Liz cafe in Hammersmith and Fulham

When people say local cafe with fantastic food, they mean Liz Cafe. This place was lovely, and the only thing better than the food was the service. The avocado breakfast, the coffee, and the ham and cheese croissant were delicious.

Great location as we were staying at The Hoxton. Lovely friendly staff great food and coffee. Clean no sticky tables. Quite busy but we managed to get a table.

The waitress was rude at this place. I think she was owner or a relative/friend of the owner. I guess this way because she was behaving like "Do you know who I am?". She showed us printed menus at the very second we entered the place even we had not sat yet. Waiter/waitress should wait till people settle down first, then menu presentation can be done. Tea, coffee and deserts are average, nothing special. Pricing does not match the quality, it is expensive even in London standarts. One note also; there was refurbishment work at the cafe when we were there. I think it might be done during the week instead of weekend. Working people do choose cafes to relax during weekend, not to hear this annoying too much noise of refurbishment. I don't think we will come back again.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was immaculate and the treats they had on offer were great. It's not too crowded and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

Had a really nice breakfast here after our 1 night stay at a local hotel. Good full breakfast and nice cuppa & juice. Only quibble would be that the waitress didn’t ask as how we wanted our eggs - went to the counter and we asked for poached, but they’d already started on the fried. Unless you state when ordering, you can’t change as “that’s the rules!” Despite that, we would definitely return if in the area, and state our egg preference 😆

Staying at Hoxton Hotel next-door, what a great find. Lovely staff and the BEST bacon sandwich ever. Great fresh juice too

A very straightforward breakfast – almond croissant and latte – proved life-giving on a particular late-summer morning! The butter really sang through the pastry and the latte was steaming hot, not lukewarm, which is how some places unfortunately serve it. Prices not so bad for S Kens either. Will be back!

A lovely friendly cafe with a great breakfast menu covering all bases. Lovely scrambled eggs and bacon with sourdough toast for me. And a good cup of coffee!

Well when I first arrived this place was almost empty, but by the time I left around 9.30am it was very busy and I understand why this must be a great hit with locals and visitors alike! Nice, spacious, clean café, with plenty of seats to choose from. Big selection of food choices on the menu and high quality tea (Birchall if I remember rightly). I went for the avocado and eggs on toast which was very well made and tasty. Nobody rushed me to leave so I could crack on with emails on my laptop. They also have a nice, clean toilet for customers. Overall, not least versus much of the poor, dirty competition in London, this stands head & shoulders above most places for a high quality brekkie. Highly recommended 🙏🏼👍

We found this cafe by chance while waiting in the rain for the theatre opposite to open its doors. The cafe was still open at 6:30pm on a Saturday evening, which was a huge bonus. The lady serving was friendly and accommodating. They coffee served was delicious and hot…and the homemade banana and blueberry cake was incredibly fresh and tasty. Next time we are in the are we plan to go back and try something more substantial as the menu looked lovely.

We were staying down the street at the Hoxton Shepherds Bush. The first day we tried Liz Cafe for lunch--it was wonderful. The sandwiches were made with care on delicious rolls and came with a little salad. The acai berry smoothie tasted great! We went back 3 more time during our 4 day stay--twice for breakfast takeaway (more smoothies) and once more for "brunch" on our last day. The young woman that served us each time was very personable as well. If you are in Shepherds Bush, go here!

We ate breakfast here each morning of our stay in a nearby hotel, it was superb each time and great value. Highly recommended.

Great selection of lunch items, we chose cheese and ham croissants but the hot food available looked very tasty. Very friendly and helpful service. The cafe looked very clean and tables were cleared promptly. Will definitely visit again when I'm next in the area

We walked across the Green to find this lovely cafe for a light lunch. Great food quality at reasonable prices, we enjoyed smoked salmon with beautifully cooked scrambled eggs and a chicken/mozzarella toasted sandwich. A hidden gem in Shepherds Bush. Thank you!

The food was just ok, the waitress got my order wrong twice, but they did fix it. The regular toast tasted weird and the beans are right out of a Heinz can. The mushrooms were quite nasty.

Best breakfast I’ve had. Perfectly cooked pouched eggs with avocado on sour dough toast. Washed down with freshly squeezed orange juice. Just prefect.

Really enjoyed the food here and they have a wide range of vegetarian options. I would however also recommend the small pistachios canoli's - they could rival some that I've tried in Italy!

We had lunch here, I had a sandwich filled with chicken escalope and goats cheese and my wife had a very generous portion of quiche with salad. Everything was delicious and fresh and not too expensive.

My husband and I visited this cafe whilst attending a music festival at the O2 Empire a couple of weeks ago. We both had sandwiches which were excellent - freshly made and lovely fillings. The coffee and choice of soft drinks were also very good and we were impressed with the service. We actually went a couple of times over that weekend and I would definitely recommend it.

If you are searching for a nice place for a decent breakfast you must try this one! Tiny place, very nice crew, decent breakfast. The flat white is awesome and the avocado breakfast totally yummy. A real Italian coffee machine.

Tres de nosotros comimos por 30. 00 incluido desayuno y bebidas. Gran café y desayuno vegi con una gran rebanada de pan tostado, pedí un brindis extra y me lo dieron sin cargo adicional. Mi esposa tenía un croissant que era fresco y bueno y nuestra hija tenía huevos escalfados con tostadas.

