Lee Kebab & Pizza House in Gosport

Tried the hot and spicy wings while down here on holiday other half tried the pizza highly recommend returned three nights in a row that good .

Always enjoy our food from Lee. Tastes freshly cooked. Great location for a kebab-based picnic while watching the ships roll in and roll out again.

Hot Dang! One of the best kebab shops on the south coast. These boys know how to doner! Ordered a small lamb doner with chilli sauce and garlic mayo and was blown away by the flavours. The meat is of a fair quality and shaved thin enough to allow for a slight crispy feel, but the star of the show...... the sauce is AMAZING! The only downside was the portion size (smaller than I'm used to), but I can forgive that for the fantastic flavours. Will definitely be dropping by again if I pass. Keep up the great work Lee Kebab.

This Kebab Shop used too be Amazing and I used too love going here Staff were great and the food was really nice I don't know what has happened but the staff have all changed and they don't seem as Friendly I tried too speak too 1 of the guys in there who I knew from before and 2 of the other members of staff glared at me and name me feel very uncomfortable Now onto the food where do I start it was beyond disgusting I ended up binning most of mine The Lamb doner meat has changed completely it didn't look like Lamb at all the Chicken had a strange taste that I can't describe but it tasted nothing like chicken an they are very stingy with salad The prices have shot up We certainly won't be rushing to go back anytime soon

Had a stop over for the night in Portsmouth looked on Google for food near me honestly was blown away with the quality for a kebab and pizza takeaway very clean, guys behind counter very efficient evidently seen they been a team working together for a while food was amazing if your an outsider looking for a decent takeaway you won't be disappointed in theses guys.

Always amazing food and service, we are regulars for the chicken shish and never disappointed. Would 1000% recommend!!

Very good imo. Burgers and kebabs are really nice. Also you can eat on the beach, and at night the parking is free.

Brilliant kebab and pizza, we had a huge order over £90 and they made no mistakes. Our food was all hot and really well cooked, the chicken shish is my favourite with garlic Mayo! Will be back soon

We ordered some food last Tuesday at 7.50pm we eventually got out food at about 9.45. We was not happy 😒 when we phone the staff just kept saying its very busy the service here has gone.down Hill it's so bad now. Its such a same because the food is good. So for this reason we will be going back to rowner grill from now on .

Ordered 2 hours ago and still waiting for food to arrive. Called twice and told it will be 5-10 mins. Food has not arrived. Clearly order not processed. Will never order again. Do not bother to order food for delivery if you want it to arrive!

Eaten kebabs all over the world. This is by far the best I've ever had. Chicken shish is the best. Well cooked, salad is fresh.. ..love it

Literally no idea about the reviews of this place ordered tonight through just eat. 4 pieces of dry chicken in a pitta and my wife had the fattiest lamb in a salad. You literally couldn’t eat it. For £30 you would expect a bit more than to fill yourself up on the dripping chips! Disgusting. Never again

Was so disappointed tonight normal a really good kebab. Tonight kebab was rubbish ask for all the salad and only got Lettuce. Waited over an hour for delivery and when I opened it sorry it was rubbish. Please slow down and read the order before rushing the food out.😔

Superb kebabs. They were really tasty, freshly cooked and took about 10 minutes. I had the chicken shish, no sauce, and all the salad which all looked very fresh. This is a really healthy kebab and so delicious 😋 also had the donar kebab with extra chilli sauce and lots of salad. Great portions and full of flavour. Definitely getting another one.

Just order a small kebab if wanting a large or xl as they are all the same size (but save a bit of money) They pack it with so much salad you could say its a salad kebab! I genuinely think a vegan could eat it! Glad I spent £16 on a XL (sorry XSmall) salad pitta and chips! Poor tactics to load with salad and minimal meat. Look at the reviews, it's not great.

£16 for 1 small Kebab and one small Kebab meal, Seriously!!!! The taste was average I have had far better and which have been cheaper from another Kebab shop in Gosport/Lee. Never been to this one before so me and the wife thought we would try it on our way home. It was hot that was the main thing. We would maybe go back but not as our first choice of Kebab House.

Absolutely banging. First time we've visited Lee kebab and Pizza. Had chicken donner and chips and it tasted delicious. Fresh salad, proper chicken in the chicken donner. We ate it watching the sun set. We live about an hour away but we'll be back hopefully next week.

A few weeks ago I decided to have a kebab, I have not done that for years. went to our local kebab shop. Food was great, meat in the pitta bread with sauce of your choice and salad served separately to add as you choose. Not a huge soggy mess of pitta , sauce and meat that I remember from my youth! Wow it was great! Tonight I thought I would do the same but have a delivery. Oh dear, It all came stuffed/wedged into the pitta in big soggy mess, cooked and tasted nice but visually awful and the salad was not as nice as compared to my earlier collection experience. Surely the delivery can be the same as a collection! I thought I was going to use these guys more often but this evenings experience has put me right off!

Nicely cooked and marinated lamb and chicken shish kebabs, fresh salad, fair price. Convenient location to sit and eat the food on a nearby bench by the beach.

Best kebab house I've ever been to. I would recommend it to everyone. The staff are really friendly and nice, the interior is very modern and clean the design is simple and I love it. One of my favourite meals there is the messy burger i get it regularly. I'm never going to another kebab house anywhere else. It's amazing.

Nearly 2 hours to deliver a single kebab to a Lee on Solent address! Ordered at 7.30pm and still waiting for it at 9.19pm !!! Just called the shop to be told ten mins away… really bad service!

