Been here many times mainly because it is so local. Food is adequate but lacks variety in veggies. Often trays need replenished, tables not cleaned but we forgive as it's handy. Today we booked a table for 5.30pm. Arrived to find carvery queue nearly to the door. Said I had reservations was told short staffed and would need to find a seat in lounge area and wait minimum 20mins. Expressed my opinion that this was no way to run a business and was told if I didn't like it to eat somewhere else. This was by the manager. We enjoyed our meal eventually but at a different venue as we will never be back to this one

Popped in for a spot of lunch, front of house staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent and was served up promptly. Duty manager was great also following up and making sure all my needs were meet... Long story short great food great staff great day out I give it 5 stars

My wife and I were out for a walk as it was a nice night and caked in here for a drink. Great service and a friendly welcome. Barman even offered to bring my Guinness over once it settled.

Nothing was great exactly. Obviously it's mainly a carvery but besides that, the menu is lacking. One option for salad and one option for pasta. No lighter options which they use to have. We had booked a table for 5 but on arrival had to wait for someone to find a table despite booking and he offered us a table for 4, telling us to squeeze in when there was five of us. I'd understand if one of us were a child but 5 fully grown adults. So we were giving a table in the back function room and we were the only ones there and felt a bit "out of the way". My parents both ordered fish and chips. It took over an hour. My dad went to ask after the first 20 mins (we had all been served already and we're nearly done) and apparently there was some issue in the kitchen (that's fine, these things happen) and that their fish were just going on. After another wait 20 mins, he went to enquire again and was told the chef burnt the fish and that they were just remaking it the now. It was third time lucky but I think it's poor that no one came to explain at the table and it took my dad having to go find help before we were told anything. They got a refund but I think they could have avoided alot more unhappiness if they came and told us what was happening. Also the hot drinks were not very hot at all. Even the hot water for the tea was tepid at best. There wasn't much overall for us to feel encouraged about going back unfortunately.

Excellent service from staff can’t fault them

Arrived on a Sunday afternoon well aware this would be their busy time. On arrival we were told "hope you are not wanting food" "no tables" we went for a drink from the bar while we decided where to go for dinner only to realise there were plenty of tables in the restaurant however when we noticed one of the kitchen staff coming into bar throwing his bag about and having a toddler tantrum maybe we had a lucky escape on the food. Place was practically empty when our taxi arrived. Could use a bit better customer service!!

The pizza chef asked my mum if she thought the pizza was ready. It took 40 minutes for the staff to understand the bill. Our desserts were dry and terrible

£5 carvery offer used. Food delicious and chef serving was very pleasant, quick and helpful. As was barmaid. There were peas and napkins under our table on arrival so maybe a wee hoover after lunch would help with cleanliness?

Had xmas dinner here , service not good on arrival no one to show us to table. We had pre ordered starters and had to ask 4 times for them. When they arrived, the soup was cold, and honestly, the worst soup I have tasted. The carvery itself was lovely, then had to ask twice for our desserts. We did get money back for the 2 x soups. I do understand staff shortages, but manners cost nothing.

Booked at very short notice. Had a lovely carvery meal with 6 other family members. Staff were very attentive and made us very welcome.

came for christmas day, expect it to be busy but would also assume the waiters knew it would be busy too. 40 min wait for preordered starters after asking twice. cold and watered down soup. given 1 butter for 3 bowls, no bread and wasn’t given the vegan option we had selected. over 40 min wait to get our mains cleared and desserts brought over. special service for friends of waitresses

food was amazing! staff where excellent especially our waitress, I didn't catch her name but she was pregnant... I would like to mention how lovely she was and couldn't do enough for us, thank you so much!

Something happened between. Her son and herself , quite discreet , my friend that is , also the manager came over, said keep noise down , as a result we left , the girl told us she didn't sleep to 4 am the night before , poor attitude, hungover etc, yes it Xmas though attitude stink , won't b back

Came in as a group, including a wheelchair. Mel was super accommodating and helped do all the orders separate, with no hassles at all. We also had a vegetarian in the group, and the staff and kitchen staff couldn't have done enough to make sure he ate well. Nothing was too much an ask. Portion sizes are great, we will be back!

