The food was delicious and all of the curries we had was not sitting in oil like you get in some british indian restaurants. The chef's made sure their base curry was cooked to above average perfection which then gave a flavoursome dish.Special thanks to Head Waiter Franco and the Manager Anil who catered to every request and needs for me and my family. The waiting staff were all so polite, friendly and with a sense of humour these qualities are hide to find in a some busy restaurant.Over all experience was brilliant. Would definitely recommend to first timers.

We visited your restaurant and ordered the below.Service provided was really good. At one point the person serving us came to check if our food was good. At this point I clearly said No I’m not happy with Baingan ka bharta and all I can taste is chilli powder. To this waiter responded I will just check with the chef. After that he visited the table on multiple occasions serving us with roti/ naan but did not give me a solution to the overly red chilli spiced baingan ka bharta. I checked again and he said I have informed the chef. - What’s next? Are you replacing it? Making me a new one? Am I supposed to gulp it down?Anyway we did not want to create a scene at the restaurant and decided to just mix it with Dal makhani and gulp it down even though we did not like it at all.I have been to Madhu’s Sheraton, Southall and had Madhu’s catering services for our family programs on multiple occasions and always had good food.I am sorry to say yesterday was not one of the best experiences in terms of food.

The food was absolutely amazing. From the starters to the desserts the quality and taste was outstanding. My favourite starter was the ‘zeera chicken’. Sanjay was most hospitable, humble and welcoming, and it was a pleasure to meet his acquaintance. The staff were friendly made us feel welcome. I highly recommended Madhu's restaurant.

This review is for Madhus in Harvey Nichols. I’d booked for 8 people and confirmed beforehand whether it was halal or not. They’d confirmed that all meats were halal and there is no pork on the menu. They do serve alcohol though.We went for my daughters birthday meal and ordered a variety of dishes. The service was fantastic, Kishore and Sayisha were awesome. I also met Sandip and Tony, and upon asking for some karak chai, was kindly provided with some as a taster for possible addition to current menu- you should add it, it was awesome!If like us you prefer to sit round a table, book in advance, you could sit on the bar and watch your nan and meats being cooked on the grill.All in all, I will definitely be back, I loved it.

The range of food and depth of spice differs from the usual Indian restaurants in England, which makes it something to look forward to. That said, there are couple of aspects the restaurant should work on. The Papadoms still had an oily sheen, which would not have been visible had the serving been left a minute.The Tandori Mix Grill used to be brought up as a sizzle dish, which meant your hair smelt of it well after you left the place but you knew it was hot. This time, it was on a serving plate, which is much better but was just warm so the food needs to be hotter. Chicken breast has been swapped for chicken thighs paneer added. Both are a welcome change.Hadi Kheema and Rogan Josht have improved as they were less oily this time.We ate on a Friday 1930 with most downstairs tables were taken and a party happening upstairs.One comment about the takeaways/deliveries - we ate here just after lockdown and the take-out/delivery stream was constant and obvious. Although there were a number of bags going to the front door this time, this was discreet and as far as I am concerned, did not detract from the eat-in experience.

We had been looking forward to dining at Madhu’s for a while now but were so disappointed with the experience.4 tables were taken as it was only 6:15pm, 4 waiters floating about doing nothing. They were the mostinattentive bunch I’ve come across. They seemed pre-occupied with take-sways at the expense of in-house diners.There were glasses on tables so you’d expect water to be served as standard, no - had to ask.Food was bland and tasted very commercial (like from a jar). Two dishes were different but tasted the same. Cocktail tasted watered down and flavourless. I appreciated them taking it off the final bill. We had an amazing meal across the road at Kulcha Express a few weeks previously. Food was great and service was genuinely hospitable, at a quarter of the price too.Madhu’s market themselves at the higher end of the restaurant scale so you naturally expect good service and a memorable food experience. Sadly, they failed to deliver.

Not what it used to be, only focus is on takeaways and deliveries, food looks and tastes stale, bulk cooked and super oily. Service is slow and inefficient. Again focus on deliveries. There are much cheaper options across the road and much better service. Sad to see another Indian restaurant hit the dirt... There was nothing that will bring me or anyone back here, food or service. Please don't waste time and money here!!!

I ordered takeaway a veg dish, and at home when I unboxed food it was a nonvegetarian dish. Very disaapointment.