Here for a breakfast with friends after a night out. 2 vegans and a meat eater. The menu is nothing spectacular, typical cafe food, you order, pay and sit down and wait for your food. Service on this occasion was quick, all the food arrived at the same time. It was exactly what we had orderd, and it was hot and tasty. Service was quick and friendly.

It's a really nice place, coffee is good (and it's so hard to find Italian coffee in London!), food is really good as well and the plates are well prepared. We really enjoyed our breakfast, close to home, we will surely come back. We were looking for an English breakfast spot before we left Kensington & found Liz.

On our last day in London, we decided to have a proper English breakfast near the flat we rented. Liz Cafe gave us that opportunity just around the block from our flat. Two of us had the traditional English breakfast (good but not great) and one had porridge with bananas and honey. We had an assortment of coffees as well. They forgot to serve us one freshly squeezed orange juice and food service was oddly slow given the late breakfast and relatively quiet atmosphere. That said, everything was good and proper!

Y qué más hay que decir, cuando te digo que, a pesar de todas las cosas maravillosas de Londres, Liz se ha quedado en nuestros recuerdos y corazones. Lo hemos mencionado tan a menudo en los últimos 2, 5 años y esperamos volver.

Wij zijn hier gaan eten voordat we naar Westfield winkelcentrum gingen. Het eten was erg lekker en we zaten er goed vol van. Het personeel was vriendelijk en erg druk. Het is niet een hele grote eettent maar het was wel enorm lekker. Zeker een aanrader.

I cannot fault our visit to Liz Cafe. Welcoming smiley faces, great value and superb food. My eggs benedict were the best ever and my partners full English was fab. Just keep doing what you’re doing guys! You are great!

Fantastique, si vous cherchez le meilleur endroit pour prendre votre English breakfast je vous conseille Liz café si vous êtes dans le quartier de shepherds-bush et vous pourrez en plus de manger merveilleusement bien vous fondre dans l'atmosphère Anglaise et vous mêlée à la vie de quartier. Les prix sont tout à fait raisonnable et ça serai dommage de ne pas s'y arrêter.

Stayed at the Dorsett hotel and went to Liz’s cafe for breakfast on 2 days. Lovely welcoming cafe, lovely menu, salmon, avocado, poached eggs, lovely coffees. Friendly staff. I noticed a lovely range of Italian wines also!

While staying at a nearby hotel (featuring a 19 pound breakfast) we walked down the street each morning to this gem and had a wonderful breakfast. Fresh pastries. Good coffee. Excellent granola and yogurt. Also hot dishes. A local gem. They also serve lunch and we watched them make the sandwiches by hand each morning.

I had a full agenda on the day I went to Liz Cafe. I wanted to fuel up before I went to London Center. I found Liz Cafe in Shepherds Bush and could not have been more pleased.

We had a lovely brunch after staying at a nearby Airbnb. I had the eggs Royale which was delicious, the poached eggs were perfect. My mum enjoyed her “perfectly cooked” scrambled eggs and fresh tasting smoked salmon. My dad and husband had the full which they found very delicious, with very good sausages. I would go again if we were in the area.

This place has so much potential, it's a very cosy cafe in a great location, and the food and coffee are great. It's all let down by the very unfriendly staff. Last time I was there, a customer asked to speak to the manager about the poor service and it ended up in a slanging match between the two of them and I heard the couple sitting next to me say 'Even though he shouldn't be shouting, I do agree with everything he's saying' and I felt the same way. Not a welcoming atmosphere at all.

I had been scoping out places to eat in the Shepherd's Bush area. I was only traveling to London for a few days and this would be my neighborhood. Had been meaning to try Liz Café and only made it there my last afternoon before having to fly back home. My sandwich and baked potato were some of the freshest and most delicious eats of my trip. Staff were exceptional as well. Had I known the food was so lovely here, I would have made this my regular place.

This is a delightful, comfortable and friendly cafe that serves breakfast, salads, sandwiches, cakes etc. I had a chicken escalope baguette which was served on lovely quality bread with goats cheese and salad. It was excellent quality and value for under £5. The cappuccino was very nice too.

We stayed overnight in London recently and rather than pay £15 each for breakfast in the hotel, decided to eat somewhere locally and found Liz Cafe. At around 11am on a Saturday morning, it was really busy and we got the last table, although people were coming and going constantly while we were there.

We stayed at the Dorset hotel and didn’t fancy paying £24 each for a continental breakfast found this place got a great full English breakfast great service and only paid £7.50 each Well worth a visit

The food was good and fresh but really nothing special. The service was ok, but the music was enjoyable.

We choose to come here, after we saw on tripadvisor that the restaurant had gluten free options.

Great coffee and my mushrooms on toast just the way I wanted them nice peaceful unrushed environment and saved the day admin wise when my pen died!!

I have never been to this place before but decided to give it a go. We had a chicken escalope baguette with goats cheese. It was excellent and not too expensive.

Liz cafe is a small cafe, but their food and coffee is amazing! Lots of vegetarian options to choose from. Did I mention that the coffee is great? They also do fresh juice
