We booked for a birthday arrived on time had drinks order food and wine all excellent we ask for the bill and settled up accordingly with some cash and cards £395 total we was a a dish missing garlic potatoes etc but nevertheless the rest was very good on the way out we said our goodbyes and left in the car park we was chased out by one of the staff waving our bill demanding it be paid in full IT WAS 4p SHORT by mistake too And we was a dish of potatoes missing too so maybe someone needs to have a word about this and let me no

Excellent dining experience. Me and my partner were both recommended this place by different people and it did not disappoint. The service was second to none, the food was lovely and the place was buzzing. Will definitely recommend to others and return ourselves.

We visited Little Italy this evening for the first time as my Birthday treat with family. It was one of the best dining experiences any of us has ever had! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food truly was out of this world - proper Italian cuisine! We had a wonderful time - thank you Little Italy for your outstanding service and delicious dining experience! Nothing was too much trouble and we will most definitely be back! :)

Arrived 5 minutes before booked time. Waited 40 minutes in a very cramped bar area stood for all that time shoulder to shoulder with other people as no seats left. They are trying to cram too many sittings in. But not attempting to hurry people to give their table up when their times up! We were late for our table then meaning next sitting would also have to stand waiting. Not acceptable The food was terrible. Me and my partner had a calzone each—-with raw dough. Dough not authentic tasting= bready. Hot chicken, cold ham, uncooked mushrooms, cheddar cheese! and a bland watery sauce was awful. Expect little Italy to be able to rustle up a decent pizza. Will not go back

We visited Little Italy for a friend's birthday and the food was amazing. I had the steak with the Al Pepe sauce which was gorgeous. One of the best steaks I've tasted in a long time. The atmosphere and service was excellent!

They fitted us in to an overbooked night yet we didn’t feel rushed nor was anything compromised from the friendly attentive service to the lovely tasty food. All the staff were friendly with the perfect amount of attention at the right time. My wife’s lasagne left her thinking it was amongst one of the best she’d tasted. I always think a Calzone Pizza is a good test of a Restaurant and this one didn’t disappoint, topped up with a tomato garlic bread, a limone tart and mixed quality ice cream made a perfect experience.

We have come here for years and always been so happy. A few months ago we came and we were rushed from the minute we were sat down. We thought we would try again and tonight although the food was great as always., we were rushed again! As soon as our starters were cleared, our mains arrived. We then ordered liquor coffees, which had no liquor in them and were then asked to leave our table and sit near the door as our table had been booked again. We had only been sat there just under an hour and a half. This isn’t a cheap restaurant, so would at least expect to finish my full meal at the table. The restaurant changed our coffees, but they still were the same. Feel like they try and cram too many people in.

I have not been here for years and what was I missing the service was Outstanding nothing was too much the lasagne was so authentic all the food was so full of flavour. I won’t leave it so long next time before I vist.

Dinner with the family to celebrate my 80th birthday. Thanks for the excellent service and beautiful food Little Italy. A good time was had by all. A perfect choice of venue.

I visited this restaurant for lunch with my partner. To say it was quite busy, we managed to get a table but you’d need to book a table for bigger groups. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. They were so efficient, we were not waiting long for our orders to be taken or our food to come. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. I wanted to savour every mouthful. My partner had ravioli and I had a pizza and we shared fried halloumi for a starter and profiteroles for dessert. We will definitely be visiting again as we had a lovely experience and were highly satisfied. Can’t wait to try some of the other dishes available.

Please don’t let my 1 star rating deter you from eating at this restaurant. The food was fabulous as ever, as was the service. The staff and people are so attentive. You should go to this restaurant as it really is excellent. So why the 1 star review? I just left the restaurant realising what has happened. We are a table of 5 celebrating my son’s girlfriend’s 20th birthday. We arrived 7.30pm on 30th September and was shown our table. It’s clear when you book that the allocation is for 2hrs. We had a 3 course meal with drinks costing £224. At 8.45pm we are asked to leave our table in 15mins. As we had just completed our sweets (which were a little rushed) I thought no problem. 5 minutes later I was asked again to leave and go to the bar. Having no particular issue, I left the table to find the bar was full and no seats nor standing was available. As such we had to sit outside, which was far too cold. We suddenly realised that a YouTube sensation called Morgz (13 million subscribers) had occupied our seats, which explained our situation. Now clearly this is not Morgz problem, and I do not hold him responsible at all. However, upon realising what had happened, in hindsight I am really annoyed at Little Italy. Once again, the food, the staff and establishment is first class. This is actually our favourite restaurant and I can’t recommend them highly enough. However, tonight we drew the short straw and my sons girlfriend is really upset at her birthday bash being inadvertently called short. Shame on the person making the call to “oust” us from our seats, (albeit very politely) at the expense of celebrity popularity. Again, Morgz not to blame whatsoever for our experience.

Came here as a a party of 12 to celebrate my dads birthday. We were all stunned at the quality and taste of the food. We all enjoyed our meals, only downside was the fact we didn’t have enough room for pudding. Will gladly return. A couple of our party are gluten free and there were many options for them to chose from.

