Haven’t eaten from Lime Pickle in years due to moving out the area, definitely been converted back as I forgot how good it was! Hands down the best Indian takeaway we’ve had in a long time, service was 10/10 as well. So helpful and accommodating when I was ordering. Chicken tikka balti was so tasty, the added extras went down a treat & with the little notes were a lovely touch. Definitely our new go to from now on. Couldn’t fault anything :)

Being a saturday, I expected a wait for my order, but almost two hours was a bit much... To be fair, when I called them, they were very polite and apologetic, and threw in three freebies as compensation. As usual, I can't fault the food at all. Delicious as always, hot, and big portions. In spite of the long wait, I will definitely be ordering again. Just avoid Saturdays if you can!

Amazing food best curry had for some time

Order from here last night, I spent just under £50. I ordered all different dishes and starters I can confirm all of the dishes tasted like nothing. They were more of a watery flavourless mess. The food temperature was luke warm. After a long wait for the food we were all left feeling very disappointed. I would not recommend this place much better Indian places to try. 100% save your money or try elsewhere.

Took me along time to find a great curry house. The Currys are fantastic. You never have a plate full of ghee. Staff are fantastic and they are always generous and put little freebies in your order.

Food is always spot on. I don't use my local as the food here is excellent and never disappointed. Always something extra in your delivery to try as a thank you. Great service.

By far the best Indian takeaway in the Borough. Earlier orders are better to avoid long wait times, but that just goes to show how popular this takeaway is. Food never disappoints. Staff are lovely, always polite and friendly.

We have used lime and pickle for a while now the only Indian takeaway we will use. The food is delicious never fails to disappoint I would 100% recommend to everyone you won’t be disappointed!

Ordered the set meal for 2. Was so optimistic as the chicken pakora and mixed kebab starter tasted lovely. But I can honestly say the 2 curries. Chicken Curry and Lamb Sagwals were the most tasteless curries I have ever had. No salt no spice. I'm not sure if the owners are tasting their own currys as im sure uf they did they would agree such a shame as the lamb was lovely and tender. For my partner and I to find both curry's to be tastless this tells me it's a problem with the chef and not a one off. Owners please taste the food you are sending out to paying customers

The only place to go for a curry,fast delivery,tastes unreal ,even asked if there was a free item could we have something specific which they did and even did it in a bigger box.Always leave appreciation messages on the food :)

Having recently moved to the area in May 21 we decided to finally try the local takeaway. After searching online we found that Lime Pickle had just won the best takeaway in the West Midlands. For our mains we ordered Mr Alan's Massala it was lovely and rich, if you enjoy a creamy curry then I definitely recommend and a Chicken Balti which had a good balance of spice and flavour. The guy who took our order offered us both a drink while we waited which we thought was a lovely surprise and also gave us a starter with our order. Apart from the extras we throughly enjoyed our meal and can fully understand why this takeaway has won the accolade of best takeaway in the West Midlands. We will definitely return. Thanks

This is our second takeaway/delivery from lime pickle, i cannot rate them highly enough. The speed of the delivery was even quicker than advertised, the food was lovely and warm and it was delicious!! Living in an area with 4 seperate curry houses, we will only use like pickle again going forward. Beautiful food, thank you again.

Service was exceptional, so polite and went above and beyond when I had to wait for a very short time. They gifted us with chocolates and a couple of extras which was incredibly kind. It was my 21st birthday through this lockdown and for a special treat we decided to order a takeaway from Lime and Pickle. when the food arrived they placed an extra curry and rice in for the next day free of charge as well as a box of chocolates, a tube of magnum ice cream and a bag of sweets. It really made my evening especially on a day which is usually spent surrounded by friends and family. I can't talk highly enough of Lime and Pickle; I will be a long and returning customer for sure.

This is our favourite Indian takeaway & only order from here.Up until this weekend we have never had any problems with any food or delivery.This weekend we had to wait 2hrs 15 minutes for our order,we understand that it will have been busy.We ordered two prawn dishes one being a korma but received two of the same one.When hubby phoned they said it was a korma just the colour was different & was making excuses on the phone.It definitely wasn’t a korma.Hubby enjoyed the food.I thought it wasn’t the quality as it normally is & not as hot as it’s always been in the past.This won’t put us off ordering again as it’s the first blip in over two years.But just a little disappointed after the high expectations previously.This is the reason I’ve only given 4 stars & not 5.

