Levant Kitchen & Bar in Wrexham

First time here while visiting Wrexham & so glad we booked.the food was amazing, burgers nice and juice, hanging kebabs amazing & highly recommend the lemon tart.excellent service, waiting staff really helpful & friendly.so impressed I've booked again for our next visit to the area in just over a week's time.

We had high hopes of this expensive restaurant and it was OK, but I hope it can improve. The staff are friendly, but the inside is very dated and needs a good clean. The food was ok

Had the perfect evening tonight at Levant. Every measure was in place to make it Covid safe without spoiling the atmosphere there. The food was fabulous and we didn’t have to wait long even though the restaurant was busy. Hannah and her team are doing a great job. Thanks for a lovely night !!

Went here for a date night and the staff were lovely. So attentive and one waitress in particular helped us with choosing our drinks. The burger was “phenomenal” in my boyfriends words and the Mac and cheese was delicious. Food came out quickly with no problems at all. Very well priced for the quality and quantity of everything

We just had the most perfect meal delivered for our special COVID wedding today. Thank you so much the steaks were excellent and cooked exactly as we asked !!! X

Ordered a delivery from Levant following a recommendation from a friend. It arrived on time and was all absolutely delicious - chicken shish, Levant burger and halloumi bites. Made a lovely change from usual takeaways, great quality ingredients and all very fresh. Maybe first time but definitely not the last.

Absolutely amazing! The food arrived quickly, was piping hot and most importantly tasted SO fresh. We had the hanging kebabs, side of prawn lollipops and the tastiest sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever eaten. Looking forward to when the lockdown is over and we can dine in with you (+ sample a few cocktails)..Thank you!

I won't beat about the Bush. We go out for meals regularly but not eaten out since March last year. Wife staff nurse. Myself heart transplanttee. RIGHT.... I JUST HAD THE NICEST MIXED GRILL EVER. WIFE HAD THE LEVANT BURGER. we will defo be eating here in the future. If carlberg did restaurants this is the place to try. 12/10

Great takeaway at an exceptional price. The food was delivered in full in 25 mins it was quality and more importantly it’s was hot.

Visited at lunchtime, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Covid-19 rules were followed. We both had wraps which were gorgeous and the were lovely and crispy. The food took awhile to arrive,that was ok for us because we were both off , but if you were in your lunch break you may have struggled

We visited the Levante kitchen for the first time on a monday night,food and service was excellent and the restaurant takes its covid 19 rules very serious as they should do,For food we had the Levante burger and chicken kebab which was very tasty,prices a little expensive over £28 for two meals considering they only give you a very small portion of chips.Want come back but only on a money off voucher.

Good food and great service. This restaurant is no longer an afterthought of somewhere to go and it’s easily on a par with its competition. Happy to recommend and support especially in the current climate - its open plan and tables are well spaced. This can impact the atmosphere if the restaurant is quiet but it’s getting busier every time we go.

The whole experience, from when you step through the door is friendly along with efficiency. The staff are friendly and willing to give recommendations from the menu when asked and it just helped to create a relaxed atmosphere for a lunch time meal.We have visited Levant a number of times for both lunch and dinner and we always leave having a relaxed and enjoyable time, along with great food.

Would thoroughly recommend the food and service was excellent. Lamb and chicken was cooked to perfection. Chips are adorable. Covid rules adhered to, service excellent. I could not fault anything.

Visited here a good year or so ago and had a delicious meal (salmon supreme) and a zombie cocktail. I remember enjoying every mouthful and have always wanted to go back but worried it would be a disappointment the next time. I was wrong! Just visited again this week with my family - ordering hanging kebab, steaks and again the salmon - it was as good as I remembered! My only complaint would be to serve an extra couple of potatoes with the salmon. Excellent food, drinks and service! Clean and open restaurant so felt safe with the crappy Covid.I am so glad Wrexham has this lovely restaurant.

