Not wheel chair friend in fact it's all steps and stairs but when you do get up there it's just perfect with attentive staff and the food is well worth the visit. Not rushed starved hot with attention to detail that enhances the visit

Had dinner here with a friend a couple of weeks ago. The steamed sea bass in ginger was delicious. And the service was good. It was busy so make sure you book.

Lovely Chinese food and great service. Can be noisy when it gets full - perhaps more soft furnishings may help.

Consistently excellent food and great service

We’ve had LHK a few times now and it never disappoints. The quality of food is amazing and all so delicious. We had the emperor’s banquet which was excellent value for money. Yes it’s slightly more than a regular Chinese but you can definitely tell from the quality. The fillet steak in Cantonese sauce was delicious. My only small downside was that for the scallops we only received one each. I’m not sure if this is standard for the banquet but if I was paying £14 for the separately I would expect more. Delivery on time and otherwise big portions.

We ordered food during lockdown and had it delivered. We couldn't fault the meal in any way but it was only as good as other Chinese takeaway's in our area, the meal was over double the price of a standard takeaway. Maybe LHK could reduce the prices for takeway while it cany trade as a restaurant?

Wow! I wasn't expecting much before we arrived after looking at the menu prior to our visit because it's only a small menu, however, i was proven wrong. The food was absolutely amazing, so tasty. I was really impressed. The service from the team was also brilliant. Thank you for a great night, looking forward to returning soon.

Great little place, healthy portions with a good vibe. We had ordered duck pancakes for a starter which filled us up and we had to take our main courses away with us.

This is a very good chinese restaurant, you could not fault the food, it was all piping hot, incredibly tasty and a good selection. However the most important quality is the service, it was absolutely brilliant. Always attentive, you never waited for a drink and the food was served in a calm, timely and totally pleasant way. Will return.

Little Hong Kong has Nice food and pleasant staff. Tables were well spaced out. Well worth a visit, this was our first.

Came with family and part of the eat out to help out scheme.Brilliant meal, everything was tasty.Service was great apart from the end where after everything was cleared, we seemed to be ignored for a long time when we just wanted the bill.Otherwise, everything was perfect and we will be back

We went for the first time since re-opening after lockdown (after having a good experience previously) and the tables were nicely spaced out, the staff wore masks. The food was absolutely excellent, really impressed and the service was very good too. Can’t wait to come back!

First visit to little Hong Kong Valentine’s Day with my partner and the food was delicious! The staff were very friendly and the place overal is great. Usually Chinese restaurants don’t look very nice inside, but this place is lovely! Will definitely be back! Thanks

Birthday meal Friday 31st Jan 2020.The decore, service and quality of the meal was absolutely fantastic. We were waited on by friendly staff who cared about what they were doing and also took time to explain some of the menues. I would recommend this restaunt to anybody. The price was reasonable also. Very well worth it, but you need to book in advance it is popular.

Great food and service, the restaurant was really busy with it being valentines but the kitchen kept up and staff where excellent. Clearly a restaurant that strives for excellent food as the standard and quality was second to none.

Ordered a takeaway, LHK platter.... ok, nothing special. Two mains, egg fried rice and chips. Charged £35- which we believe was an over charge as we priced at £32. Got home... no chips!! Mains ok, but as many have said.... had better at local takeaway!!! Sadly, will not go again.

Restaurant very quiet, service excellent and friendly. Food arrived very very quickly !? Chopsticks looked well used so I opted for a fork and spoon ! Starters good but main meal prawn and chicken fried rice was substandard, the chicken was obviously precooked then diced and added to the rice !, very expensive, I can get better food from my local takeaway for half the price. Won’t be going back !

We were gifted a £50 voucher for Christmas so we booked a table for 2 at 7.30 on a Saturday, we ordered a bottle of wine £22 the cheapest on the wine list, we had soup, Platter of starters of spring rolls, seaweed, dim sum, chicken satay and ribs, 1 each, and a main course each and we shared a rice we loved the soup and starters but neither of us liked the main course at £14 each, we also ordered a beer each, by 8.30 it was all over and we had a bill of £99 ! It was very busy and very noisy we left and went home disappointed, I was grateful for the voucher but we won’t go again it is vastly overpriced and has a limited menu.

Enjoyed a lovely family birthday meal, in the early evening. They were able to advise and cope with a young child with allergies. Were very helpful in describing the many, and various choices on offer! In all, a lovely occasion.

I was a bit worried when I saw I was going to be eating in a room above a pub BUT it was great!

We had a brilliant night here, 6 of us went and had starters and mains, the food came out nice and quick and was absolutely delicious! We were kept topped up with drinks and the service was brilliant and fun! Will definitely be back again!

