Staff hard working very professional and friendly.food is 1st class and milk shakes absolutely brilliant.

Great to eat out again on grand weather good menu and hard working staff. They were very busy but looked after us well. Situated on the front at Brodick s great location and the food was good.

We used the Little Rock during a recent stay on Arean. The salmon, poached egg, spinach bagel was phenomenal!!! I was a little unsure about it when I ordered it was but was delighted when it arrived. The bagle had been halved, smothered with spinach, heaped with salmon and topped with a poached egg! It was fantastic and set me up until dinner time! My husband enjoyed their filled rolls and we both felt it was great value for money. We will certainly use it again and would recommend it for not only breakfast but lunch and a variety of snacks.

We had the big breakfast at around 10 in the morning. It was fantastic; well cooked, tasty and set us up for a full day sightseeing. We were able to skip lunch and even in the evening only wanted a small snack. Location is great, on the main strip of Brodick, 5mins from Ferry Port. Amazing views out to sea and of Brodick Castle from the outdoor tables. Inside is lovely and it has a little deli attached to it as well. The toilets are were beautiful and immaculate. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

We stopped for a late lunch and the place was heaving which is a sign it's good so we decided on takeaway. Our order was brought out to us by a lovely young man, and we bought a few things in the deli while we waited. Great to see so much scottish produce on offer, and we made sure we got plenty for supper later on.

Very good cafe, ideal location assumed it would be mediocre given the closeness to the ferry but was pleasantly surprised. Wide menu perfect for the whole family with good quality lunches all round - even the dog was happy!

We visited 2/7/21 & 5/7/21. Ate outside - yes, we did, and we could, weather was good! The food was delicious, location spectacular (view of the sea), service was first class. We had takeaway bacon rolls on our first visit & takeaway fish & chips & toasties on our second. Iced coffee & chocolate milk shakes both times! The ingredients in the toasties was amazing & well, the milkshakes were out of this world!The service was friendly & swift. Covid restrictions / hygiene were evident everywhere too. Well done Little Rock. Keep up the good work. We will be back!

Excellent food freshly prepared and served quickly. To be honest we probably wouldn’t have stopped here had we not read other reviews, it looks very plain from the outside and sits behind a crazy golf course (looks a good course actually). But so glad we did, absolutely ideal for the four of us and our little dog. Recommend the nachos and tuna melt panini particularly

Dropped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised as although busy we got a table and were served quickly with such good service under the busy conditions. The food did take a little time but the service was outstanding and food worth the wait. Will return as exceptional service from lovely staff.

Place had great write ups and we found out why. Eggs Benedict, French toast and bacon and great coffees. Brilliant location- not far from the ferry if you’re in a hurry.

With a couple of hours to spare between having to vacate our accommodation and our booked ferry, there was a need to find somewhere good to kill some of the time. Plenty of places on Arran which were advertising breakfast being available weren't providing them due to staff shortages.Therefore we ended up in Little Rock and were so glad we did. We obviously arrived at the right time. Seated straight away, food was lovely and coffee probably the best I drank on the island.Would definitely recommend

Well done for excellent friendly service and very good sandwiches. The Stobo was delicious on lovely fresh bread. Coffee also excellent, hot and tasty!

We nipped in for lunch during a cycle around Arran, it was a beautiful sunny day so unfortunately couldn’t be seated outside as too busy but the inside was lovely- I looks like it’s been refurbished since the photos on tripadvisor! The staff were friendly, attentive and following Covid guidance. Good selection of drinks and sandwiches- the menu could maybe be laid out a little better as I almost missed the wraps at the bottom- glad I didn’t as it was incredible!! Generous portion sizes, well presented, my husband was very happy with his burger too. Would definitely return and recommend.

Lovely restaurant near the ferry terminal. They have a dog friendly area inside which is great. Staff were very friendly, service was quick and the food was very tasty.

