I ordered a chowmein if I was just writing a review on the chowmein it would be five stars, but I ordered the chicken and gravy also and for over 7 pounds I would of expected chips as other Chinese do the same dish with chips and gravy and it's cheaper. I don't see how just a chicken breast is over 7 pounds the quality of chicken I wouldn't say is better then other restaurants but sold as a main I don't think I know anyone who would just have a chicken breast with a few peas and mushrooms. Take it off the menu or add chips to the dish. Now I have had from here a few times and the food is always amazing. My only gripe is how expensive the chicken is for just the chicken breast.

Paid 43 quid for tasteless soggy greasy food had a mix box for 23 pound chicken was raw had one rib cut into 7 pieces chow mein was congealed save your bowels don't go here rip off merchants don't care about the food quality

Ordered chicken and it came with no chips did not state this on menu ordered satay sauce like water would not recommend at all spend your money on something else £20 spent did not enjoy that

I have tried many different items in this restaurant , it's too good both taste wise and service. It is suitable for everyone. It's more affordable and with in the budget for a common man. 🙏🙏🙏 Thanks.

So ordered from here and I can honestly say that it was the worst chinese I've ever had, it cost me £57 ,I called up and told them how bad the food was only for her to say I will give you £5 off my next order I don't think so I will never use this place again ,and for people why read this review take it from me DONT ORDER FROM HERE . It's not even worth a 1 star .

I'm sorry but the food was absolutely terrible, I can honestly say nothing was great, are usual local chinese is ocean longton and everything is consistent, just thought we wud try a change, ribs in garlic!!! Couldn't even taste any garlic, combi box appalling. Battery chicken!! Batter!! Really dont no were the chicken was!! Seaweed!!!!!! Fried cabbage!!! Terrible experience definitely will never not be ordering again. Sorry to be so blunt, but u really need to go ocean chinese longton for a chef training day

Great value for money very tasty and piping hot food

Originally we spent £45 and food was poor BUT owner replied swiftly to my review and was happy to assist and offer apologies. Spoke over the phone and was offered a discount , wasn't the full amount but was happy to accept what was offered. Ordered food again , and was the normal great Chinese food that Lins (fenton) usually delivers , food was fresh , had flavour and was tasty. It was a shame for the "off day" but owner handled it with respect for a customer which not alot of places do. So Thank you.

First time trying here wasn’t sure as there aren’t too many photo reviews and I like to check what the food looks like before trying, was happy with everything when it arrived only took 25 mins :) the salt and pepper chips and chicken were really tasty lots of flavour, the egg fried rice was nice different to other takeaways I think it tasted like sesame a bit, the noodles were tasty and I asked for no veg which they did, happy we tried this place my photos don’t do the food justice 😅

My partner and I have tried many Chineses in stoke and this hits the spot perfectly… my new found favourite is the chicken fried rice with curry sauce…. Would I recommend absolutely! ✌🏽

Cannot rate this place highly enough everything spot on.

Had delivery from here, and the food came very fast. The food was pretty good. I didn't much like the Kung pao chicken, but the salt and pepper chicken and sweet and sour chicken were good (s&p could have used a bit more flavor). Not bad amount of food for the price, would eat here again

Lin Chinese is our go to Chinese, never really had any problems with the food at all (except the removed the honey and spicy chicken from the menu :( ) Do recommend to others. If we have different Chinese locally we always compare to Lin, and it's still our #1

After leaving a negative review I received a call with apologies and good will gesture of free chicken fried rice. Tonight I had them and the chicken fried rice was a full container and the chips were still smaller than normal but were enough for 2 people just about. Chicken fried rice was amazing thank you

I order from here all the time. its my go to place. never once had a bad experience. the food is always top notch... 10/10. Edit... in fact, i do have a complaint... i'm getting fat. because i'm there so much

Will never have From here again. First it came and my rice was like slop, rang and complained they say its my fault as I ordered late in the evening, sent fresh rice but didn't replace the other food so that went cold, second rice came in exactly the same way, slop. If I could give minus star I would.

Not had food from here for a while as theyve changed the menu but thought we had a try . Never again . Had a mixed grill and specified no onions . Cone with loads of onions. Its a good job it wasnt an allergy and just the fact we dont like onions . Cant take simple instructions . Also very expensive for what you get . Wont be ordering from here again

Ordered a meal tonight, I am a regular customer and I was over charged and when I tel back to enquire why I was charged this she said the meals had gone up. She was rude saying they were busy and the menu I had and the online menus prices were wrong, and she was abusive so I told hi to forget it and put phone down. The meal did arrive later I refused it saying I wouldn’t eat it now just in case it had been tampered with. Will not use again.

Been using Lin chinese for more than 5 years it used to be very very good but standards have slipped . The last few takeaway/ deliveries recently have been dissappointing . Delivery used to be quick ( about 20 mins )and the food was hot but now more than an hour and not as warm .. The other main criticism is the very noticeable reduction in portion sizes . one time my wifes sweet and sour was about half the size , no kidding ! And today all 3 meals were significantly smaller . I understand we are going through hard times but dont cheat on portion sizes put your prices up slightly if you have to. . Going to be looking for a new chinese takeaway from now on .