Went here for a carvery and it was lovely, the food I had was very tasty and was also a good price for them, would highly recommend this place for something to eat and drink, they have a great selection to choose from there menus, the staff are very friendly and the venue has plenty of seating and tables.

Came in with 4 people and 2 dogs on a Sunday night. Very accommodating to fit us in on short notice and made sure that us and the dogs were welcomed. Came up on several occasions to make sure the dogs had water and everything we needed 👌

I went to Levan valley experience not good. Service at bar staff just couldn't be less bothered attitude poor. I ordered combo two capachino. Coca cola. Cheese burger. Capachinos cold £3.15 small bottle Coco cola Staff forgot order cheese burger had to wait even longer to get this over £8 not worth it. Bad experience won't be back

Lovely wee pub. Carvery dinner was superb. Went for Christmas event. Meat was beautifully prepared and there was ample sides to accompany it. Servings were generous and prices amazing. Fully intend to return. Great stuff.

Friends took us here and we had a great time. We got the carvery special which means we got to choose three things of meat: ham, beef, turkey. I went for the trifecta and it was all good BUT the turkey was super dry. Not anyone’s fault but it was under heat a while and I got the last piece before they swapped it out. Other than that the veggies and the gravy was on point. I liked how it fit the huge group we had with no issues. We did guys on one side and girls on another table. My wife and I ordered just on own phone and the server was a bit irritated she had to drop off the drinks at two different tables which was odd as she served everyone else at both anyways. Other than that the park bit looked fun but we didn’t get to try it out to my daughter’s dismay due to snow still pulled up. Maybe next time 😁

Easily the absolute WORST carvery I'v ever had.TERRIBLE !!!! Food arrived in a box carried on its side. Looked like it had just been thrown in. Food was cold, Turkey was dry and inedible. Went in the bin, This was suppose to be the LARGE BTW. Asked for roasties. Got 2. That was it. 2. Also got 2 brussels sprouts. That was all the veg that was included. 2 sorry sprouts. You seriously trying to tell me the only veg available was brussels sprouts? Id hate to see what the small looked like. 1 potato 1 sprout perhaps. Theres not a scenario I can possibly imagine that I would EVER order from here again. How anyone would go here and how this place is still a business blows my mind

Received two large carveries via delivery. What I received had items missing, the rest was inedible, one roast potato, a few peas, a few carrots, stale Yorkshire pudding and everything stone cold! A dismal standard of food! Utterly embarrassing sending this to a customer! To top it all, the aggressive, intolerant attitude of the female who took my complaint left me aghast at the shocking standard of customer service! A family member had to drive to the restaurant to collect two replacements. Not the first issue I have had with this restaurant but it certainly will be the last! Food - fail! Customer service - fail! "Trained staff" - fail! "Management" - fail!

The worst experience visiting a restaurant we have ever had. We booked in advance for eight people for a birthday carvery at 6.30 and when we arrived we were told only turkey and pork was available. We were told to find our own table even although we had booked. The only table available was dirty and unmade. The floor was covered in food. When we then went to order our carverys we were told the carvery was now closed, even although they were still selling carvery meals when we arrived. We were told there was now only limited food available from rhe rest of the menu including literally four fishes left. This was for a birthday meal for eight people. We were very disappointed. We had to leave and did not even receive an apology when we left. We went to a restaurant down the road called The Titan which was very accommodating and better value for money. This is not the first time we have been let down by this place and will not be going back

Great place for a buffet breakfast that is second to none, light bights are also spot on, cant comment on Carvery cause I've never tried it. The thing that has stuck out most though has been the atmosphere and the staff! They are always keeping you informed, smiling and having banter with the locals, you can tell that its a great mix between the locals and staff and I will continue to look forward to visiting whenever I get the chance!

went in for a meeting review with one of our fav clients stevie, and i have to say the breakfast was great and the staff amazing especially Jackie, Collette and Dave in the kitchen, all fantastic people. real family vibe

Can’t thank the manager Jackie enough for being so accommodating to my wife. She took the time to assist her with her food issues. This is not something we are used to and in most places can cause my wife anxiety. Can’t thank you enough, we both had a lovely breakfast - David.

