I think the restaurant is mainly for hotel residents who may not have choice in meals options. I found the steak choices not like a restaurants with varieties of steaks. Totally disappointed with steak choices had a family dinner meeting but not really of nice group meals.

We were a party of 7 for a business meeting. The door man wasn 't familiar with the restaurant name. The waiters confused totally our order. The steaks were all cooked wrongly. While eating, a mouse ran below our table. The staff was caring and the dinner was offered for free. Definitely wouldn't t recommend a restaurant after all these incidents.

I had a four-day day at the Marriott, so on my last day I ate at the Manhattan Grill. the waiter was so very accommodating. The food was good. The prices were excellent. I would come back again.

Staying at this hotel, Marriott canary wharf for 10 days. I am on day 8! Breakfast here is fabulous especially the omelettes that Ali makes..perfect to order and with a cheerful smile! Have had soups here 3 different days and they are amazing! Definitely recommend that. Hamburgers are also very good.

Firstly i would like to say a big Thank you to Rashid Ahmed. He honestly deserves a raise such an amazing man who provided us with amazing service. Overall everything was 10/10.

Worst experience ever. The girl in the staff told us to wait 30 minutes while clearly there were no people in the restaurant, like 5 table busy out of approx 30. We booked online because it was quicker and we got the table after 5 mins. We sat, we ordered a steak and some skinny fries - that’s it, we were served after 1 hour. Avoid this place at all cost, you have definitely a problem if you like the service or enjoy the food.

The beed is good, pretty good as this is my first time, however, the chef Green salad not really match my flavor (little bit to Salty?) other than that, overall 4 is good for this restaurant

Very nice place. High quality dishes, very clean, staff is very nice, and the view looking at the quayside is lovely. Vegans and vegetarians will find great food, too. Try the perfect risotto!

Preorder a table in advance via phone. Upon arrival we ordered drinks, atmosphere was busy with classy background music. Service was 100%, food 100% and overall lovely night. Price wise, not too expensive. Again, if you are in the local area, I would also recommend this restaurant.

Great spot if you are a steak lover, the service was top-notch as you would expect from the Marriot brand. Had the rib eye it was delicious, cooked as requested looking forward to my next visit.

We have been staying at the Marriott at Canary Wharf for a few days. I am a steak aficionado, and even have endorsements and ambassadorships from companies that provide American, Australian, and Japanese Wagyu from the most exclusive providers on the planet. I had never had a Scottish beef steak, before. It wasn’t the prettiest cut, but it was tender, perfectly dry aged for the term (28 days), and very flavorful. The temperature was spot on medium-rare, and the extra layer of fat (dry aged cuts absorb most of the fat into the meat) was just the trick to make this steak something to remember. Now, the star of the show was the mushroom sauce… Thick, creamy, rich, and soooo much flavor! My compliments to the chef! I will be trying the filet, tonight!

Terrible meal. Had a team dinner here after a meeting as we used one of their meeting rooms, and with so many local places to eat it was a terrible choice, but we expected such a hotel to be a good meal. We ordered 6 fillet steaks (at around £30 each) and a salmon, plus £6 chips/fries/greens sides (which were all over cooked greens and soggy soft fries). The steaks were clearly not all fillets and several were fatty and gristly. They were all different sizes and thicknesses even though all should have been fillets. Most were over cooked compared to how they’d been ordered (and how menu described them) and one was sent back (others of us gave up and just ate as it was as we realised it was unlikely to improve). We were also given wrong sauces and when we mentioned to staff about steaks they seems to know the problem before we even explained saying ‘is it chewy and fatty?’ clearly showing it’s not the first time they have had to deal with these complaints about the kitchen/food. I should add the restaurant was extremely quite at this time and had only around 3-5 other covers in there so they were not run off their feet. The salmon was also thin, dry and over cooked and with just a small pot of sauce to accompany it and most of it was left. For such a hotel and for the cost of the food charged it was a very disappointing, unsatisfactory, overpriced and misleading meal. I would not return or recommend at all and think, as much as the servers did their best to apologise, the kitchen staff/cooking/management needs to be addressed as the problems lay in the kitchen before the food came out. Maybe now in hindsight there was a reason so many other places were full and this restaurant was so quiet.