I ordered online and utilised what thought a great value extra, the ability to specify when you order how you like your food cooked, eg. Less oil, salt or spices etc.I requested less oil and the chicken and lamb dishes were full of oil sitting on the top, when I called to complain, I was told this was the norm as pre cooked already and you cannot avoid the oil? So why give the option on your takeaway online menu.A minor apology and no concerns met from the management, I won’t be going here again!

Whilst I am not a frequent partaker of takeaways, our recent 'madhusathome' experience was exceptional.The process is simple and straightforward, allowing you to express preferences e.g. less salt, spice, no peppers etc, via a dedicated website, and our order, ( a collection ) ,was managed and readied in a timely and very professional manner. The food was packed and transported without any leakages, still warm enough to serve upon reaching home some 30 minutes later.Although there was an option to have a delivery, as they cover a generous radius , I chose to collect as I was in the vicinity . Service was with a smile, so much so that the staff recognised and remembered me from a previous visit to Madhu's Sheraton  almost a year ago, and in some detail. They were energetic and cordial, fully observing the current guidelines, and even an offer of assistance to help bring 4 bags laden with food to the car.  That level of service in hospitality is rare in my experience, and goes a long way towards customer loyalty and retention. The food itself was cooked to perfection, and our individual requests on one or two items were accommodated. I know it is not easy replicating a dish served in a restaurant setting versus a dish served via a takeaway method, but nevertheless, dishes like the paneer tikka,aloo tikki, chaat,kebabs,chilli paneer,tadka dall, dall makhani,baingan bartha ( my personal favourite)  biryani, butter chicken, and the naan selections all met our needs and expectations, and even the accompanying complimentary garden salad,  was of a very high quality, fresh and not the usual tired and limp lettuce something which in other establishments is often an afterthought. And to compliment the starters and main courses, an excellent finale was the gulab jamun and gajar halwa, we wouldn't be punjabis if we didn't enjoy the 'mitha' ( sweet ) at the end.So all in all , full marks, couldn't really find fault with the ordering, the chef's execution of the food, the presentation and service all packaged neatly and thoughtfully, ease of pick up ,with an online discount as well , and excellent value for money. Good, Better, Best.  I believe that despite the unprecedented challenges faced by the sector this year, strong brands with a quality product, consistent delivery driven with passion and belief will survive and continue to grow.Best wishes to all the hardworking staff not only at Madhus but also everywhere else in the industry. Decided to take advantage of their September deal of up to £10 off per person but didn't realise this was based on a minimum £25 spend. Anyway, ordered 3 starters and 3 mains, naan and a glass of wine for 3 of us. Worked out to around £25 each after discount applied. Food was quite tasty. Could have had a little more depth of flavour but we didn't know until we had ordered it otherwise could have asked for it. Will know to ask that next time. Quantity of food was ok but a little on the low side for my expectation. This was based on the cost of each dish, Felt it is a little over priced for what you get and I've had better flavours in local restaurants that offer better value for money. Maybe because they are a large caterer and heavily advertise, costs have to be covered somewhere. I agree with what people say about the staff. They were courteous and attentive and food was served quickly. Nice atmosphere and COVID measures adhered to so made you feel comfortable. Nice to have tried but at their usual price, I would rather stick to some of the more familiar places I visit when I go to Southall.

My wife and i came here on Valentine's night and had an amazing meal. The food was beautiful and the ambiance complemented it. Brilliant service from our waiter Franco and we will definitely be returning soon. This was well worth the drive down from High Wycombe.

Our first visit to Madhu’s for a Valentine’s Day meal was a great success. We were greeted warmly and the service from all the staff, particularly our waiter Augustine, was excellent. We had the special Valentine feast and everything was full of flavour and absolutely delicious. We will return!

From the moment we walked in our every need was catered for. From the delicious food to the attentive service, of note Franco looked after us particularly well. I would highly recommend Madhu’s to anybody, from veterans of Indian cuisine to those looking to venture out!

Excellent service, excellent food and great ambience. Had 43 guests and everyone, from elderly to kids, enjoyed the food. Our waiter, Franco and Rahul were so caring and friendly. I already had my friends saying that they would be visiting Madhu's again. The arrangements made were simply great - the manager, Khush, was very understanding and patient with me as I had a hundred questions - giving him a call everytime for anything I was unsure about prior to the function! Also, had a guest who had gluten and dairy allergy and the team were understanding and made sure that guest was aware of the ingredients in the dishes. All the guests were very well looked after and catered for. All the arrangements made were discussed with me and then finalised. I would recommend Madhu's to anyone looking for a more personalised and homely touch, from food to atmosphere found at the restaurant. Will be visiting again for sure. Thanks once again to Khush and his team.

