Bloke behind counter lifting all orders with his hand when my turn asked polity to use tongs instead of his hands he got abusive said he don't use hands but yet I stod for 10 mens watching the bloke then when I say sumit to him becomes all aggressive. Got it all recorded

This chippy is so bad…. Mid afternoon it was not busy…. Lukewarm food and soggy cold chips… pull up ur socks guys ur food is not good

Mannys what has happened to your famous chips? Got a small one with my order, that turned out I was charged for a large one 🤨and had to throw most of them in the bin. They were tasteless, hard and luke warm at that. Got a fish as well and despite asking for it to be lightly cooked, the batter was hard and fish dry inside. Absolute waste of money as majority of it followed the chips to the bin. I hadn't been in for a while but afraid I wouldn't rush back.

Ordered kids meal and curry chip. Chips in both were soggy and brown very poor quality. Always liked here in past but food this time was shocking.

Sad to read the bad reviews as speak as I find, I really enjoyed our lunch from here. All was cooked fresh and we were generously given a big tub of tomato sauce, and some free chips with a battered sausage. Potato scallops to die for!

The food was disgusting I order battered sausages and when they came the were all soggy no crisp on them at all and my partner got a chicken wrap and the chicken was very rubbery never ordering from here again very disappointed

I asked for a jumbo hotdog with bacon, cheese and fried onions and got this mess. 2 tiny sausages sliced down the middle to cheap out and fill, charcoal burnt onions and some plastic cheese slice hidden somewhere and it wasn't even hot. Avoid this place like it gives you covid.

What is the point in wearing a glove when you don’t change it, use that glove to take money off people put it in the till then lift the food, ( wearing one glove) If that’s wasn’t bad enough, the girl asked a member of staff to help who was standing having a munch, she then came around to help while picking the chicken from her teeth. Never again, it’s a potty because the food it so good. Hygiene course definitely needed!

Staff are horrible. I called up and explained how many times my order has been wrong and cold. She could seem to care less. Phoned up the next day to speak to someone new and one of the staff said, what do you want me to do about it? Absolute disgrace. Go to Chip Company, there food is nicer and they always get the order right! The staff in there can’t read a just eat docket. Embarrassed for them!

Manny's has massively improved and they have to be given credit for that. For a while I went to another chippy nearby as Manny's had got greasy and poor. However now they have upped their game big time. The fish, chips, chicken gougons, pasties are fresh and tasty and the service is very good as well. Well done and credit where it is due.

Service awful. Said they would give me a fresh order the next day and went back on their word. Good was freezing and food was missing

Mannys glengormley is hands down the best chippy about. The place is always busy but service is fast so you never have to wait long! Wouldn't go anywhere else. 10/10

While a stream of people queued behind me were served and gone, I thought my well done fish would take a little longer. 20 minutes later, the fish had no flavour, and the batter was greasy and soggy. The pastie, which was initially not included as it had been forgotten, was also soggy and cold but the filling was flavoursome. The 2 portions of chips were a sorry state... lukewarm, soggy and without flavour, served in polystyrene boxes. It had been about 20 years since I'd eaten from Mannys and back then it was renowned as a real 'greasy spoon'... nothing's changed!

Very helpful with my order I had ordered through just eat to the wrong address the friendly staff member helped me sort this out very quickly! Food was amazing as always!

We tried Manny's the first week of our trip and returned several more times. The food was cooked fresh and was very tasty.We loved the fish and the gravy and curry sauces. Good value for money.

Best fish and chips in Belfast. Most consistent,fair priced,large portions and well cooked and presentable non greasy grub. Any tourists reading this,get a taxi here and you will not be disappointed. I come here from time to time and am not disappointed.

Asked to move table with shopping to smaller table incase of increase of customers which never happened.. Under managers orders.. Food was under average customer service??. Girls work hard.. Manager?. Keep all ur customers happy it's good business sense, 🙄

Mi consejo es que te mantengas alejado de Mannys en Antrim Road Belfast, ya que se vendió al nuevo propietario, lo que es peor es la comida que apesta. Patatas fritas sugeridas que están medio cocidas, salchichas jumbo que resultan ser 2 salchichas comunes a la mitad, como el nuevo dueño todavía está abierto.

