Snowdon Marathon weekend. Great food and friendly, helpful staff. We had three separate drop-ins during our stay. The rarebit is the best I've ever had!

On entering the premises The first comments was we are short staffed You’ll have to wait said the mature lady No welcome, hello or good afternoon. While looking through the menu to decide what to have noticed the same lady eating behind the counter in the kitchen and also arguing with some young lad who was doing the pots,pans and plates. Watching other customers I noticed a man asking where his order was as his other companions were already eating theirs and he was still waiting for his Chef /owner made some comment about not having enough hands and once again, moaning about short staffed. Counting round I notice there was about 18 customers. If you can’t cope with 18 customers it’s time to give up. We had a Welsh rarebit and a bacon roll. Nothing to write home about. Should get your extractor fan maintained ,definitely smoky.

Stayed in Llanberis over the weekend 27-29 October during the Eriri Marathon. This cafe was a great place to eat and the food was superb, well presented and delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even at their busiest time. They even smiled and were very appreciative of my attempts at the Welsh language! Will definitely visit again and recommend to family and friends. Diolch yn fawr

Having walked snowdon, cold, tired and hungry we found this cute little place just by the train station. Order some soups and drinks, young lady behind counter very informative when I asked her about the soups, however the older lady in a black dress with Mustard top, cropped blonde hair needs to take some customer service training from the younger staff, blunt and rude when serving almost like we were asking for the world to be presented to us on a plate, soup arrived not even luke warm so I asked politely if she could warm them up, no apology, took our plates again with attitude, returned them again with no apology despite our gratitude and thanks. If you don't want tourist custom please put a sign on door stating so as felt like we wasn't welcomed by this 1 lady. Tom soup and bread lovely, once warm enough to eat (still wasn't hot)

Excellent service and great food. Very friendly staff even when they were busy. We would reccomend this cafe to anyone who is looking for home cooked food. The cakes were also excellent.

We came here towards closing time and we were greeted by the lovely owner. We had coffee and tea and some cakes. The whole experience was wonderful. The servers were happy people, the weather was fantastic. On our way out we had a conversation with the owner and that was a delight.

Beautiful food, the breakfast was amazing and the sausages were absolutely perfect! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! I will definitely be visiting again xx

Ate here 3 times whilst visiting Llanberis- excellent cooked breakfast, paninis, jacket potatoes and Welsh rarebit. Good size potions and decent price- we paid about £11 per person for a main and drink. There is a dog friendly area outside and the lady taking orders loved the dogs and came out with biscuits for them. A really good place for brunch or lunch.

After a visit to Snowdon on the Snowdon Steam Railway, we discovered this little cafe and decided to go in. So glad we did! Wanted to try a Welsh delicacy so opted for the Welsh Rarebit…delicious! My husband had the Welsh beef burger and he wasn’t disappointed either. Bought some cake to take home with us, Apple Cake and Bara Brith…very nice too! Nice friendly staff. Glad we found this little place, in a very quiet Llanberis on a wet day.

We were in for brekky which was excellent. I ordered the large rather than the small by mistake and was treated to a real feast, so we left with our eyes bulging! All good. You simply have to go up the hill after that don't you? We'll be back when in Llanberis or thereabouts. Rightly popular, you'll find this place just opposite the garage on the high street.

One of the worse cafe in Snowdon. We experienced the bad attitude twice from the chef. We went to Pantri is so much better

We found this venue to be very busy. Lots of parking nearby. It had good seating options inside and dog friendly outside seating. A great menu choice that caters for most, and reasonably priced. The portions are very generous! Service was okay considering how busy it was. The food was lovely. Facilities were clean and tidy. A lovely experience!

Wow! I have lived in Wales for nearly 11 years but have never been here before. Oh have I missed out! Today, whilst in Llanberis, my friends suggested breakfast here. Now, normally I cannot finish the meal but here I had no intention of leaving any! The meal was cooked to perfection, served with extreme professionalism and such a smile! A charming environment, lovely staff and a cracking chef. Thank you. Maybe the lake steam railway cafe not far away could learn from here? Especially when it comes to customer service. Ps. The sausages were amazing!

Was a last minute stop, 3 adults, 2 dogs, 2 teenagers and 3 children! For the first time in a long time everyone absolutely loved their food, so a big thank you from us. Amazing breakfast and coffee. Fantastic staff seemingly very helpful for myself and other customers. The Snowdon Breakfast was served quickly, cooked well and served piping hot. The coffee again, was hot and served quickly.

Nice cafe with friendly staff. Breakfast, brunch, lunch and cakes. Good coffee. Not a lot of indoor seating, but plenty of covered space outside. Choice of typical breakfast fare ( sausages etc), but not avocado/ egg/ bagel / muffin type offerings. Better bread and sausage would’ve made it a five star review. You can street park for free outside, and it is just near the start of the Snowdon track in the village centre.