Paid £11 for small Lamb Shish Box meal.. took an hour and 20 minutes no chips, four pieces of meat and tiny bit of onion and cabbage .. disgusting! Never again 😒

On a hot day perfect place for a chilled can of coke but as for the food well try at your own risk. Kebab was poor to say the least and the pizza had minimal cheese and 2 slices had no cheese or sauce what so ever and to belive we asked for extra cheese 😆 🤣 . The person on the phone was not the brightest to try and order food with, very common and certainly has no manners or people skills. Don't think they like you being particular about your food, it's there way or the high way ( customer always wrong). I certainly won't be eaten from here ever again but on a hot day would buy some cans of pop, if strolling along the beach as this was only thing they got right.

I don’t often leave a review but thought I would take the time to leave one for here as it was amazing. Even if we did forget to pay the delivery girl!! But that soon got rectified (crossed wires) lol. Anyway I have tried lots of kebab houses in Gosport over the years and this one is by far the best. They stopped delivering to us in Gilkicker/Alverstoke for a short while before Covid, I’m guessing because of the distance, but I tried to order a delivery again tonight and they delivered for a small charge, happily pay it as it’s so worth it. Most kebab houses deliver food with a little extra (hairs) and it puts me right off. Especially during these times, hygiene is everything. Lee kebab felt clean, the salad came separate from the chicken shish which was nice as it didn’t go soggy. The chicken was lovely and good quality, the garlic pizza with cheese was so tasty, and fresh. The chips were cooked to perfection and the garlic sauce perfect! (Sorry to everyone I speak to tomorrow)! All round perfect tonight, restored my faith in having a kebab again, but only from here. Please don’t stop delivering to Gilkicker again!!! Thanks for a great takeaway! Money well and truly spent ☺️

Now third time using here. Food has been nice on all occasions. Quiet a lot of choice on menu.

Ordered my kebabs and still waiting hour and a half later. Totally disgusting, phoned twice and they said they were busy but never said this over the phone. Last time they lost our order gave them benefit of the doubt and still failed. Will go elsewhere next time.

Food is normally good. However, this most recent time it took over 90 minutes for them to deliver a simple order. Terrible service.

Updated my review as seen a big improvement recently! Were previously very slow on delivery but now usually 45mins max. The food is really good particularly the mixed kebabs. Whatever has changed has made a big difference, long may that continue

It's very hard to make me happy about food. But I need to tell chicken doner is really amazing. Sometimes You need wait a bit for food but is really worth. Not to expensive,fresh,very tasty. To be honest they got the best chicken doner around. Alway plan my dinner when I going to Lee on the Solent. Highly recommended AAA+++

very disappointed. have always been a regular customer here. i ordered tonight at 5:28pm and was told that delivery would be up to an hour, we did mint receive our order until 7:33pm and only after calling up and chasing them twice - no apology.

used to order from lee for years and theirs service is slower and slower. today 16 april 2021 was my last order. i ordered for collection 30 min before i show up...i paid and they told me 5 min waiting... after another 30 minutes i asked them about my order and they even not made it, when i arrived home i realized that the food is cold...great dinner straight in the bin.

The guy who served us had a bad attitude towards me and told me that I had to leave the shop as I didn't have a mask on, but I did have a lanyard on telling him that I was exempt from my doctor. I will never return to the shop.

Great kebab however about a month ago had to wait nearly 2 hours after being told 30 mins for a delivery, tonite told an hour waited again nearly 2 hours. Not acceptable. Great kebab but collect, don't expect an on time delivery.

I have just ordered a meal from Lee Kebabs as we had one from them a couple of weeks ago,and we were very pleased it was all very tasty,the chicken in the shish kebabs was very tender and delicious,And all at a very good price. Recently reopened after being refurbished and extended, Lee Kebab & Pizza is a go-to place. The staff are the loveliest people. The food is excellent - great, beautifully marinated chicken shish, good chips. The prices are reasonable and trade is deservedly brisk. The extension, which will serve ice cream and waffles, is due to open in July. This business has mercifully survived the crisis and I wish them well.

Halal place. Delicious fish and chips. Didn’t try their other menu but the place has friendly staffs and clean foods. I definitely recommend it for Turkish taste on the beach.

Kebab and chips were 2 hours late,warm and no pitta bread. I understand we are in difficult times but if you can not keep up with orders,dont take so many or dont open!! Really not happy as have used them for years and never had a problem.

A great kebab but delivery takes forever!! Last three orders have been over 2 hours, the last over 2 and a half!!! When I ring to enquire its "just about to leave the shop" and then takes another half hour. Simply not worth the wait.

Thank you, lovely hot food. We appreciate the circumstances with covid-19 so being our first order in ages it's absolutely great, free garlic pizza lovely. Polite lovely workers and delivery drivers too, have always used you and will carry on for sure.

Never had a bad experience with these guys, and having a 15 year old boy means we have a few meals from here! Generous portions, good value and good food, what's not to love?

Avoid, go to Gosport or order elsewhere. The food here is like warm when ordered in the restaurant for take out. The food is full of grease and oil. The staff are UNHYGIENIC and stink of smoke. Especially with the virus, I don't want people smoking then handling my food in their normal street clothes not even in uniform. I went there last week and I regret it, I will never go back. They have been running for years and years which is sometimes a good thing, but I hope they close down so someone else can take over in this prime part of town.

Very disappointing this eve.We have used this place for years.So we placed our order at 19.35 we were told it would be 1 hour 30 mins delivery we were happy to wait.Anyway 2 hours later we get our food.Really think they should stop taking orders for delivery for a short time if they can't meet a reasonable delivery time!

We always order kebab and pizza from here if we want a takeout but you have to order over the phone because the online service is terrible. Ordered before online and it took over an hour and tonight I ordered at 1819 and had to phone at 1930 to ask where my order was - it hasn’t left the shop yet but will be in about 5 Mins (I’m not convinced). If previous experience can be relied on then it will be cold too :(In summary, a great little takeaway and the food is always nice but never use the online facility
