Out for Mums birthday and all had the 3 course meal deal. Bargain at £16.95 each. Wife loved her calamari starter. I went for meatballs which were amazing. Wifey loved the risotto main. I had v fresh chicken and mushroom pasta dish which was so tasty. Profiteroles to finish - stunning. Service great throughout. We will go back !

Lovely meal in a beautiful and restaurant. I had the meatballs and spaghetti marinara whilst my husband had the mushrooms and calzone. We also had the tomato, chilli garlic bread between us - oh my goodness - it was outstanding!We were so full we couldn't finish our mail meals, and it was a nice touch that Valentino and his colleague double checked that everything was ok! Everything was more than ok - we were just so full of amazing food!The service was great, Valentino was both friendly and professional - a rare quality to be able to strike such a balance.This was our fist visit to Lugana but it certainly won't be our last.

A lovely evening. As always the food is fabulous and the staff really friendly. One of our favourite places! We love the smoked salmon with prawns, bruschetta, and seafood risotto. All followed by a great Tiramisu x

The food at Lugana is fantastic, whether you eat in or have a take out. I always find the service is excellent. The people who work there are always polite and friendly. I can’t fault the restaurant, we always have a nice time. Thanks Val and all your staff. Dave.

Visited last night with the hubby. The fillet steak and homemade chips were fantastic!! The chef went round to each table at the end of the evening and asked how everything was. I thought this was a nice touch. Looking forward to going again soon.

The restaurant is just the prettiest with its centerpiece ligjtinh and warm welcoming colours. Staff are so friendly and go well out of their way to make sure your visit is perfect. The food is to die for, really full of flavour, best itialian i've had in a long time. Marco the owner and head chef even toll the time to check everyone was enjoying their food. Really nice personal touch. I will be returning.

4 of us went on Thursday evening for early bird menu , booking and seating arrangements handled really well , food excellent it must be said , service also excellent ; not been here for 18 months but will be back soon.

what amazing food and amazing staff, went for the early bird menu last night and a bit of a midweek treat as its my birthday Saturday. Meal was delicious and the homemade creme brulee was to die for!!!! well done to everyone faultless on every level!!!!!

Visited tonight for a lovely meal with my mum. As usual absolutely brilliant- fabulous attentive and friendly team. Food was fabulous and my mum loved her usual Pornstar Martini. Covid measures in place and I’d definitely recommend Lugana for an evening out. Great value for money and one of my favourite places x

A nice restaurant with nearby parking. Garlic bread was lovely, but we were very disappointed with portabello mushroom starter with only one mushroom and far too much goats cheese. The main meal of lasagne was also very nice. Had it not been for the mushroom we would have awarded 4. With plenty of choice on the menu, yes, we are happy to try Lugana again, with a different starter.

Despite living in the area this was our first visit to the restaurant … and I can honestly say that it won't be our last! We visited on a Tuesday evening as part of the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme and it was wonderful. It was really busy but the tables were well spaced out and we felt very safe. The menu is extensive (it took us a while to choose!) and all the food was delicious and well presented.Despite it being busy the staff were friendly and attentive so a big thanks to them!

Visited as a family for the first time and loved it! Beautiful food (with lots of choice) and we felt safe as there were COVID safety precautions in place. Service was brilliant too as all staff were so friendly and efficient despite the restaurant being full. Overall such a lovely place to visit and we'll definitely be back! Couldn't recommend enough.

This is my favourite local restaurants. Great food on each of the many visits my family has made. Amazing pasta and meat/fish dishes. By all means go to Monton if you want to be seen with the in-crowd, but go to Lugana if you want proper Italian cuisine. My only complaint is they need to clean up outside a bit. Otherwise ideal

Having been coming for many years and never had anything less than a super-friendly welcome and tasty, authentic Italian food. Prices are very reasonable (notably the 3-course "Ealry Bird" menu that's actually available all evening except on Fridays) and the wine list is excellent - including a regularly changing set of specials.

WOW WOW WOW this place is amazing. We have recently moved to the area and live five minutes away what a fantastic restaurant this is. Beautiful food and the staff are so energetic and competent you can see how much care goes into this place. We are blessed with this being on our door step and can’t wait for our next outing. My self and my wife have lived and worked all over the world and to find this gem on our door step beggars belief. If you are looking for beautifully made food and authenticity look no further. Very well priced and with the current dine out deal you won’t be disappointed.

