Mamma's Fish And Chips in North Ayrshire

got the king rib supper it didn't taste the same as before there was no flavour to it the paper it was in was full of grease the batter it's self fell off a bit disappointed especially if you were looking forward to it I know there were new fryers put in recently 😳

chips weren't the warmest but fish was freshly cooked and roasting

Ordered 2 bags of chips. Order details confirmed it was in its way. Still no delivery after 1.5hours. Phoned the shop to be told it hadn’t even left the shop yet. Seemingly very busy and it is 21.20pm?

we got a message saying the order was delivered phoned the Mamas they said it was because it had left the shop but it was still half an hour late not amused

Food was delivered 45 mins before time slot ...chips were cold and greasy ...was as if they had been sitting in the fryer for ages!! Not happy with this order

10 minutes late but I can honestly say it was well worth the wait,food was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and very fresh. Highly recommend.

my food hasn't been delivered and says it has over 20 mins ago the restraint has said it has been delivered this is shocking.

Ordered at 6.50 didn't get it till 8.50pm 2hours late absolutely terrible no apologies either and just got a message to say the restaurant isn't going to give any money back for delayed order terrible service

but they need to check the order as I only got one butter roll when I ordered 4 butter rolls

To much salt and pizza and chips soggy

Part of the order was missing resulting in having to go to the shop to pick up the missing rolls. Rest of the order was correct and good quality.

Chips were cold and potatoes were clearly rotten. Some chips were tiny little crisps. Sausage was okay.

Mamma's was always a great place for a fish supper, guaranteed no bones, well that's the 3rd I've had full of bones no soggy batter, won't be back. My dug eat thefish

Last week our order was good. This week Friday night the fish in my supper was very oily and the batter was dry and solid. Got impression it had been in the hot shelf for hours. Very disappointed.

Chips were hard and really pointy like needles and husband got fritters next day oh geezo they were greasy as anything dripping and pure orange he had one made him ill and so thin.

Pizza was ok. Fish was overdone and dried up. Chips could have been better, had been sitting a while. mostly ends and burnt/overdone. Not great this time. Much better when cooked fresh. Delivery took 1.5 hours which was quite long for a Wedbesday

Fish is not just as tasty as it usually is. Unfortunately, they forgot my salt and vinegar . Couldn't see a selection button for tartar sauce .Fritters are really nice and chips lovely .

Got a delivery. Of chicken supper, sausage supper , fish supper, fritters and two fritter rolls cheese n curry. Delivered. This was amazing. Really hot. Remembered extra salt and vinegar. I go at least once a week and we get deliveries too I’ve never had a bad meal/snack. Love the place since I was a kid going in with my gran 30odd years Keep up the good work.

Waited over an hour for food to be delivered, no communication that it was going to be late, I had to phone them after an hour of waiting to check my order had been received, then when finally arrived it was lukewarm and order was wrong!

I placed order it said 12:45-1:05 so that suited for delivery. I usually phone but the phone was off! Food was delivered at 12:15, between 30-45 mins early. This was ordered for someone’s lunch hour so by time they got it was cold. I only ordered because it had the appropriate time I needed. Never had any problems in past

This was my first order with you, and I can assure my last. Macaroni was spot on, but the chips were awful. My portion was nothing but crispy bits. Very disappointed.

Payed £6.50 for a chicken nugget supper. Only received the nuggets.
