Every Time I've been here, food has been fault less. Excellent food, excellent quality. Booked up again for Friday.

An excellent and unplanned evening. I have never been before but will certainly be back. Delicious well presented food, service was second to none. A relaxing atmosphere although the restaurant was understandably full. The staff were friendly and helpful A+ and five stars.

Marino's is the best Italian in Scotland, since I moved to Glasgow I am yet to find one that comes close. Such a great atmosphere, I've been coming here since I was very young, celebrated birthday's etc and its never disappointed. A must go if visiting fife!

Went for the pre-theatre menu, had a great time, good food, superb service, lovely friendly staff.

Nice restaurant and good food but they need to do better at taking orders. Both during my time in the restaurant and taking away have they got my order wrong.

My go-to for quick fix of Italian food in Kirkcaldy. Fresh seafood! I’ve always ordered the pizza and pasta. My favourite would be the seafood pasta, verdure(grilled vegetable) and contadina pizza. Some days Marino is there working in the kitchen. It’s sad to hear that the crowd has gotten less after pandemic.

Fantastic quality food at a great price. Always leave the restaurant feeling satisfied that we have all enjoyed our meals.

Only dropped one star for the atmosphere as we were one of only 2 groups in when we visited, so it was very quiet, however the staff, service and food were excellent as always.

Food quite nice., good size portions. Typical Italian menu but also some standard british meals. Good very friendly service. Toilets in real need of upgrading, taps leaking, doors stiff, damaged walls etc. Not easily accessible as stairs into entrance.

The people there make you feel at home, they are so nice you really forget you are in a restaurant The food is DELICIOUS I normally don't like shrimps and salmon but they cook it so well that I couldn't resist It was wonderful, really looking forward going again soon

First visit tonight. Will definitely be back. Food was delicious and the staff were so friendly especially the lady who gave my partner an assortment of ice cream when he couldn't make up his mind.

Heerlijke pizza gegeten. Inrichting is lekker eenvoudig maar het eten is geweldig.

Food was nice, no complaints really, maybe could have been a bit hotter. Service was non-existent, had to go and find someone every time we needed something or to tell them not all our food had arrived. To be fair to the team on, they did apologise numerous times and experience on previous visits was a lot better, maybe just an off night.

Pizza was good. Pasta was ok. Charging £5 for this spinach was criminal.

We had the pre theatre menu which was very reasonable priced for three courses each. The selection on this menu was also very good. It came in at about £40.00 for 2 of us, including a pint of coke each. Can't argue with that and the food was excellent, will be back in the future for sure.

Absolutely stunning. Great food the service is far better the staff are no longer over attentive. Only 1 area for improvement is the desserts, they're not the best. They have a feel of Costco cakes or ice cream

Avoid at all costs. Thought we'd treat ourselves to a nice takeaway. Menu looks great, lots of choice etc. We ordered on the app. They charged us, cancelled the order by mistake, then called us to advise we'll need to reorder at our own costs and wait 3-5 days for a refund for the first order. (£50 order) We re-ordered and 2 hours 10 mins later, the most disgusting mush of supposedly Italian Food arrived. Chicken was terrible. Stuffed mushrooms swimming in grease, undercooked onion rings, lasagne was inedible and the minestrone resembled vegetable soup that has been left in the pot for 4 days and turned. Totally rotten service and even worse food. Just save youself some time and put £50 cash into the bin.

Absolutely horrible staff one staff member shouted at us and another walked away when we tried to ask a question there pizza's are terrible there pastas are revolting I suggest to stay away from this place

Change of ownership has sadly hit this place hard. As a local, Marino's used to be the best restaurant in Kirkcaldy. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years and Marino's always delivered quality food and service. The experience I had last was neither great or bad, something just felt off. The new staff seemed extremely undertrained and food was poor. The recipes seem to be the same however, the quality of the produce has seen a noticeable decline. This place has such value to the community and is loved by all. It's such a shame to see its reputation be destroyed. I hope things improve.

The food and service was amazing it was the best restaurant I went to i really really really recommend to go there once you start eating you will never stop! And it was super cheep the best restaurant in Kirkcaldy!

Food was good. Service was horrendous nearly walked out.

I came here a week ago with my sisters and we all ordered from the lunch menu which was not only very reasonably priced for a three course meal but with a lot to choose from. I had the prawn cocktail for starters and sea bass for the main course. When it came to dessert we were given a list of choices and I was hoping there would be my favourite Italian dessert Tiramisu... Alas they didn't have any so I opted for the lemon meringue pie which was lovely. The staff and the owner were all super friendly and very accommodating and so I decided to come back with my husband today. I had battered prawns with chilli dip for starters and lamb chops for the main course which were absolutely delicious. When the waiter came to tell us the dessert list the first thing on that list was Tiramisu! That was it for me, I didn't need to hear the rest of the desserts. When it was served, omg it was so beautifully presented it was almost a shame to eat it. I'm glad I did though because it was the best Tiramisu I've had. I want to say thank you to all the staff and the owner of Marino's for looking after us so well. It is a lovely restaurant with beautiful decor and authentic Italian music. Pure joy to be there!

Was there on Saturday with our Family of 5 ( 4 adults and 1 baby) The meals were lovely but service was a bit slow as it got busy. Had 4 meals and 3 desserts but got charged for 4 desserts.

Lovely Italian good, fresh and well cooked. However, giving 4 stars as portions are absolutely MASSIVE !!!! Way too much food for an average person to eat. I really don't like food waste and I felt bad leaving a lot left on my plate as it was simply too much....! Please review your portion sizes 🙏

The food was wonderful! I had the stracciatella soup as the starter, then the lasagna al forno as the main course, and finally the banana fantasia as the dessert. Afterward we had a cappuccino. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere, there were Christmas decorations. The waiter was also very friendly to us. We will definitely come back!

Oct 2022 update - although Marino has stepped back from day to day here, it's still fantastic quality, service and value. The set menu remains an astounding deal, especially with costs these days. Well worth a visit! Original - I genuinely believe you couldn't beat the value and quality of the lunch menu offered here.

I regularly eat at Marino's with my partner and never have any complaints. Sevice and food are always spot on. Unfortunately the sevice last night was very disappointing. We had our order taken promptly, drinks, starters and main course all served to the usual high standard. We then waited more than half an hour after our plates were cleared and had to ask for someone to take our order for desserts, not once but twice, before a waiter came to us. This particular waiter was the only one on the floor at this time. He went round the tables, of what appeared to be regular customers, just chatting to them. He blatantly ignored my friends and I to our absolute disgust. My friends and I all work in a public service environment and understand the importance of customer care. However this should not be to the detriment of other customers. Our desserts arrived promptly and were all to the usual high standard that we have always had. I will come back as I know this is not 'normal service' but, unfortunately, my friends will not be back. Not good first impressions for, what could have been, regular customers.

Staff were so helpful food was delicious. Enjoyed eating there looking forward to my next visit.

Would just like to say that the service, food and staff were absolutely brilliant, we stayed near here for a couple of days and decided to try this place for our last night out, would highly recommend. Great selection of food the seafood risotto was 100 %. Thankyou again

This is our local place to eat. One of the best places to eat in Kirkcaldy, there is such a huge variety and all freshly cooked and prepared. Would highly recommend!

Authentic Italian restaurant, I know they don't come from Napoli but I felt I was back there once again! Food was good with a huge menu selection, you would really have to be the fussiest of eaters not to enjoy the variety of dishes there! Staff were good and appeared to care, not sure they all did but overall I have to say try Marino's in Sinclair St!