Called while waiting for the ferry back to the mainland for a snack, no problem whatsoever, a very enjoyable hot sausage roll and coffee with a delicious slice of strawberry gateau to finish with, the staff seemed very aware of covid rules, just wish we had called before.

Great place. Fabulous varied menu, something for everyone. The food was excellent, the place was immaculate and the staff were really attentive and friendly. Best of all, the dog was able to come in with us. Looking forward to another visit when we are back in Arran.

We had their special focaccia & a wrap, which both came with lots of sides. Great portion size and very good price! We paid £20 (including a tip) for 2 good meals, drinks and a pudding to take home with us. Staff were lovely and we will 100% be visiting again!

So I was on the Isle of arran visiting family and like local producers who source locally and have visited the little rock before now inside and the outside areas are spotless the waiting staff are on there toes asking if you know what you would like or would you like time now I like a cooked breakfast when it's not me cooking so I had the big arran breakfast and did not disappoint we sat outside in the sunshine with stunning views great service and fantastic food what more could you ask for oh that's right it's dog friendly with some treats and water for your furry one was also popular with cyclists for coffee and cake I would say if you are in brodick you must try it's easy to find by the shore behind the crazy golf

Popped in here on arrival in Brodick (recommended by out hotel) and had a great light lunch which we both enjoyed - tasty and great value for money.

We stopped here twice, for tea, during our stay and even though we had to sit outside ( Covid regulations)’there was friendly and efficient table service and very good cakes and scones and a choice of teas and coffees. Reasonably priced and delightful on a sunny afternoon.

A lovely little shop! We visited the shop once and the produce was amazing. We then visited for lunch - amazing food. I loved my fish and chips. We then visited for brunch and avocado on toast was amazing. They also accommodated well for GF.

People have recommended this place as the one of finest places to eat on the island. Let me tell you, they were not wrong! The best breakfast I have ever had bar none!

Popped in for a breakfast with my wife and our puppy in their dog friendly area. The food was delicious (eggs benedict & smashed avocado with sun dried tomatoes recommended).Staff were very friendly & they had taken all precautions due to Covid by taking a name & number before seating us.Could leave without buying some of the home made cakes too.

We visited twice. Both times we had cake. These are some of the best on the Island. It’s a gem of a place and obviously popular. Great staff - superb atmosphere

We stopped for some cold drinks on what was a very hot day in September so didn't really sample anything else. The produce on offer looked very inviting and we would definitely use the place again if in the area. Very convenient for the ferry too.

Another fantastic lunch with our family last week. Baked potatoes are perfect everytime, their home made coleslaw is delicious (delighted to see you can now buy some in their new Wee Deli shop) we also sampled kids milkshakes (big hit), hot chocolate coffees and kids meals not to mention a few different cakes, all excellent. There is always a fantastic choice of sweet treats up at the counter. The standard of service is always high and so is the cleanliness. The new Wee Deli is lovely and so are the take away meals on offer, Thai food (excellent), pies, curries, pastas are some we've seen so far. Also can't wait to try some of the wine on offer!

Very good lunch for vegetarian daughter and I at this popular cafe. More than one visit made for home baking too. Monster empire biscuits, cinnamon cake and lotus cake to die for. Well worth a visit for sit in or take away.

Just along the road from the ferry terminal, Little Rock is an excellent café offering all of the usual fair plus something more substantial in the way of relaxed eating (burgers were very popular with other clients). Good coffee and cakes. Excellent indoor space and VERY thorough cleaning of tables and touch points at all times. Well worth a visit to enjoy the views over the sea beyond Brodick Crazy Golf.

One of our best stops in many a month. Friendly staff and delicious cakes - look out for the caramel and banana cake.

Always the first stop off the ferry, and of course we’ve been back since this trip too. Breakfast, morning coffee and cake or lunch - always served promptly and with a smile. Looking forward to breakfast on the day we leave already...it’ll soften the blow of having to go!