Went here on 3/11/23 had a meal which was lovely but when i went to the bar i was refused a drink as i was told i was slurring my words and the way i was walking i was so embarrassed i just walked away from the bar A member of our party went and complained and the manager asked to see me i informed him that i had broken my leg and was walking slowly as i was scared i would fall and that i have a speech impediment. He apologised and was satisfied that i was not drunk and told the staff member to serve me but my night was already ruined due to being embarrassed in front of other customers. I will never go back to this place.

Gemma was the main server for us. She was great, making sure everything was good for us and when we went for desserts the kitchen was closed but she stepped in and made our desserts for us. She was amazing.

I am so disappointed in this place i am a disabled person and i walk very slowly as well as having a speech impediment and i was refused a drink at the bar as the girl stated i was drunk i was so embarrassed that i walked away then a family member went and told them about my disability the manager spoke to me and said i could be served as he was satisfied i wasnt drunk i was livid even after an apology it did not make a difference as it had ruined my night especially when they were told that someone with a disability was coming. I will never come back to this place and would not recommend that anyone else do so either

Burger called mac cheese is great.cheesecake lovely but a wee bit dear for what you get .definitely be back.back today get breakfast again sausage is great. Lovely staff. Dog friendly bar area is great and "aunty Mel" will ensure your pup is cared for and gets plenty of tasty treats! Good beer and drinks selection. All in a nice environment with a welcoming feel 😁

Lovely family lunch with very friendly service. Food was fresh and delicious especially the freshly made pizzas.

Ordered on the app, server bought drinks and carvery tickets to the table….went up to the carvery to be faced with a small end piece of beef, no turkey, no ham and no pork as advertised, no yorkshire puddings, veg was dry, potatoes hard, staff were not bothered and very in professional. The meat was apparently another 3/4 hr wait…. Shocking service, should have got a refund….oh and plates and cutlery were dirty… definitely one to avoid…

26th September, I meet with. Mel, (waitress) we discussed my dad's funeral meal for family and friends, such an upsetting time for us, Mel, went ubove and beyond to help me arrange everything we wanted, truly a credit to this company, her advice and suggestions were absolutely brilliant for us as we were not really in the right frame of mind, once again Thank you for everything.

Was at leven Valley Great Western retail Park on Sunday and was left standing about 10 -15mins as server started making up home deliveries there was another person in front of me I complained at the time and was told that they had to do orders first. My husband had finished is pizza before I got back to table. We would have liked to have eaten together and is was very angry at waiting for so long.I spock Jackie purvy and was told that it is company policy to make up delivery's and they were busy. Myself and 1 other person were at the time were the only people waiting. Manager after chat stood up and left me without taking details from me I want an apology and proper reason for waiting if they were so short staffed and busy they should inform us when placing order as for myself i will not be back. I've worked in catering for 30yrs and I've never had such a bad experience

This place is a shambles. Had to wait half an hour for carvery meat to be cooked, the roast potatoes were rock soild, there was not a big selection of veg, they ran out of gravy and yorkshire puddings. Would avoid if looking for a good carvery as this was poor.

Disappointed. Limited carvery so 3 opted for main menu took a while to get to us. Noted one of meal sitting for at least 5-10mins before other 2 meals ready. 2 had chosen carvery and were finished before the rest had their meals. Fries were lukewarm, chicken was not easy to cut. DESERT. profiteroles in sundae were hard..had to use a knife to cut!

We had a groupon voucher to use and as my partner took it to the till the woman serving said “she hates these groupon vouchers and hates putting them through”. Not professional is it. Didnt get any cutlery and had to ask for it which we got an apology for. Starters of salt n chilli mushrooms and poppin chicken were good. My partner also got the carvery and they had no gravy left. Seriously? Lol they made some up and brought it out 10 mins later when the food was cold. I got a burger that was ok.

