Latinoamerica in Brighton and Hove

The steak here is to die for. My boyfriend and I visit this restaurant every time we come to Brighton and always get the ribeye spiral. It’s always perfectly cooked and the chimichurri sauce you get in the trio of dips is incredible! Service is always very good, but the restaurant is so loud on busy nights!

One of my favourite restaurants in B&H! Always been amazing each time I have been - two work dos with 10-15 staff, unreal service and lunch menu. Dinner dates have also always been incredible. Eaten twice at the next door wine bar linked when they have been too full in the main restaurant which has still been so nice (just smaller dining area).Sunday sharer deal they have is my go to - nothing can beat it!!!! Cannot wait to come back when able to do so - my first dinner out will be here.

This is the second time I’ve been here and it did not fail to deliver this time either. Negatives - they forgot our booking, my sisters steak was blue when ordered M/R and the upstairs was very cold. Positives - The rest of the food was excellent, my ribeye was really tasty as was the starters and all the sides, including the sauces. The service was excellent, the staff are always really friendly and attentive, and I got a free round of shots for my birthday! Will definitely return, after the lockdown. Keep it up!

We went for a Sunday Lunch, had an excellent platter with two different steak, chicken and lamb accompanied by vegetables and chips. All perfectly cooked.My companion has many food allergies and they happily catered for her. The waiter was well informed and extremely helpfuThe recommend red wine was delicious too.

We being coming here for may years now , always consistent and good quality food, new addition to the wine list Latinoamerica potrero wine is more than good and fair price . Covid -19 measures very good too . We will back for one more Argentinen meat experience.

We called in for lunch and ordered the experience dish of the 4 different steaks to share. It comes with 2 out of 3 options, chips/fries, salad or rice. The steaks were good quality and cooked to perfection (medium). There are COVID procedures in place with sanitation stations and the tables aren’t too close together. Would recommend!

Rare steak done medium ...then the staff argued with me and told me if I wanted my steak ‘bloody’ then I needed to order it blue.I’ve never had to order a steak blue to get it rare.I’ve been twice - wasn’t overly impressed either time. I won’t be going again.

We had special Argentine steak selection for two. The taste and side dishes sweet potatoes was amazing.

We've just returned from an amazing meat feast. We had the Tira de Ancho Ribeye platter (for 2), along with rice and salad. I've eaten a lot of good steaks in my day, worldwide, but this was exceptional. I can't fault any part of the meal and the ambience was so pleasing. We dined with our 11 year old daughter, who can be a bit picky, but they let us choose from the Cafe Malbec (sister establishment) menu so everyone was happy. Great service, great food...we'll be back.

Would definitely return, as the starters, main and dessert was all amazing. Obviously being a steak house the steaks were top quality. However we were very cramped when we dined here, it was several months ago so would have been pre COVID. Although we were literally back to back with the guests behind us. Staff friendly and attentive, and would give it another go for sure.

One of the gems of Hove, Excellent service, fabulous food and wi derail wines. A perfect evening with family was had. Well recommend this restaurant.

Our first meal out since the stupid lockdown was relaxed and the service and food was first rate. The manager gave us great service, the steak was excellent and the chips were as good as any I've had.

Great meal, lovely service, and enjoyable atmosphere. We felt safe, they did a great job at adapting to the new social distancing and safety measures, without disturbing the atmosphere. Well done everyone and thank you for bringing some normality back!

All the meat is great & I especially like the Albondigas & the wonderful powerful Malbec wine. Not cheap but worth it, especially if Damien is there!

The three course meal was great value and would highly recommend, The options to choose from were all fantastic! I had the churrasquito for my main and my steak was cooked to perfection for how I like it! Staff were very friendly and very efficient. I will definitely be going back.

I've been here about 5/6 times now, and i don't think I've had a bad mouthful.The steaks have been amazing every time, we did try to add a sauce ones, but they're so tasty and well seasoned we didn't want to use the sauces (not that they were bad mind).The starters of chorizo and black pudding are great, but the wife's favourites are the cheese rolls with Stilton sauce.The Mendoza Malbec is always a great shout as well, so smooth and tasty, annoyingly i'm usually driving so the wife gets to enjoy those more than myself.Will always use as a go to place with visitors or a special occasion.

Lovely ambience...a bit expensive for what was delivered on our plates although very nice. My sirloin steak could have been better, the fat on edge wasn’t cooked and my steak was barely warm....2 cherry tomatoes rolling around the plate with a tiny finger sized piece of watercress nothing else! You have to order sides on top of the price of steak. The sweet potato fries were ok not a lot in the cup sized dish. We would return but would probably send food back if it happened a second time! Make sure you have enough money to make sure you can order more food if your hungry as a normal steak is pretty expensive.

This has to be among my favourite all time places to eat. The food is always extremely good quality, tasty and well prepared. The staff are amazing and never fail to recognise us, remember our preferred table and even the wines we tend to like (and so give helpful suggestions to try new ones). If they recommend a wine it will be worth it. This place never fails. For that reason peak evenings it will be busy so book, or if you can go for a late lunch and enjoy the atmosphere.