This was our first stop on arrival to Brodick off the Ferry. We sat outside as the weather was glorious, but inside looked lovely too. Dog friendly which is why we went initially. Fish and chips was lovely and prawn salad was nice and fresh. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely return

Went to this little cafe after departing the ferry . Both had the Scottish breakfast which was made up of products from the Arran butcher, very tasty and also breakfast rolls containing these items available. The cafe has a little shop attached where you can purchase fresh goods and cakes. Very popular and great view over Brodick

An attractive bistro and deli with excellent Covid-19 arrangements. Delightful staff and delicious food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Great cafe near the ferry, lovely interior and amazing views from inside of the beach and goat fell.Food was great, plenty of choice and quick friendly service.The deli looked great as well but didn't have a chance to try it, save it for next time!

We went for a coffee but could not resist the veggie breakfast options. It was so good we went back. Great service and a really friendly atmosphere with wonderful views of Goatfell and Brodick Bay.

Excellent coffee, lovely granola, fruit compote option, well prepared eggs benedict etc. I’m sure they are good for other meals through the day but we particularly enjoyed our breakfasts here! Service very good and they are managing ‘social distancing’ well.

Toastie was amazing! Veggie melt & a cup of soup (tomato&basil), I would highly recommend visiting here. Brilliant value for money with a huge portion for the price. Other places charge far more for far less. We will definitely return.

My wife and I both had Fish and Chips. The staff were very friendly and food was cooked well. We were able to sit outside in the sun and take in the gorgeous view over Brodick Bay. Very pleased.

We were so lucky to get off the ferry at Brodick and called into the Cafe/Deli. I can’t recommend this establishment enough, coffee was fantastic. Stopped everyday before our walk to get our lunch and have my morning coffee was more than I could possibly hoped for when arranging our walking holiday. Cris and he’s energetic team went the extra mile and were always simians engaging.

Have visited before but on this occasion only wanted takeaway drinks which were all delicious. Good one way system and hand sanitiser available. Great deli ( salmon pate is fantastic), cakes looked fab as usual. Friendly, helpful staff and great views from benches outside. We will be back.

Great location - overlooking Brodick bay. Inside and outside seating. Good range of mainly snack (baked potatoes, panini's, nachos etc). Food and service good.

Visited for lunch had burger and chips the burger was delicious best ever tasted.I sat outside and order arrived very quickly staff very friendly would recommend highly.

I absolutely love it here at Little Rock, the food is of a good quality but their milkshakes are to die for. They are hands down some of the best I’ve ever tasted. They also have good safety measures in place during the pandemic which were straight forward and easy to follow and also allowed us to feel safe during our visit here.

Great place, staff so friendly and very good Covid precautions in place. Ordered a Prawn salad and nearly fell off chair when it arrived, hugh platefull and beautifully presented, and my husbands fish and chips was voted best for ages. We returned at the end of week for breakfast and was also great. Can't fault food or staff.

Went for an early lunch. Excellent one way and ordering system. Tuna melt panini to die for. Delicious baking. Cheerful staff. Couldn't have been better!

This place gets 5 stars from me as the food is very good and also the fact that they allow dogs even inside is a great bonus for people with dogs. Keep up the good work!

A wet day on Arran was warmed up by good food! I had the New Yorker on toasted ciabatta, very nice but us NY'ers like more pastrami! My partner had the pulled pork and a banana milkshake and loved it. Busy but quick turn around, worth the wait. Great food and service. Almost never get dessert, but once we saw the next table's goodies and hand-made, we ordered too and we were not disappointed! Good food reasonable prices - worth stopping IN,

Great service- tables sanitised quickly between customers so even though they were busy we didn’t wait long. Good menu with generous portions, with the added bonus of being in the ‘eat out to help out’ scheme!