Visited last night for my wedding anniversary with my daughter and her partner. When the main course arrived one of our meals was cold. We pointed this out to a member of the team who apologised and said that a replacement meal would be out in 5 mins. The meal came sure enough but was again cold and the accompanying garlic bread was the original serving☹️. The team member said that he would get a member of the management team to come to speak to us but then returned and said that they were too busy and that the price of this meal would be deducted from the bill. This was not the result we wanted - all issues are not solved by reducing the final bill. It would have been good to speak to a member of the management team and share our feedback. Customer service is as important as the quality of the food!!!

The Levant is in a modern, brick, uninspiring building - but don't let that put you off! The restaurant is upstairs and is great - open and airy but with booths for seculsion as well. The food is excellent ; generous portions, very tasty, the hanging kebabs are a wonder to behold, and the menu has several vegetarian and vegan options. The staff when we were there we mostly young, and very attentive and polite.There was a good age range of customers too, from 20 somethings to 60 somethings and a lovely atmosphere. In these strange times of Covid, strict protocols were followed. You need to book for the weekend; you may be lucky at other times.We will definitely go back. Thanks to the Levant for a lovely evening.

What a lovely surprise this restaurant was, went with friends for a celebration and we had a wonderful time. Social distancing was first rate, staff were very friendly and polite, food choice was very good and all reasonably priced.we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.

Having not heard of this restaurant I was a little unsure what to expect however they did not disapoint, great choice of food and drink, the cocktails were to die for and much appreciated. We all chose the hanging kebab and it was absolutely lovely.The service was great and felt very safe at all times with the measures put in place.

None descript building form outside; but up tyhe sdtairs is a nicely decorated large restaurant witgh a good menu choice and really friendly helpful staff.

We like to go to Levant and have the bar snacks they are great with a bottle of wine. Love the lamb steaks as well.

The food was very good, with many options for meat eaters as well as plant-based and fish courses. As for cocktails, they need to go easy on ice - if you remove mountains of icy rocks, you'll be left with not much liquid, for the price ... Perhaps, hanging kebab could've done with a couple of extra pieces of meat. However, the service was great, very welcoming.

Had an amazing evening at Levant tonight. Felt very safe there under current climate as temperatures were taken along with contact details. All staff were in face covering and there was a one way system to ensure distance was maintained. It had really been thought about to make the customer feel safe. The staff as always were lovely and the food just perfect. If you are unsure about going out out as I was I’d highly recommend going here. A lovely safe environment with delicious food. Thank you x

We were a party of 6 excitable middle-aged women who hadn’t seen one another since before lockdown. Upon entering, our temperatures were taken and the one-way system was explained. There was a great atmosphere and even though it was busy, the tables had a safe amount of space between them. The food was amazing ( I had the scallops which were perfectly cooked and the chicken hanging kebab which I can never resist ). The service was exceptional: our waiter was efficient, friendly and accommodating. We were made to feel so welcomed and comfortable that we ended up staying until closing time and can’t wait to return. I would highly recommend Levant.

Visited today following the end of Karen's shielding. On reception staff took our contact details and even took our temperature. We were shown to our table and asked for our drink order. The food we ordered was very well presented and arrived promptly. We had ordered wraps and sea bass. Great meal full of flavour. Compliments to the chef and we will certainly be back. Top notch.

Was advised on two restaurants to eat in in Wrexham couldn’t get in first choice friendly staff gave us a table for two even tho we hadn’t booked Fabulous food service and cocktails And reasonably priced Don’t be put off by the outside

Went today as its the 50% eat out to help. Food was amazing! My wife had squid to start then the risotto light bite. I had the shish kebab. All delicious couldn’t fault it. Staff were fab and the place is covid aware and safety measures put in place. Hightly recommend! Also i ummed and arred about the kebab because they look hugh, deffo generous portions but not as big as you think as it also has pepper onions and courgette on so go for it!