It’s Monday 3rd August 2020 and we have just had a meal for 3. The service, staff and food was fantastic. Would highly recommend and the boss’s daughter is a fantastic maître. A real credit to you 😊. Can’t wait to visit again.

Sunday treat with family. We came to the restaurant after a long lock down and was really looking forward to a nice meal. I ordered the pate and fish platter and my wife ordered the surf and turf and they were both excellent. Our grandson ordered the garlic bread and pepperoni pizza and he said they were amazing. All in all a great restaurant and will definitely be returning. We also had the olives which were complementary to start and the house red for the meal was great. The meal was finished off with a complimentary lemon cello shot.

Such a nice little restaurant, the food is amazing and at such a good price! I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to everybody I know! Thank you!

Lugana is BACK to cheer us all up during the lockdown. (Takeaways only.) Food was amazing as ever with all the usual favourites pizza, pasta, chicken, etc. And for those with a sweet tooth there amazing desserts. WE WILL BE BACK!

Me and my girlfriend decided to try Lugana restaurant after hearing so many good things about them, we ordered garlic bread, penne pasta and chicken stroganoff and a side order of chips. They gave us an option of collection or delivery but we chose collection as it was faster. I can not express enough how delicious the food was by far the best restaurant in Walkden/Worsley area definitely worth the value for money and reasonably priced for the quality of food you get . Very friendly staff and very thankful for them being open during this time. Can’t wait to re-order again and dine when it’s open as a restaurant.

Was originally planning to take my wife here for mother's day, but given the current situation we decided to order food for collection. Was pleased to hear that the full menu was available and when we called, they agreed a time for us to pick up the food. The food was ready at the time agreed. Though we miss the atmosphere of the restaurant, it was really tasty food as usual when brought home and still warm given how it was wrapped by the staff. Encourage others to take a punt and support this local gem through these troubled times. You also get 10% off the menu items when collecting.

Hello,we said we would go back monthly and we have been again as we said we would and have been more than satisfied!The welcome as we entered was really welcoming.The service was perfect.The food was absolutely delicious. Mozzarella as starters.Chicken Stroganoff and Cacciatore,mains. Fruits of the vine cheesecake and an amaretto ice cream with espresso coffee.Along with a bottle of red house wine.The chef came around to the diners as he usually does at the end of the evening which is a lovely gesture after his very busy work in his kitchen.Thank you each and every one of you. Our next monthly visit is already marked on our calendar.An extra treat for us,(all being well) is that we are booked in on Mother’s Day for lunch with family..Hope to see you then. M& T

Absolutely brilliant. This is my first and my mum’s second visit to Lugana. Will definitely come back. The food was amazing- mum has Black Pudding to start with and then pasta. Me- smoked salmon with prawns and then steak. This is my mum’s first birthday since my dad passed away and the staff made a lovely fuss of her- including a little profiterole with a candle x thanks so much to everyone especially Antonio! He was so kind and thoughtful x

We have visited this restaurant for family birthdays and New Year’s Eve and it is our family favourite. We have had a birthday here this evening and the staff are attentive with their service and the interaction with families and children is amazing, the food is outstanding and our favourite Italian. I visited Lugana for my grandparents 80th birthday! There were a group of approximately 40 of us in total. The service was fantastic, all staff very friendly and approachable even joining in with the family fun and the food was amazing!!

Went for a meal with family and friends and completely surprised by this restaurant. From the exterior you would not beleave the what lies within. Large and spacious with very attentive staff. The food was first class - will go again soon !

Table was not ready very busy though. The menus was very good and had a great selection of dishes. The service was a bit slow the place had a nice atmosphere . MY meal of duck was tasty but the duck was overcooked I did eat most of it. I did mention to the waiter when asked if everything was ok and the chef actually came out to our table and discussed the meal. Nice touch and a fee after dinner drink. Would we go back yes definitely

Always a great welcome from Valentino & the rest of the staff. You don't need to spend a fortune here but, in my opinion, you would have to spend a lot elsewhere to beat the quality of the fillet steaks here.

