Another amazing vegan breakfast at Spoons and Forks. Delicious food and excellent friendly service. Best in Mold.

I contacted Spoons and Forks from Australia to ask for an afternoon tea to be delivered to my mum for Australian Mothers Day. I would like to thank you for the amazing tea that was delivered as requested. For the price paid, the quantity and quality of the food was fantastic. Thank you again. I will definitely use you again and mum said she will be visiting you soon.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch today, the beef dinner was delicious and lots of it!! We had it delivered and they were right on the time asked also we had apple crumble with custard which was a huge portion but again delicious. The lady who dropped off the food was very pleasant. I’d say the food was very good value for money and we’ll definitely order from Spoons and Forks again.

Very good roast beef meal, delivered on time and well packaged. As much as we could eat, nicely cooked and hot. Victoria sponge also delicious. Had to keep for tea! Will be ordering again. Very friendly and efficient lady.

Phwaaa them sausages were bloody gorgeous, the whole breakfast was gorgeous! I love this place as I love the top and bottom crust on the bread and no one else does!‍♀️ what a shame!! And Chris and Stephen ALWAYS, when I order, make sure I get the crusts!! Top customer service that is! lol And everything is fresh, just a shame I have to share EVERYTHING I have from here with someone at home! They did us a fantastic spread with Homemade sausage rolls, Homemade quiche and sandwiches, with plenty of filling, that was bloody LUSH and I always treat my mum to cake, any cake as long as it’s CAKE! Lol And it’s always bloody sexy! Lol BUT I can’t THANK them ENOUGH for the absolutely amazing BIRTHDAY meal they made for the OH, he don’t share his food with me! Just saying, the Double cheese burgers with bacon, chicken burger with chips and salad Mama Mia out this world!!! BUT they have a secret, cheese garlic bread, OMG now that’s bloody nice!! Especially with a bit of the salad and coleslaw on top! This couple have kept going through the pandemic and made sure so many have had hot, fresh meals who would of been lost without their home delivery service and I know a couple myself! So if you haven’t they why haven’t you had a collect or better still home delivery fromHere?? I promise you you won’t regret it!!! And Sunday dinner till 6pm, I mean what more can you ask for! Thank You BOTH so much for ALL the meals for ALL the occasions you’ve be there for us from birthdays, Mother’s Day everything so that our family have not missed out on too much! Your both stars xxx

The food at Spoons and Forks is absolutely beautiful. We enjoy eating there (when Lockdown rules allow!) and have had regular deliveries throughout the pandemic. They have a fantastic range of freshly-cooked options at incredibly reasonable prices (we recommend the breakfasts, paninis and Sunday dinners). The delivery service is second to none, everything is packaged safely and hot when delivered and always with a smile. Thank you Spoons and Forks for making Lockdown bearable, your food is amazing and we look forward to enjoying more.

It was my birthday on Sunday 31st January – three score years and ten. As family and friends can’t get together, I arranged for around 30 meals to be provided around the country – around the world – to be delivered / collected between 12 and 12.30. My grateful thanks to Chris at THE SPOONS AND FORKS, Mold; Nikki at The Three Cottages, Hasland; Alison at the Crispin Inn, Ashover; Heidi Waterfield in Market Harborough; Treats Café in Weston-Super-Mare; other suppliers in Narborough and the Farmer’s Market in Hasting (New Zealand) for their most helpful, courteous and understanding co-operation in making this happen during a time when people can’t get together. All excellent food and all helped family and friends to be 'together' at a ‘virtual’ birthday party. If you have a (special) birthday coming up and you want to arrange something ‘special’ at this time, please speak to these lovely lovely people. They too are special, and they too miss the regular contact with their customers.Thank you each. You have made my day and brought a smile to many faces today. At the moment, being able to do that is just MAGIC!

Have had Sunday roasts delivered a few times now and have nothing but great things to say, the beef is perfection, the gravy sublime, value for money this place cant be beat, and it saves me cooking

Visited recently the smell of the place is very Greasy Spoon, put me of my breakfast, won’t be going there again, no atmosphere, cold and uninviting

Consistently excellent. Have been here several times since they took over the old Latitude 53 premises, and it never fails to disappoint. Lovely coffee, excellent food, great service and good value. Couldn't ask for more than that!

Today had two delicious hot Sunday roast beef lunch delivered to our house free of charge at the time I had reserved. It was good value with tasty roast beef, Yorkshire, 5 veg, roast potatoes and masses of gravy - we did enjoy the treat. Also had delicious hot apple crumble and custard - one portion was sufficient for two people, so had one left for next day. Cost was £12.50 per person for the two courses. Go on treat yourself on a Sunday.

