Food is delicious! They offer plenty of gluten free options too and they are very tasty. Reasonably priced too! The gf Pad see ew was very nice as was the gf Kang panang. Would definitely recommend!

Recently had a belated Mother`s Day meal at the Lotus. Excellent food and service, good portions and great value. Sold local, large beers at super prices. Hard to fault. Friendly staff. Hope to see you soon.

We had: chicken spring rolls, they were very very delicious, highly recommend getting them as a starter; vegetable Tom Yum soup, the warmth and sourness of the soup really hit the spot; dim sum, it was so delicious; 2 green curry with rice, I really really recommend this main dish - it says medium spicy on the menu but it is not for those who can’t handle spicy food, but I really loved it; and we got pulled pork and an extra portion of steamed rice :) Also had a pot of green tea and 2 fizzy drinks. The overall experience was 10/10 and I will definitely come back again! The ladies who served us were very sweet and lovely too!

Had a fantastic date night here and Lotus certainly lived up to all the good reviews I found. The service was excellent and all the food was fantastic. The red curry in particular was wonderfully fragrant and spicy. Would highly recommend the banana fritters for dessert. It was our first time here but certainly won't be our last!

We hadn't booked but they accommodated us with no problem. We both had 2 courses and shared a bottle of wine. Everything was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. We shared a rice to go with our mains. Would definitely recommend.

Ate here while staying in Swansea last Friday, pre booked a table, fast efficient service, we had prawn crackers, prawn Mamuang Himmaparn and duck Pad Makam, both were gorgeous, plus three double spirits and a pint of Mahou all for less than£60, staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you.

Regularly order from this restaurant. The food tastes great and authentic. Only reason I gave 4 stars was the portion size for online delivery, could have been a bit more generous considering the price.

Had lunch here yesterday on a day trip to Swansea. The restaurant looked beautifully decorated and clean, and the meal and service was outstanding. A lucky find, and an interesting area too.

A great find - fresh Thai food and good service. It's an easy (and picturesque) walk from the town centre and well worth the effort. I had the duck and my partner had the pad Thai. Both were superb with the tamarind & oyster sauce. Beware - the prawn crackers are huge! Selection of bottled beers and draft Mahou on this visit. I think it's a bargain for the food quality.

Wow, wonderful food and lovely service! I used to have a favorite Thai restaurant in Sevenoaks but since leaving hadn't found anywhere as good. But this place really hit the mark! Reminded me of why I love Thai food. Very reasonably priced too. Couldn't fault it. We will return!

First time at this thai restaurant and its unbelievably tasty.I've eaten Asian food in many places including Thailand. This restaurant is up there with the best Thai food I've tasted friendly staff and lovely settings too will definitely be coming back again and if you like your asian/ thai food then this place is %100 a must 😋

The place offers only takeout now, but has made an interesting update to dealing with COVID by incorporating a small grocery store for Thai ingredients and snacks. The food itself is very good, but the cost of dine-in service is still present here.

This is the best Thai food available in Swansea by a country mile and the staff are really friendly!! You'll not go anywhere else for Thai food after eating here, its delicious!! Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a private party here for my 40th, there was roughly 50 of us. Toi and all her staff were absolutely amazing!!! All the food came out together, hot and absolutely delicious. All our guests left saying they couldn’t wait to go back. Toi and all her staff are the most helpful staff I’ve ever seen in a restaurant, nothing is too much for them and they do everything with a smile, so nice to see and made everyone feel comfortable.The best place to eat, highly recommend Lotus!Thank you once again for making the day just perfect.

I've been to Lotus on quite a few occasions during lunch time with friends and it has always been fantastic. The food is always good and the staff are incredible. They remember us every time, always greet us with a smile and make it that extra bit special. If you love Thai food, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

We ordered roast duck and prawns, however the sweet and sour sauce was watery. I had to keep my coat and scarf on all evening as there was a terrible draught coming in from the glass doors. Therefore the food went cold quickly.

I always make a point to visit the Lotus Thai restaurant in Swansea / Abertawe when I’m staying in the area. It’s one of my top favourite Thai restaurants in the UK. It’s location in the heart of the SA1 rejuvenated docks area in the wonderful Ice Building makes it a lovely setting. The menu is varied and the food always excellent combined with a warm welcome and service from all staff. Highly recommended.

We were away with work for a few days and heard great things about this restaurant from a colleague who visited the previous year. The food was amazing, the Chang was great, we had a great authentic evening. The manager was lovely, she made sure we had all we needed. The waiter was also lovely and smiley.

Having read the reviews which in some cases do not do this restaurant justice, we booked for dinner on Friday evening. An eclectic atmosphere which welcomes all with excellent service and exceptional food. Not pretentious, but excellence shows through presentation and the amount of diners and take-away orders illustrated how popular Lotus is. All of the meal was wonderful and without doubt, the banana fritters with coconut ice-cream was absolutely delicious.

Great place. The food and service could not be faulted. Both had three courses and a bottle of wine for £71. Which we thought was great value.

