Lobster and Mor in Pembrokeshire

Popped in when visiting the area, lovely shop and friendly service. They have fresh crab and lobster for sale, well managed and sensitively handled. We picked up some local spirits, postcards etc. Didn’t grab a coffee, but I hear it is excellent.

The most amazing fresh out of the sea lobster and crab sandwiches, with lovely coffee. Worth visiting Little Haven just to visit this cafe. Buy brunch or lunch and enjoy sitting on the harbour side people watching and enjoying the amazing scenery.

By chance we came across this gem while tiki touring through and needed a coffee. Being kiwis were a bit fussy and picky about our coffee We had a couple of delicious coffees made from nearby roasted beans, but amazed to find this place also sells fresh lobster, and it gets better.. fresh lobster filled rolls and when i say filled, stuffed with delicious fresh lobster..omg My mouth still waters just thinking about them Yum Lovely friendly and welcoming people cant heap enough praise

A beautiful little shop which sells crab sandwiches, lobster rolls & other lunchtime foods. Fantastic coffees to take out, lush creamy ice creams. They do the BEST dressed lobsters for you to take away & have at home (with the information on Joe to cook it). They also have their own gin they sell & the shop also sells a few little beautiful gifts to take home for yourself or loved one. Well worth a visit when you’re in little haven. The staff are also amazing, smiley, chatty & very polite. You can see why I go there on a regular basis

Best lobster I have ever tasted!!!! Caught locally, Freshly made rolls and Crab sandwiches everyday. (We came in everyday..had us hooked) The best coffee in village! This should be your first stop when visiting little haven. Staff super friendly, lovely to talk too and great knowledge of their products.. even willing to make the live lobster experience..all the children enjoyed seeing their first lobster and crab.

This is an expensive shop. I have had much nicer crab sandwiches elsewhere (better filled, more white meat) and the lobster roll on the last day was chewy and not very tasty. I don't know what they were like the other days as I had crab. I kept going back as I love crab!

Popped in here as had read that they did lobster rolls and it didn't disappoint. A lovely roll with seaweed butter and filled to bursting with succulent lobster meat. I was amazed at how generous a portion it was. Lady was very friendly and helpful, explaining just how fresh the lobster was (under 5 hours from sea to counter) Highly recommend.

My wife was pining for seafood so we were glad we saw this small shop. We had lovely, amazingly fresh and well-filled lobster rolls; my wife had a wee bottle of Prosecco as well while I had an excellent soft drink. We loved seeing the lobsters in the tank and the fisherman returning in his boat. The gin is good too! The lady who runs this place is very friendly and enthusiastic.

Staying locally and visited each day for coffee and ice creams; sandwiches look fab as well. Really friendly and some great local offerings such as gin (which you can taste) and clothes. Well worth a visit.

I love a trip to Little Haven on a sunny day and I always visit Lobster and Mor for a coffee, snack and a look round their locally made products. Had the crab sandwich this time and it didn’t disappoint: lovely bakery bread and well-filled . Great washed down with a coffee on the seafront too. I also picked up a gorgeous wave print. Looking forward to my next visit already.

The best crab sandwiches ever, full of tasty crab meat , seaweed butter( oh, and a sachet oy mayo on the side) Delicious lunch with a barista coffee to go to have on the beach. I'm sure they arranged the weather as well. Bliss

Bought very expensive crab sandwiches on brown bread. Measly filling, bread very ordinary sliced, not even buttered. Do yourselves a favour, buy a dressed crab and make sarnies yourself using decent bread and butter yourself.

Absolutely gutted there was no lobster on the menu when we visited. Crab meat was tasty and ice cream delish. Served with a smile. Long drive for lobster for us to not get any, but understand it's not guaranteed... maybe next year.

Wonderfully friendly staff, gorgeous atmosphere and the ice cream was such good value for money for the generous serving. Delicious as well. Made our sunny windy afternoon even better. Bought superbly rich crab sandwiches, and both bottles of different flavoured gins after sampling in house. Live lobsters to choose from and a host of other quality merchandise including jams, preserves and cool clothing. Staff are delightful. Getting a dressed lobster next week.