What a meal!!!Treated my mum during lockdown to a fantastic afternoon tea and OMG it was HIGE!! This has to be the biggest and by far the best we have had and we know what we are talking about!! LolI also had a delivery for my birthday, a breakfast! And bloody hell I we weren’t let down! Also I found a chocolate cake with a candle in! Not many would do that for you especially during a lockdown! Look all I’m going to say is if you haven’t tried a gorgeous meal from here then why not?? I promise you you will not be disappointed!!! From breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas to your classics it’s all homemade from scratch when you order and that’s what I LOVED!! I have now been back and had deliveries a few times and we have enjoyed everything we have had! But I love the fact the the couple who own the place even though this lockdown is on going have NOT once not ONCE reduced the quality of their food unlike a few I could mention! So if you do anything I say have a take out from this couple who will deliver to your door as you will NOT regret it xxp s my Great nephew and nice wanted you to see what thy had for breakfast! This is not a cafe you would just stumble across if you were passing through Mold or walking through the main shopping area. But if you are looking for a place to take a break which does the usual British breakfast and lunch fare well, this would be a good option. They offer quite a lengthy menu and are well set up to cope during COVID. We rated the fresh sandwiches (came with a good portion of salad) and the quiche. There were plenty of tables so easy to spread out and maintain social distancing. Toilet on site and a quiet environment.

Delicious food, a brilliant portion size and promptly delivered. Would recommend to anyone. Their breakfasts are also delicious, I recommend eggs benedict with ham

We called into Mold for a wander round and something to eat after tackling Moel Famau, and came across this little gem. The baguette, paninis and quiche was lovely. We were tempted by the cakes on the menu so just had to indulge. The fruit scone was served warm, with the jam and cream. So nice Also a generous satisfying piece of Victoria sponge. Lovely friendly service too. Would come back.

First visit and was Very impressed with the owner and the way we were treated as valued guests. Took time to get to know both of us (as she did with her other guests) and ensured we were enjoying our food. The 12 inch pizza was delicious and too much for me to eat at one sitting - took 1/3 home. Home made chips were the “the real thing” and the thick bacon and garlic cheese complimented the chicken. Then WOW the apple crumble for one is massive and 1/2 had to be taken home. It was deeply filled with real apple and the aroma was mouth watering- had cream with it and would have also been enjoyable with ice cream or custard. Cakes looked great and they do afternoon tea 7 days a week - must try soon. Many thanks for the experience.

Had another great roast beef dinner delivered today with all the trimmings. Very generous portions and apple crumble to die for. Highly recommended.

I decided to treat Crazy! AKA my mother! And what a treat it was!!! We have had afternoon tea so I thought Sunday lunch! Saves me cooking! Haha Best idea again!!! Fantastic food! Plenty of everything!!!! And we had pudding! O yes this doesn’t help if your on a diet but bloody hell the apple crumble was put this world!! All I can and will say is that the food speaks for its self, from a sandwich, to breakfast, to lunch, to afternoon tea and so so much more, just GO and grab something on the run or for your tea because I promise you wont be sorry!!! As a birthday treat our family organised an afternoon tea to be delivered to our home. The young man who came to our door was very polite and personable.The food was presented to a high standard. The sandwiches were enjoyable and the cakes and scones were delicious.It truly was a very tasty afternoon tea and a highlight to my husband's lockdown birthday. During holiday at home during lockdown. Needing a treat and break from cooking and to support local businesses- decided on a takeaway breakfast. Very good. She enjoyed the veggie and I certainly enjoyed the meat eaters- 2 great chunky sausages, bacon slices and tasty black pudding. Well done folks , will test again , keep it up.

Sunday lunch perfectly prepared and cooked, delivered promptly. Thoroughly enjoyed, made better as first meal not prepared at home for such a long time.

Selection of cakes - delicious! Arrived home today to discover a box of the most amazing cakes waiting on our doorstep. Have now discovered that they were ordered by our daughter as a ‘Lockdown Surprise’ - and I can honestly say that they were delicious. I’m a coffee freak! And I love my bacon & egg toasties and these guys during lockdown have been a LIFE saver to us front line workers!!! I have tried the curry and loved it and I got my mum a scone o take home and she said it was better than the ones she makes! So even though I can tell you myself how good it is, when my mum comments then that’s the best you can get!!! Thank you big time guys and see you next week at the Daniel Owen xx

A really good place to eat. Very friendly, welcoming owners who are giving excellent service and food enjoyment in Mold. Since lockdown they have started doing take away meals, either collect or delivered. We have had delicious chicken curries, rice , naan bread and mango chutney. Also had the most divine home made chocolate ganache....to die for!!!! Food is always piping hot. For tonight we have ordered Lasagne, salad and garlic bread followed by chefs homemade scones with jam and cream. YUM!!!! The meals are very reasonably priced and are excellent value. They deserve everyone's support during this difficult time and beyond......They can rely on ours!!

Called in for brunch, had eggs benediction, lovely. Was very happy to see that they were doing take away during this awful time and have made great use of it.

We've been here before the lockdown and enjoyed a delicious meal - well cooked and with a range of fresh, tasty veg. Chips to die for! And have since had takeout breakfast bacon butties, which went down a treat too.

Phoned for delivery of 2 full English breakfasts. Order confirmed by text and arrived on time hot and ready to eat. Meals delivered in containers within insulated bag. Egg, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, toast, black pudding, tomato, mushrooms and beans.

