Nice place, looks like it's been updated recently. Staff were very helpful and food prices were pretty reasonable.

First time I have been and not disappointed at all. Whole experience was excellent from the moment we walked in till the moment we walked out. Great staff, kid friendly & beautiful food. A terrific Sunday lunch.

Visited for first time from Glasgow wife had Lido,s mac n cheese she would highly recommend. My fish chips n peas was delicious, service was great. Will definitely return 10/10 well done Lido Staff 😀

Lovely food, great atmosphere, attentive staff.

We came as walk ins but there was a table available though being the Easter holidays week the restaurant was busy. My companions had been before but the Lido was new to me and very welcoming it was. We ate mostly from the lunchtime £10 menu and were very happy with the food. I enjoyed the mussels in a creamy sauce and chips on the side. My partner had the mussels too but the fish goujons which came with plenty of chips so I could have shared his! Others had pizza and chicken off the lunch menu. Everyone satisfied with the food and atmosphere but some felt the vibrant decor was a bit much. Good efficient pleasant service and no need for dessert. Coffee was nice too.

We went in for an afternoon cuppa and cake, excellent service and decor. Our trip was spoiled by the Troon / Barassie beach carpark. Dog poo catered for but no litter bins and beach access terrible rough grassy bumpy area and chargeable toilets. No wonder people go abroad with basic things catered for.

Very nice and modern since it's all been refurbished. Food is excellent as per buzzworks standard. Very quick service as well. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious - flavoursome and of a large amount!! I'd recommend the piri piri chicken. Staff were friendly, efficient and service was quick. Can't quite put my finger on why I'm not giving 5 stars. It just wasn't as cosy as other places and although staff were efficient they didn't stand out.

Fantastic Christmas Day lunch. Very attentive staff who made us feel very welcome and set the mood for the festivities. Great food and drink too at prices that won't break the bank.

Went for a family meal on Saturday 23rd Dec. The place was jam packed. We were seated straight away and had menus and drinks served within minutes. Great start. Everything we ordered was available and food and drinks were served quickly. The food was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive even though they were really really busy. Top marks Lido

We live nearby so visit Lido a few times a month, so by that measure we are satisfied with the service and quality on offer. We had a family catch up last weekend and I had a chicken dish from the specials (one night only), sadly I can't recall its name, however it was an autumnal dish with stuffed chicken roll, with carnalised veg and whipped potato and gravy – This dish was exceptional, fine dining quality and demonstrated the talent in their kitchen. Although the breakfast menu is great, this frustrated me and the current a la carte menu hasn’t changed since the refurb a couple of years ago and that was only a rehash of the pre covid menu. I appreciate the menu is fairly uniform across the buzzwork location, but I’d love to see a brand-new menu from the New Year. Overall, the restaurant is really great, the front of house management are exceptional; warm, attentive and always make you feel welcome and special regardless of how busy. The servers are always polite and attentive. For staying local Lido is our first choice for family events, quick midweek meal or Sunday Brunch.

Starter was good, burger main course was awful. Cant understand how a chef cannot cook a beef burger. Not good value for money.

Elite. London, Paris, Tokyo, NYC, this is amongst my favourite bars in the world. If you are in Troon or nearby, perhaps flying into Glasgow or Prestwick airport, it is a superb place for dinner or a quick tonic. From the service to the interior vibe, with covered vape smoking (or pop outside for the cigars). Stunning. We would know. Welcome to Scotland. Alain ❤️

somehow the chef managed to replicate jar sauces on 2 occasions! The coconut chicken was identical to a red curry jar I will not name- and the prawn pill pill was actually prawns in sweet chilli sauce with a dash of lime…. On the other hand the staff and decor were lovely and reasonably fast. Lamb meatballs were reasonable.

Lovely evening .Busy Saturday night but did not hamper the attentive seevice from Fiona and Millie. Food was exceptional . Beautiful decor. The only little thing was the poor Americano coffee. We will definitely return..

Received a gift token to visit this famous restaurant in Troon. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. It’s the staff that make the evening special. Must mention the following Susie, Demi, Eve, Elliott, Lucy, Cameron B and Steph. Great people in their own right. All were so friendly and attentive during our visit. They are all great ambassadors for the company. Big shout too for the kitchen brigade for the excellent food. Menu is varied and caters for all tastes. This is a definite location to visit when in the area. Will be back for sure.

My friend and I went for a spot of lunch. We didn’t book but managed to get a table no problem. Atmosphere is lovely and cozy as always. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I’ve been to Lido several times before and food is always pretty good. However, this day I didn’t want a large hot meal so I ordered the sirracha chicken salad wrap with chips which was not great. Only had a few slices of chicken, hardly any sauce and a huge pile of wispy lettuce and cucumber which was pretty bland and dry. Side of the same lettuce with some onion through it and a dip sized bowl of chips. Not worth £8.