I ordered a takeaway meal for two to be delivered.The delivery arrived on time and the meal was delicious as good as I have had when I have visited the restaurant.Well done Hannah and the rest of the team you are doing an excellent job at a difficult time.

We visited in December on quiet evening. My Husband and I had just finished work and decided to pop in and visit this lovely little gem in Wrexham town centre. We had heard great things about the food and cocktail choice. We had a warm welcome and were recommended some cocktails to try. We were not disappointed. The drinks were good value and presented beautifully. We will definitely book sometime for a meal with friends now we have found Levant!

Second time ordering a takeaway from Levant- driver followed all the social distancing guidelines, and food arrived hot and fresh. A really delicious treat- will definitely order again soon!

As there was a happy 'hour' [50% off] on we treated ourselves - I had an 'El Diablo' with all sorts of strange things in it - It was OK, would not personally have it again, [a little too sweet & lacking any distinctive flavour.] My wife & I both had the same, scallops to start - these were really lovely & of a decent size portion [better than we normally get near home.]Then we had the lamb which was again very nicely cooked [pink but they did check on ordering] & presented with lots of different veg and a rich tasty sauce.We did not have a desert. The young waiter did not know much about the wines but service was quite attentive - we had been mentioning to each other that the music was a bit loud & he must have heard or seen us looking at the speaker & asked if he should turn it down. We would certainly return if staying in the area again.

Two of us went there for dinner. WOW! What a treat! Having eaten in many fine restaurants in London, Levant compares well. The scallops were very fresh and excellently prepared, three plump delights.. The Welsh lamb rump was beautiful, with fresh well cooked vegetables and fancy touches too, and a good red wine gravy to boot. Service was nice and responsive, wine list and cocktails were both fine. The young waiter even adjusted the music volume for us. Thank you for a great evening....

Went tonight for tea with friends. Staff as always very friendly and food was amazing ! Well worth a visit and there are plenty of choices on the menu. Coffee was probably one of the best we’ve had. Next time going back on a Saturday so we can try the cocktails

My husband friend and I went to Levant a couple of weeks ago and I enjoyed it so much I took my vegan daughter back there yesterday we both had a lovely welcome and ordered a vegan burger and chips the burger was on a delicious bin with tomatoe and mushroom the chips are to die for like mum used to make when I was a child the staff are so attentive we were made to feel really special highly recommend this place

There was 6 of us{4 Adult & 2 8year old Grandsons having Dinner at approx 14:30pm on this Boxing Day. The service at Levant was outstanding and the Food was beautiful. We can't recommend the Levant enough, it the best restaurant for miles.

A group of 20 of us went on Saturday 4th January for a leaving get together. I cant praise the management and staff enough. We didn't have time to pre order our food so we where told there might be a little wait while it all got sorted, not a problem for us as it gave us more time for drinks and catch up.

Walked past this place so many times and never gave it a second thought. Had good reviews so thought would give it a go. What a gem this place is. The staff are great and the food was surprisingly tasty and filling....

Had dinner with some family members for the first time at this restaurant- was unsure at first but was very pleasantly surprised by the range of food, drinks and dessert options; not to mention the extensive cocktail menu available too. Can highly recommended a June Bug, Painkiller and Mai Tai cocktails.

First visit the other evening, good menu, reasonable prices, very friendly staff.The one thing they need to improve on is the decor which is a very insipid green resembling a 1950s hospital corridor , it doesnt do anything for the atmosphere !

The bar staff were excellent, Anthony and Owen did an amazing job of welcoming us and looking often our party. Would highly recommend this place, polite and well manored staff who go above and beyond for the customer

My friend Carole & I both had a enjoyable lunch. We ate Florentine fish cake with salsa sauce & sweet potato chips. Nice bottle of wine to wash down. The ambience was nice & relaxing. Staff very helpful & pleasant. Be nice place to meet up for cocktails & a meal in the evening. Small seating area outside for the summer.

