Lotus Blossom in Belfast

Ordered crispy vegetable rolls as it states on menu that it is suitable for vegetarians, asked the server if they were vegetarian and he said yes, got home and realized after a few bites that there was pieces of chicken in them, have got from here a few times before however this was the last, been put of Chinese takeaways from the castlereagh rd as this has happened before from a place just up the road from lotus blossom, horrible horrible service.

We got a delivery from lotus blossom - honey chilli chicken and cashew prawns both delicious. Order was correct and delivered within a reasonable timeframe. They threw in some prawn crackers and it was a positive experience. Would order again.

I got takeout and was very impressed - crunchy prawn crackers & fresh vegetables. Usually prawn crackers are thin and oily and the vegetables have no crunch.

Belfast’s best Chinese!!! So so so tasty. Amazing :) staff are really friendly and food is great. Wouldn’t go anywhere else :)

Extremely poor customer service. Without going into too much detail, parts of large order not delivered and no joy at all when we tried to get it rectified. Very disappointing!

Tuvimos una comida aquí en Navidades y fue de primera calidad y realmente lo disfruté, pero desafortunadamente no esta vez. Rollos de sprint pato estaban alrededor del 1% de pato, con pasta gruesa dentro. Fideos especiales fueron aceitosas, la carne seca y sin sabor y las verduras estaban todavía sucio! Crujiente pollo estaba pasada y de nuevo pero sin sabor les daré una cosa las patatas fritas eran excelentes.

Pedí la caja de comida esta noche justo después de las 6 p.m. y la niña tomó mi orden y me dijo que no sería demasiado tarde a las 6:40 p. M. Me llamó y me dijo que había perdido mi pedido, así que se lo dije y me dijo que me lo diré directamente y luego me llamó una y otra vez a las 6; 48 p. M. Para preguntarme mi dirección y luego me dijeron que pasarían más de diez minutos antes de que reciban un conductor, así que cancelé mi pedido. No estaba contento con la forma en que me trataron. ¡La primera vez que ordeno y eso sucede es impactante!

Nos mudamos a esta zona no hace demasiado tiempo y estamos muy contentos de haber encontrado un sitio chino que era tan buena justo cruzando la carretera. El personal es muy amable, la comida es de primera calidad y me dieron un texto cuando estaba listo para la colección!Servicio de cinco estrellas y comida,, ya sea la entrega o recogida, lo recomiendo encarecidamente!

Not very clean ..more expensive than other restaurants near by an portions quite small ...although situated in good area for convenience an parking .orders prepared quickly an staff pleasant enough

It seems to get mixed reviews I guess it all depends on peoples tastes and preferences when it comes to takeaways in East Belfast, we all have our favourite and stick to it and nothing else is better :)I have been getting from this place every few weeks now since it opened the guy who originally opened it had a takeaway else where locally and when he left it, i left it as well.however I have stuck with Lotus Blossom as find it hard to fault for many reasons.The food always seems to be of a really good standard (ok there are others of similar standard) but delivery time with this place is hard to beat, usually anything within 10-30 minute period would be my delivery times and that's always a big thing when getting a takeaway.. when will it show up? :DNever had an issue with delivery being too long or order being wrong.Highly recommended.

Order was wrong and prawn crackers totally stale. Yuck! Have ordered from here before and was better so not sure what has happened to the old chef!

Lotus blossom can be really good but it also can have its bad days ..Sometimes your order can be wrong , when it is good the food is cooked well , also gives us freebies over certain money value

Title says it all . . Rude on the phone, took 2 hours to arrive and order still wrong!! Drinks warm and food cold. Terrible just terrible

The King Prawn Fried Rice with Vegetables contained about ten peas, less flavour and no other vegetables. The rest of our order was OK but we will not order from this place again.

food was best ive had in along time.

Awful service!! Order arrived with one dish missing and what we did get was freezing! Waited 30 more minutes for the extra dish and when i called to ask where it was and that i wanted a refund i was told I couldnt have one!! Delivery boy was very cheeky and basically threw my order at me. Never again!!!

Poor delivery service waited over 1hr 30 mins and they didnt answer the phones when we tried to chase this up. Wont be using here again.

The food was good, it would have been even better if it was hot. I waited 45 minutes after the estimated delivery time. Staff were rude and lied twice about the food leaving the premises. Judging by other reviews this establishment is severely understaffed.

Get this regularly from them. Used to not charge me for a large tub of curry as no option for one on menu but now charge me which bit sucky as we use them quite a bit

Food was lovely but delivery took an hour and a half and also when tried to contact shop the phone line was constantly busy.

