This is the best Chinese takeaway that we have ever had. The food is always hot and the delivery drivers are always polite and courteous. The staff are always accommodating when it comes to different requests or questions and so polite. Will recommend to anyone and everyone.

Not had a Chinese takeaway from here for about a year. What have I been missing? Absolutely delicious and piping hot. Will definitely not be leaving it so long this time for my next order.

The best Chinese food in Staines! Lovely fresh tasting food its a take away thats super bust on a Friday and Saturday night.

To start the chicken satay had an unpleasant batter on and the sauce had raw onion. The crispy duck plum sauce was like sugar syrup with no flavour . The chicken curry had too much small chopped onions and very little sauce .

The food is absolutely delicious 😋 it’s the first time we step foot 🦶 we will definitely be going back. Thankyou to the young lady who gave us the menu 🥡🥢

Having read the Tripadvisor reviews for The Lemon House we decided to try this instead of going to the Wan Wing House as per usual. What a mistake! This was unreservedly the worst ever Chines / Asian takeaway we've ever had - and we've been here a long time. The dishes were all just a mass of over sweetened goo with hardly any protein content at all (beef, chicken, shrimps etc). The Japanese Calamari was particularly dreadful as were the Crispy Wantons. What a disastrous meal for the 7 of us. A complete rip-off which we shall NEVER repeat. Be warned

We have used Lemon House for years and will only order from there. The phone lines are often really busy but the food is always worth the wait. I have introduced Lemon House to many friends and they all say the same.

Our first order and it did not disappoint. Excellent value for money. Meal for 3 which fed 4 of us with left overs. Would thoroughly recommend

Have recently been disappointed by other Chinese takeaways in the local area so gave Lemon House a go as have enjoyed in the past. They did not disappoint. Order was delivered quickly, in less than half an hour. Food was hot and delicious. Portions are generous and tasty. Will definitely order from here again.

Lemon house Chinese!!!!don’t order from Last week had an order over £40 2 hours later got it,was cold and no pancakes or duck or chips and said they would credit next time. Just called toplace sn order and they said only pancakes and chips will be credited. I told her that we were meant to have the above credited and she said she would have to resign as it would come out of her pocket??? They missed out items that we paid for and would not send them in our next order🤬🤬 DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!

Chose a takeaway from here based on the reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren’t disappointed. Ordered for collection and they said it would be ready in 10 minutes which it was and I was very impressed with the Covid-19 safety measures in place in the shop. I felt safe and comfortable in there. Delicious food with large portions (one rice is plenty for 3 of you) and would recommend and use again. Friendly and efficient service.

So surprised! Chinese food in the past has been greasy and cold. But wow the best Chinese place ever!! Well done!! We have a take away from here every time we visit our dad! It’s a great treat

We've been taking away from the Lemon House for sometime now - after work when we are too tired to cook. Great owner, very polite, accomodating with special requests. The food is always waiting for us right on time - not once they were late -and always super tasty. Generous portions & fresh ingredients. I couldn't possibly recommend the Lemon house more. Best Chinese in the area, surely!

I am generally very picky with Chinese takeaways and am so glad to have finally found this one. Always order the same and have never been disappointed. Can get busy and sometimes not easy to get through on the phone, but I take that as a good sign. Sweet and sour chicken balls are the best I have tried and aren't oil slicked like many other places. And the portions are enough to last for at least 2 nights worth of meals. Highly recommend

Quick delivery, such a great choice, especially for vegetarians: being able to have tofu in any sauce is such a change, highly recommended

Tried this place after reading the reviews, was definitely not disappointed !! The food was delicious, large servings and piping hot. Can honestly say that this was the very best Chinese take out that we have ever eaten, and will be visiting again very soon

We have been using this take away for over 4 years and it is always consistently great food. This is the first time of using this year, as we don’t live locally, and the food was great as always. Despite us living 50 miles away and my father in law 200 miles away he always insists on a trip when he visits. The only downside for me is that the crispy sea weed is far too sweet which is a shame as I normally love it. However this is such a minor point given everything else.

I was staying with my brother for a few days and we had 2 takeaways from here. Thai green curry is the best and tonight I had the king prawn with satay sauce. Each time we had free prawn crackers even these are tasty and 2nd time a bottle of coke. They say 45 mins delivery but both times must only have been 30 mins max. The chicken sweet & sour balls, 10 in total are so tender and delish. The whole experience was wonderful.

I ordered a set menu from this restaurant which was very tasty and not artificial tasting as many Chinese takeaways can be. It arrived promptly well within the hour that I was told it would take. My only gripe is that when I rang to order the lady on the phone kept me waiting for quite a while whilst she was talking to a customer which I found rather rude. Still, the food was very tasty and I would order again .