It was an awesome experience dining at the restaurant on thursday evening. The food was absolutely delicious and the service next to none. There were two members of staff who were outstanding during this namely Rahul and Rohan.They were v attentive and helpful throughout and v pleasant. We had vegetarian food and the Mogo was superb. V clean and lovely ambience. I would recommend this restaurant.

We all friends went here for a random meal. Good food especially lamb chops & methi chicken and excellent Service in particular by Franco. I will recommend this place to our other friends for a casual day out !!!!

We visited the restaurant for a family Birthday Party. The service and food were excellent. On the day I received a courtesy phone call to confirm any changes to the booking. On arrival we were shown to our private table and given a fantastic waiter called Agustine. He was excellent and very professional. We will visit again soon.

Well I wanted to have a meal but even though the website said open at 6 PM it was still closed at 7 40 !

Weekdays service is much quicker. Staff is great! I'd give 5 star to Rahul there who served us. I'd suggest Pre-booking for weekends. Parking is at a little walk but its a very busy area so cant complaint. If using parking facility do not forget to let staff know about your car registration as soon you arrive at Madhu's

! visited Madhus 5th dec with some clients. it was their first time there. feedback was extremely positive. they thoroughly enjoyed the flavor ( not the chillies) of the dishes chose and the variety that was on offer.

I used Madhu's event management and catering services for a wedding event last month. They are extremely good at what they do. They are able to predict issues before they happen and come up with quick solutions to any problems that may arise. I would highly recommend them.

Always recommending a restaurant to friends is difficult but not in this case. Madhu's is consistently good, the food delicious spiced to perfection.

On recommendation 7 of use came to Madhu's, and had a wonderful evening. The food was cooked to perfection and delicious, also loved the many typed of popadum's.

Good food, great service and great selection of drinks. Definitely stands out and is worth going out of your way to visit.

My wife and I have been eating at Madhus for around 18 months now we are never disappointed, Rahul is a significant part of a great team we travel 40 minutes and since we have found Madhu's we have never eaten at another Indian restaurant as we do not want to be disappointed

We were totally blown away by the food. Madhu’s was recommended by a friend and it is such a treat. Just top notch cuisine. Unfaultable. We couldn’t help but over order so a delicious lunch awaits tomorrow. The service was super friendly too. Franco was knowledgeable and gave us great advice. We will be going back for sure!

After a long cold walk through London Madhus the restaurant was warm and welcoming. We were greeted by host who invited us to our seat giving us a taste of luxury and warm elegance. The first class service was attentive from Franco , with helpful smiles and an in depth knowledge of the menu. We very much enjoyed our meal as well as the experience, moreover we will in the future be dining there again. I recommend the awesome chicken tikka masala , a classic. Many thanks to the chef and the front of house team for making us enjoy a wonderful evening.

We came to Southall for the first time with our Indian friend who immediately recommended Madhus (one of her family’s regular dining spots) for our early dinner after shopping.

Franco took care of us. Asked to provide review, but the food was excellent and the service charming. The murgh (chicken) mehti was something else. Will go back.

Went to Madhus Southall for my husband's 60th. We had the upstairs area exclusively as a party of 50+ and we had an amazing evening. Great food and service. The manager, Khush, took great care of our event from start to finish with such professionalism and attention to detail.

It is a small place and a bit cramped. The food was delicious. It is one of the few restaurants that is opened late at night. I ordered a Rumali Roti with a mixed grill. The grill had paneer, lamb chops, chicken, and big piece of curried shrimp. It was all a great combination and the meat was well marinated, tender and easy to eat. The service staff was pretty friendly and it was an enjoyable dinner experience on a rainy night. They have some good looking mixed drinks on the menu. Price is slightly on the expensive side.

I took a party of 8 to Madhu’s for my birthday and we had a sharing set menu. Every single dish that was brought to our table was delicious. We had the best time and received the loveliest treatment from the staff. 100% will be going back again.