We come here at least once a month to either dine in or have a takeaway. Great staff, nothing is too much trouble.

We enjoyed a fine meal of varied chinese dishes accompanied by a bottle of their excellent Pino Grigio. The whole experience was very enjoyable and we shall continue to visit on a regular basis.

Myself and girlfriend visited here very recently. The food and service are great. Some of the dishes we had were Singapore vermicelli, sweet and sour chicken and pork with pak Choi. All dishes were fresh and flavoursome. They even sell my favourite lager, asahi. Will definitely visit again.

Arrived at 9pm to sit down and was told takeaway only; returned at 9:50 for a takeaway and told the kitchen had gone home. Only two tables occupied in the restaurant so I won’t be hurrying back.

Title says it all. Yet another delicious meal. Went for the hungry dragon banquet and was completely stuffed. They even threw in prawn crackers and an extra portion of noodles at no extra charge. Courteous attentive service and excellent food. Popped downstairs for a couple of drinks after. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and will return soon.

I can honestly say this is the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in Food for 18 people absolutely terrible Service the same Bland tasteless food sorry to say Love the dressers and our room in the hotel was amazing AVOID THE CHINESE RESTAURANT

A birthday evening out was truly delicious & delightful - service great, food really great - a bit pricey but will be back for sure.

Visited Saturday evening for 7:30 pm reservation, we were told we couldn’t come at eight as they had a lot of other tables coming in at that time however I counted nine clear tables after eight and no one else came.

Had dinner here last night a return visit after many years. The appearance of the restaurant has changed drastically, and for the better, following the fire and complete rebuild, it’s now a bright modern space that really shows off the Chinese heritage. The food was, to put it simply, superb; the menu is extensive and though we made different selections ( sizzling Cantonese Steak, Duck in Black Bean Sauce, crispy chicken with bean Sprouts and Vermicelli Noodles Singapore Style) what we had was consistently delicious. This is probably the best Chinese meal I’ve ever had.

Ordered food to collect and it was delicious. Definitely the best Chinese we have tried in Chorley. Will definitely be returning.

Our first visit to this Restaurant though we have been to the Dressers Arms many times. The meal was the Sunday special menu and was very good and excellent value for money. For £19:95 per person we had selection of starters including ribs, salt and pepper chicken wings, wontons and spring rolls. Followed by crispy duck and pancakes and then a choice of main course with rice. The main courses were varied, we had sweet and sour chicken, crispy chilli beef, chicken in black Bean and pork sechuan, all were lovely, no room for a dessert. The staff were pleasant, the decor was tasteful and the air conditioning was great on a warm evening. Would highly recommend.

Arrived here after 2 other restaurants had an hour wait for a non booked table. Wasnt really in the mood for Chinese if Im honest but it was excellent. Ended up pleased that we couldnt dine at the other places! Never been here before, but will go again.

Really enjoyed the food here and the waitress was very friendly and nice. The spring rolls and salt and pepper chicken was very nice. Great to know they also do take out but will be back for a sit in meal. Early bird is very reasonable prices.

If you only go for the prawn toast you are in for a treat family of 20 not a single complaint. 10/20

A really good menu from set dishes to individual portions everything arrives and delivers great taste. Good service and can get very busy on Friday nights and weekends, good for Sunday lunch.

Another fantastic experience at Little Hong Kong. I had chicken lettuce wrap to start followed by the sea bass which at £22 was one of the most expensive mains on the menu but was most definitely worth it. The fish was enormous! It was filleted at the table by the waitress and it was abosultely delicious. It was so big I couldn't eat anything else with it! My sister had sweet and sour chicken and the other 3 all had Singapore vermicelli. The service was as always fabulous and I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Great takeaway from here, the two lads that work there are very pleasant. Never had a bad meal yet. Eaten in a few times and its always been a good night

Went to try the early bird menu and booked for 6pm. Just a couple of tables in so not busy. service was great quick and we were looked after by the lovely friendly Kitty.

We went here on a Saturday evening. We were seated immediately, then asked if we wanted drinks which came very quickly. We ordered our food and it came quickly, lots of it, so much that we couldn't finish what we had ordered, excellent food. The price is not cheap, more expensive than some other Chinese restaurants but it was worth the it.

We visited LHK for a family meal. We had booked a table so we’re seated immediately. Staff were polite and friendly. Speed of service was good without being rushed and we didn’t feel under any pressure to vacate our table. Our meals were excellent; tasty, hot and good portion sizes. Our meal came to £140 for seven of us which I felt was reasonable. I would certainly visit again.

