This a very good chippy. Fish batter not greasy. Chips great. This will be our local favourite now.

I had asked for a bottle of Fanta lemon and got a tin, which I don't really like and is cheaper than a bottle. I did get a refund so... The food was not very warm either . Had to heat it up. Not ideal

First time ordering. Food portions were big and hot lovely food. Will definitely order again and would highly recommend. We normally use the same chip shop every week but good to try others as they are just as good if not better

Not very happy with food quality the chips were under cooked and still hard inside and burger was burnt on one side

Chips were amazing portion size was good. Fish was pipping hot,delicious, portion size was good. Pastie was OK a bit spicy however was still enjoyable. Everything came with a few chips. Highly recommended Maddies.

New customer, food was all lovely, only missing 1 star as the box containing the curry chip with onion and mushrooms was just over half filled. Again the whole order arrived on time, hot and tasted lovely, just hate when a portion is so small to not fill its container, just looks bad and feel like we have missed out on what we should have recieved.

Portion sizes are big.gravy is just amazing my daughter takes a spoon to it! The food arrives pipping hot.The burgers are a generous size and add ons are available. This is my new favourite place to go.

Not sure what happened tonight usually nice but chicken burger had no sauce no salad and was more batter than chicken. The chips were white as a sheet looked like they’d been cooked for 30 seconds and were tasteless.

Never had a bad meal from this chippie… lots of care taken to produce good food every time

First time ordering and definitely won't be the last! Food was very hot on arrival which took around half hr from ordering to delivery, great portion sizes and absolutely not greasy like another local chippy who's food needs 'wringing' out before eating (Victoria) and the prices are very reasonable (for the whole order which was to feed 4 people, I'd have expectedto pay alot more) Lady on phone who took my order was polite, friendly and is a credit to Maddies. Easy to pay via cash or card at the door so no having to rush to a cash machine. A++++

Portions of chips are very small,never used to be but the quality is second to none, bigger portions would defo earn the full 6 stars 🌟

Some of food comes with sauce but it don't give you option for any . Maybe I didn't see it but maybe a revamp of the menu on here

Just a poor experience chicken strips were burnt black no chips at all with the child's sausage or pastie bit mean like defo better chippies in Carrick won't be back.

I only tried Maddies for the first time maybe a month or so ago and have ordered quite a few times already, every time I’ve ordered something it’s been correct, arrived earlier than stated and is always piping hot and the most important but it is really great food, so tasty, highly recommend this chippy!

Driver got list twice. Cannot comment on quality of the food as it was cold and went in the bin. Got an online food refund, no problem. Not for the delivery, though, which I think was the problem.

Beautiful food & extremely friendly staff

Drove past this place over a month ago and thought that I would give it a go as it was real close to my new home. Very glad that I did as all my family were very impressed with the quality of the food and the way we were treated by the staff. Nothing too much trouble and very friendly Portion size was great and the food was cooked to perfection ( Fish and Chips) needless to say we have been back several times already .