I visited today with a friend, my second time visiting and my friends first, we were both very impressed with quiet literally everything! The staff were attentive, the atmosphere, the music choices, the food was excellent and great value on a special menu, starter main and drink for £10, would definitely recommend anyone go here! We have had several good meals at levant. Previous the steak and hanging kebabs. This time we both had burgers. I had the levant burger and my partner the Cajun chicken burger. The skin on fries and the salad dressing were great but the quality of the burgers and buns were exceptional. As always great cocktails.

Booked for tea with friends. We all had different meals and they were all lovely. Great staff especially Anthony who served us. Would definitely recommend a visit and the menu seems to cater for everyone. Already booked again.

We went as a party of four. we could not get in to IJAZZ as they had a party of over 80 booked in. we decided to try levant. we were not disappointed. this will be our first choice for a meal out from now on. Enjoyed a lovely lunch here today. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly waiter who made my youngest daughter a delicious milkshake, served in a large cocktail glass with fresh strawberries! She loved it. Food was great value, tasty and excellent quality. The homemade chips were the best we have tasted. Looking forward to returning soon. Great venue, great staff and great food!!

We came here a few months ago and loved the decor inside. It's exciting when Wrexham gets a new food place and I had been waiting for ages to come and try it. We had the meat sharing platter which was lovely and had hanging kebabs. The chips are AMAZING. Only downside - the kebabs need more pita! One pita is not enough for all the meat that you get. Will definitely be back.

Visited as a group of 10 old class mates! Great service, abd did not feel as we were being rushed! Everyones food was lovely, mix of steaks and kebabs! Everyone cleared their plates! Some had desert and we were amazed at the size of the cheese board!! Would definitely come back! Thanks!

The front of the building doesn’t scream ‘welcome! Come on in!’ - I thought for a minute that it might be shut but no, open it was. Once we were up the stairs and in the restaurant the staff were very friendly and welcoming, service was speedy and the food was nice if a little over- generous with the olive oil. We had a table in one of the side booths which was quite dark - low lighting and dark wood combined don’t always work but lighting aside, it was a nice experience and I’d go back.

We tried this restaurant months ago and now we go often. Excellent home cooked food to a very high standard. Decent staff and have never been disappointed. Would be more suited to the Chester scene but I’m glad it is local to me. Much better than than the fat boar or equivalent.They do an excellent roast on a Sunday to!

Visited with my mum for a meal after being told there was an hour and a half wait at the Fat Boar. Very glad we ended up here as we had a delicious meal! We both had the chicken shish hanging kebabs and they were delicious and great portion sizes. Also had a couple of the cocktails which were excellent quality and 2 for £10 makes them great value too. The service was also excellent and the lady who served us was very friendly and attentive. All in all, it was a lovely meal and I would definitely recommend a visit.

My daughter booked a table for 3 for my birthday. Never visited before and was interested to try it out. From outside it doesn't look anything special but inside it was very warm and welcoming. Chose a window table although the view is not great it's nice to have plenty of natural light. Staff very friendly and polite. I chose hummus and pitta bread to start which was lovely, my husband opted for the bruschetta was he said was delicious. My daughter ordered the burger with cheese, I had the chicken hanging kebab and my husband the Levant burger. All meals came with skin on fries (more like wedges, but still tasty). No desserts but I had a Baileys coffee.

Really lovely place. Upstairs but there is a lift if you need help. The bruschetta was the best I've ever had - really packed with tomatoes onion basil and cheese. I had originally chosen courgette spaghetti but it looked like chunky soup and one taste told me it was way too fiery for my palette. Without any bother I was given a choice of somethingvrlse and I chose the hanging chicken kebab. Staff came to tell me it was almost ready which I thought was a lovely touch. Good choice it was totally delicious. Several had fish and chips and they all seemed impressed. Definitely worth trying. The only negative was the beautifully decorated toilets weren't particularly clean. For 2/3 of us at least it was a little off putting. Hopefully it was just a one off. I hold my hand up that we should have told the manager and I know he would have dealt with it. The staff do seem to be on the ball.