If you're coming in for a quick snack before going for the ferry, forget it but the wait for the food is well worth it. Take away service was thriving when we were there. Good choice of food at good prices and all the servers we came into contact with were very pleasant.Thoroughly recommend it, and if you're just looking for a snack but feel that wee bit hungrier, add the wee soup to your orderBreakfast finishes at 11.30 and the other menu starts at 11.45, so make sure you time your visit right as they turn the kitchen around after breakfast finishes

We always make the effort to stop here for lunch when we are visiting Arran. We have been coming here for years and the staff are always great and we have never had a better lunch or coffee on the island. Perfectly located near the ferry terminal for those about to depart or arriving to grab some food. Dogs are welcome and there are places to sit outside if the weather allows. There is now a deli inside and there are also a good selection of cakes etc that you can take away as well.

Great place for lunch, good value , family friendly , though its smaller now that part of it has been turned into a deli, which isn't great if you don't like the smell of wet dog when you are eating, as we were near dog friendly area.

Lovely little cafe right in the middle of Brodick next to the crazy golf. All of the staff were very friendly and they’re doing a great job with cleanliness for COVID, feels safe. We only had cakes and coffee and returned 2 days later for something similar so a good sign of a lovely cafe. Would high,y recommend a visit while in Brodick.

My family had lunch here and we all really, really enjoyed the food (salmon bagel, pulled pork panini and nachos, chicken bites with chips). Great portion sizes, good value, delicious milkshakes. The coleslaw looked homemade and was very tasty. Staff were really friendly and helpful and all the safety, hygiene, one way system measures were being practised due to Covid-19. There was a dog friendly area so we could eat in with ours. Nice fresh decor and vibe. There was a great selection of tasty looking cakes/sweets, the caramel shortcake was delicious. Next time we go to Arran we'll definitely go back to Little Rock.

just returned from Arran had lunch here twice -amazing - good system in place for covid and food super choice and good portions - had a takeaway from their deli one evening = chicken green thai and panang -would buy again excellent and beats all ready meals

Lovely lunch here before heading for our Alpaca trek last week. Not sure why it says closed,It was during lockdown and was refurbished. Looks lovely now and although we couldn’t eat in we sat and ate outside. Under an umbrella. Staff nice and accommodating, made my lo’s milkshake with coconut milk as she can’t do Cow’s milk. We had a southern fried chicken burger, a pulled pork wrap and scampi (which my little one loves , but they don’t do a child’s portion) so we just shared everything. Limited children’s menu like most places. (I do wish more restaurants would offer more variety for kids,?even a half portion of whatever is in the normal menu, as they aren’t all on a limited diet of chicken nuggets and like more variety.)All in all had a nice lunch, generous fillings in burgers and wraps, and would go back.

Fantastic little cafe in Brodick which has fantastic views across the bay. Great home cooking and fantastic coffee! Definitely worth a visit.

Popped in for some lunch. The cafe seemed busy but we only waited a few minutes on being seated. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious! Ideal for something quick and tasty. We liked it so much we returned the next day before heading onto the ferry. If your sitting at the window it’s also a lovely view.

Stopped in here for cake & coffee whilst waiting for ferry home to mainland. Menu choices extensive as was cake counter. Really friendly staff, efficient service, and clean, couldn’t fault at all!They have best selection of Gluten Free cakes on the island that we had come across , so big plus!Will defo be back when back in Arran.

Excellent food, brilliant breakfast selection. Very friendly staff, especially a Polish young lady. Dog friendly, including water & treats. Good variety of drinks, all round top , a must on any Arran visit, would highly recommend. Will be back.

Great wee place for a late breakfast (or lunch) offering a wide range of good food and drinks. We chose from the breakfast menu (which runs to 11:30). A full “Arran” breakfast, French Toast with maple syrup and bacon and a triple tatie scone roll were well presented and of good quantity and quality. Washed down with a tea, coffee and apple juice the bill was a pleasing £24.50. The cafe has a large section to one side where pets (well dogs) are made very welcomed. A great cafe serving good food with pleasant staff. Well worth a visit.