Went to mannys on Saturday for a take away and the food was absolutely gorgeous and the shop was very busy at the time and the customer service was brilliant!!

Siempre disfruta de mi té de pescado aquí. Me sale un solo bacalao, alubias, pan de te y mantequilla. Costo 7. 70 libras.El pescado siempre es fresco y no graso, con una buena cucharada de papas fritas gratis. Gran olla de té y pan fresco y mantequilla con frijoles al horno. Fabuloso.Manny's se ha hecho cargo de Cafe Fish como la mejor tienda de Fish and Chip en Belfast y probablemente en Irlanda del Norte.El personal son las típicas muchachas de Belfast con ese pequeño borde de bromas y mejillas. Charlando lejos en el segundo plano.El lugar es realmente limpio y rápido y eficiente.Te insto a que lo intentes, ¡volverás!

Every time you order it's cold and they forget juice and dips chips are always all dried up fish sits in heater until someone buys and it's all batter no fish absolutely disgusting avoid at all cost not worth it

Called in for a takeaway fish and chip for two on way home after a couple of drinks in town. Batter was soft and undercooked, fish was tasteless. Never again. Waste of money.

went in for a fish supper very disappointed chips warm large fish but no taste. not good value for money sorry wont be back

Tuvimos un par de noches en Belfast en octubre, teníamos planes de ir a un restaurante diferente en el área, pero cuando un transeúnte escuchó nuestros acentos australianos, recomendó a sus hermanas una tienda de fish and chips. Estoy muy contento de haber tomado su consejo. Estábamos súper contentos con el tamaño de la porción, pero también con la calidad. El personal era muy amable y el pescado y las patatas fritas eran perfecto! Gracias chicos.

mannys used to be FANTASTIC place with its very large portions and the staff all used to be fantastic . NOT NOW they have sold out to commercialism and greed

I stopped using Mannys for about 9 months because it went down hill big time, I started using Walkers up the road a bit as the food is far superior but unfortunately Walkers is closed on a Sunday so I reluctantly went to Mannys and can now confirm I'll never set foot in the place again bought chicken gougons and garlic dip at £3.80 opened it to discover Mannys don't give a scoop of chips now as they did for 30 years and the Gougons are nothing more than 4 pathetic small strips of chicken surrounded by a load of batter and a small garlic dip and they where not the best to honest either.

Friend told me to try,especially the fish. So I got a single cod.

Llamé a Mannys Glengormley el viernes pasado a la hora del té. Hice mi pedido con el hombre detrás del mostrador, la chica de la caja registradora me preguntó qué había pedido y luego pagué usando sin contacto con mi tarjeta. No recibí un recibo. Llamaron a mi pedido preguntando si quería sal y vinagre, pusieron todos los artículos en la bolsa y luego me fui a casa. Cuando llegué a casa y estaba sacando todo, me di cuenta de que no había aderezo en las chinches que había pagado por tocino y queso en 2 hamburguesas de pollo que no estaban en ellas. Had my first visit to Chapel Lane shop. Food was delicious, fish and chips from a proper 'chippy'. Great pasties too. The place is spotless and friendly staff.

Absolutely terrible.. got fish that the batter wasn't cooked. Was quite obviously being battered by a kid on his summer holidays. Sausages were like rubber. Not usually into writing complaints online so posted them 2 letters giving them a chance to redeem themselves. Got zero response so now taking to online to warn people never to go there!

El pescado y las patatas fritas aquí son las mejores que he probado. Incluso probamos el famoso Leo Burdock's en Dublín, pero Manny's lo superó, sin dudas, ¡por más de la mitad del precio! El servicio fue muy amable. Bacalao era fresco y las patatas fritas eran para morirse. ¡Muy recomendable!

Well I'm from NEWTOWNARDS and Mannys your famous here lol. I would jump in the car and drive to the Antrim road just to get their fantastic and generous portion of grub. Yep FAMOUS IN ARDS 😂😂😂

Probably the best ever fish and chips. Amazing choice of food and sea food. From children meals to large adult meals, very good chicken too.

Orded a cheesy chip with gravy only jusf over an hour away called too see if any sign of it arriving over an hour later not even a sorry been going there since a child and I'm no spring chicken now they even had the cheek to say order had been cancelled stay away they do not care about their customers

Never write review's but made it my business to write this one, food arrived saturated in grease, right through to the paper delivery bag, batter on the fish and goujons soggy with grease also on the scallops, this place has went to the dogs used to a be the nicest chippy about..

