I've been a regular for many years, and both the service and the food have consistently been excellent—always reliable and spot on!

I haven't been to the restaurant but ordered food for delivery. The Falafel was very delicious and, most importantly, authentic. The mixed mezze was various and tasty, especially Batat Harra. The food was fresh, nicely packed, and well priced.

One of the best labanese food i have eaten. I am their regular customer and eating there from last 7-8 years. Great price and good quality food.

Wonderful Gem of a restuarant. Try anything on the menu and you will never be disapointed. I strongly reccommend the seabass however. Highly reccommend.

Enjoyed the food. Expect simple facilities. Bring your own wet wipes, as no toilets or wash basin. And with finger food, it can get messy, especially with kids. However we didn't come for facilities, but for the food which was good. Very much enjoyed by kids and adults alike.

This is not a glamorous place but the service is exemplary and the food is delicious! The menu isn't the most extensive and the veggie options are limited but that doesn't matter, it's excellent value. I can highly recommend the halloumi wrap. Did I mention the excellent, attentive service? 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I'm not one to post negative reviews, but we had such a terrible experience I needed to share so others don't experience the same. We ordered an office lunch at 11am over Deliveroo to be delivered for 1pm. Order wasn't picked up on the app for an hour, even though they were supposed to open at 11am, so called them at 12. Their response on the phone was 'we haven't looked at our orders yet', so I explained that it was a big order that needed to be delivered within the next hour, so they said they would take a look. I then received a cancellation of the order 15 mins later at 12.15. When I called them back they just said they can't do the order and hung up on me. Poor customer service and left us with 45 mins to source lunch for the office.

Been here a few times so decided to visit again. Ordered the mixed starter for two. And then 2 wraps. All food perfect. Very tasty. Freshly cooked, served in good time. Cash only if you are using the restaurant. Really can't fault this place.

I’ve been going here ever since they’ve opened and can say they have remained consistent. The only feedback i would suggest is they need to use more environmentally packaging and i do think sometimes the grilled chicken at times could be more fresh. But their consistency is why i go back regularly

Brilliant takeaway and fantastic service

Received a wrong order, with two items missing. Deliveroo offered £6 as a compensation for the missing items and inconvenience, which is nothing but pathetic! You will be surprised how businesses are being run these days..

The service was speedy and the food was fresh and delicious. Portions are a good size. Although the setting was intimate it didn’t detract from the lovely atmosphere. Great value for money I would highly recommend

Ordered on Friday night over the phone for collection. Easy, friendly communication and very efficient! Was ready to pick up within 20 mins. Quick, friendly collection and everything was piping hot. The baby half chicken was beautiful and huge! We chose this with salad and fries. The salad was fresh and the chips had a lovely, light seasoning. We also had the Kofte Orfely with rice which was also a very good size and seasoned perfectly. 10/10 would highly recommend, especially for such brilliant value.

One of the best places in St Albans for half chicken, the juiciest chicken and tastiest sauces, lovely big portion for a reasonable price, my go to place for a takeout .

Ordered the hummus topped with lamb. Cold and dry when arrived. Ordered the mixed platter, meats were overcooked and very dry. Chips were the only decent thing

Delicious food at great prices. Service was very friendly and speedy. We ate in the place, a bit cold with delivery people constantly in and out. Limited seating. Next time(s) will use as a takeaway or delivery. It may be temporary, but at the moment no cards, just cash.

Sent the wrong order and wanted me to come in person to get the right one they couldn't send out in the first place.

In one word - DELICIOUS! Ordered the mix for 2 and the chicken sambousek, arrived in less than 30 minutes, and was absolutely a treat. Meats and chicken grilled perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. Our new go-to place for meat in St. Albans.

Ordered on Deliveroo. Had the fattoush and mixed starter for one. Food tasted good and came in good time. Shame the fattoush came with only 3 x 1cm cubes of halloumi, the rest was salad – cucumber, tomato, iceberg lettuce, loads of fried crispy bread, and dressing, oh and a couple of olives.

Ordered takeaway. First timer at Lebanese Kitchen. Very tasty shish chicken and lamb. The fries were nice too. My only suggestion is put salad in separate bag and not kept warm in the box with the hot food. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I visited here today, we are not from the area but have been here before. We think the service is excellent, and the food is to die for! We highly recommend this beautiful authentic rustic cafe. Thank you guys-we will be back.