My family and I have visited for breakfast on a few occasions now and we just love it. It's only a small restaurant but it is cosy with lovely staff. The breakfasts are delicious and the produce is of a fantastic quality, you can tell they use a local butcher! We have never had a bad meal and are happily returning customers!

I have been here with mum and dad 3 times now. Each time, the welcome is warm and friendly. There is plenty of choice on the menus and specials, and we have always enjoyed the food. Happy to recommend and look forward to going again. Thanks for looking after us so well x

I loved this place when it was Latitude, when Ian ran it. He used quality produce, baked his own bread, made his own chutneys/sauces - food was delicious.

Enjoyed full English breakfast here and nothing too much for Spoons and Forks the new owners since November 2019.

We decided to go here as we seen the greek tapas menu. The food was amazing, staff very friendly and it was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to everyone.

Visited on a Saturday evening and had the Mexican menu, food was spot on and really really good value and they were really friendly! Definitely planning on eating here again

Today was my first encounter at "Spoons and forks". I will 100% be going back to this wonderful place. I had heard from several friends that I could eat gluten free scrumptious food here and not be glutenised.

Popped in Sunday late morning for a quick coffee but then got tempted to have one full breakfast. Service friendly and efficient ,food lovely and value for money very good.

We decided to go for breakfast following 2 recommendations from friends. We both ordered the full breakfast which consisted of very high quality produce beautifully presented and served by a lovely friendly waitress. Definately be returning.

Under new management. New owners are a breath of fresh air to this place. They have made very homely and friendly changes to the place and offer a very varied menu. Their breakfasts are delicious!! On a Friday and Saturday evening they are open, offering Tapas and a full menu. We had the Tapas which was so tasty. They also do a curry evening which we have booked for Feb1st.

We only called in for a simple Sunday breakfast but were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and personal greeting that we received. The quality of the food was equally as good as the reception and was very reasonably priced. We will be returning.

This is a gem - all food cooked fresh. Vegetarian breakfast was absolutely yummy enjoyed every mouthful. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Thank you so much for great food. Wholemeal bread delicious and made on the premises. Don't miss it - a visit is a must

Called in for breakfast - poached egg on toast for my wife and bacon sandwich for me. Both on BROWN bread - which was VERY brown - but oh so tasty and light.

The breakfasts and homemade bread are amazing. We are lucky enough to travel quite a bit and have yet to find anywhere better.

Really great food. I've had plenty of really good paninis but this one beat the lot. Bacon brie and cranberry. Fat removed from the just cooked bacon, gorgeous melted brie, cranberry and perfect tasty REAL bread. Took some eating but was excellent.. We also had a half portion each of roasted pepper tomato and basil soup which was also delicious.

What a great place to visit in Mold whilst your there. I’ve been a couple of times recently and have only just got a table as it’s only a small place but serves up some of the best food around. Great coffees, great friendly service will keep me coming back for more so thanks everyone

Paid a lovely visit. Around lunch time on 1st may. I ended up having the full English breakfast which was cooked to perfection. First class friendly staff.

You can tell a good eating venue when the food doesn't arrive straight away, when you can't hear a microwave 'ping' and when they make every effort to cater for allergies/diet preferences.

Small and busy, little wait for the food but it is freshly prepared so I don’t mind that. Welsh rarebit was great, brown bread really good quality and the salad fresh and crisp. Would definitely return, maybe for breakfast next time the table next to us had one and it looked scrummy

After hearing on the grapevine about latitude 53 i thought I would check them. Wish I hadn't bothered to be honest. words fail me as to how these companies survive. Given what I experienced this outfit will not last long. Overpriced , poor quality food sums it up quite nicely. A cold room and staff on their phones all the time instead of working. Better value would be a Hulson's Pie in town for £1.20

This is one of my favourite places to eat in Mold. The food is great and the owner friendly and chatty. It’s a little on the cramped side though. I recommend booking a table in advance as it’s very popular, and rightly so!

First time visiting since they moved premises. Menu was limited due to Christmas period but the food was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be visiting again

This is a lovely little cafe. Have been a couple of times for lunch at the weekend. The food is all freshly cooked so you sometimes have to wait a bit but it is all delicious and prepared beautifully. Bread is lovely and chunky, delicious salads and tasty cheese and ham. Service is friendly the place is welcoming and comfortable.

First visit this morning with my sister. I had cooked breakfast, and sis had scone with clotted cream and jam with coffees. Fabulous! Top quality food and great service. Loved the decor and atmosphere, very well thought out. Love it!

Called in on the off chance of brunch and we were not disappointed. My partner, my 11 year old and myself enjoyed great friendly service and fab food. We tried the full breakfast, eggs royale and a special. The food tasted perfect, flavours perfectly balanced. We will be back and highly recommend.

Decided on the off chance to come here for lunch, and didn’t regret it. Had a delicious watermelon and feta salad, followed by a dairy and gluten free Victoria sponge. Will come here again.

Called in this morning for late breakfast and we ordered the full breakfast and a continental breakfast . Both were perfectly cooked and great quality , delicious coffe and friendly, efficient service . Even has glasses to read the menu if you forget to take yours along . Would recommend.