I don't live in Southall but it is a very unpleasant place... I came across Madhus name from a wedding.. so i decided to visit this establishment. I felt as soon as I walked in the place me and my friend was judged as poor students with no money, I can say this is not the case. The manager staff did not take care of us... food was poor, other customers recieved food before us, no apologies from staff.

Great restaurant really good service and fantastic food a reasonable price. Mudhus is in southall. But well worth the drive there to have food a good clean environment. I would strongly advise for any occasion.

We went to Madhus with a big group and the food was great, as usual, Franco was a great waiter and we really enjoyed the evening.

We used Madhu’s service as caterers for my sisters wedding. I suspected before hand that the food would be good, but I was rather surprised how much the food actually exceeded my expectations. The starters, more specifically the lamb chops and grilled fish were tasty, succulent and chewy (in a good way). The mains were been better. I decided to opt for chicken this time (with bits of lamb on the side of my plate) and the fact that I couldn’t stomach deserts because of how full I was is a testament as to how brilliant the mains were.

First time in Southhall and having an impression that this is where you get best of north indian food and their name comes as one of the good rated online so we decided to try them. It turned out to be just okay .

I am from the US, and I attended a wedding in London (Hilton Terminal 5 at the end of May for my friend Saumya), that was catered by Madhu’s. I am still blown away by SahilBhai’s amazing attention to detail and care. My husband and I are both vegan, and I also am gluten free due to Celiac’s . SahilBhai ensured that my husband and I had a chance to enjoy all you delicious food at all the wedding events. He was able to help point out allergens in the ingredients for all the dishes, and he even had his chef prepare vegan gluten free (hing/asafetida-free) channa masala for us! In fact, at the reception he found and brought me vegan gluten free bread, and event gifted me the amazing coffee you use! He is incredible. I have never met such caring, attentive, compassionate, helpful leaders! Thank you so so so much for making our experience in London even better. If you are ever visiting the United States, we would love to meet you, SahilBhai. My friends who were getting married also said they loved the help of SahilBhai and Arjun! I had their food in wedding event. It was simply superb. Everything fried items, drinks, juices, curries, bbq, rice and seafood was very delicious.

It has been quite a while since I last visited Madhu’s Southall, well I was not to be disappointed as I was meeting a friend in Southall so we decided to meet at Madhu’s for Business Lunch and what an excellent choice from Papadoms to pani puri to butter naan to rogan gosht to dall makhni madhu to Bhindi masala to tandoori roti were all excellent Will be back soon for sure Very Good Service too.

One of the best Indian restaurants, where diners come from far and wide. I’m not a vegetarian, but the BBQ’d Paneer was to die for !

A trip to Southall is always reminiscent of a trip to India for me. It looks right, feels right, sounds right and smells right. So it goes with Madhu’s. From the warm welcome to the tasteful decor and the delicious food, it’s all of a piece. Franco looked after us well, providing cheerful advice as we sat down. His recommendations were spot on. We were a party of 6 and all shared starters and main courses so I can say that it was all to be recommended. I chose lamb samosas (filo not short crust, and almost as good as Rita’s down the road. Main course was a prawn curry. Unusual as it was tangy and smokey but so good. A selection of poppadums was novel beyond the usual plain or spicy models. Good Indian beers and a reasonable wine list to follow. 6 happy diners.

We went to Madhus Southall to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday with family and friends. Khush, Franco and their team's hospitality was excellent. They were very attentive to all our guests needs and ensured everyone thoroughly enjoyed the party. Needless to say, food was amazing and on point! Thanks Khush, Franco and the team!

Madhu's were the catering used for The Asian Awards at The Grosvenor House Hotel 12 April 2019. We had a delicious three course meal served by their staff in their Madhu's uniform. I will def go to the restaurant itself very soon.

We came as a family to Madhus to celebrate a birthday and the service here was fantastic, as well as the food. In particular, I want to praise Franco working in Madhus, who was a gentleman with his service. He treated us all very nicely and also told us about the special complimentary drinks offer the resteraunt was offering. The food here was absolutely delicious, in particular the lamb! Went there in the beginning of March for a dinner. The food was fresh and delicious. The lamb was soft and delicious. They have tremendous vegetarian variety . The naan was superb. The hostess Zeenat made sure that we didnt have to wait. Excellent service provided by Franco . If you like top quality Indian food, this is the place to go.

Absolute top service by Khush and his team who really couldn’t have done more to make Dad’s 80th a special night with 30 guests.

