Manor Kebabs in Hillingdon

This is the second time I’ve been to Manor Kebabs. The first time I wasn’t overly impressed but thought I would give them a second chance and being Sunday there wasn’t much open after finishing my shift. Found the chicken to be very tasteless and bland. The chilli sauce was more of a chilli mayonnaise and weak at that. Overall found Manor Kebabs to be expensive and tasteless. There are two more kebab places on Victoria Road and another on Ruislip High Street which deserve a visit but Manor Kebabs isn’t one unless you like expensive and tasteless food. Not sure why they have some 5 star reviews but definitely had better kebabs in other places.

Placed an order on Uber Eats as heard good things about this place. Order was confirmed and then 20 minutes later you decided to cancel it. It was a big order also. Now will have to wait a week for my money to be refunded whilst in a cost of living crisis. Disgusting. Will not be using your services again and will not be recommending to anyone.

I recently visited this kebab shop and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was cozy, and the customer service was outstanding. The kebab itself was delicious, with a perfect balance of meat, salad, and sauces. I highly recommend this place for a tasty and enjoyable meal!

Chicken doner not as nice as it used to be. It used to be pieces of chicken now it seems to be in molded slices like the lamb doner.

Was just served the most disgusting old meat I've ever had. Completely vile and inedible. Reckon it was re heated from yesterday

The £12 large lamb shish contained 5 pieces tougher than my oldest work boots, staff that don't seem to understand a phrase as simple as "no tomato" this place should be avoided at all costs. Chips were pretty banging though.

Folks- this place is wonderful. I still remember gathering a list form the USAF folks at RAF Uxbridge/USAF Hillingdon and going to this location to get the best Kebabs around. They were outstanding, this was 1984-1986 and I still tell folks about this kebab shop. Think of that almost 40 years ago and I still remember this shop.

Price gone up and portion size come down... told it's the cost of living to blame..

The meat quality is excellent. Salad a bit boring. Garlic sauce a little too thin.

Ordered on Uber eats. I asked for The meat to be freshly cut and thin. They sent me meat that was sitting there allday it was really bad. And it had a funny smell I could not eat it. This shop does not deserve customers selling food like that. It’s disgusting and disappointing that they send food out to customers like that. AVOID

Great kebab, always fresh chips given and the meat tastes good and not old and crusty. Nice portion side but a little expensive.

The best and most consistent kebab shop in London! I have been eating the food from here for nearly 40 years and the food is just as good now as it was then. Everything is freshly prepared and full of flavour and the cleanliness of the place would put many other places to shame.

Ordered from JustEat two matching identical Kebabs. One was fine the other had no salad no chicken and was completely dry no sauce. I rang the shop and they argued that they had got it right so angry right now

Collected taramasalata and a large chicken doner yesterday . Absolutely the best we have ever eaten . Tara was creamy and completely delicious . Doner was so tender it was seriously gorgeous. Would recommend to anyone .

Twice lately my food is cold . They fill my kebab , leave it on the counter and 5 minutes later they sort out your chips . I have asked them to delay my kebab until the chips are cooked . I was told " we are busy " . I won't be using this place again . What they should realise . They are not the only kebab shop in the Manor anymore

Was going to order from the Istanbul but they don't deliver on this app. So I thought I would give Manor Kebabs a go.. I just ordered a special kebab which is a lamb and chicken shish with some hummes? Very clean. Ordered a chicken shish (takeaway). Pieces of chicken where big and tender. And tasty chilli sauce.

Always get the grilled chicken burger from here which is delicious, however recently the quality of the chicken and the size of the fillet is really thin, like its been sliced in half across the middle then hammered until thin, disappointing at quantity. Flavour still good.

Grabbed a burger between pubs. It was well nice.

Amazing place to eat. Food is always fresh and tastes delicious! Also I'm surprised how clean the place is as most places you go are not to this standarf. Also great and friendly service!

this is the most delicious kebab i have ever had.

Don't expect both garlic and chilli sauce with your kebabs here. They make you pay for "extra sauce", so you have to pick between garlic and chilli. PS: Forgot to note the rudeness of the staff and management, which they have nicely demonstrated in their response. I did call them after I received my order to question why they did this. I did not ask for sauce in separate pots, I simply requested garlic and chilli as per standard when I order a kebab. They clearly spent too much on their fancy packaging to not be able to afford one pot. Fancy packaging doesn't make up for no sauce and rudeness. No wonder this place is always empty when I drive past, while the other nearby Kebab houses are packed. Are you deluded, Mr Manor Kebabs? Just look at this Mr Manor Kebabs responses to the majority of bad feedback - aggressive and un-apologetic. STAY WELL CLEAR.

Ordered a takeaway for the whole family. Food arrived from Manor Kebabs cold. They were also missing all the drinks from the order, and had not provided any sauces with the kebabs. After calling them up, we asked them to deliver the sauces and drinks, they refused and blamed the delivery company and asked us to sort it with them as they provided the drinks and sauces- they actually think a delivery driver would steal the sauces as well as the drinks! In response to the food being cold, they blamed the delivery company again and said they sent the food out hot... The manager asked "Do you have a oven?, so HEAT IT UP! - in an aggressive manner. I would save your money and go else where. These guys seemingly do this on purpose to save money and make Just eat or uber eats pay for them missing stuff out.

Mix Doner Wrap asked for extra sauce - dry as hell. dont expect staff to wear PPE - cowboys - Avoid - would give you no stars if i could wow lovely response! rest my case

We love this place, we have moved away from the are....however when ever we visit we always treat ourselves to a lamb shish. The food here by far is the best we have ever had. Please keep upntje good work and thanks guys for an outstanding dinner as always!!

