Good fish. Good chips. A must in this area.

Disappointed! Steak & Kidney pies were just awful. Cold even though they were in the heated glass and just mush. The chips looked lovely and golden but the smell of the oil was off putting. The cod however, was nice and fresh. We only visited as our local fish bar was shut

First time eating out of here today and it was top class. I will definitely be going back.

This place does the best fried fish in the area. Always cooked to order. I don't know where they get their fish, but they are huge......

Just went for the first time today and it was delicious! The staff were hugely friendly and the fish and chips were fresh, crisp and delicious :)

Portions sometimes half of what i get other times. Sometimes the portions are not what i expect them to be, especially the chips portion. The inconsistency is vast. I find the lady working there gives smaller portions than the other staff. Its unlikely i'll get my chips when she is working there.

Amazing! Excellent service with good price. I go and buy my favourite cod and chips weekly. In addition to great, fresh, tasty food I must say staff are so friendly and kind. They make sure food served in light speed. I am so fortunate to have this take away in my town Lee.

This a nice traditional chip shop, I had some lovely fresh chips and 2 rolls, and as served with a smile. Cost £4.50, pricey but everything has increased in price at the minute. The shop was very clean, and surprisingly odourless of grease etc. Although they have a big menu, unfortunately, the availability on a Wednesday afternoon was limited. There was no option given to wait for what I wanted, to be cooked. Some parking nearby or accessible by bus.

The best fish and chips I’ve had away from the seaside. There isn’t anywhere in London that’s gotten anywhere close!

Let me start with the staff were friendly and had good customer service. But food not so good chips were cold as was the fish and also found fish to be very watery. The savaloy was the only thing that was hot. Would I recommend this chippy no. Would I go back no.

I was dubious as I ordered delivery and thought it wouldn’t travel The cod was crispy and gorgeous The chips ..omg so nice The scampi -amazing The battered sausage again 10 out of 10 (No I didn’t eat everything-it was shared but had to try everyone else’s 😊

The orders via say Deliveroo are much better than collecting in person - more expensive but nicer

Can not recommend this fish and chip shop enough. Excellent. Just excellent. Portions are massive, fish is cooked to perfection, chips are not greasy… it’s just excellent. You won’t be disappointed.

Nah wasn't impressed.. no Cod. Chips where white and pastey Greasy haddock and a nasty price at £12.30 used to be a good Chip shop.. gone down hill big time won't go back. Downham way chippy is much better 👌

Can’t believe it. Used to stop off to this shop all the time a few years back. Ordered through Deliveroo fish and chips and peas. Sealed bag came. No fish. Rang them up and at first the guy says he’ll deliver the fish. Then I get a abusive phone call from a woman screaming down the phone the fish got put in and she said ‘she has cameras’. Well, I didn’t get the fish I paid for and I don’t think I’ve ever been screamed at by a restaurant. Thank God I got the refund through Deliveroo. Never again.

The food is fine at this fish bar ,but the younger boss has shocked me to the core by screaming at the woman that serves the customers whom I had found to be very nice to any customers that were in the shop on my visit I make to get food twice a week .The last visit I made to Lee fish bar was so disturbing for me by the way he was yelling at his employee this is why I will not be buying food from Lee fish bar again. I am going to remember this for along time .

I have been going for years . Since the nice guy has left the current staff tend to have attitude went in there today and told to spend more than £5 on my card . They don’t get charged and do that for there own benefit to make money on this occasions went next door to Pizza Hut ordering what’s advertised and no problem

Best place to come for the good old tradition of Fish n chips on Friday. I walk in to Musa's big friendly voice and walk out with fresh fish. and fluffy chips, squirt of vinegar. I'm trying to go vegetarian, so I replace the fish with pancake roll. I'm glad to hand over cash for this gold. 🥇

Other fish and chip shops have come and gone the simple traditional approach at a really fair price is a reason Lee Fish Bar is still with us and fingers crossed stays with us for years to come. Great fish & chips place, with lots of dishes on the menu besides the usual ones. For instance: grilled or fried halloumi (delish!), prawns, homemade mouthwatering onion rings, chicken fillet (very tasty) etc... Healthy options available. Staff are very friendly!!

A huge thank you to the staff at Lee Fish Bar for continuing to open throughout the recent coronavirus outbreak. We have had fish chips every week so far and also get some for our elderly neighbour. We now all look forward to our weekly treat. All the staff are cheerful and friendly and the food is excellent. Everything is freshly cooked and the portions are great . The shop only lets a couple of customers in at a time in keeping with current regulations so its a safe environment. You can ring and pre-order food before collection. It is advisable to check opening times as may vary at this time. Well done to all at Lee Fish Bar ,stay safe and take care .