Horrible service, dreadful experience. Thursday night my partner and I had dinner here. We ordered a burger, and a fish and chips. The burger was terrible! The patty is burned and there was a big chunk of lettuce core hanging in the middle. The fish & chips was bland and the fish was dry. What was worse is the service, in particular from a lady named Dora. We complained about the burger to the waiter, later this lady Dora who seemed to be the floor manager came to our table and told us the lettuce was edible condescendingly, as if it was wrong for us a complain about the poor food quality. We didn’t want her to ruin our evening and told her just to bring our bill, we’ll pay and never come back. She responded “of course you need to pay!” How someone who throws a temper tantrum on unsatisfying customers ever hired as a floor manager is beyond me.

Dead atmosphere and dad lettuce in my burger Thursday evening at 8pm in this hotel restaurant associated with the Marriott. The Marriott is possibly the worst hotel in canary wharf and this restaurant keeps the trend as is absolutely dreadful. Place is completely empty - for good reason - the food is awful. In my burger I had the stale root and core of a lettuce to chew on - this was marginally worse than my burnt burger. My partner had the fish and chips which were at least “tasteless” as opposed to repulsive. Avoid at all costs

Had breakfast here whilst staying at the hotel. Service OK if nothing special - everything is self-service including hot drinks. Good selection of hot and cold items including eggs cooked to order. Hot food is actually hot! Overall a decent breakfast offering.

Me and my friend had breakfast at the Manhattan grill. Andrea R was our host and delivered amazing service, and was very helpful. The meal was very pleasant had a good experience here.

Been here a few times and I guess after reopening it just isn't the same as before. Take nothing away from the service, this used to be our go to steak place. The new York strip just didn't taste the same. The starters menu seemed to have gone missing as the options have reduced. The fillet steak was the best shout of the table.

I had my birthday breakfast at Marriott Canary Wharf on the 8th February 2022, the food was good but the service was excellent. Andrea went above duty to ensure I felt special on my birthday. All the staff were excellent and did their job with the highest professionalism and care. When you visit for breakfast, do ask for Andrea, she will make you feel extra special.

I was thoroughly impressed from the moment I arrived with your courteous waiting staff who could not do enough for us. Its really important when representing a brand such as Marriott and they really represent the brand image in a fantastic way, looked happy to be there and genuinely enjoyed their jobs. I didnt catch their names it was a young lady and young gentleman. Then I will mention the food, what absolutely amazing steak I am still in food heaven two days later and already planning our next trip (we live up North) just for your restaurant! Overall I had a thoroughly enjoyable meal and experience and look forward to our next visit.

I think their target audience is for couples and older people if that makes sense. Not much variety on the menu and in my opinions I think the prices are unreasonable. Didn’t enjoy the food but the customer service is fantastic

This was our second time visiting this restaurant and the customer service from Felix, Hugo and the gentleman from the bar was second to none. They made our night even more spectacular with their customer service. Great services and will definitely visit again

We were attended to by a lovely gentleman called Felix. Very professional, knowledgeable and bubbly person. I enjoyed every bit of the dining. He ushered us in, allowed us time to deliberate on our orders and gave a comprehensive rundown of the wine notes. Very classy. Great guy. Food was tasty too.

Very poor. Service took way too long, we were the only people in there on a Friday night. I ordered a rare steak, it came out medium, I asked for a new one and it came out blue, literally at fridge temperature. I gave up and left hungry. Incompetent chef, disappointing and unacceptable for a restaurant of this calibre.

Ghastly service. I ordered a Tagliatelle (vegetarian with Mushroom and Spinach as mentioned in the menu) from the A La Carte menu and they kept sending it with beef in it. Had to ask them thrice to change it. Finally just got up and left. My friend who had invited me there for lunch was extremely embarrassed. I believe it was a malicious act or the waiter was just super dumb. He did get everyone elses orders correct though. Will never go back and do not recommend if you are a vegetarian.

Went for a family meal on a Saturday evening. The decor is nice and the staff are all pleasant in their manner. They were also very clear when explaining the menus. I ordered the burger which I had with chips. The burger was cooked nicely and was a good size. I was a bit disappointed by the chips but luckily my sisters partner let me share her sweet potato fries. My Dad had the ribs which he enjoyed. My Mum and sister had steaks but they looked very small and despite being tasty they were overly priced. The best value meal was the burger as this came with a side of chips or fries where as the other dishes didn't. Between us all we had some sides including creamed spinach, salad and seared mushrooms. These were all reasonable portions and tasted good. The bill came to around £160 for 5 of us (that was a main and a drink each), with a £21 tip added on. We saw that as an extortionate amount! We left half that as a tip which is more than generous.... Overall it was a nice experience but not somewhere any of us are likely to visit again.

