The best Chinese around 10/10 service this is still the best Chinese food around I look forward to seeing iris and having a chat she is brilliant for the business and brings many in thank you!

Always seems to be reheated from previous night. Tough rubbery chicken, gristly ribs. Try Canton down by Aldi , much better

Excellent meals at reasonable prices. Amazingly quick service. None of the long,long waits that you get with many takeaways. Friendly staff. Meal for one is outstanding, and is a very generous helping.

Great place, those behind the counter are amazing folks, been coming here, since their existence, they're an absolute credit to our community, I'd be lost without them. The customer service, politeness welcome fills me every time I go to order, I love my local chippy 😊

Ended up going here as our local shop was closed due to the bank holiday. Well, it is there loss as this place was excellent and very well priced. We'll be going out of way to return to Mandarin house because the food was excellent.

Quick warning the takeaway appears to be Cash Only and I had to go for a quick run home to collect some cash that I don't carry anymore. That warning aside the food was absolutely fantastic and the staff very pleasant. However what impressed me most was that they proudly display their collection totals for charities on their walls which I can't tell you enough really makes me want to go there again they don't have to do this they don't have to collect the charity but they do and it is really appreciated and absolutely cool

Love this takeaway. I must have visited them 30 times at least. Never had a problem with the orders - and invariably delicious. Well worth a visit!

Best Chinese takeaway in Cardiff.

For what it is, it's really good. It's a no-frills Chinese takeaway with good prices and generous portions who do really tasty battered chicken dishes. The kind of thing most of us grew up with and know and love. It is not an example of gourmet Asian cuisine but I don't think it needs to be.

El mejor chino de todos. Los locales en vivo han probado un montón de comida china pero no pueden superar esta. La comida siempre sabe fresca, no grasosa. Nunca iría a otro lugar ahora. Todos los que conozco piensan que son los mejores chinos de la zona. Deffo recomienda que sea barato con porciones de buen tamaño.

Unfortunately our favourite local Chinese take away / restaurant has sadly closed so we tried the Mandarin House. Not a huge choice on the menu but it was very nice.

Looks a bit grotty. Seats are uncomfortable. But you know when you’ve hit the jackpot when you go on a Saturday night and they are queuing round the block. Consistently good. The large spring roll is to die for.

Me había llevado de aquí en dos ocasiones durante el último mes más o menos. En ambas ocasiones, ordenamos en la tienda y la comida estaba preparada y lista para salir puntualmente, incluso un viernes por la noche. La comida estaba muy caliente y a la par con otras comidas para llevar chinas en el norte de Cardiff y en los restaurantes chinos. Al principio fue difícil decidir por adelantado un pedido, ya que no pudimos encontrar un menú en línea, pero ahora he adjuntado fotos de su menú más reciente que tal vez sea útil para otros en el futuro.

Our regular Chinese takeaway, always good food. Pleasant staff and reasonable prices. Fried beef with mushrooms is excellent and Vegetable Chow Mein is a good option for veggies.

Vivimos local y han probado unos cuantos para llevar chino en los cuatro años que hemos estado aquí. Encontramos Casa Mandarin para ser la mejor degustación y con mejor relación calidad-precio de todos los locales que hemos probado, así que nos hemos vuelto 4 o 5 veces desde la primera vez y siempre disfrutamos de la comida. La única pega es que tienes que recoger, ya que no proporcionan el envío, pero aparte de eso está bastante bien!

Me and my family have been ordering from Mandarin House for years and have never been disappointed! Their food is gorgeous and such good value for money! We live quite close too and it's always ready to pick up quite quickly! Excellent food!

I used this takeaway a few weeks ago for the first and last time. It is local to me as I have recently moved, had various Chinese dishes one of which contained a well trimed fingernail, I then rang the take away to see if something could be sorted but all I got was please prove it was one of ours. So no customer service at all I would not eat from this takeaway again and certainly would not recommend this takeaway

We are regulars at Mandarin and are lucky to live nearby. The food is alway exceptional. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but at least you know everything is 100% fresh and cooked to order. A delivery service would be great but it's well worth the drive to collect. Keep up the good work mandarin!

This is probably our closest Chinese so we go there from time to time. We also like the Great China and Top Oriental. The thing about the Mandarin is that it is really cheap and the food is ready quickly. The only downside is that there menu is a little limited with few starters. They also don't do King Prawns in batter which happens to be one of my favourite dishes.