A cute little shop and sandwich place, located in a beautiful seaside village. We visited in February, during a very quiet, off-peak season, and whilst we weren’t able to try lobster, the crab sandwich we picked was delicious and fresh. Great place and wonderful staff!

Absolutely delicious barista coffee. Fresh and made to order. As well as the signature lobster rolls and crab sandwiches you can now finish your lunch with locally made Scoops ice cream.

Messaged the day befpre our visit and the owners held back the lobster rolls we wanted (thanks for the heads up on social media!) Roll was well priced for the amount of lobster that it contained and the cafe was well laid out and clean....

At a top end price for a lobster roll £9.50 l it was a shame that the bread roll was cheap, white and bland. It didn’t compliment the gorgeous lobster at all.

Let’s get to the point, we thought the lobster rolls to-go at £9.50 a throw are a treat and worth every penny. We thought they would be. But what made coming here extra special was the warm welcome from the owner, who looked after us even though we got there before he was actually open. Heart warming. A top local business which deserves every success.

We were drawn here to sample the lobster rolls, twice! Big chunks of lobster, seaweed butter, mayo,- delicious. However, we also bought a pot of crab, chocholate, biltong, coffee, cheese, preserves and drinks. If you appreciate local, artisan produce and like trying new things to eat and drink, you will not be disappointed.The staff are also wonderful. Friendly and helpful.

Found this little place whilst having a wander around Little Haven and so glad we did.Needed to put an order in for our crab sandwiches as they had already sold through the days stock. Waited for 15 mins and was well rewarded with the best crab sandwich I've ever had. So full and wonderfully tasty. (Pay no attention to the one 1* review, ridiculous).Keep trying to work another trip here into our holiday.

Last week I had a fantastic surprise for my birthday. I stayed with the O’Neills who provided a superb platter of delicious lobster from Lobster and Mor. The lobsters was prepared to a very high standard and were of a good size. The portions were very generous and made a fantastic centre piece for a family lunch to celebrate my special birthday. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back for more.

This is a gem. Covid seems to have made eating out so much more complicated. I was told recently I couldn’t buy fish and chips without phoning in an order first and then it would be a wait of half an hour. So it was great to visit this little cafe which offered superb, high quality food simply prepared and very accessible. We bought crab sandwiches, fresh prepared crab meat and a lobster roll and also took away a fresh dressed lobster. All superb. One reviewer suggested the prices were a ‘rip off’ - I would disagree. Crab and lobster are expensive and the quantities offered are generous - perhaps that reviewer doesn’t like lobster. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Enjoy!

Our arrival in Little Haven on this mini break was marked by the planned purchase of some seafood sandwiches from this specialist takeaway. The excellent seafood sold here is cooked on premises and served ultra-fresh. We had read about it and decided that this would be a great way to start what was planned to be a mostly meat-free long weekend. Before setting off from home we had chilled down a bottle of Pouilly-Fumé and stuffed it into a cooler bag, and we had brought with us some really good reusable plastic wine glasses. So, sandwiches in hand we found a shaded spot and sat and enjoyed them with a glass or two of the Loire Valley finest wine.My lobster roll was wonderful: so fresh and full of those prized and delicate flavours with that robust texture. The roll was very soft and fresh and very light: almost like a brioche. It was delightful to make such a perfect start to my mini-break. My partner had chosen the crab sandwich on (her preferred) wholemeal bread. Sadly, this was not a great sandwich as the almost mean portion of crab meat was flavoured herb butter which was not really needed, and the sandwich was without accompaniment (like some crisp leaves or onion) making it short on texture. The wine was still sufficiently cold and, as expected, perfect with the shellfish, even from plastic glasses.

Beautiful well stocked shop, the children even got to hold a lobster. Lovely gifts for family back home. Thank you so much.

We came here during a stopover in Little Haven. Had a fab lobster roll which was delicious and reasonably priced. I also liked that this place was simple and unpretentious plus the fact that they refrained from doing too much with the lovely lobster meat or using too much spice. I would have bought a live lobster or crab had we not been in transit. Very happy to recommend!