Got our order wrong, thought we would give them another go and they got it wrong again… when we ask for no onions and they put onions in all the food … ruined our evening as we had to go back. Wouldn’t order again going back to the dragon in stoke…

Tiny portion size cold and hardly any meat in the Chow main. Rang to complain and was told the sizes are small because customers have complained the portion sizes where to big? Avoid this takeaway

It came it wasn’t warm one bit it didn’t taste the same as usual. I continued to eat my food as it’s always brilliant so I put it to side as a one off but I left more than I would usual I KNEW SOMETHING WASNT RIGHT. After the food we had a really bad stomach , Me and my partner now have not stopped being sick with food poisoning and can’t keep no liquids down at all a whole 12 hours later ! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE I WONT BE AGAIN. Worst take away I have ever ever had from them.

My daughter ordered a Chinese for her her partner and my son last night, food was not warm on delivering. Since eating her her partner and my son have been constantly throwing up , can’t keep fluids down . FOOD POSIONING ALERT. This is awful that people pay good money for a take away as a treat and have been so poorly with throwing up. This needs reporting to health and safety . Never again will I have a Chinese from there . It does nt even deserve the one star

as good as a Chinese can be.....I've always found Chinese food bland but it's always been consistent on each meal

Sadly one of the poorest Chinese takeaways i have ever eaten. The chow mein was very bland and swimming in grease, salt and pepper ribs were lacking salt and pepper seasoning, soup was sickly sweet. All in all not a pleasant experience most of it went in the bin.

Amazing food and great staff, I ordered food just as it was closing and the guy who answered the phone was very polite and helpful, the food was great, will definitely order again.

Ordered food - combo starter, crispy shredded beef in hoi sin and house special fried rice. 2 stars are purely for the delivery and the prawn toast which were good. The spring rolls were battered and the crispy shredded beef was like eating jellied octupus- soggy and chewy- nothing crispy about it. I emailed within half an hour of delivery (as soon as we ate it) and there has been no acknowledgement. New to the area, and have been put off using this takeaway.

My food didn't turn up after I paid on the card over the phone... 😠😠😠😠 Update . They agreed they delivered it to the wrong address (witch they didn't) and agreed when I fancied it they would re order it for me. I called this evening and they said we're closing in 15 mins and they wouldnt order it out as its a "free meal" first of all no it isn't as I paid for it and didn't receive it and second of all your a business! Sort out your mistakes. I will never deal with them again not so much as an apology

Used to be lovely food but these past few months have been dissappointing. Im not one to complain but the prices are extortionate for what you actually get. We will be looking for a different chinese in future. We only kept coming back in hopes certain items would go back to normal and the issue was just low stock but tonights order was the last straw for us. Cant fault the customer service upon ordering and delivery even tho there has been times items have been missed and had to chase up but the food portion, prices and standards have dwindled from when we 1st started having from here.

I think Lin is suffering from Brexit. Loads of rice hardly any curry. Bucknall China has loads of curry sauce. I won’t be ordering again from here. Large container of rice and a small container of curry sauce and hardly any onions.

Absolutely shocking service from the delivery driver dropped all my food on the floor and when asked what she was going to do about it told me to shove my f***ing tea up my arse. Then tried to run me over as I walked out of my drive ! If I could give 0 stars I would

Really poor quality food. Meat was tiny, dry bits and the chowmein I had was really tasteless. Spring rolls were way too greasy and prawn toast was dry and hard. Won't be using again there are cheaper and significantly better Chinese's locally.

Not my favourite chinese, but definitely a close second! Fried rice, chow mein, crab claws, chips and all sauces are superb!

Waited for over an hour n twenty minutes was told 45 minutes on the phone wouldn't mind if it's a one off but sad to say it's always the same food always arrives unreasonably late and the only apology you get is that they have been busy wouldn't mind but I live less than 10 minute drive from the takeaway order from ere at your peril

Food came extremely messy and food smell horrible that I cannot eat it. Called the take away to complain but they cannot be bothered. Just wasted money for nothing and left hungry.

Very poor. Waited almost two hours for the food for it to come and be cold. Had food missing which took another hour for them to redeliver after an argument about them even sending it out. Food was very tasteless, most went in the bin. Bbq sauce was orange and did not taste like barbecue sauce, will not be ordering from here again. AVOID. Was definitely not worth the considerable amount of money I paid.

This food we had from this Chinese was absolutely disgusting the meat was dead fatty rice tasted off we wanted it dry and it came with sauce on it the vegetables were brown the prawn crackers tasted like it was cooked last week warning to all people do not order from this take out

We purchased food from this establishment last night, 27/7/16 to celebrate my step daughter's birthday, the delivery was prompt, that is the ONLY positive feedback that I can give. My step daughter's boyfriend got up in the early hours, threw up then suffered diarrhoea. Then this morning my husband also suffered the same thing. Needless to say this has spoilt what should have been a happy occasion. We are never having food from this place again. I would recommend that people should look elsewhere for food. This place should be closed down!

I ordered some scallops and got food poisoning instead they use to be good don't know what happen but I Wont be ordering from them ever!!..

Absolutely disgusting food was freezing and order was wrong after arriving 2hrs after order was placed, rang and told i could have more food, why would i want more food at 11:45pm?? Asked for a refund and got told i could only have one if i gave all food back untouched personally to them... when i asked why i got told no reason... bit suspicious really probably would reheat it and serve again, customer service was so bad the whole experience was a waste of time and money never again !!!!!!!!!!

It's been over an hour late on more than one occasion, this time I tried calling them several times but the phone seems to be either disconnected or off completely and the food is now an hour and a half late!! I'm absolutely fuming >:( !!!!!