Went here Saturday evening and although busy we were looked after well. Excellent food. Staff were very good. Lovely atmosphere. We also come often on a Sunday lunchtime which is really good value as halfprice pizza/pasta. Reasonable vegetarian selection.

Saturday evening booking around 8pm. Place was full with a good atmosphere. Shown straight to the table by friendly greeting staff. Plenty of helpful and friendly waiting staff generally all evening. Menu is not vast but more than enough choice and sometimes smaller menus can be better. We had starters and mains, both were very tasty and presented nicely and not much of a wait at all. Nice bottle of wine about usual restaurant pricing but to be expected. Overall we both enjoyed the food and service and can see why this place has a reputation for a good dining experience. We finished with a cocktail each and out by 10pm. 10/10 Little Italy, recommended.

We normally visit little Italy once or twice a year for family birthdays. Food and service has always been excellent, with tonight being no exception. The waiting staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Food was served promptly and very hot. It was absolutely delicious. I also love that they did a smaller size portion of Lasagne for my 10 year old. Cannot fault it at all. Best Italian around. On-site parking too, which is also a bonus. Will be back very soon👍

What a beautiful meal we had ..I had the gamberoni Diavola to start ..my partner the calamari ..just so tasty and fresh …mains were the beef fillet one with Al Pepe and the other Toscana …cooked to perfection and so tender..absolutely delicious..the steaks were huge ! Great valve for the money..our first time but definitely not our last ..service was impeccable the staff very attentive..super meal

Not great . Starter £10 for two sardine size pieces of fish and that’s including the bread coating served with a minuscule amount of lettuce Music - is this not an Italian restaurant !?? Don’t understand why they are playing the music of kids Service was ok but the waitress didn’t understand English so got the order wrong we were not rude about it but they were a bit argumentative -just because you wrote it wrong doesn’t mean it was heard correctly ! The replacement pizza had hair in it possibly on purpose Pasta was delicious - like home cooked but overpriced for a few bits of chicken and penne pasta no Parmesan offered no free bread overall totally overpriced.

Not been to Little Italy for some time but took advantage of their Sunday “Half Price Pizza & Pasta offer. Easy to find on the main road through Dronfield with parking on site. We had booked & I would definitely advise doing this as the restaurant was full all the time we were there. Great choice of foods from straightforward pizza & pasta dishes to chicken/fish/meat options. Definitely something to suit all tastes & dietary requirements. Food was absolutely delicious, served by friendly & efficient staff. Couldn’t fault our meal here, highly recommend.

First visit since the restaurant re-opened and cannot fault anything - food was as good as ever, as was the service (just what you would expect from them on both fronts) - clearly they have a new set of challenges with the restrictions that are now in place but they have put new measures in place that make you feel safe as a customer and are clearly working hard to maintain this - absolutely no surprise at all but special thanks to George & the team.

Booked in as a two with quite short notice on Sunday night no problems. We’d not been to Little Italy before and had a great time! The staff were all so lovely without being overbearing. The Pasticcio Al Forno and a Spaghetti Bolognese were our choices and both came as large portions and absolutely delicious. We’d forgotten to order a side so asked somebody before our food arrived and it was no problem, everything still arrived at the same time and piping hot. We didn’t have room for desserts but the selection looked delicious. Under current circumstances, all tables were adequately spaced out, staff masked up and plenty of hand sanitiser available everywhere. Absolutely would come again!

Have waited so long for Little Italy to reopen, and we have not been disappointed. Nothing has changed - The same warm welcome from George, the same excellent service, the same top quality food. The fillet steak was superb. .. I must try something different sometime, but why?We will be back very shortly.

We were really lucky to get a table on re-opening night, and were impressed how the restaurant handled the new guidance without effecting the atmosphere. The food was outstanding, we're both in agreement Little Italy serve the finest steak's in Sheffield. Can't wait to be back!

Been to this restaurant several times and always a fantastic experience. On this occasion, they were busy and we couldn’t book a table until 8:30. We arrived early and we were quickly accommodated. Never had anything lower than an excellent meal off the menu and the profiteroles are a must have! Staff are always very polite and sociable. Would recommend making a reservation as they do get busy even in the week.

I visited with my wife and we were seated under an air conditioning blower which was uncomfortable. After the staff allowed us to move we had a great night. The place, the food and the service was excellent and we will be returning again shortly.

I went there for a quick pizza with my children and it was probably the worst pizza I had in a long time. To say that Dr Oetker pizzas probably taste better, it says it all. The pizzas are also small and well overpriced (£11.50 for a margherita!) for what they are. I have not had any other food from this place so the review is limited to the quality of their pizzas. It's called Little Italy but there is probably no Italian working in there as I have spotted several Italian spelling mistakes on the menu (the most ridiculous being bread being translated to "panne"!). One can only laugh at this!Sorry, I will not go there ever again.

Wow I love this restaurant so much and I am never disappointed my husband took me here tonight for a birthday treat along with some friends who haven't visited before. The food was delicious as always I ordered steak which was cooked to perfection and very filling. Our friends thoroughly enjoyed their meal and a great night was had by all. First ever visit although we live about 3/4 mile away. Friendly efficient staff. My wife is coeliac but not a problem. We visited 6.30pm on a Saturday. It was busy with a friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend and will visit again before Christmas.