Went here as a party of 4 and we all had a brilliant evening. The steaks are up there with some of the best I’ve had. The meal from start to finish was fantastic. Well worth a visit if you want a decent variety of steaks.

We booked in advance to visit this restaurant during our short break to Brighton/Hove and enjoyed it very much.We sat perched on higher chairs at a small table at the front of the restaurant, the service was attentive and helpful, there was plenty of choice and some sensible advice about wines too. We had a sharing board of steak for two and that was a really good option for us. Plenty of ways to vary this too with dressings and accompaniments. We did enjoy it so very much, it was a popular venue and our pudding was tasty too - flambe banana and ice cream. A taxi arrived in no time to whisk us back to our hotel. A great evening. Thank you.

Had a lovely meal here with my family to celebrate a recent birthday and I really can't fault the establishment in any way what so ever. The food was excellent, service impeccable, prices reasonable, ambience spot on and food delightfully presented however that said and done there was something lacking that makes me question if I'd come back for another visit which I can't explain and my family all also feel the same.

Simply the best steak in town. Been here few times with my friends, oh they love meat. and they love latinoamerica.

We were they by a friend's recommendation about their 'tira de Ancho' steak board (rib eye spiral cut ) and was probably the best I ve tried ever . We will be back for the famous Argentine meat experience sharing board next time , wine from salta is better than Mendoza a good advise by manager. We will back soon . Gracias

You do put down a bit of money here (as you do with steak) but the steaks are amazing! The sharing one with four different cuts of steak is great to share, and is plenty of food for both.

We went here for Lunch and they staff offer us to go for 3 course meal and get a free glass of wine on the house , empanadas for starter , I had churrasquito Argentina and my father Chicken millanesa for only £19 . Really good quality and value for money . Excellent wine list too

Me and my partner came for our anniversary we were met with a warm welcome by Gabor who made sure the whole evening was perfect. We started with calamari and empanadas, which led perfectly in to our main courses. We chose Argentinian Meat Experience which is four different cuts and they were cooked to perfection. ( ribeye was my favourite). We were drinking Malbec de Potrero which matched our food perfectly! . Can’t wait to come again and definitely will recommend to friends.

A lot of people recommend this place, but they must have no idea what a steak truly is.

We arranged a meal for six at this restaurant to catch up with friends. It is gets busy quickly, so we booked a few weeks in advance. I found the restaurant nice inside, I did think that the tables were a little close together (there was a group of eight next to us) so it was rather close. The food was good, we had the Calamari as a starter. It was perfect.

Me and my partner come here all the time, absolutely love food and the service! Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Having read very positive reviews about this restaurant we decided to give it a try and I’m so glad we did. On entering it was clear there was an energy about the place not often seen these days, we were shown up to our table on the first floor where Paola looked after us very well indeed, she could not have done more on a busy Saturday night. We both had burgers which we enjoyed very much but I must admit our appetites suffered as we had made the mistake of a quite substantial lunch earlier!

Had a lovely table in a quieter area at the back for a birthday celebration. Service was excellent, as were the wines and the food. All three of us ordered fillet steak and it came as ordered (rare and medium). The place has a lovely atmosphere, we will be visiting again soon

Had heard good reports about the restaurant so thought i'd give it a try. It did not fail. The Steak was one of the best i've had in many a while. Cooked to Mid rare as requested and so tender and full of flavour. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Give it a go you won't be dissapointed.

A fantastic meal, made better by the very friendly service. Not the cheapest steaks in town but they're cooked to perfection and taste superb, You definitely get what you pay for!

First visit here and it did not disappoint. We all had steaks and they were as good as expected. It was the extras that made the meal experience. We tried most of the starters and they proved to be a perfect intro to the main steak event. Washed down with Malbec at sensible prices. Well worth a visit if you adore meat :-)

This ranks as one of the best steakhouses that I have visited.

We had a table reserved 7pm. Place was already busy. As soon as we stepped inside we were greeted by the friendly staff. Service excellent. Food unbelievably gorgeous. We went for the Argentinean experience platter for 2. All steaks great portions. Chips go for the hand cut ones. Seasoned just right. Decent side salad too. Only reason I gave it a 9 instead of 10 was the tables for 2 in the middle walk way were too small. But otherwise I would recommend totally.

Everything is to a high standard and would definitely come back again. Great selection of sides and a fantastic drinks menu. Can't wait to come back to Hove

Simply put - best steak in Brighton and Hove. The staff are amazing, really friendly and attentive. The steak is out of this world! We both had a fillet and shared a combination of sides. Just try the creamed corn!

Me and my girlfriend took my parents here on Friday night. The waiters were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered 2 of the 'Argentine Meat Experiences' which gives you 4 different steaks, rump, ribeye, sirloin and fillet.