We live in Bolton and haven’t managed to find a good Chinese restaurant local. We saw this place and decided to give it a go. Food was amazing, service was amazing. Recommend the salt and pepper chicken wings and beef in black bean sauce. The early bird is great value and the portions are excellent. We had to take some of ours home!

I’ve visited the little Hong Kong Restaurant many times over the last couple of years and I have to say, I really do enjoy everything about this little gem. If you’re not careful it’s easy enough to drive passed as it hidden away above the Dressers Arms. Once inside the ambience is so relaxing, the food is delicious and the service and staff are wonderful. But don’t take my word for it... go visit and see for yourself!

We called by chance and were accommodated without any problem. The food was delicious and the wine was reasonably priced and really nice. The staff were lovely and we will definitely be returning. Would recommend.

After look few reviews I decided to book a table for Valentines.

This is the 2nd time I’ve been here and the food is the best Chinese I’ve had in the Chorley area. Singapore Vermicelli Noodles are a big hit as are the Shredded Chicken Lettuce Wraps. A shame we couldn’t eat in tonight as they were “fully booked”. We opted for takeaway and found only 3 tables taken when we went to collect our food(!). Oh well, still thoroughly enjoyed their delicious food in the comfort of home.

Ordered a take away one chicken one char siu and chips, ready when I arrived got home food was cold because of waiting to collect chips for £ 2-50 was the smallest I’ve seen but after checking the Char Siu was Chicken, the Chicken was so rubbery through being boiled it was almost inedible so overpriced

Visited a few times and loved each visit. Food is by far the best Chinese around, service with a smile and great value.

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times over the years and always vow to visit more often as the food is always very good. This visit was a Monday night and was pretty full which must be down to parties going on.

Visited here for the first time recently. It was a Saturday night, pre-booked for 4 people at 7.30. We met in the bar of the Dressers Arms which is directly below so I guess is connected in some way, apart from the obvious flight of stairs! The pub was really busy but we were offered a seat at a reserved table until those guests arrived which was nice.

We visited Little Hong Kong recently and ordered the Sunday banquet. We enjoyed the sharing starter but was disappointed there were no prawn crackers. The duck and pancakes were nice, however the three main courses we ordered weren't the best, which was disappointing. Probably won't be rushing back.

We went as family and friends to celebrate my niece birthday,which was a table of 14. First time I've been to LHK,I will defo be going back. Everywhere was very clean and tidy which is always a good start. What did stand out was that they had NOT been greed with the space , plenty of room. We all order different meals everyone was more than happy with their choice. Staff very accomating, which means a date to return is a must ... x

As the title says, this was our first visit here. I'm not as keen on Chinese food as my OH, but I'd seen the Nasi Goreng on the menu, which I always enjoy when In Holland. We both had a starter, one duck spring rolls and one vegetable spring rolls, both very good. I then ordered the Nasi Goreng, my OH the duck in plum sauce. The Nasi was nice, although nothing like I'm used to, but a change is as good as a rest! The duck was very fatty, but according to my OH that is not unusual; not being used to Chinese restaurants I thought it seemed to have more fat than meat! My inexperience I suppose. Service was good and we both enjoyed it; I thought it was a tad pricey.

Been here a few times now and the food is lovely. Good quality meats and sauces when dining in or taking away. Staff lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend

We really enjoyed our visit here - excellent atmosphere and great food and drink! The service was great and the amount of food in the banquet was staggering! Usually this can mean poorer quality but not here - the best around Chorley by a long way!

Visited here mid week for a birthday celebration. Ordered two platters and a variety of main courses. All delicious. Can’t wait to go again!

Visited on a Tuesday night, was quite busy- extensive menu and a great value 2 course special too. Ordered off the main menu. The mixed starters were tasty- especially the salt n pepper squid and the prawn toast. Ordered a mixture of Thai and Chinese mains- the king prawns are huge! Four starters, four mains and four drinks for less than £100, all of us were left stuffed! Pre drinks in the dressers too! Great combination and would recommend!

We thought we would try here on the early bird menu. We asked for prawn crackers too and was shocked we got charged £3 for these, which most places are complimentary. The food was good and quick service. Also drinks were very expensive

Tried this place for the first time and WOW! If you love chinese food then you have to try here. Absolute hidden gem above a very nice country pub.

Visit regularly and never been disappointed, staff are friendly and efficient, food excellent and the drinks are reasonable (plus there is a great pub downstairs). Certainly a more modern restaurant with an extensive menu with minimal MSG. Happy to give them 5b stars and would recommend it to anyone in the area.
