff you'd expect to get off a van. Ordered a takeaway both chicken and lamb seemed like it had been warned up. Price has gone through the roof at the same time, most of it couldn't be eaten and went in the bin. Was also dissaponted last time I visited the premises for food. Won't order from here again. Shame in the past it was fantastic.

Found cooked ( bunch of sheep hair ) on my lamb shish !! Disgusting!! Put me off lamb forever badly!!! This was the second time I found hair in my food ordering from Marmaris!!! First time was a tick black hair on the chicken shish. I called the shop and explained the issue! The manager said, we’ll give you 50% off next time !!!!!! WTH!!! Seriously!! Customer satisfaction should be your first priority. “costumer satisfaction”comes first alwaysss!! it’s ABOUT FOOD QUALITY!!! Which I never get from marmaris !! What a WASTE OF MONEY! THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I’ve ordered. 2.3 years ago I used to order from marmaris and didn’t have any problem !! I guess the management and the chef is changed!!

Used to be really good the donnor here and it’s was quality meat but now it’s bang average stuff. Unfortunately I’m guessing it’s down to the cost of living but you can’t jack up the price and serve rubbish

Food was dry and rushed. Quantity for the mixed meze was poor. Restaurant was quiet with no background music. Normally the place is buzzing with takeaways and staff banter, tonight there was nothing, a shame. Will we return, at the moment unlikely unless the food quality improves.

Always wanted to try this place. Ordered two chicken shish and a lamb shish, a burger, chips etc and it just wasn't great at all. Old tasting chips and salad. Fatty meat. Such a shame and such a waste of money. £55 going in the bin. And the other people sitting here with me round the table think I'm being polite with this review.

Absolutely amazing food, doesn’t look all glam and modern from the outside but the food and service is superb.

Don't be put off by the plain interior - the food is excellent. Had a lovely starter of hummus, bread & salad (accompanied by some complimentary roasted vegetables). Main of Adana Kofte was very tasty with bulgar wheat. The service was top notch. Will definitely be going back :)

Spent the day at Harry Potter world and needed somewhere for tea. Happened upon this little gem by chance as it was Valentine’s Day and we hadn’t booked anywhere. I have to say we have eaten a lot of Turkish food and this did not disappoint. The food was fantastic the service was the same . We over ordered and with the complimentary bits too we didn’t manage it all but it was fab . I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Studios and locals alike .

Food is delicious! The staff are all very friendly, I was offered a beer last night as I walked in and needed to wait for my food. It didn't take long and the kind gesture was not expected! Will only use them for Turkish food!

Best kebab upto now. Working away alot i try kebabs all over the u.k. Breads, rice, meats all flavourful. Large portions could be a bit bigger for the price, but that price is sufficed by the flavour.

The worst kebab we have ever had!!! I mean the most expensive in HH comes with portion of salat, which is no much bigger then the pot where the salat goes!!! And don't get fooled with their new menu! Mixed kebab came with little bit of meat and full box of bulgur rice!! All their kebabs are just full of rice. Also if u order extra sauce, they charge for it...Never ever , will we buy our kebab here, and even cost of the kebab is double then all other shops!! I will put pictures of the food in the gallery. Do not buy seriously!!!!

Food was nice. Prices noticeably higher. New decor is terrible, white wash walls and bright daylight white office ceiling lights, not cosy.

This is my go to Turkish restaurant but recently I have been surprised by the change in portion, especially with the starters, the prices have gone up and the portions have almost halved. I paid £5 for a Russian salad along side my main dish and the Russian salad arrived in a new round much smaller container than it use to, which is just shocking for the price. Please don't get greedy marmaris, it's the downfall of every establishment.

Very disappointed, placed an order on Friday at 6pm to request an 8pm delivery. Called at 8.20pm to be told it was just about to leave the restaurant, waited and waited and called again at 9pm to be told again it was "about to leave". I then told them I was told this 40 minutes earlier and was apologised to and told my food was the next ticket to be cooked and ready to leave in about 10 minutes. Meaning the food I requested with 2 hours notice for 8pm wouldn't be leaving until at least 9.10pm. I had to call every time for an update, I cancelled the order at 9pm and was told they would arrange a refund immediately if I send the manager an email. 2 days later and no reply, no refund, no contact at all. I'm still owed £33.40, won't be stopping until you give me back what I am owed and have used Marmaris for takeaway and eating in many times over the years and won't be recommending or using again after this experience.

Six of us ordered a take away. The meat was beautifully cooked, with ample salad and bulger wheat. Delicious! Reasonably priced too.

Absolutely top class food which is extremely flavoursome and plentiful - we always have enough left over for lunch next day! If you’re looking for authentic Turkish food then you can’t go far wrong with Marmaris.

Im always happy with the food but not today. The house salad wasnt a house salad today.We got something similar but raw vegetables and no taste at all. We always eat with our meals together and We always fight for it.Today We left after tasting.Maybe just a mistake so I Will give another try next Time.

Great Turkish food! The orders for the takeaway was absolutely packed up (always a good sign for a 1st timer). Despite being very busy with telephone orders our food came out very quickly, the chef's special for 2 blew us away! Tasted amazing with zero grease and the Turkish Tea was to die for!

Beware!! Not good. Not a real keebab. Just little bits in a tub, that you have to make yourself.

Nice, but the portions are relatively small

This was my first time ordering from here considering I had always heard good reviews about it. First off the delivery driver came exactly when they said it would arrive - the first good thing about it. I ordered the lamb doner and fries; I struggled to eat all of it as there was so much but nonetheless really enjoyed it. Really good value for money! My mum ordered a vegetarian kebab and salad which she said tasted fresh. Again this was really filling and she couldn't finish it all either - despite really enjoying it. Really good first impressions of this place and will definitely be ordering from there again. Makes me miss our Turkish holidays!