Had the breakfast and it was lovely, esp the herb link sausages, delish. Food was not over cooked, as i wouldnt expect that from a chef, scott, known to be at cameron house in the past, so creme de la creme cooking is a bonus, esp in glasgow, and here at level valley for a fraction of the cost. I definetly attend regularly just for the breakfast at only, 5.99, and 6.49 weekends. All can eat till 1130am the during week, #love the place.

Hadn’t been here for quite sometime as the last visit wasn’t the best. So glad I decided to give it another try! The staff were so friendly and having given the carvery another try, I’m so glad I did. The food was hot, tasty and evidently fresh. We will be back again soon. Thankyou Alex, Morgan and Ryan😊

Leven Valley facilitated a big party group in there back room. They were short staffed but this didn't impact on their service, they went above and beyond for us and we really appreciated it. They chef and server's made sure we had everything and worked as hard and and fast as they could to deliver over 50 meals. We always enjoy the food at this restaurant and it's a favourite for big family get-together using their big room at the back.

Up there with one of the worst experiences i’ve had at a pub/diner!! Went for a meal and phoned ahead to book and inform them we had a dog, which all went smoothly. On arrival, we walked up to the bar and stated we had a booking to which we were met with confusion, then a quiet discussion among staff, before pointed in a direction and being told “it’s that one there, just push the tables together” and the staff member in question walking away. We made our way over to our table and then had to walk about looking for menues as there wasn’t any on the tables and no one brought them or told us were to get them. We had a look through and eventually ordered food. Now, It’s important to note there was a rowdy table sat near to us, full of adults who were enjoying many drinks. As we are waiting on our food someone appears from outside and sits with said table, accompanied by a dog who is not on a leash. The staff seemed fine by this and even sat greeting the dog as it ran around, it was apparent they knew the dog well. I think any establishment that allows dogs should have a rule that does not permit dogs to be off leads in the premises, as dogs temperaments can change in a second. Not to mention it isn’t a nice experiance, sitting trying to enjoy a meal, and having to shoo off another dog, as it’s frightening yours. Had said dog been on a lead this wouldn’t have happened. We received our food and it tasted okay. Typical pub grub. Not to any majorly high standard but if you’re going to a pub/diner you don’t expect much. During our meal, not once did a member of staff ask if anything was alright, or if we needed anything. We were however greeted at our table by a very drunk lady from the earlier mentioned table, asking if we had “brought our dog”. When asked what she meant, she then said she “remebered us calling to book this morning, and we said we were bringing a dog, so where is he?”. Please remeber this is IN THE MIDDLE OF US EATING. We responded politely and showed her the dog and she returned to her seat. It then became apparent to us that the people sat at the table, were also staff, because how else would she know what we booked that morning? and they weren’t staff, i further beg to question why they kept taking themselves behind the bar, and doing as they please, which the very few staff on duty didn’t seem to have an issue with. Overall it just seemed very unprofessional, and unorganised. Gave off more of a “your local for people looking for a piss up after work” rather than a “family friendly pub diner experience” which is a shame, as we have been here many times before in past years and it was great. So sad to see what was such a nice place before i’m such a mediocre state.

Still sitting in this restaurant/bar…. And actually can’t believe the difference… from the last time I was here! The lovely manager, Jacqui… was so attentive to the needs of her customers… and staff… even if the food hadn’t been as good as it was… I would probably still have come back!! But to the food… the carvery was absolutely amazing! One of the best roast beef’s I have been served!! The lovely young chef, Ryan, was chatty and attentive to the service!!! I will definitely return. Memo: Can’t believe they serve ‘All you can eat breakfast’ on a Saturday & Sunday till 11. 30 for only £6.49!!!!!! Memo to self! Need to try!

Amy was grand. Sharing platter was more than bargained for and carvery had great selection with tender meats. Cosy comfy atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back :)
