Another excellent evening here at L'Olivo. We ate here as a party of 4 on 23/3 and as is usual had to book weeks in advance for a Saturday night table. Lovely warm welcome from the owner as usual and we were quickly shown to our table. The restaurant has an excellent menu with plenty of choice and there are always some good specials. All the food we had was well presented, well cooked and very tasty. Desserts are shown on a board which is brought to your table and whilst there are only 5/6 to choose from we all managed to find one. Good wine list. Great atmosphere in the restaurant all evening. Another excellent evening and we will of course return again.

You need to book here because it is so popular. Because I always leave things until the last minute I am seldom able to eat here. This time my friend booked. The food was excellent and the service matched. I took the server’s advice on the wine and I was not disappointed or ripped off. Ok it is not inexpensive herr but it is worth every penny. I enjoyed liver and roast potato

L'Italiana

26/03/2019: Had a great dinner here with friends. Food was excellent - very tasty and good portions. Staff very friendly, excellent value and great atmosphere. Will definitely return.
17/02/2019: We visited here on a Friday evening for a meal with friends. Easy to find - just near the clock tower - and relaxed setting. The staff were polite and bubbly. The food was good, having a mixture of starters and mains. From veal to seafood. So four starters, four mains, 5 beers and a bottle of wine for just over £140. Very nice and would go back. Not a top end restaurant but the food was very tasty.

Zaza Harpenden

12/02/2019: I'd been to the Bushey restaurant a few months ago and the experience fell a little short of my expectations. So decided to give the Harpenden location a go.
15/03/2019: We booked on a Tuesday for lunch at 2.30. We both chose the same starters and main courses from the set lunch menu which is only £10.90 and very good value. The calamari and the pasta with meatballs were both delicious. My husband and I love this restaurant and rarely have a poor meal here. Give it a try.