I went on March 7th with my family, we were treated really well by Khush Singh and other staff members (was pleasantly surprised!) they gave us complimentary drinks upon arrival and the food was also very tasty! I would certainly recommend a visit!

Went to Madhus expecting to be wowed...came out so VERY DISAPPOINTED..ordered salmon starter and malai chicken which had too much salt i had to take a hypertension tablet after..main meal my wife ordered methi chicken which wasn't even breast..it was off the thigh.it had fatty bits in it...poor quality cheap cuts of meat.i ordered lamb masala which wasnt as bad still tracws of fat...ramali roti was perfect and nans tasted great..kush the manager was very accommodating but it wasn't his fault...sanjay needs to look at his quality of produce again...its dosent meet up to the grand truck road in woodford east london...

As my family had come here before, they had recommended going again, and especially on a busy night (New Years Eve) the service was brilliant from Kush Singh, who is the Restaurant manager, food was on point, service was amazing, can not complain, very attentive staff.

I was impressed with the service and quality of goods for the inaugural Chinese Restaurant and Takeaway Awards. 101% improvement on the feedback I gave on their BCA event. Keep up the good work.

Booked are table 10 days before arriving at 7.30 pm 20 8th dec only to be told they had no booking for us ,after a long discussion we were given a table but not the one we booked.ruined are evening when we were suppose to be celebrating my daughters birthday/did not order desserts as the family just wanted to get out of there .went another establishment to finish of our evening .this has happened to us on 2 other occasions recently

This was our first visit to Madhus for several years and we were not disappointed - from the friendly welcome we received to the stylish décor, helpful staff and delicious food, everything was excellent. There is a great choice of vegetarian main courses, including a number of unusual dishes. This restaurant is not cheap, but the high quality makes it good value for money. We will certainly be returning soon!

Excellent food. Staff was very polite, accommodating and very knowledgeable. First time I have tried Madhus food was at a friends wedding. They catered for 500 guests and food was brilliant, which I why I wanted to try it again on a smaller scale. Absolutely delicious

Have always loved Madhus however something seems to have changed.

We went here for the wake of a dear friend Laura and as always the staff were immaculate, polite , very knowledgable about their menu and I can only say every visit has been faultless

Smart restaurant. We ate upstairs. The food was good. Started with a couple of shared dishes with pappadums and dips. Service was good except all the mains and sides arrived almost at once, we weren't sure which was which and the young lady did'nt explain very well. As there were seven of us, things were a bit confused for a while. Not too expensive and the lager is lovely. Toilets nice and clean. We'd go back.

We got married 2months ago and we used Madhus as our organizers/caterers. People are still talking about the delicious food and the impeccable service. Agha especially deserves a mention for his professionalsm and kindness throughout the whole wedding process. You can't pick a better place than Madhus!

4 of visited on Monday, great food ,great service, will definitely visit again. I don't usually eat a lot of meat but wow that mixed grill starter was so good

I recently attended a wedding where Madhus was catering. I had great expectations as I had heard that this was a top notch caterer. I was so disappointed with the food and the service. Whilst the food was served on a silver Thali, which I believe costs upwards of £70 per head, the food was cold, the naans were burnt, and some Thalis were missing food items. Tables weren’t served together, so some of us got our food whilst others had to wait. I have not had such poor quality food anywhere else. Definitely to be avoided. Better off going to McDonald’s

I have been to wedding party in July this year where Madhus were the caterers. I thought will have good food but it was completely opposite

Lived in Southall my whole life never been here decided to get a family dinner takeout. The complete meal was just full of Oil food was not nice at all, first and last time I will go to this place. Terrible.

Their booking system is terrible. I corresponded with them via email regarding my families dietary requirements with the date and time of the booking . They assured me they can cater for us and they've made the reservation. Less than 2 hours before the child's birthday dinner they confirmed the wrong date for the booking with no apology and said that they could not meet the dietary requirements, LESS THAN 2 HOURS BEFORE THE EVENT. Their disorganisation left us with no time for replanning and ruined our event. Shame on you Madhus for making the girl cry on her birthday and making her feel unwelcome to your restaurant due to her dietary requirements.

We had gone to Southall to try an Indian eatery with open minds. Although we had identified a restaurant which had gathered good reviews , the look from outside didn't impress us . Might have been good , but we wanted a more decent place. On the same road on the opposite side we located Madhus and stepped in.