We stayed over at the Marriott Hotel Canary Wharf and decided to have dinner in the Manhattan Grill. The service, food & ambiance was excellent. The lighting was perfect which allowed us to see the high rises of Canary Wharf. We also had breakfast the next morning and the buffet has a large selection of well presented dishes. The servers are very friendly and efficient.

I had the most amazing food and drink service at the Manhattan Grill Restaurant! I highly recommend a dinner here. Hugo, Rita and Levi from the restaurant were very attentive and gave wonderful suggestions as to what to order, as well as getting personalised drinks for our taste by Mike and Raffaele from the Bar.

Das Restaurant befindet sich im Hotel somit etwas schwer zu finden wenn man das nicht weiß! Das Essen ist sehr gut man legt wert auf top Ware das merkt man am Fleisch. Es ist nicht günstig aber es lohnt sich.

Starters, scallops and prawns. The former were delicious and the latter, larger portion. Unfortunately had to wait ages for mains, but they gave a discount. Angus Fillet with mac and cheese, beautifully cooked steak and seasoned well. Will definitely go again. Nice restaurant ambience and waitress (Lucy) was very pleasant

I visited the Manhattan Grill restaurant for breakfast, the same restaurant that caters for the hotel guests. I decided on the buffet breakfast which was £22 and subject to a 12.5% service charge. We were looked after by Nikola who really could not have done more for us, he should be the blueprint for how customer service should be done. I had the billingsgate omelette followed by pancakes with clotted cream and blueberries, so yummy still thinking about them the next day. My friend had the eggs Florentine and the nutella and banana pancakes. There was so much variety that it was almost impossible to make a decision. You can opt for the a la carte menu or the buffet, the buffet allows you to choose everything off the a la carte menu. The restaurant itself is lovely, you get a good view of the docks. The West India car park is across the road and was £6.50 for just over two hours. The DLR is across the road so excellent for those travelling by public transport. I have stayed at this Marriott before and found that the customer service and facilities are excellent. If you are disabled or have a pushchair then you should have no problems visiting this place. Marriott needs to give a Nikola a pay rise because he made our visit special and we will definitely be back and sooner than planned! Happy New year Nikola!

What a wonderful evening we had last night. We were greeted by the very friendly Front of House manager Felix, and made feel most welcome. Our server on the night Miguel (from Colombia) could not have been more helpful-without being obtrusive, and genuinely seemed keen that we have a wonderful evening. The food was excellent. The steaks are very well chosen and full of flavour. The wine too was perfect with our meal with prices to suit all pockets. Everything was explained on the menu when needed. Sides were of a very good size and perfect to share.Thank you to the staff for really making it an exceptional evening.

Perfect place, perfect food! You can go with family, friends or business! The neighborhood is beautiful, near a river and has many bars around! The restaura is very beautiful and organized, excellent service! Wonderful food from the entrance to dessert! You can see the kitchen while waiting for your order ! I would recommend for sure!

Superb little gem of a place. Stumbled on it by accident - and had doubts that is might be a typically disappointing 'hotel' chain restaurant. Couldn't have been more wrong. Superb customer service and care - detailed knowledge of their menu and drinks - and the food was outstanding - superb steak with great attention to detail on the starters, sides, trimmings, etc. Steak might be easy to do - but its hard to do it this well. We'll be back.

Attenant à l'hôtel Marriott au coeur de Canary Wharf, l'endroit est peu froid au sens figuré comme au sens propre mais le service est chaleureux et attentionné. Le restaurant possède un grill à très haute température garant de la qualité des cuissons juste comme il faut. Les viandes sont d'origines très diverses et toutes de qualité supérieures. Savoureuses à souhait. Les accompagnements sont nombreux et optionnels comme souvent en angleterre. Le choix des vins est international et plutôt haut de gamme. Une bonne adresse comme il n'y en a pratiquement pas dans le quartier pour les amateurs de grillade.

