This is our favourite restaurant in Sheringham , really amazing food , brilliant friendly staff and a talented chef . The food is first class and really well priced

All I can say is Wow, having been to Sheringham many times, we had a recommendation to try Marmalades Bistro. What a fantastic experience, having 3 courses, each one for my party of 3 was fantastic (lamb and cheese cake were my fav). A real find and a place I will always visit when I come back. Excellent little restaurant, we rang up last minute on the off chance & they were able to accommodate us. The staff were very welcoming & friendly. The food was of an excellent quality, my husband had a steak which he said was the best he eaten in a very long time & I had the Chicken. All beautiful cooked, nice & hot and extremely tasty. The puddings were out of this world I would highly recommend the Sinkhole Yummy cheese cake, it was delicious. If you get the opportunity to go please do you will not be disappointed.

Firstly, we liked the atmosphere service and food. I can’t fault these. If cost is not a problem for you then I’d recommend this place. However, we felt the menu was expensive when compared to other top rated restaurants locally.

We live just along the coast at Weybourne. This is our go-to restaurant in the whole of North Norfolk. Food and service is exemplary. Booking is recommended, it can get busy. Get a table here and you will not be disappointed. Treat yourself

I cannot thank the team at Marmalade’s bistro enough! Ian (Chef patron) answered my voicemail requesting a table for a last minute trip to Norfolk for my girlfriend’s birthday and our first trip away post baby! We arrived at the restaurant to a warm welcome and a thoughtful birthday card for my girlfriend. Service was swift and enjoyable in this intimate restaurant, which has been decorated with thought to the surrounding area, I especially enjoyed the driftwood being used for a lighting fixture and reclaimed wood panelling on the wall. Food arrived at a timely manner considering this is a small restaurant with one (superb) chef in the kitchen. Both of us enjoyed our food tremendously, my girlfriend having the mozzarella chicken which was cooked perfectly and moist and I had the lamb which came apart easily when I cut into it. Ian made the lovely touch of personally coming to check on our meals and wish my girlfriend a happy birthday. We opted for the sunken cheesecake which was an interactive dessert and very tasty! There was a rendition of happy birthday sung by the restaurant and many good wishes from those inside which was very kind. Once again Ian came out to speak to us and also congratulated us for the birth of our child and gifted a bottle of rose Prosecco! All in all I cannot thank Ian and his team enough for such a memorable night and I hope our gratitude is known to them. We are already planning our next trip and are keen to hopefully bring our little one as well next time Ian! Andrew and Mollie

Amazing place. Staff are genuine and friendly. Food all great and very well priced, but the Felthorpe Lamb is some of the most tender lamb you will ever have. Have been twice and can't wait to come back for thirds!

What a gem! From the second we walked in the service couldn’t have been any better. Not to much, not to little - spot on. It was our 10th wedding anniversary and they made us feel so welcome, even giving us a card and a glass of Prosecco each. The food was amazing, steak was cooked to perfection and the flavours were perfect. We are quite regular visitors to Sheringham in Norfolk, and always have at least one meal at Marmalade’s Bistro, per trip to Sheringham. Our group invariably consists of 5 friends and we know that we will have a fantastic meal in Marmalade’s Bistro with the very good wait staff, who are always friendly and helpful. If you ask a question that the staff do not know the answer to, they will find out and promptly return with an answer. We all had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful meals, experience and atmosphere that we have become accustomed to at Marmalade’s. Keep up the great work, we look forward to seeing you next time we are in Sheringham, North Norfolk.

Omg, we havent eaten a meal that delicious for a long time. First time trying Marmalade after moving to the area and I can definately say we'll be back ! Incredible food, excellent service and a lovely vibe . I had chicken stuffed with mozzarella with a leek and tarragon sauce and dauphinoise potato's, soooo delicious , then for desert we shared a pineapple bread and butter pudding with toffee sauce and coconut icecream- my mouths watering just reliving it!😁 Well done all, can't wait to revisit!