Good fine but took ages for delivery had to phone to query where it was and they advised on way but still had to wait another 25mins on it

I always ordered off lotus blossom every now and again although was never my main Chinese ! Me and my boyfriend love this place now and the salt and chilli chips are so good and veg is so fresh ! Portion sizes are less than others which is a downfall but can tell food is good quality .. Can't wait to try the satay tonight and delivery super quick !!

llevar ordenados en línea y que nunca apareció. Así que llamamos a ver por qué no vino. Me informaron que el conductor de entrega había llamado en la casa ( en el fondo podía oír diciéndole mi dirección con cancha en vez de lugar por ejemplo 123 tribunal de rotonda donde ya que sería 123 Court de la rotonda). Así que PILLA bien, entrega conductor llega unos 5 minutos más tarde. Tan pronto como lo abren la puerta, él empieza a tener agresivas y me llama mentiroso diciendo " I llamado aquí, no respondió por qué te acuestas" y "Si puedes pedir comida en para llegar". (Por favor tenga en cuenta que él usado un lenguaje más colorida, pero tengo que mantener la Pg de clasificación) El problema con esto es que fue la casa, él no llamar la primera vez y estaba bastante exageradamente estaba mintiendo.

Food was late, when I phoned I was told the delivery driver had called and no one answered. When the driver arrived, he was very aggressive, cursing at me and calling me a liar. won't be ordering from here again.

A bit disappointed received wrong order driver brought order but had to reheat as was lukewarm also duck not shredded and no hoisin sauce for pancakes really disappointed with whole order

Meal was fine however yet again when we ask for no vegetables in a meal it comes packed with them. Not really good enough, considering this isn't the first or second time this has happened.

Ordered Thai green curry, got a bright orange Chinese chicken curry but when I complained they told me "it has green peppers, it is a Thai curry if it has green peppers." If you want a regular Chinese chicken curry with green peppers, order the Thai green apparently. Used to go here at least once a month - won't be back!

Took an hour to arrive. Had chicken chow mein. But bland. Chips and curry sauce lovely.

Food is absolutely gorgeous. I have never had a bad experience from this Chinese. It is the only Chinese I order from. Top quality and always delivered very quickly.

Was very fond of this place,can't fault the service but I mostly liked them for using fresh chips and now after a price increase they now use frozen chips and they also used to offer half rice and half chips which they have discontinued

Paid for a tin of diet coke,didnt receive it. Phoned to ask about it. Was told it would be delievered in 45mins as there was a band parade & the driver had to drive "round the arse hole of no where." Also told that they had no diet coke left. Then received a call to say the driver said the tin of juice was in the bag (even though there was no diet coke left). Felt like i was being called a liar. Was suggested I take a free tin of juice next time i place an order (wasnt free as i had paid for a tin that i didnt receive). Food was beautiful but service wasnt the best.

Food wasn't very nice the chips were soggy and looked as if. The oil needed changed the chicken balls again were soggy the only thing that was really edabile was the rice with bbq sauce , really waste of money, will. Most defenately not ordering from here again as most of my order went in the bin !!! 😥😥

The food was not fresh,curry sauce tasted sour,chips burnt, entire meal was cold, we we're afraid of food poisoning and threw it all out!expensive and disgusting. Avoid!

Placed an order last night, Food was outstanding, amazing portions and very fresh, my only complaint was the driver, very rude and as good as threw the bag at me had to grab the food quick otherwise would of been on the ground.

This is the best Chinese take away I have ever had, the food is excellent They use only the finest ingredients, the beef is top quality silverside and the chicken is pure white breast. The chips are home made and are the best chips. Michael has my order put in before i order it, it never changes like, beef curry, fried rice and chips, with free prawn crackers, all for £8, and there is more than enough for two. 5*.

I have been getting out of here for a brave while and that was just the second time ive had a bad meal wil not.be back

was very very very salty , even the chips on their own had salt on them.... if i was sitting in i wuda sent back.... ate a few mouthfuls and threw rest out.

The food is great quailty, with great portions, the chilli prawns and great king prawns, the chips are great for a takeaway and rice is light and fluffy. The service is fast and friendly.

I've had take away from there several times and it's the best Chinese food I'm had in Belfast. Chinese food in Belfast isn't typically good and tends to be really greasy. I would recommend the shrimp/prawn fried rice or the duck in plum sauce; its very nice. I would recommend Lotus Blossom to anyone.

Very nice takeaway from Lotus Blossom, free prawn crackers a bonus too. Delivery time was about 40 minutes which was fine considering it was a busy Saturday night. Will use them again :)

£1.20 for delivery is a bit much but food was quality

This restaurant is very, very good. The food is always really good quality and the delivery is super quick. I placed my order at 5.55 and it was delivered at 6.10.

Visited here last night. Had heard some good things about the food, and particularly their home-made chips, but to be honest, I have had many nicer Chinese meals! The chips weren't as fresh as I had hoped and my crispy chicken became gloopy and jelly-like in consistency after being submerged in its chilli and garlic sauce. Reasonable prices for an eat-in establishment, although the place's main source of income is their take-outs, and so there is constant traffic behind you as the staff walk from one end of the restaurant to the other with all the delivery food. All in all, it was average Chinese fare; no better, no worse. Expected a lot more. I think that overall I am disappointed in Chinese food these days after discovering the culinary delights of Indian food, so overall they tend to disappoint me, as this particular establishment did.