Completely unacceptable , was an hour late and the food was cold. Also not to mention the service from the staff was appalling when I phoned up about my order.

Chicken burger tasted great but needs a better quality bap, the thing fell apart and I had to eat it with a fork.

Ordered a burger, a cheese burger and a chip. Asked in the comments section for fried onions and red sauce on the burgers. I got 2 cheese burgers with nothing else on them. Is it really that difficult??

Delivered by a rude driver who just thrust the bag in my face. Cartons were obviously just thrown in any way. Opened chip and sauce and it had spilled out into paper wrapping....useless. Rest of order was cold and no care put into order whatsoever. Just horrible

brutal from start to finish. 2 hour wait for the food and when it arrived there was a pity full excuse for a meal with a handful of chips all of which was covered in grease. wouldn't recommend it to a dog.

The fish and chips are delicious from here and unless your a big eater a fish supper wud do 2. Chicken goujons are so tasty. Wish u cud order a sample of everything.

Just visited the new shop in Chapel Lane, as always the food was amazing! The service was fantastic and the shop is looking incredible! Would recommend everyone to pop in, if your about the city centre. Delicious!!!! :)

I regularly eat out of Manny's every Saturday night and the food is absolutely delicious! Really friendly staff who are happy to help! The best chippy I have ate out of!

My chicken wrap was full of pure onions that were too big. Wasn't given the option to choose plain or without dressing etc. The chips were mostly chiples and weren't exactly fresh. The gravy was way too watery. The chicken and the battered sausages don't have enough flavour. The mayo wasn't up to standard. I suggest that changing your ingredients would be an excellent improvement. Apart from this everything else was great service.

Ordered from Mannys a few days ago, order was placed at 6.50pm and delivery time was stated to be 7.55pm. When the food had not arrived by half 8 we rang the restaurant and were told that the order had left and would be with us shortly with no word of apology. Finally at 9.10pm the food arrived with the delivery driver admitting he had only been given the order 5 minutes before. My mums batter was burnt and there was hardly any fish. The chips were cold and soggy, and we received no apology. Definitely will not be ordering from Mannys again.

Delivered on time and the driver actually remembered about our drinks! Food was ok too - not as nice as Moyola, but def better than The York.

Food would have been good if it was hot! Ordered just after 7.30pm with estimated delivery at 8.50pm. Food didn't arrive until almost 9.30pm at which point it was lukewarm which was disappointing!

Used to come here every Friday after school as the done the best pasties. This is certainly no longer the case. Young fella behind the counter around the age of 16 sneezed onto his hands and continued to serve food without washing his hands before handling food.... this was more than enough the keep me from coming back to the lower Antrim road store. However the shop located in Glengormley is what a chip shop should be. Polite friendly staff and high standard of food. Pity same couldn't be said about the other shop.

Been to this Carry out on numerous occasions - found excellent value for money and staff very efficient - despite the crowds especially at meal times - the generous portions & you font need to order extra chips as they usually give you a handful of chips with a sausage/pastie etc so brilliant for the kids - if you have a big order advice to ring ahead so to give the team a start as they are rarely empty - overall recommend if in antrim road area

Used mannys along ago and we all liked it. We saw you could order from just eat so we gave it a try. It took almost 1 hour for the delivery to come when it did the food was look warm. The fish was the worst it greasy batter and the fish inside was really dry The chips were cold grey and soggyHorrible!

What an absolute disgrace. Nothing like the Manny's that used to be here. I was really disappointed because I was really looking forward to it. Fish came with a rubber batter and the chips were refried. By the way you can drink your own carry outs there because nothing was said to the young lad who was knocking back his whisky while insulting other customers in the queque!

Generally very greasy, , side they didn't have one item on the order and rang straight away to offer alternative. Another plus was a very fast and pleasant delivery driver, but the grease and quality of the chips especially let's this wee chippy down. Not bad for filling a gap but not one for inspiring the taste buds

Ordered two fish suppers and drinks. Arrived in excellent time, food was piping hot and lovely portion sizes. My only quibble is the price, a bit expensive! Would order from here again.
