Visité el restaurante Linen Lounge por primera vez con mi grupo de caminantes de más de 20 personas. Visited recently with friends. The food was delicious and the service great. Our server was lovely - friendly and told us all about the menu. The wine list was great too and very good value. I look forward to my next visit!

Had dinner here the other week and was impressed with the students, great atmosphere and willingness to please and serve. Food was fantastic. The wine needs reviewing though and more choices.

El ambiente relajado y el menú restaurantes están entre los mejores en Belfast y vale la pena un viaje hasta el Barrio Titanic. Delicious food, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere, your made to feel so welcome , the staff are so observant - before your glass is empty there is a refill on its way. brilliant value for your money !!!!

I called into the Linen Lounge on Thursday and saw it had recently been refurbished and re branded! The new decor brings a fresh look to the restaurant. The menu looked fantastic. I ordered duck spring rolls and the chicken dish and my friend ordered the brie and the crispy beef. The food was so well presented and tasted amazing. The training students were lovely and well attentive and the restaurant manager came over to make sure everything was alright. We both had 3 courses and a glass of wine for £10 each!! Excellent value for money - I will return!

The students prepared a fabulous three course meal for international delegates and it was really fabulous. They came out at the end and got a fantastic ovation!

The Linen Lounge is actually a great food experience. Allow a little patience for the students who are training here and you will enjoy a great meal in lovely surroundings for a brilliant price. If you are in the Titanic Quarter I would highly recommend you try this hidden gem. Outside of the students and staff not a lot of people are aware of this place. I have eaten here a lot and some of the dishes I've had are enough to challenge any high end restaurant in the city, especially the desserts! The menus are not extensive, but this can be a relief sometimes as you don't have to trawl through pages and it will usually have something for everyone. They have also been accommodating with regards to vegetarian choices. Huge fan!

I went here over the Christmas Period with four other friends, when we arrived we where greeted by the students of the college and were shown to our table, we were given the menus immediately and taken a drinks order, I went for the Smoked Salmon & Wheaten Bread, which was to die for, I then had Roast Turkey and Ham which was full of flavor, we had the desserts and then had mince pies and tea and coffee afterwards, overall the service was second to none, as the staff where all very attentive, the value for the meal was very good as well, which is always a bonus, I would Strongly recommend this place to anyone!!

Visited the Linen Lounge with, and on the recommendation of, a great friend. I'd no idea what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. From the warm welcome and freshly baked warm bread to receiving the very reasonable bill at the end of the evening, I found no fault. Yes, the waiting staff are training and, just occasionally get things a little wrong, but they are so very pleasant and keen to know that you're having a good evening that it really has little effect on enjoying the experience.The food was great. We had mussels to start and then main courses of pulled pork and sole. All were .faultless. At three courses for £10, it is incredible value, and all in a very pleasant location in the midst of the Titanic Quarter. Highly recommended and I look forward to a return visit.

I've been in a few times - coffee and home made scones for £1.50! However, I went in for lunch this week and it was the students' first day. There were lots of nervous but smiley faces all lined up, all jostling for position, just to serve me and I ordered the chicken.The chicken arrived VERY quickly - it was extremely well cooked and arranged very well on the plate. It tasted very good indeed, although I would say that having more vegetables would've gone down well with me. Overall, mistakes were made in serving me, but you know what? When you see all those enthusiastic and cheerful young faces, you really don't mind.Well done the lecturer and her young charges out front and in the kitchen. Let me tell you there are places I've been to eat in which are in the business of making money and they didn't impress me as much as you did. The L plates can come off now.

Found this little gem when visiting the Tall Ships event in Belfast at the weekend. The restaurant is spotless and the students very attentive. Very reasonably priced lunch - lasagne / salmon salad with wheaten bread plus glass of red wine £14.95 - where would you get that? My only criticism is that on our table was a saxo salt and saxo pepper container - the majority of tables had the proper salt/pepper containers but a few tables had saxo ones . Other than that very well done and keep up the good work

Discovered this venue recently whilst walking in Titanic Quarter. Lovely food and prices are very reasonable. This is a student training facility however service and quality were impressive.

the linen lounge is found in the heart of the titanic quarter and is inside Belfast Metropolitan College, I go to the resturant a lot of the food is ALWAYS amazing the staff is ALWAYS friendly and the atmosphere is fab. The food is such good quality and for a very good price. #visitbelfast

Atttended a NI Guild of Agricultural Journalists event with a briefing followed by lunch. The room used for the presentation by the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers was ideal and the lunch that followed was inspring.As each course was about to be served students addressed our 17 strong party on how the food they cooked was sourced from local farms. Their enthusiasm was inspring as was the work of their tutors. I would urged others to enjoy this college facility used to train hospitality studends in Belfast Met opposite the last White Star ship, the Nomadic. The surroundings are as up beat as the students and their tutors.Do take time to plan which car park is best. Ensure it is pay on departure rather than prepay for a set periond. We used the college underground car park.The Linen Room is ideal for those visiting the Public Record Office NI, surrounding businesses or the Titanic Centre.

4 courses for £10 all be it one of them was a coffee. Lovely surroundings students very attentive if a little bit unsure of themselves. Food good. The wheaten bread was to die for excellent. Our starter of crispy chicken wings in sweet chilli sauce was a bit disappointing as they were not in the least crispy. We all wanted the steak for mains but it seemed to have all been preordered by phone not sure how that worked as we had booked days beforehand and weren't given the opportunity to preorder. However our mains were good and the sweets also. The house wine was also good and value for money. Would go back and recommend to friends.

We had our lunch here on recommendation from our daughter. We were not let down. It is a bit fiddly for car parking as you have to go underground. Inside it is well set out. College students take the order and serve under instructions from their Tutors. The student who took our order, looked as if she didn't want to be their, but after that the other Students were very courteous. The service was quick. We opted for 2 courses with complimentary bread. Our soup was delicious again served with bread. Main meal was also very good. Tutor on hand to correct Students if need be. We will return.

A large group descended on the Met to avail for the second time of the delights of the Linen Room. The students were friendly and well prepared in customer service. The two course meal had been previously discussed with College staff and was excellent. Buffet style, it allowed choices and the coeliac clients were also considered. Portions are good and as these are training students we did forgive the date stones in the delicious sticky toffee pudding. Excellent value, warm welcome, happy students and a replete group.