What a fantastic hidden gem in Wrexham. We have been here twice now within a fortnight. Had wraps for lunch on our first visit and have just eaten the best Sunday roast ever, (apart from my Mums ). Staff are friendly and attentive, checking everything is OK. Great menu choice and selection of both soft and alcoholic drinks. Definitely be back soon. A must for anyone wanting either a bite to eat, full meal or just a drink at the bar.

Fantastic food full of flavour and plenty on plate. Good atmosphere nice decor. Service let it down, waiters not very friendly, no one asked if everything was ok or thank you for coming see you again. Left feeling a bit fed up.

Wrexham has, for a long time, cried out for a restaurant with a touch of class.

This is a popular restaurant with large two rooms upstairs. As you approach the front door you'll be greeted by a bouncer, for some reason. The restaurant was full when we arrived, very noisy, with large parties going on and other large groups of diners. Our waiter had to shout to us asking if we're ready to order to cut through all the noise, and equally we shouted back our order to him! The shared fish platter as a starter was OK, it could've been elevated by garlic aioli dip instead of smears of sour cream on the slate slab for fried squid rings etc. The hanging lamb kebab was alright, a bit pricey for what you get really. The burger was very dry and dense. I can see why this place is popular - they have 2 for £10 on selected cocktails. Again, tons of ice in one and not much liquid for a medium tall cocktail. In another cocktail I couldn't taste anything but mango nectar juice that was very thick and very sweet. Espresso martini was nice but all in all, its overpriced, more suited for the parties of drinkers who buy and perhaps share that hanging kebab between them for munchies, and to soak up the drinks.

My wife, step son and I went for a meal Monday 10th June to celebrate my step son completing his GCSE’s. It is a fabulous place with great staff and the food is excellent. I had the levant burger which was gorgeous and the others had the king prawn hanging kebab. The starters and mains were equally as good. Can’t wait to return as my wife and I have booked a table of 10 for Saturday night. It is our favourite place with a relaxed atmosphere also great drinks. All the staff are lovely and friendly. We aren’t overloaded with brilliant places in Wrexham town to eat and drink but levant is a gem.

Absolutely amazing meal and such value for money. We had hanging kebabs and cocktails and the portion sizes were really generous and cocktails were 2 for £10. If you're going out for a nice meal in Wrexham, this blows Fat Boar out of the water in my opinion!

We were having a working lunch and it was a very good meal. The only downside was that my vegan burger fell apart. Presentation and service were all good as is the spacious ambiance.

Went here for an evening meal with my partner as we had been meaning to go for a while. It was a Wednesday evening and was very quiet in there only a couple more tables of guests. I had the chicken hanging kebab and my partner had lamb dinner. The service was quick and the staff polite and helpful. The food was very nice indeed. Literally the only fault I had is that they used plastic straws in the drinks and gave us more when we had fresh drinks. (I have a thing about trying to reduce plastic at the moment but was not quick enough to think about this prior) I do think they should stop using straws personally but that goes for many other businesses too. Otherwise fantastic.

We had a lovely afternoon here as a family celebrating our friend’s 50th. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating and even supplied us with leftover balloons! The food was really good, I had the Cajun chicken wrap which was lovely and chips, (best chips in Wrexham!) my partner’s chicken kebab was amazing. They also brought out our birthday cake with plates etc with no fuss. Thoroughly recommend. Well needed in the town.

Our second time visiting and once again a fantastic night from start to finish. Our lovely server Owen ensured we had everything we needed and kept our drinks topped up. Delicious food with no faults whatsoever - my falafel and halloumi burger was DIVINE will be back to this vibrant yet classy place again

Had a great night on 12th April celebrating with 30 colleagues. The food was enjoyed by all as were the cocktails, all the staff were helpful and pleasant even though it was very busy everything was as ordered and generous portions as well. Thank you to Hannah and Sian for your help nothing was too much trouble. The advantage of a separate dinning room which can accommodate a large party has been something greatly lacking in the town centre. I will certainly recommend Levant for its varied menu, cocktails and quality of food .