The service was very good. There were dividers, between staff and customers. Food was prepared in full view. Our take away was done quickly. The food was tasty. We enjoyed our food. The portions were big.

First time eating from here and sadly it will be the last. The chicken donar kebabs were very dry and tasted stale, me and my partner both thought so. Two hours later we have the $hits. Never again! You have been warned!

Been ordering from here over the last month and have been really satisfied with the food. However, this evening there was a mix-up with my order for the first time ever! I called the shop and complained about this, and with all fairness to the guys. They remade the entire order and re-delivered it. Just had 3 Kebabs from here two large and one small. Got 3 pieces of chicken and 3 pieces of lamb in the large with a very poor portion of salad. The small lamb was the same size. I can testify to just how excellent service and the food is. Ayhan and cemal has managed to maintain excellent standards since refurbishment. The staff changes have made the place more varied. I would never visit any other place in ruislip for a kebab!

I recently ordered via Uber Eats and must say, the food was delicious and most importantly, they actually respected my requests. Most places I order from don’t even bother reading the special instructions. Not only that, there was nothing missing from my order which happens a lot from other places. Highly recommended! Waited over 45 mins for my food when I placed it inside the shop, they recommend you order before you go otherwise you might get annoyed like I did when I saw customers coming in after me getting their food before me. The kebab it self tasted okay..... Garlic sauce was a bit over powering.

As a family we have been a customer of 30+ years and would never have gone anywhere else but will never return after the 'service' experienced last night. In future we will spend our hard earned money where we are treated with courtesy not contempt. There are plenty of equally good alternatives locally offering better value for money, perhaps that's why they all had noticeable queues and Manor Kebabs had no-one waiting. Deliberately didn't post in anger last night but still feel the same disappointment today. Food mediocre, lukewarm, chips soggy and cold, most of it was thrown away, waste of time and money. Enough said.

I went today after reading reviews. I've been looking for a nice kabab shop for ages in South Harrow. So we drove there. From the polite service I received, the Perfect packaging shows quality. Took it home, the family was amazed. Donor meat was tasty and most importantly not oily at all. The best doner meat I've had in a long time. Price is reasonable. Will definitely go again.

Then the old Turkish guy behind the counter started talking to in Turkish facing away from us. I asked him what he was saying in a foreign language then he started hurling abuse at saying you're demanding. If you don't like it go somewhere else. I said if you had listened in the first place and done what we had asked you then that would have been better. He carried on talking in Turkish. I said to him talkin in English because who knows what abuse you're hurling at us in you own language. He had no decency to apologise for his mistake but had the nerve to be rude and insulting. What the hell does he think he is if he can't show customer service then he's in wrong job. Bad people bad service, make up you're own mind....

Nice look and packaging but disappointing quality - weird tasting salads and flat tasteless sauces.

The prices have just gone up yet again, I'm sure that's twice in 1 year, making Manor Kebabs the most expensive in the borough. The meat is often under cooked, you only have to look at past reviews to see that. The chilli sauce is different every time, one time its spicy the next is mild another it has no flavour just chillies, it would be nice to stick to a recipe. Nearly £8 (all but 5p) for a large doner.

Visited Sunday evening asked for a mixed doner and extra bread they literally threw it on and did not even toast the pitta bread. The lamb and chicken was stone cold and the cucumber chopped up golf ball size. The tomato was soggy and past it's best. I asked for lemon juice and the guy serving was so rude he just poured it on and ignored me asking him to stop . This mess came to £7.95 And they would not take my debit card they said the minimum charge is I think £11.95. Never known anywhere like this. The staff where beyond rude not even saying hello they just as I said slopped it together and had no customer service. I remember this place when it was a good local friendly takeaway. These people should not be serving the nice Ruislip public and if they are going to they need to learn to cook and extend some manners to the customers who are parting with their money. Placed an order over the phone for well done, went to collect and before it was wrapped up asked to be cooked more and was told it’s cooked enough!!! Asked to be cooked more and it was thrown down after arguing in his arrogant opinion it is!! In the end I left without any order and paying for nothing!!! The staff here decide what is cooked enough for you and what isn’t!!! Absolutely disgusting behaviour and will NEVER go there again!!!!!

Usually Manor Kebabs comes up trumps but on this occasion I’ve never been so shocked at the rudeness and diabolical customer service. My sister called our order through when I got there I asked if the guy cooking and cutting the meat if he could cook the doner a bit more he said it was cooked I said could you cook it more well done he said it was well done I said ok but could you cook it even more he said it’s well done. So now he is being rude and difficult I said normally another guy puts it on the griddle and cooks it a bit more for me could you do that he said no. I said oh that’s nice! There are now other customers in the shop. I asked my sister to come in and check her meat as she is the one that likes it cooked a bit more she asked him again if he could cook it a bit more bearing in mind we are asking not telling and being treated with no repeat he held the meat up in front of everyone and said look it’s well done I said in your opinion! At that point we just left and said don’t worry about it. I have been coming here since I moved here 13years ago I wont be coming here again I went to Istanbul down the road I will be giving them my money instead.

Nice clean kebab joint. Fast and efficient service. And most of all the quality, quantity and taste are top class. Worth the price which is not high either.

Fantastic family run Kebab shop who are definitely doing something right!! They've been doing it for 40 years and still going strong!! Always good sized portions, super friendly staff and food isn't greasy at all, always quality ingredients used!! Fantastic!!!