Ordered Scotish breakfast not good. Mass produced and not made to order, food just warm and some unable to eat. Coffee excellent!

Visited Arran for the day and stopped here for lunch. Close to the ferry terminal. Great selection on the menu, couldn’t decide what to have. Opted for a panini and chips which was nice, followed by a delicious brownie from the cake cabinet. Fabulous service and great views from the table we had at the window. Will be back!

Walking along looking for something to eat. Saw this place, looks much smaller from the outside! Staff very friendly, opted for the soup, very tasty. Would thourly recommend.

Arranged to meet a few friends here and we weren’t disappointed, a nice change to see a dog friendly cafe, although we were too late for hot food which we knew, we were very well looked after.

I'm a regular visitor to Arran and happy to say Little Rock has maintained a fabulous standard since opening 5 years ago, it is a great place overlooking Brodick Bay, go

A must visit, when you visit Brodick. Friendly, attentive staff. Quick service, even though it was quite busy. Varied menu and the food, that my family and I had was tasty/decent sized portions. Wheelchair accessible. Will certainly be back.

We were staying at the nearby Auchrannie and fancied an early morning walk so headed to Little Rock, which opens reasonably early for breakfast. We had a fully cooked Scottish and a bagel, both were excellent, in fact too much food in the case of the full breakfast, but that is a good complaint. The staff are friendly and it is a comfortable place to eat. They also are pet friendly which I think is a good thing these days, especially on Arran.

Sobre el menú es variado, pedimos hamburguesas, la carne estaba muy cocida ( prefiero medium) pero aún así era rica. Puedes llevar a tu mascota sin problema. La relación calidad-precio muy bien.

Was planning on going here for lunch with my partner and my daughter and daughters boyfriend. As we were crossing the road we me my partners friend who was also heading here to meet her brother. So 6 of us descend on the cafe but they get us a table almost immediately. Waitress came and took our orders very quickly. All our food and drinks arrived within 10 mins even though the cafe was very busy. All the food was hot and tasty.

I ordered nachos and their special coconut milkshake and they were both very good. Staff were nice and service was good considering the place was very busy. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed 2 visits to Little Rock and were very impressed. Great food, fabulous milkshakes and coffee and the most hardworking, attentive staff. This is a must visit when you're in Brodick.

We popped in for a quick meal while out cycling and found this cafe to be very friendly and pleasant. There was a good late morning/lunchtime menu and staff were very quick to offer to adapt the vegetarian breakfast to a vegan one with a few substitutions. The coffee here is excellent too.

We popped in before we got the ferry back to the mainland. We both had the french toast with maple syrup and bacon. Huge portion, freshly cooked and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and service quick. Can definitely recommend.

A lovely warm, genuine welcome when we arrived. Dogs are allowed in to one side of the cafe which is perfect if the weather is inclement.

Very friendly, good food and beautiful views. You can sit inside or outside, which is a prime spot for the beautiful views across Brodick Bay. We visited Little Rock twice during our 4 day stay and we arrived shortly before closing, but this was not a problem. They were happy to serve us tea and cakes and what's more they waited for us to finish with no pressure after closing time. We came back today, because of the good service we received, for a light lunch and very tasty it was too.Thank you Little Rock and all your staff, such a warm and friendly place and an asset to Arran. I would recommend you every time.

Being a group of 6 friends we knew getting a table for 6 might be a problem in such a busy place but staff did everything to find us a suitable table. We visited twice during our fortnight stay and although the peas and chips were a bit on the cool side the first time this was sorted when we went the second time when we pointed this out. The plates were hotter the second time and we think the chips and peas had been left on the plate waiting for the freshly fried fish and scampi to be added the first time !!

Great food and friendly service in this gem in the centre of Broddick. The breakfasts were so good we went back every morning. You wont be disappointed if you give it a try.

We spent 4 days on Arran and visited this wee gem every day for breakfast! The food is delicious with good vegetarian options if required, it has a dog friendly section and the price are fantastic.