Used this place a many times over the past year when we want that Sunday night Chinese.

Just collected and devoured a delicious flavoursome meal with just the right heat from Lemon House . Vegetables still crunchy not too greasy and huge portion - so lunch for work tomorrow sorted . Excellent as always .Many thanks

Came here while away on a business trip - thought I'd eat in my hotel room rather than sit in a restaurant.

Can't fault this place. Always arrives fast. Always hot. And always tasty. My favour take away treat.

Food took about 35 minutes, we left it for a little bit (10 minutes max) before we started eating because as a family you take a little longer - food was not good, we all tried the noodles and they were bland. The rice wasn't fried properly and tasted like soap. We also had duck with it so we finished eating the duck and beef which was good. At the end we called them and let them know and they basically just shrugged and said "tough, next time you order with us you can get free drinks". The customer service was very poor.

Great food, prepared at the moment. Fast service, skilled cooks and very friendly front desk staff. You can call to arrange a time for collection if is more convenient than the delivery or to wait for it to be ready.

We have many to choose from here in Staines, however these guys are our favourite. Their food is tasty, good portion sizes and always on time. I really like their menu and will continue to use them as our local Chinese take away.

The phone system is impressive, they know who and where one is calling from so there's never any mistakes over delivery.

Teníamos x 2 Curry de Malasia, una de pollo y otra de verduras con arroz de verduras rollitos de primavera, arroz frito y especial de Singapur. Llena de sabor y bien caliente. Precio muy razonable. No me puedo quejar y ahora tienen un nuevo cliente.

Decidimos probar este chino para llevar. Mi marido pidió no ginger en su plato y llegó llena de jengibre. Teníamos pollo y sopa de maíz dulce para comenzar y estaba bien. Yo tenía un plato de pollo y champiñones, que era gris, viscoso y sosa. Yo también tenía arroz frito huevos que no tenía huevos, motas sólo amarillo de algo entre el arroz seco. Asqueroso. Encargué crujiente de algas y fue cubierta en presentador de azúcar blanco. Horrible! También sólo podía comer el pan de gambas.

We've been searching for a nice Chinese take out and after a few failed attempts found this gem. The chefs garlic soya pork is amazing!

Our usual Chinese closed down so we came across The Lemon Tree.. I'm so glad we did as the food is so much better, good value and a better menu altogether. The staff are always very polite and delivery is quick. Will order again!

This is seriously a great Chinese takeaway. We have had food a few times now and everytime it is simply delicious! Good Value and outstanding quality.

What more can you ask for!? A good old skool Chinese takeaway lurking in a backstreet near the Thames which offers superb food at a pretty decent price, and it's ready ten minutes after your phone call. We use this place regularly when mooring nearby, and it's always consistent.

Very friendly staff! If you order more than once they will recognise your number and your address and use your name which is a nice touch, the food is mostly good! Sometimes the dishes are a little dry but delivery time is usually quicker than expected and a free 1l bottle of drink and some prawn crackers are usually included with large orders! Some dishes are a little pricey but this is the case with most Chinese take aways so you can't complain! Delivery is free within a certain distance and the chicken balls are very tasty! Would recommend as a good take away in Staines!

Switched over to LT last year when Kim Kitchen changed hands and the quality dropped off .... LT offers excellent food and fast delivery at a decent price.Highly recommended A+

Been a regular customer for a couple of years now and have been very satisfied with Lemon house every time we order which is at least once a month .. Being fans of Chinese food as a family we have tried almost all the local area Chinese places and by far this is the best .. They deliver very quickly - most of the times it is within 30 min or less and food is freshly cooked and not once we felt that we were eating reheated food. I would recommend most of the dishes from the menu except Thai curries are not that good, but that is to be understood as this isn't a thai restaurant.. Price is fair for the quality, quantity and quick service ..

We came across this Chinese after a leaflet dropped through the door. After having had my fair share of sickly, MSG filled poor tasting takeaways, we decided to give this one a try and we never looked back. There is so many dishes to choose from including Malaysian dishes too which are delicious. The food is really good quality and always delivered very fast! We have recommended this to many other considering not many people know of this place!

I've ordered from here a few times now, the menu is fantastic with lots of different dishes to choose from, reasonably priced. I always ask for my food "a little spicy" which they kindly do for me. My father is a curry man but we ordered from here and he was more than impressed with what he ordered. Absolutely delicious. Food arrives within half an hour, piping hot!