Very bad customer service no service at all staff very rude portions sizes very small rip off food at rip off prices. It's overrated I've been to much better lebanese. I think waste of time going there won't be going there ever again even though spend good money inside zero service how it's got 4.6 rating is mesmerising they must be buying the reviews. Unseasoned and unsatisfying. The fatoush salad tasted like some raw ingredients thrown together without any dressing. The wraps were also disappointing. The meat wasn't bad, but was pretty much unseasoned. Thrown together with some lettuce and wrapped without any sauces makes for something you can eat but leaving you very disappointed.

What they call Arabic bread is just sainsburys own tortilla wraps which were cold & hard. The mezze for 2 wouldn't even feed a rat, it was a pathetic portion size. All the meat included was dry. The falafels were SO DRY like SOOO DRY & tasted of fish!! They were definitely cooked in the same oil as their fish! Nothing was fresh, nothing was hot, nothing was good!! AVOID THIS PLACE!

This has got to be the most under rated place I've eaten at. The food was a. Amazing. Service was excellent We didn't have to book ahead or wait for ages to get our meals. Give it a try when you get the chance. In today's economic crisis, it's one of the best value for money places to eat

We finally got to visit after reading the great reviews, and we were not disappointed! We settled on the special mixed grill for two, to sample the various Lebanese dishes. Mo and his team were great and the food and service was great. Look forward to visiting again soon!

This is probably my favourite restaurant in all of St Albans. Having spent the majority of the last 2 years in this city due to covid-19 crisis and working from home, I was able to try out most of the restaurants in the area. This one stands out above most. Though I don't recommend eating at the venue, as the place is tiny, it's super easy to just call 15-20 minutes before to collect your order. A super friendly gentleman always answers the phone and makes it easy to make adjustments to your order. The food is phenomenal, and feels like proper homemade stuff, and the price is quite low given the quality. Highly recommend the mixed grill (for one or two) as it allows you to try out multiple meats. The chips and rice are outstanding as well, and the chicken shawarma is probably the best in town. The lamb, which is usually overcooked and chewy in most places, is actually properly cooked and feels fresh and flavourful. And because they use real coal in their grills, the chicken and meat always has that unique unbeatable flavour.

Ordered a lamb shish for main via Deliveroo, this is what arrived..

Ordered a takeaway and it was so naf! Absolutely no pride went into the making of this meal; it seemed like they were just cutting corners on everything. How this place has 4.7 stars begs believe - peoples' standards must be really low or there's a bit of self reviewing going on... Ordered a falafel wrap. It was rubbish; soft and definitely not fresh, with a bit of lettuce shoved in and a bit of tomato. No hummus or tahini (as it said on the menu!). Likewise, I had some rice which was pretty much the same as you'd get in a 'boil in a bag' from the supermarket - pre cut vegetables etc. Grim. Then to top it off Everything came in a polystyrene boxes COME ON have you guys been living under a rock the last 5 years ?! Lets reduce plastic and use cardboard/paper/ etc. Won't be going here again unless they change their ways and start making a bit more effort.

Ordered a falafel wrap for takeaway. The actual falafel is nice but this isn't a falafel wrap too be honest. It's falafel with a bit of lettuce and tomato in a wrap. No sauces in there, wasn't even asked when I was in there, need more fresh items in there like cabbage, shredded carrot etc. Sorry to say I wouldn't buy a falafel from here, it's nothing special for the money you pay. I called and spoke to someone about them offering sauces inside it, I told them I didn't like it and he said okay that's fine and put the phone down on me. 👏Great customer service, not even asked how it could be improved. Not going to visit here again.

First time take away, ordered on a whim to try something new. Ordered a mixed grill dish for 2 with fries- absolutely incredible! We were so pleasantly surprised especially for the price. Delicious, fresh, generous portion, incredibly flavour and spice, very quick service especially since it was peak ordering time on a Saturday. Even the fries (which I never eat) were sensational, we finished the lot! Very very happy, thank you very much, will be ordering from you again. True gem!

I travel from Essex to eat here.. and it’s worth it! The best Lebanese you will ever taste. Bursting with flavour, friendly, welcoming staff and great prices. What more could you ask for?

Ordered a take away. Terrible, can’t see how they can be called Lebanese kitchen . Not even the bread was Lebanese. The grilled smoked aubergine was vile . The Hummus was awful the vine leaves was stuffed with just rice. Ordered a half grilled chicken it was burnt and dry . Would not recommend.