Having moved to the area two weeks ago we were so pleased to discover this gem so close by. All the staff were friendly, polite and attentive.

Just back from our first visit to Lugano ( recommended by some people we met at the Glasshouse in Worsley ) and it won't be our last

excellent service from start to finish a very friendly welcome and the service was superb very attentive but not over bearing a very professional showing from the front of house to the waiting team.

We came a few days ago for my brothers wedding reception and everything about the evening was fantastic! The staff were lovely from the start and dealt with the party of around 20 people easily. Food was delicious and all served in a timely way, and I was really impressed with the menu we had chosen from - a really good range of dishes and lots of veggie/vegan options too! Thanks for looking after everyone so well!

Excellent food served by excellent staff. Its a must if you haven't been before. I had steak cooked just how I asked for it. My husband had duck cooked to perfection and our friends had chicken and prawns. Couldn't fault any of it. Well done all the staff.

Attended on Sat 2nd Nov for my wife’s 60th. 13 of us descended on this restaurant and we were treated to a fantastic experience. No matter which restaurant you may attend , to get 13 steaks all cooked to different tastes with different styles and sauces all done to perfection and served at the same time is a skill in its self and a credit to the chef and the staff. From starters to sweets and coffees everything was superb.

We had my Dad's 80th birthday meal here on 25 October and were a party of 19. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. Food was excellent as usual as was the service. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely evening.

I brought my husband here for a birthday meal with friends.

Lived in the area for years but never went in, probably because of the unpleasant location and previous bad reviews. Finally visited and was pleasantly surprised, much better than I was expecting and it was full with a lively atmosphere but still able to have a conversation (just). Service good and didn't feel rushed. Food was good value and well cooked, not exactly cutting edge but a very wide choice on menu. Would go again.

Have passed the Lugana several times and never really thought about going in as from the outside it's not very imposing. Finally succumbed and are glad we did. We both ordered their Italian style fillet steaks and they were fabulous. Good choice of wine and lagers too. The staff were very helpful and always ready to help. Will come again for sure.

Gorgeous food and a lovely atmosphere. Great service. Not many nice Italians locally so was pleased to find Laguna. Not in a pretty location but once inside you wouldn’t have a clue. Have a set menu, full menu also has plenty of choice.

Have visited this restaurant several times and been extremely pleased with the experience. Last week 22 of us attended for a meal. The service was impeccable, food delicious, very friendly environment. All 22 of us gave them top stars

Not been to this restaurant since the new management took over two years ago, what an amazing transformation, from the minute you walk through the door the staff can't do enough, the restaurant has a great atmosphere, clean, decor will not disappoint. The menu choice is amazing, great prices, food arrived and wow so fresh, quality ingredients and presentation no compromise anywhere. Great choice of wines, not over expensive.

I’d personally visit here again. The food was amazing and the staff were lovely, the only issue is, is that we were waiting a while to be served and to have our check- in all fairness though there were other large parties in the restaurant. Other than that 10/10 would recommend as their food was amazing and good value for price.

Visited with 3 friends in June for dinner on a Friday night. The place looks great inside, soft lighting and modern.

Visit this restaurant a couple of times. Every time the service and food is outstanding. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The food is great quality and good sized portions. Atmosphere is great, not too loud so you can still have a conversation, but doesn’t feel quiet. All very reasonably priced. The early bird menu is offered all night, only £15 for 3 courses, absolute bargain!

We decided we would go out to dinner and thought we would try to get a table at Laguna. We booked out table and arrived promptly, we were shown to the lounge and given the menu to peruse. Shortly afterwards we were taken to out table. The service was excellent , staff were very friendly and efficient . We shared ribs for the starter And both had Lamb Henry. We scored both dishes a 10.

visited in may with friends for a meal to celebrate our golden wedding . we were greeted by a extremely nice man who escorted us to a area were we had pre dinner drinks.meal was excellent the staff all made us very welcome , and a nice touch was at the end of the evening the chef came out of the kitchen and went to all tables to ask if we enjoyed the meal. an extremely pleasurable night and we would recommend the restaurant to anyone .

Absolutely top notch a la Carte menu. Delicious lamb, venison, fillet steak, swordfish and sea bass.