Service was excellent, staff super nice and food was really lovely. Also a solid 10/10 for the legend who made my dad a red kola float after they had run out of cream soda, over and above service and very much appreciated x

Having a dog with us we had to sit outside. Troon is a little behind the times being not so dog friendly. Weather was good though. Outside you are near a road with not a lot of atmosphere. Food was tasty. Service was friendly and I'd go again

Decided to visit here on Sunday night through a recommendation. The place and food were absolutely excellent and made for such an enjoyable night. Service was excellent as was the food. Would highly recommend

Ate here on a busy Saturday afternoon. Decor was lovely and the place was very clean. We had tried to book Scott in Troon but it was fully booked so opted for here instead as we had been given Buzzworks vouchers as a wedding gift. Food was very poor, the tempura starter was actually terrible. The batter was was very hard almost broke my teeth. Prawn were very salty and didn’t taste very fresh. Chicken burger was slightly undercooked. The fish and chips were ok. Very expensive for what you get. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Been many times before and has been excelent. But seems to have reinvented itself into a poorer restaurant. Don't think we'll be back. Such a shame. Oh, and nobody asked us if we enjoyed it. No longer recommended.

Visited lido on 3rd Sept with my wife for dinner. I ordered lasagne and was very disappointed it was very runny and hardly any beef . I spoke to the duty manager and he took the price of the bill ( I didn't complain to get the price reduced by the way it was only to tell him of my disappointment). To finish the night of I took an upset stomach so afraid wouldn't recommend or go back

Food was amazing. Staff made you feel really relaxed. Reasonably priced for the quality of the restaurant and food. Staff seem really engaged and seem to enjoy their work.

.I visited Lido with my wife on 3rd September for dinner while visiting troon, I ordered lasagne, I was very disappointed, it was very runny and virtually no beef in it . I did speak to the duty manager and explained my issue and he took the price of the bill (I didn't complain to to get money of the bill by the way it was only to explain my disappointment). To finish it off I had an upset stomach that night so afraid I wouldn't recommend it and won't go back.

Catalan fish stew was a very small serving and the base tasted suspiciously like tomato soup. A few mussels and a small piece of fish. Mentioned serving size to waiter and was ignored One of the chicken dishes we ordered was almost cold. Cannot recommend this establishment unless you like ordinary, tepid food and are on a diet. Also overpriced.

The decor and atmosphere inside are both lovely. Wasn’t too enamoured by the attitude of the staff when we went in, felt it was very transactional. Even at the table service it wasn’t particularly friendly. The food was nice. I had the Tuscan Sausage Pasta and my partner had the Vegetarian Burger. I felt the portion size of my pasta was quite small and it was lukewarm. My partners burger was also lukewarm but both meals tasted nice.

Hi,popped into the Lido as a walk-in and was seated no problem! Service was very good and the food was too! Fish and chips 👍 pil-pil 👍 coconut Chicken 👍 left a good tip as it was deserved!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A great family meal. There was 8 of us and we chose from across the menu inc. starters mains and desserts. Everything was excellent, I had the soup followed by coconut chicken and finished with ice cream. The staff were all great as was the decor and ambience.

Fantastic lunch at Lido. We shared the lamb meatballs and a wood fired Tuscan sausage pizza - they were amazing. Beautiful wine finished it off nicely. This place is a firm favourite on a visit to Troon, the decor is so quirky and the service is 10/10

My Wife ordered the pil pil to start and the roasting lid nearly landed on their lap when the server dropped it lifting it off. The chicken burger was burnt and the chips turned up frozen. It was pointed out they were taken away and never replaced. No apology or acknowledgment when bill arrived. Main course pasta portion tiny. Left feeling hungry. Nice looking place which I would imagine is busy due to a lack of competition in the area so no excuse for the poor service.

Wonderful find! Loved our experience here. Very friendly and welcoming. Food and drinks excellent - had a wonderful Apérol Spritz and the dessert was one of the best I’ve had in a long time! If only we lived closer! Loved the colourful decor too. We sat inside, but there’s a lovely area at the front too if it’s a nice day. And the toilets were spotless. If we ever return to the area, we’ll definitely be back!

Loved their sticky toffee pudding. Have had better hot chocolate. There was something missing in it. All in all, a lovely atmosphere with great staff.

Well what can we say, literally just left here after a fantastic tasty amazing meal. There were 4 of us who all had something different from prawns to chicken to pizza. All absolutely fantastic, fresh produce and great value. The staff especially Craig was fantastic. What a server. Don't want to call Craig a server. He made the experience at Lido Troon exceptional, he is kind, cheery and was attentive to us all. So good we booked again for tomorrow night as the menu choice is extensive. Superb

We had a great evening at the Troon restaurant. Our server Nga was so friendly and attentive. The food was superb and the atmosphere was second to none. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back again soon.