Uneatable meal, pork belly that was thinner than pork steak sandwich meat, medium steak that was very well done, onion rings that had more greasy batter than edible onion, Greasy pitta bread which we could not eat. Chocolate fondant rock solid

My wife and I have made this place ‘our local’ as it is around the corner from her business. It is done out really well and has plenty of seating for food. We often sit on stools by the bar for a quick drink, although we get comfortable and have been known to leave the car and get a taxi, as we enjoy the atmosphere! The staff are friendly, smart and efficient. The people in a restaurant make it and they have got it spot on as they are all great. There is a great menu and the quality of food is excellent as are the drinks. I’m into my real ale which they have by bottle but not on pump. However the lagers are of premium standard so doesn’t become an issue for me. I highly recommend the hanging kebabs if you’re going to eat. There aren’t too many top quality places in Wrexham town centre to eat and drink so Levant is a very welcome addition that deserves huge success. Well worth a visit.

Had great night on 16th march .food looked lovely what everyone had we only had cocktails .well worth a visit and a thankyou to the staff they neva stopped all night .will be coming back for my sisters birthday in june with the family .

Good to have a decent Restaurant in Wrexham. Lovely welcome, staff super and the food top class. We shall be back. Like the idea of menu being split between East and West.

Wife and I went on Friday evening at 16.30 and we were the only ones in. Two tables were set for what looked like a hen party and birthday party

Lovely place. Me and my partner been trying to go since it open and I'm very happy that we finally found the time. Lovely food, lovely staff,the cocktails are 5 stars. Beautiful decor and nice chilled atmosphere.5 stars.

Booked for my daughters 21st birthday. All I can say is WOW.food was outstanding and staff were amazing. Will definitely book again.

Thought the food was amazing, we had really great service from a young girl (few weeks ago now) Love the theme and the menu.

Visited with friends on a weekend so very busy which maybe was the reason why it did not live upto recommendations. Our experience may be a one off and we were just unlucky. We ordered 3 lots of nibbles to share as starter but our main meal arrived before the nibbles. 3 of our party had the hanging skewers and 2 had lamb which had some griddle and 1 had beef with one piece being to tough to cut. The best meal was the burger, delicious. Chips and accompaniments are good. We ordered desserts with one being sent back as we could not (2 of us tried) to get a spoon in the tart but was unable to. We spoke with the waitress who tried herself and commented she saw what we meant and returned it to the kitchen. They did offer another tart but we declined. One of our party had been 3 times (2 lunch times) before and had a good expeirence with other dishes, so as I say maybe we were unlucky. really nicely done out inside.

We went to Levant on Valentines Night, we chose from their Valentine menus and the food was fantastic, the Staff were Very good especially Corey, who looked after Jan & myself all evening. The cost of the meal included a bottle of Presecco and afterwards Corey recommended the House Cocktails which was beautiful. We would recommend the Levant to anyone. This must be the best restaurant in Wrexham.

Third time here and every visit is as good as the last!!!!Such a wonderful addition to Wrexham, gorgeous food, tempting cocktails and lovely staff!!Today's treat...rump steak and stilton with rocket, absolutely delicious!!!Steak and mussels evening was wonderful and the hanging kebabs - superb!!!Give it a try, you won't regret it :0)

Have been a few times for lunch which was lovely and great value but visited for an evening meal this weekend and we were certainly not disappointed.

Staff are very attentive and food was to die for, will be booking again very soon, thank you for having us.

Visited levant for the 2nd time and loved it. We ordered the chicken hanging shish and it was very tasty. We will definitely be back. The service was friendly and welcoming.

Very disappointed with my meal. Chose the Sea Bass which wasn’t much bigger than a starter. Small fillet of Bass with 3 new pots a few olives, tomatoes and a cold quartered boiled egg??