Food, atmosphere and staff were amazing!! Only thing I had an issue with was I ordered the curry because all the others had things in I weren’t keen on but when my food arrived it still had onions in which wasn’t on the menu :( still lovely food tho!!!

We had a delicious meal here. The crispy duck was delicious and the Pad Thai was so tasty! Wontons to start were also incredible. The staff were very welcoming and even gave us some glitter poppies for upcoming Remembrance Day. Very thoughtful.

We booked the Lotus for the final evening of our Thai colleagues stay with us and we were not disappointed. The welcome we had on a really wet Thursday evening was second to none, the owner went out of her way to make us all feel very welcome.

Excellent authentic food provided in comfortable and attractive environment. Warm welcome received and excellent, knowledgeable and attentive staff provided sound advice over menu choices. The party plumped for the set A menu which provided ample and generous portions, along with an acceptable selection of ales and Singha on draft, and a decent bottle or two of Riesling. Evening and food proved to be very enjoyable.

Because food and restaurant preferences can be so subjective I’m often cynical of going to Restaurants based on Trip Advisor ratings .... this one however absolutely deserves its current #1 status for Swansea restaurants. The food was delicious and the table service polite and attentive.

My wife and I visited Lotus on a rainy Saturday evening. The welcome could not have been warmer. The service we received was faultless with a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

We have eaten here a few times over the past couple years, and it is usually really good. I had a breaded chicken cutlet and it was pretty salty.

My husband and I went to Lotus to celebrate our anniversary yesterday evening and oh what a wonderful place it is!! We were looking for a restaurant that we hadn’t been to before and chose Lotus based on trip advisor reviews and then found friends that had also been and said it was lovely. We can confirm that this most definitely is a great place to go having had a fabulous evening with absolutely delicious food (we chose the set meal for 2 on this occasion, but the entire menu sounds amazing) and not least the wonderful staff who were very welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Honestly the best Thai I have had in the UK! The setting is lovely, the staff are attentive, but not suffocating. The starter sharing platter had a great variety and was worth it. The Beef Massamun was awesome. I honestly had to spoon any left over sauce. I can't wait to come back!

Lunchtime takeaway whilst at work. You can go larger choice at more cost but we just went with standard choice of red curry with rice. Also available are pad Thai or stir-fry or green curry (with rice)

It's a great place with a great atmosphere with welcoming and friendly staff. The food is fantastic and they cater for your requirements. One of the nicest Tai restaurants in Swansea and would recommend lunch or dinner setting.

Called in here for a quick bite, the prices have gone up recently and the lady working the till, maybe the owner; gave me a lunch menu. Items were listed as £7.45 each from a range of usual Thai green, red, pad Thai etc.

We went as a group of 6 friends to this delightful restaurant right next to the harbour. The service was very welcoming and warm, the food came out very fast considering the number of people we were. The food was delicious! Great size portions for very reasonable prices. I’ve attached a photo of my starter but forgot to take a photo of my main before I ate all of it. Will definitely be returning, highly recommend.

Lotus is nicely decorated, with an authentic menu and we had an obliging waitress (Toi was lovely). We enjoyed our starters including sweetcorn fritters which were very nice and grilled chicken skewers which was pleasant too. The main courses including deep fried duck and salmon were okay, but rather dry. Most disappointing was the deserts, or rather the lack of them. We booked a table for two over the phone for Saturday night at 8pm and when we went to order a desert at 9:30pm they informed us that we could only have ice cream, since the kitchen closes at 9:15pm on Saturday nights. Apparently, this is normal for them, but we weren't told about this at any point including when we booked and during the 1.5 hours we were sat in the restaurant, making for a disappointing end to the meal. Apparently the information is "widely available online" (not exactly an apologetic response), but I don't see why they couldn't have told us in good time and excusing closing the kitchen early on the grounds that few people walk in at that time in their quiet location overlooked the obvious point that they had diners in their restaurant!

Been in Swansea since the eighth and eaten in here most nights with my colleague, but the past two nights on my own and been really well received here, it can be a chore eating on your own but everyone here is lovely, the Tom yum soup is too die for, probably eaten most of the menu now, everything so far has been beautifully presented and so tasty, my favourite restaurant ever hands down.

My grandparents are very fond of Thai food since they went to Singapore a lot and they used to take me to another market stall in Wales for the food. They especially were fond of a lady who worked there who used to bring my grandma her tea half way through the meal just as she liked! After wondering for a while where she had gone to, my grandma and I were looking for a nicer Thai restaurant to go to as a treat, and suddenly something clicked and we saw the lady (Toy) who we had been looking for working there!! It was so lovely to see her again, as she is very special to my grandma. The place is so beautifully decorated and the staff are very friendly. For what you pay, the portions are huge and so authentic. We recommend the banana in coconut milk and sesame seeds for dessert!!! Off course, we had to have the fried rice as it’s our favourite but we also tried the chicken in an onion and oyster sauce which was delicious and went great together. A very special place to eat - you cannot go wrong!!

The location was so good easy to find and easy to park, food absolutely devine, my friend and i really enjoyed the meal and the drinks! Chang is only £3.50 nice and cool ! and staff was so friendly. Definitely come to visit again.