I never thought I would find lobster rolls better than what I had freshly caught in the Bahamas… but yesterday I did!! Here in little haven! The lobster was freshly caught hours before - it was delicious, fresh and a generous amount! The white crab pot was very tasty, nice chunks! We made a picnic of it and say ok the Beach with a coupleOf beers we bought from there too which were great! We enjoyed it so much we went back for lunch again today even bought a couple of tshirts too! If you want quality local produce you won’t go wrong! We can highly recommend it here for sure.

Seafood dream! My husband is the biggest lover of seafood and he’s wanted to come and try this cafe for so long. It certainly did not disappoint. What a delicious lobster. We brought it home, along with a couple of little miniature gins and had the most incredible meal. We have not wanted to go out to restaurants since the pandemic do this was the perfect opportunity to indulge in a bit of luxury. Well worth it! Thank you. We cannot wait to come back!

I feel as someone who does not usually write reviews that I must comment on this establishment and cannot understand the reviews. We paid more than £30 for two crab and two lobster sandwiches and were completely ripped off. The crab sandwiches were two thin slices of bread with the thinnest amount of crab. The lobster was more substantial but tasted like rubber. A complete rip off and I really can't see how it is getting such rave reviews.

We picked up some crab sandwiches and lobster rolls for our family whilst spending a day on the beach at Little Haven during our holiday in the area. Picnics will never be the same . . . !

The day we arrived in Little Haven we had lobster rolls for lunch which were delicious. We then ordered a live lobster to take to our cottage and cook ourselves. The staff were very accommodating when we kept changing our minds which day we wanted to pick it up. I also bought a beautiful mug, butter dish, bag and a bottle of gin!

We were staying in Little Haven, were having a chill-out day in the cottage and wanted something for lunch. A quick hop (almost literally, the cottage door was only a few feet away!) and we were ordering at the counter in Lobster and Mor.Our selection consisted of some fresh lobster brioche rolls and some of the fresh crab meat, both of which were delicious and very fresh, the crab meat being probably the freshest I've ever tasted. Delicious!They are able to offer live catch of the day but we didn't sample this on our visit.We also bought a small bottle of their Tir & Mor citrus and thyme gin which was lovely and made for a very tasty afternoon G&T.Highly recommended for a tasty takeaway breakfast or lunch.

Visited today to pick up a bottle of the excellent gin to take to son and daughter-in-law in London. They discovered this gin last August when visiting us in Pembrokeshire. They gave us a bottle and this is a fabulous component in a very dry martini - ice, Tin a Mor gin, dry vermouth and two olives - fantastic. So we visited today to replenish our gin stocks and also to feast on lobster rolls. Heartily recommend a visit.

Chose a fresh lobster from the tank asked for it to be cooked, was absolutely delicious,superbly cooked and mouth watering. Had the crab sandwiches for lunch, equally delicious. Can highly recommend,a real gem in a small fishing village. Absolutely superb.

A must visit shop which sells its own gin. Fresh coffee available and you can spoil yourself and buy a fresh lobster straight out of the tank for your evening meal

This is a nice simple venue selling local produce and with a small selection of takeaway lunches (with some seats on the premises). We got a warm welcome and the dog was allowed in. We went for the lobster rolls, which were very tasty. Perhaps just a little pricey though.

Visited Little Haven to especially come to Lobster & Mor, due to the amazing reviews. Ordered lobster roll and a crab sandwich and both were to die for. Can't recommend enough. Would certainly be coming back when we visit Pembrokeshire again

It’s a nice place just up from the harbour and where you can get fresh lobster on a daily basis from the tank but if don’t fancy the mess of a lobster then try a lobster sandwich from here very moorish at about £8.