Wow! This place is VERY nice!! After being unable to secure a table in September 2022 this year we booked well in advance to avoid disappointment!! The restaurant is small, intimate, cozy & relaxing. All the staff including Chef, who kindly came out of the kitchen to speak to the us as we were leaving, were extremely polite, efficient, helpful, friendly & personable. The service was at a nice pace, each course was delivered beautifully presented in a very artistic & modern style with an appropriate portion size. Both of us chose a special as a starter, the locally caught crab with chilli & lime. For mains we selected the stuffed chicken breast & the slow cooked lamb. Dessert was the sinkhole cheesecake & a blackberry panacotta. Every course was absolutely delicious, fabulously fresh. Chef had chosen high quality ingredients that were all cooked absolutely perfectly. We thought the price point was excellent for the quality of the food & the wine list was good. We absolutely loved every minute of our dining experience at Marmalade & when we are next in Sheringham we will definitely return….just wish we lived locally!! I attended an 18th birthday. The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was exquisite, My lamb just melted in my mouth. The waitresses were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning.

Have just had an amazing evening at Marmalade’s Bistro, Sheringham. We were a party of 22 celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday, Ian, Sarah and all the staff worked their socks off to make it a memorable evening. We have had a lovely evening at marmalades this evening celebrating a birthday with friends and family. The food was absolutely delicious and really beautifully presented. The staff were all very attentive and friendly and service was quick. I would definitely recommend marmalades for a special occasion or just a nice evening out! We will be returning!

We loved Marmalade - we think the best place to eat in Sheringham, and it would lure us back when visiting Norfolk again. The food is delicious, the Chef/owner clearly takes pride in producing menus that are expertly thought through and beautifully served, with lots of delicious local produce weaved into the menu. The cookery is produced by someone who, amongst other things, is clearly highly trained in French cookery skills. The vibe of the restaurant is very relaxed and informal, which we loved. Front of house staff are warm and friendly. We are here on a short break and treating ourselves to a second meal there on our last night ❤️.

We went to Sheringham and had yet another wonderful meal cooked by their fantastic chef. We have NEVER had a bad, or poorly cooked meal. Miserable staff. Tried to book a table at this place and whilst I've had a good meal there before, this time I couldn't get in....which is fine. Came with a family of four. Adults and 11yo loved it, but I knocked off a point as my daughter is pescetarian and the only fish on the menu was served with bacon, so she ended up with a veggie risotto she didn't really enjoy.

Nice place with space between tables so other diners aren’t in your face. Good - portions on the generous size and excellent vegetarian options with some thought gone in. Not your usual predictable dishes. However both our main courses had too much salt. Chef please take note I wasn’t able to finish an otherwise superb aubergine with fennel and lentils. Otherwise a great option for good, unpretentious dining. The pictures and photos on the walls from local practitioners were an added bonus.

After the excellent reviews we tried this little restaurant. The meal didn't start well, wine was plonked on the middle of table and the waitress walked away. We didn't order a starter and no cutlery was taken away despite prompting. Food was mediocre and seemed pre cooked and warmed up, slow cooked lamb was way over cooked and the chicken my wife was the same. Desserts were usual out of the fridge so didn't bother. £75 for one course and a bottle of wine, not good value ! We're not able to recommend.

I walked in without a reservation and staff was very accommodating and I was able to have diner there. The food was just amazing and staff very friendly. Very reasonably priced also. Really made my evening! I really recommend this very nice restaurant!!!

Six of us dined out. The food we agreed was an 8 out of 10. The staff were friendly, although we felt rushed. This was because on a Friday evening they were only open from 6 pm till 8:30pm. We only had two hours with our friends. Also the restaurant, whilst they had reassured us beforehand they were wheelchair friendly, they were not.

I have eaten both here and in Number 10. If you had asked me a year ago which was best I would have said Number 10 but not now. They have improved the ambience and the table service was amazing. They had asked if it was a special occasion on the phone and on bringing us our starter gave us a card. A very nice touch. The most important thing is the food and I think this is where they have improved most. It was sensational every course for us both was excellent which is very unusual.