So tasty, lovely and garlicky, great bit of spice and huge chicken pieces.King prawn jalfrazi extra coriander - heat bang on, huge prawns, taste, chilli and everything perfect.Chicken tikka balti (mums) - perfect taste, heat, extremely tasty. Huge chicken pieces (lovely)Prawn balti - she was full after the first, so unfortunately no pictures.I like to taste a bit of everything. So I have a bit of each.Side order panner saage... Tasted lovely, extra coriander. Perfect.Rice.. Keema rice full of flavour, loads of onion and keema and upgraded me to a large one for free.Pilau rice.. When I visit my brother we always get a takeaway from here. The staff are so friendly and helpful in explaining what dishes are vegan and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. They even helped me carry the takeout to the car last time. They really go the extra mile. Genuinely decent people who really care.

We ordered food around a week or two ago. It came on time and with plenty of the usual dips etc.Good value for money but i was a little let down by the curry. iv had the same one in the past maybe a different chef cooked it this time. I find that with many takeaways these days its pot luckThis time sadly was a little lacking in taste but maybe because it was a busy Friday . Could do better!!

Lime Pickle for me is the best Indian take away in Brum. Wonderful food and friendly staff, A++ recommended! My partner doesn't like spicy food, and the staff kindly give us a free Naan for them, and a tin of chocolates with personalised messages on it!Can't fault them, and thank them enough :)

What a joke , this is my first and last order of here , was told 1 and half hours , but 3 hours later it’s arrived and it was the worst order we have had , we so miss the Jeera, the onions as half of one in a lump it was that bad am going to report to e h o it was that bad

We’ve been in lockdown for well over a month now and I’d just about had enough of cooking.... after a long day in the garden, decided to order from just eat....: so pleased we picked the lime pickle. Got extra food, poppadoms, bargis and samosas, personal messages on each box, absolutely over the moon. The pathia was a little hotter than expected, but other than that. Me and Becky ordered dinner from here and although the majority of the food was nice it wasn’t as nice as I am sure it would have been if it was hot. The other issue was the lack of the main ingredient in dishes. My prawn Bhuna was missing prawns and the mushroom Bhaji was basically a Luke warm sauce. We did get a few extras however we also didn’t get a naan that we ordered. They did say that they were busy which is making me feel that if they weren’t as busy the food would have been better

What a treat so much food we could hardly get it on the table

Ordered a family meal from lime this evening and I wasn’t disappointed, food came nice and hot before estimated time. The service was spot on from first point of contact to last. The gentleman over the phone was exceptional and friendly. I asked for a few amendments on my order which was handled with ease. My starters was Lamb sk kebab, prawn on puri. My mains was chicken dansak (no chilli) and lamb rogan (no onion) breads Peswari naan and garlic keema naan. The food was delicious and spot on. The gentleman that delivered the food was very professional. A big thank you to the team at lime. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who fancies a traditional Bangladeshi take out.

Was recommending to this place from all the lads at work. I can honestly say now I know what the fuss is about and why they have won awards. I have never received such great service in my life. My wife and kids agreed. The staff were amazing and the food was delicious. Even the 8 year old ate all of it! (She never eats from any takeaway apart from McDonalds) Already ate there 3 times this week. My new favourite!

Never usually use takeaways, but was recommended to try this place in our local pub by a lot of people. So we went down on a Friday, wow busy is an understatement. First impressions - brilliant, clean, welcomed! We ordered and price was very reasonable, staff were very friendly even thought they was extremely busy. Food was delicious, kids even loved it. Can’t wait to go again. We now know why you are so respected in your industry.

Had five takeaways from here, first 3 were very good, last two were disgusting. Lamb Vindaloo was poor, Chicken Madras was horrible and went straight in the bin. Won't be using Lime Pickle again, sorry!

We always order from Lime Pickle and we can’t recommend this place enough!!! The food is always great quality, and full of flavour. We always receive a complimentary starter and the messages on the lids of the takeaway tubs are lovely little touch too!! Well done Lime Pickle :-)