We stumbled into this lovely shop/eaterie and were met by a wonderful lady who welcomed us and chatted about local artists and little haven in general. They have a lobster and crab pool at the back, to provide the freshest seafood. Our son thought this was amazing and the lady (i'm sorry I don't know your name to thank you) proceeded to ask if he'd like to see them and scooped one up and taught him all about lobsters! How wonderful. I wanted to buy the shop, to convey my gratitude. Devine ice cream, chocolate and coffee was had by all. Beautiful art and products ranging from rum to cheese, keyrings to hoodies can be bought. Thank you. What a lovely experience. We'll certainly be back! X

We were looking for some fresh crab for our New Year’s Eve dinner (once the kids had gone to bed !). We were recommended Lobster and Mor by the staff at The Castle down the road. It’s a lovely shop which sells fresh crab and lobster as well as a host of other gifts etc. The lady was very helpful allowing the kids to touch the live lobsters in the tank. Worth a visit.

Passed through Little Haven while walking the coast from Marloes to Newgale with my girlfriend on a beautiful summers day in August 2018. Found Lobster and Mor (love the name, very clever) thanks to good old Google. We popped in and bought some fresh lobster rolls. Added a small bottle of Prosecco and voila, lunch. Very tasty and fresh. The cafe is a lovely little gem of a place. We sat outside as they don’t have a restaurant alcohol license but that would have been our choice anyway as Little Haven is lovely and it was a beautiful day. We returned by car later in the weekend to pick up some local gin and some crab sandwiches for the journey home. Fabulous.

We’ld come eat here again if we make it back to Little Haven. Had the crabsandwich meal deal and lobster roll. Sat by the sea and ate it. Worth it.

After a lovely walk along the Point Road to look out to sea and the coast line, we stopped for a White & Brown Meat Crab Sandwich and Lobster Brioche at The Lobster and Mor. Both were absolutely fantastic. We sat on a bench by the beach in the sun. Perfect.

Visited Little Haven today (a beautiful seaside village in Pembrokeshire) and discovered this gem of a take away cafe....The meal deal at £8 for crab sandwiches, Jones crisps, Blas ar Fwyd cake & a Morrillo Brothers coffee was excellent in every way - value, quality & service. Full marks for the use of local Welsh ingredients - we could taste the difference. The shop also had lovely local pottery & paintings and some Welsh food products for sale. There was a tank of live lobsters & crabs too - very interesting to see them 'in the water'. 10/10 We enjoyed the well packed meal deal picnic seated on a nearby bench, overlooking the beach and stunning Pembrokeshire coastline. We'll be going again soon!

Top quality shop with amazing Crab Sandwiches and lovely Lobster Rolls, all caught locally by the business owner. Perfectly complimented by beautiful local craft goods, drinks and artwork. They even have a tank full of the latest catch that the kids can get up close to.

Just popped into lobster and mor... cracking find in little haven, one of the most beautiful villages I find in Pembrokeshire.. staff super friendly and helpful with advising on which products to buy, (all local produce).... the tank at the back containing the crab and lobster super cool, especially to show the kids... we had the crab sandwich and a lobster roll.... best crab I’ve ever had.... will be back and would highly recommend...

We had the crab sandwich meal deal. The sandwiches had very little crab in them. The meal deal was Sandwich, crisps, packaged little cake and tea or coffee for £8.00. Wouldn’t return, sorry.

We are huge fans of Little Haven and decided to visit this Easter with the children having not been for over 10 years and Lobster and Mor is a great addition to the area and a real reason to visit. We had fond memories of eating lobster in this bay at the local pub many years ago so to now have this local shop dedicated to the local catch is just a great idea. The small sheek shop is fantastic for shellfish and also hand picked locally made gifts small and large (mugs, jewellery, art prints). A large selection of locally made gin and beer which is great (try the seaweed gin it was delicious). Then there is fantastic live crabs and lobsters to take home plus freshly prepared shellfish which we bought to make crab pasta back at our holiday let! Lovely wine and just a fantastic treat place to spend some time and money. The lady who served us was super friendly, very warm and welcoming and was very engaging talking to the children about the crabs. We also saw the guy who owns it one afternoon and he was also very charming and seemed like a great local guy working hard to make the business thrive for himself and the area! Highly recommend you stop by and pick up some treats and support this fantastic local business!!!! Can't wait to return...
