Maguires in Banbridge

Not good at all, tasteless! Fish was like cardboard and chips not much better! Will not be back! Awful meal, do not go there, it’s really not great!

Just made at 8.55pm and they took my order. I ordered a steak kebab on pitta and a single sausage. The kebab is not bad and filling. The pork sausage was golden and with a few chips very nice. At £6.75 for both it is fair pricing. Always busy here. Try it.

I like to pop in here when passing as it is so handy to the A1 to nip back on again. I ordered a steak kebab,with salad on pita with kebab sauce and a little hot chilli also. As usual it was good and tasty. Just right for a snack. Friendly staff. Good large chip shop variety menu. Highly recommended. Reasonable price.

Friendly,clean,efficient staff. Just had their fresh made onion rings and a battered sausage. Very nice hunger stopper. Portions good and always a few chips thrown in. Always busy at take away.

Because of virus it is take away only at present. I got a steak kebab with pita bread and salad with kebab sauce and a wee bit of chilli sauce to spice it up. At £4.00 it is very reasonable. It is not massive but so appetising and tasty. Try it. They serve usual chippy fare. Maguire's is friendly and consistent.

I have been frequenting Maguire's in Dromore for many years and the consistency of the food has always second to none.Very extensive menu and very affordable prices.The staff are always courteous and very attentive to the customers needs.This is very much a family run outlet and is steered by the Maguire family.Garth and Stuart Maguire are very much at the forefront of the business alongside Garths wife and Stuart's partner.I called in last week and had the breaded cod freshly prepared by Garth,nectar.On occasion there is fresh haddock brought in on Wednesdays by Elmores, the famous fish supplier.The one fish not on the menu is one of my favourites Plaice.Visit Maguire's and support the local business community.

It takes a lot to put me off chips, but these were inedible: stodgy, soggy, greasy and brown. Really old chips re-heated and/or old frying oil. Service & cleanliness could be better too. Utterly disgusting - I won’t be back.

I know from past experience it can be a bit rough and ready. But I was hungry and saw they do kebabs. I ordered a steak kebab with salad,kebab sauce and hot chilli sauce also. At just 4 pounds it is a bargain. It was really nice and better than most kebab shops. They do a fish supper special for under 4 pounds also. I will call again.

Ordered a well done Large chip, pastie and a large tub of chicken gravy. After getting my order and walking out I realised there was only 2 parcels not 3. Looked in and the large chip and tub of gravy had become a super chip. Went back in and said excuse me I ordered my chips n gravy separate, the guy replied I didn't take your order, I said yes I know but this isn't what I ordered, he said it says super chip on the docket. Well I didn't say super chip and his mum shouted from the back just change it. No apology nothing. The chips which I wanted Well done, where in for mere minutes n when I got home where mostly raw in the middle and got a small tub of gravy instead of large.

Tried here for a change and this must have been the worst ever. 2 very small fish which seemed to have been fried and fried again. Hardly edible and straight into the bin. Soggy chips and onion rings which were more batter than onion. Watch a staff member bring pasties and battered sausages from the kitchen to the frier held against a grubby fleece which age continually rubbed her hands against. Not much for hygiene!!! Will stay clear and I’d advise anyone to do the same.

Possibly the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Dry, non existent chips. The fish...well I think it’s fish, nothing white inside to prove it, just horrid. I’m wondering if they just refried last nights offerings. The dog is getting fed well tonight..I am hungry. Avoid!!!!

Great wee takeaway chip shop in Dromore. Highly recommend for those times you just aren't in the mood to cook.

Called here recently and had fish and chips- delicious, pleasant staff and food cooked fresh and very tasty.

Very good takeaway and you always get way more than you can eat. Small fish and chip excellent value and plenty!

Use this chippy every now and then, usually a huge pile of chips that easily would feed two and a large piece of fish. Tonight’s offering wouldn’t feed a cat!! Shockingly small portion of chips and a piece of fish that looked like a biggish fish finger and a rotten one at that!!!!!

We have supported this family business since they opened at least once a week. These past 2 weeks the Fish weighed less than 160g. Last Saturday I said to son Stewart about it and he said I should I brought it back!! I said we lived 4 miles away & he walked away from me!! We were spending between £20-30 each week and the way I was treated was very disappointing. I have read a few other reviews & I can see I am not the only one with issues.

Ordered three cheese burgers from Maguires...all totally burnt. Tried to ring them but phone always off the hook!! Very expensive for burnt food.

Ya ha sido abierto ME Maguires utilizada regularmente ya que siempre fue muy agradable. Últimos tiempos, sin embargo han sido extremadamente decepcionante. Filete de pollo hamburguesa fue hecha y pequeñas salchichas, patatas crudas y recientemente una renovada sabía orden equivocado y hamburguesas eran frías con un bun untoasted. Sin duda no volveremos.

Pedimos 5 hamburguesas y 3 chips de Maguires para una familia de 5. Pasamos alrededor de £21 para la misma. Cuando llegué a casa 20 minutos más tarde, me enteré de que estaba teniendo una hamburguesa corto... Sólo me dieron 4 hamburguesas!! Por lo tanto, tuve que cada uno a una bolsa de patatas fritas en su propia para la cena... Menos la hamburguesa!

Un familiar en Dromore, Chip Tienda County. El personal es muy amable. Gran pescado tradicional & Chips con muchos otros artículos de comida en el menú. Grandes porciones de tamaños para el precio. La comida no grasienta. Bien merece una visita si buscas buena comida chippie. El mejor de la ciudad!

Un buen "fish and chips" con mucha variedad. Este es el único lugar en el que me dan comida "chippy" desde ya que no grasienta y sabe encantador! También hacer ofertas de almuerzo

When coming home from a couple of days we called for a quick tea to bring home there menu is good and you don't have to wait to long the portions are good and well priced

Maguires is a very efficient, family run chip shop and I have eaten from here many times. There is a wide range of food available on the menu including regular specials. Service is quick and food is very reasonably priced. The food itself is warm, well cooked and very tasty. If hungry when passing through Dromore call in, you won't be disappointed and will probably have enough left for supper!!

We always go to Maguires on Saturday the service in quick and food is always great. It's in Dromore square so it is nice and handy to get to. Overall would definitely recommend

My family all love this chippy in Dromore...the portion sizes are so big. We eat from this chippy most Saturaday nights.

Fish and Chicken G are always very good, thou the odd time the chicken portions are small!! Staff are very pleasant and helpful but the owner would never nod or say hello. At times when busy I feel the chips are not cooked enough.

This is my favourite chippie ever. My usual is a sliced steak supper with mushrooms, onions, peas and pepper sauce. Delicious. The prices are very reasonable under priced if anything. Well worth a visit

Bit of a rough and ready chippy. Been here a few times. Last time I got a breast of chicken. It was so shrivelled up I got little meat from the piece.Portion size good size. I agree its best chippy in Dromore but thats because the others are worse.If you are hungry and passing it will do but not egon ronay by any means.

Lovely fish plenty in portions price very good ,staff very nice and friendly. Love the lunchtime special is highly recommended

the best ever chips with huge portions and never greasy. the chicken supreme is the fav in our house. yummy.