THE MARRIOTT Steakhouse. we went to this restaurant on our wedding anniversary and were greeted by the manager on our arrival who wished us well. We were treated to a glass of bubbly before sitting down and being given incredible service by our waitress. The seating is in good subdued lighting and the music was audible without being just background annoyance but not disturbing conversation. It was great to see that the steaks we ordered were first brought to us without sides in order we could cut into them and ensure they were cooked to how we ordered. Each course was presented and cooked/prepared to perfection and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. This is NOT a plaudit I readily give especially when eating a steak. The waitress came over at given intervals to check on our enjoyment and needs. She also offered opinion on some different dishes which was a great benefit. Although this is not a cheap place to eat, service, quality of the meal and enjoying the experience makes it well worth recommending it. We left the venue having enjoyed our meal and the service we were given which added to our occasion. It is indeed a place we will return to.

Was a bit shocked to realise the glasses of wine we ordered were 17 quid each, and the two bottles of water we were up-sold were 5 quid each. The food and steak was extremely average, for the price. Service was excellent though. I wish I'd gone to the livelier and more stylish places along the water next door.

The service was brilliant especially from Hugo who made our time very comfortable . The atmosphere was nice and we were sat by the window which had an amazing view. The food was amazing and the portions were great . We will definitely be coming back !

We went here for Father’s Day and the service, food, venue and everything was amazing. Cannot fault anything at all! The steak was delicious and we had it with plenty of different side dishes. We were offered all three sauces to try with our steak and I can say the chimichurri was my favourite.

It was wonderful gastronomic experience. I follow the recommendations from Hugo and Rita for the meat, the desert and the wine and what good choice. Thank you both, great service.

We had a lovely 3 course dinner here, steak and fish which were both cooked really well. It’s a steak restaurant but they have good options for anyone that doesn’t eat meat. Service was excellent, our waiter was Felix who was very attentive and made good recommendations, thank you! (We recommend the cheesecake dessert!!)

On the plus side, they use great quality meat. The quality of the USDA bone in Ribeye and the Aberdeen Angus Fillet was excellent. Alas, disappointingly for a restaurant which cooks steak 90% of the time, it was horribly overdone. Fillet ordered Blue was medium, at best. Ribeye ordered medium-rare was well-done and beyond.

Something amiss in this restaurant. Food was just about acceptable.

We turned up without booking and managed to get a table. We were met by Felix the waiter. Without a doubt, this was the best Service we have received in the Wharf. A friend of mine invited me to have a dinner here with friends. Previously in my mind I always thought that having dinner at a high quality restaurant could cost a fortune. This isn't true. Obviously a 5* hotel restaurant can be expensiver than a high street franchise place but the service is so much different. Here you are welcomed personally by a member of staff. You are escorted to your table, your waitress introduces him/her to you and explains the daily speciality or suggests a drink. The food was amazing. The desert was just simple wow and delicious. I had a great time in Manhattan grill. Thank you so much for your hardworking Felix, Hugo, Amran - the lovely people who served us.

I had booked this restaraunt for my sons 18th Birthday. There was an initial mix up with the booking on the day which was quickly rectified. The service we received was second to none and the waiter was fantastic. The food was cooked to perfection. The manager and staff went out of their way to compensate for the mix up. I would definitely return

The Best Burger I have ever ate in my live... visited for a weekend away and was not disappointed at all... the price was right and the service was absolutely excellent. Amazing staff always wanted to make sure everything was ok and if there was anything else needed. We could not finish the food at all even tho we missed out on the chicken but this will definitely take me back there again. Fab location excellent service and great stay. Thank u to all the wonderful staff.

Very nice food cooked properly and raccomanded by our waiter Felix , we had a great beef fillet and an amazing t-bone steak, wow what a great choice.. even the wine pair was terribly good a bottle of Los vascos cab sav bit peppery , full body which amplifield the great taste of our steaks. Overall a fantastic place to eat great steaks with plenty of very nice wines at all prices with friendly and professional staff. Thanks guys we 'll be back soon.

So I heard good things about this restaurant and was excited to go there with my friends this weekend. We walked in and automatically the waiter who turned out to be the manager said they were fully booked for the evening.

Absolutely disgraceful service. Felt like we were back in 1950s and segregation was still in. Manager is also very unprofessional and needs to be trained or let go. I’ve warned all my ethnic minority colleagues to avoid at all costs. That’s unless you’d like a taste of apartheid blended with incompetence.