I would consider myself something of a mixed grill connoisseur. I've had mixed grills up and down the country and the special mixed grill here is hard to beat. Perfectly cooked meats over coal with fluffy fragrant rice. One of the very best around.

Always good quality and service

My friends and I have been going to Lebanese Kitchen for a long time now. We've tried a fair few delicious items from the menu, but it's a testament to just how good their chicken shawarma is that it's the one meal we still get every single time. Get it with the rice and chips combo and you're in for a treat. The atmosphere of the place is always great, it's a small set up but that's what gives it its charm. The service has always been second to none, with incredibly friendly staff who always serve you with a smile. Having lived in St. Albans most of my life and eaten at many restaurants, this is by far my favourite.

We have been eating here for a long time, not once has it been bad or average, always 10/10 even during the busy period. Friendly staff, great customer service and very competitively priced too. If you have not tried then all I can say is your missing out. 👍🏼😋

Delicious! we regularly order takeaways after discovering this little gem last year. The meat is very tender and perfectly spiced. The rice is amazing too. Family favourite!

I had a sudden craving for Lebanese! I was not disappointed. Although Olives with the pickles were bit small in size, they were tasty and excellent value. The mixed starer had good variety but could have had bit more salad. The mixed grill for one could easily feed two or three and with 50/50 fries/rice was excellent value and meat was very tasty. Overall really enjoyed and shall be back to try more! Thanks

We visited Lebanese Kitchen based on TripAdvisor reviews. Don't judge this venue from the outside as looks are very deceiving. I was not disappointed with the food I received. All the dishes were fantastically presented and full of flavours. I would definitely recommend visiting this place.

Really nice food, the staff was very friendly and found no problem explaining the dishes for us. The traditional Arab desserts were delicious, specially the pistachio one. I Will definitely come back here several more times in the future.

We have been going here now for years and the food is exceptional. The whole family love it especially my eldest son. Mohammed, one of the owners is very friendly and accommodating.The mixed grill is amazingly delicious with the rice! The chicken wings are fantastic swell as the humous and pitta bread. Reasonable priced good quality middle Eastern food

You'd be forgiven to think this is just a standard take away with a few tables. Not so, the food is pretty much restaurant quality, and with very reasonable prices too.

This is the third time visiting and I have to say the food is outstanding, there is a lot of competition in the area and I always find myself returning the mixed kebab is fantastic!!!

We went for a drive and when we realize we were near St Albans I remembered this place we had been before some time ago and I had a memory of a good meal. we were the only people although it was quite early just after 12 and I also presume they do a lot of take away. We had Moutabal and falafel and both were fantastic especially the falafel very moist inside and crisp outside. Therefore, we were looking forward to the main meal lamb based but we both were a bit disappointed as flavour was not the main thing and some of the lamb was a bit chewy and lacking a bit of flavour. It might be called Lebanese kitchen, but the menu seemed to reflect more of a generic middle eastern eatery rather than specific Lebanese!

A cosy restaurant and take away with an incredibly fresh and delicious Lebanese/Middle Eastern menu. Since discovering this little gem, I've been going at least once a week...my family love it too !.....the food is addictive. This is no average restaurant, its amazing value and you can tell they take pride and care in marinating the fresh and tender meats...amazing vegetarian options too..the moutabal & tabbouleh are mouth watering. Oh and lets not forget the homemade tomato chili sauce and garlic mayo sauce that if bottled and sold would fly off the shelf ! The staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive and Mo, the owner, is an absolute Gentlemen. Put this on your bucket list !

The food here is always great! It's quick and tasty and I think it's great value. Small inside, but we tend to get takeaway. The staff are always nice and the food is so good - you can get some pretty healthy options (grilled chicken breast, salad, etc.) or go all in and get something less healthy, but honestly so worth it - delicious! Even the healthier options are so full of flavour you don't miss out. I try to resist the Baklava but it's too good!

I love Lebanese food but the food at Lebanese Kitchen is pretty bad. It's very poor quality and it doesn't taste good at all. I will definitely not eat there again.

Having seen the reviews we walked down from the town centre looking for this little gem. At first glance we weren’t too sure of the place when we got there, especially my teenage kids. But the food soon arrived and what a treat it was! The chicken was delicious and the rice even more so. I ordered the baby chicken in Arabic sauce. There was so much food on my plate I shared it out. I could easily have eaten the rice on its own it was that good. The service was good. No frills just fab food. As others have said take cash. I am looking forward to going again!! Next time I will try the vegetarian dishes yummmmm