A party of 25 of us visited tonight for our sister’s 50th birthday and every single one of us had an excellent evening. The staff were efficient, friendly and welcoming and the food we could not fault. We all enjoyed our meals. Even with such a large party, each course came out at the same time, with all the staff working really hard to look after us. They let us take balloons, decorations and of course the obligatory cake which was presented to our sister with a serenade of Happy Birthday. Complimentary Sambucca and Limoncello shots completed the evening nicely and a grand time was had by all. Cannot recommend this place enough - our first visit and certainly will not be our last - thank you and well done to all the team...see you soon!

I have given this an average as some of the meals were OK. Staff, when around, were friendly and polite. Pizza was OK but my friends Lasagne was dreadful. It arrived in the traditional oval dish as a good sized square of layered pasta and ragu sauce but with only a smattering of bechamel sauce around the base, most of this had congealed. Consequently, she was left with a very dry Lasagne which turned to a mushy mess as she tried to eat it. We were with friends from down south so didn't want to make a scene. I think we will be leaving this place alone for quite some time.

We went tonight with another couple arrived early so had a drink in the bar (didn’t get a menu but no issue for us) Realiy quick service once we got our table Food was fantastic apart from the cold plates with the main meals The steaks amazing and the special cod was to die for. No issues except the same waiter asked us 3 times for our booking name (bar table and paying)

Fab night at Lugana with our friends visiting from Scotland and again another great time had by all. Lovely warm friendly welcome which got the evening off too a good start. We all chose off the early bird menu which offers extensive choices something for everyone. Their house red is delicious one of the nicest reasonably priced wine I've had. The chef was very accommodating when asked to make a small change to my friends pasta dish he even came out later to ask had everything been okay nice touch. Great food, great service great night from all the team at Lugana thank you.

Absolutely fabulous meal as always. Great food, fabulous price and excellent front of house staff. Highly recommended! We will be back again and again! The onion relish with the pâté is delicious and I wish I had the recipe. My cappuccino was delicious too !!

This is the second time we've eaten here, we are not local people, but we were visiting family over the weekend and had a meal last night.

Very good food on offer but why is the service so shoddy? Shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes for someone to take a food order and that was only after asking a waitress to arrange it. Pity because you really cannot fault the food.

We have recently moved to the area and were literally venturing and going for a walk and this little gem drawn us in with some amazing smells.

Not been here for over a year but decided to visit midweek. We were amazed at the great service & authentic good food. The chef came out to see us & I shook his hand because restaurants of this quality are very thin on the ground round these parts. The service was impeccable & I understand that this has been recently taken over. We will be back!

I am a big fan of Italian restaurants, pastas, pizzas, lasagnas - everything here is homemade is clear to see, with high quality ingredients. Gets rather busy and loud, but that just adds to the charm, I've been here three times already and plan to return.

Having prebooked and pre ordered our food totally enhanced our evening all the food being served timely, hot and all deliscious. Have visited Lugana a few times and it is a really great restaurant. There is a very good menu to choose from and from Sunday to Friday there is also a really reasonably priced set menu. . The food is always excellent and the staff are friendly and go out of their way to please.. Highly recommend a visit..

Took my mum and Mother in law for a meal which we do once a month. I can only say that the two things which I look for in a restaurant ( Quality of food and good service) are certainly reached. The food was excellent and the service was superb. Thanks to all the staff for a great experience

Went here for a family meal the night before my son’s wedding.

Not a regular customer but have had a meal with friends here a few times. On last visit I was disappointed with the slow service.We waited over 30 minutes for anyone to take our order and only got attention when I asked for someone to attend to us.Although restaurant was fairly busy there seemed to be plenty of staff. Food itself was pretty good when we eventually got it.

Only been twice with my daughter but definitely will be a long term customer.The restaurant is lovely,food delicious and service great.Cant wait to come back.

We have been coming to Lugana for quite some time now and we are never disappointed. Always feels welcoming, the food is delicious and Vas is always happy to recommend a good wine to enjoy with your meal.

Been going here for many years and have to say it’s now at the best it has been for food and service. Tried others in the area but they don’t come close. New owner is very personable and has his front of house staff looking after the customers well. Excellent value and well worth a visit or 10!!

With a wide and varied menu there is something for everyone at this friendly restaurant. They are also very willing to tweak items to exactly do it your taste.