We visited yesterday for our wedding anniversary. Staff friendly & attentive. The food is very good, portions are very good. The banana flambe for dessert is very good. Will visit again.

We are coming here every month since the open 3/4 years ago - always consistent and good quality and is probably the best steak in town - the Amex is the best dish in Hove for sure, good value for money, you pay what u get.4 cuts if Arguie beef (fillet, sirlion, rib eye& rump) There is always a good atmosphere with locals celebrities and friendly staff. We came here with a group of 25 to celebrate my b-day, we have a private party upstairs the restaurant was pack downstairs too on a Wednesday. I was worry about service for the amount of guest but everything was perfect . Steaks cooks to perfection and lucky I had my picture with Bruno that was there eating too!! It's now my favourite restaurant ever! Thank you for the lovely night. We are coming. Back soon for the best steaks in Sussex.

My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant for our date night. We got the 4 steak sharing dish (sirloin, ribeye, fillet and rump) and it was amazing! Cooked to perfection and such a yummy variety. Service was brilliant too!

We had heard a number of great reports on the food and service at LatinoAmérica, so a group of us decided to book the restaurant for dinner before heading on to a night out in Hove.

My wife and I paid our first visit to this restaurant on Friday evening. The menu offers a great choice of food. We opted for the sharing steak platter and we were not disappointed. The steaks were wonderful, and it was nice to try four different steaks in one sitting. Dessert again was out of this world and I may have found a new favourite beer in the Argentina beer. Food was reasonably priced and very good value for money. We will be back.

We come here one a month for the Argentine meat experience (share steak platter ) best in the area and good value for money in Terms of quantity & quality. Service always very efficient and friendly. To finish the evening with have the last glass of wine next door in cafe malbec . Thank you we keep recommending it !

The place looks good and until our food came I thought we were in line a decent meal. Is the first time I have seen rib-eye more expensive than sirloin but convinced myself that it is an Argentinian thing. I had ordered the small sirloin rare with baked sweet potato side and she had ordered the first of their Specials:-

If you fancy a steak this is an excellent choice. Very good quality, reasonable prices and friendly service. Recommended.

We visited with a group of friends. We had a nice meal. We love Gaucho restaurants and this is a good imitation of the same but roughly about half the price.

The owners first bought me to this restaurant (being a Brighton fan) but great food keeps bringing me back. This time with my wife, son and mother we all has the Argentine meat experience which is to share between 2. A decent piece of fillet, rib eye, sirloin and rump steak served with a good salad including palm hearts that I've never tried but is really nice. The meat however was a revelation. With my wife and son having theirs medium rare and mum and I having it rear the opportunity to compare these different cuts was brilliant and comparing medium rare to rare and tasting the difference was fabulous. All 4 of us ended up with a different favorite (mine was the rib eye). It was brilliant and came after all three while you wait options and the an empanadas - 2 small pasties - one chicken and one cheese and spinach.

Went on a Saturday night, luckily made a reservation because it’s a popular spot! Ate downstairs, but they also have a 2nd floor called the Cafe Malbec where they serve tapas & wine.

Food great, trial platter for 2 with fillet, rump, ribeye and sirloin was more than enough with the 2 side dishes. Plenty of staff on a hand who all rotated around the tables but was never asked the same question twice by the mix who looked after us.

I went there with my family by recommendation after tried the lomito steak sandwich @ cafe Malbec next door I think same company’s tapas bar ,on the day before and it was a real beef feast , we had the Argentine meat experience , 4 cuts of Argentine meat cooked to perfection .

Lovely Food, Good Service and Good Vibe. Tried this restaurant on chance and was perfect for a night out as a couple. Steaks were delicious and service was brilliant.

Top meal, myself and my husband eat here on the Saturday evening and omg, the steak we both had was amazing, waitress was so helpful and the whole atmosphere was top notch. defo going back.

I live in Spain so it is difficult for an Argie grill here in the UK to compete. However, 11 people eating lunch? Only one (non Spanish speaking), member of staff. Nice meat - just nice. Presented in a very European way, not Argentinian.

I went with to Latinoamerica with my wife and three kids and we had a wonderful time. Our kids ate milanesas and my wife and I tried the "vacio" flank steak with chips; and was superb!!

Me and my partner visited on a sat night. They were super busy but we managed to get a table for 8.30pm. Right from the moment we walked in the door we know we were going to enjoy it. Our waitress was lovely, the table next to us were recommending the food and there was a lively vibe to the place.

Had a lunch here with a pal and we were very happy with the quality of the food and the excellent value. We chose from the fixed-price menu and paid the £3 supplement for the Argentinian steak option (which was tender and perfectly cooked) but even so the whole meal only cost £17.50 each including a superb glass of Malbec wine! Our waitress (or do I have to say waitperson in these politically-correct days?) was charming, polite and very efficient. Will certainly return for dinner soon! It would be good to experience the evening atmosphere. Many thanks to all!

The familly dropped in for the first time on Saturday evening. The tables are quite packed in but the whole place was buzzing with happy eaters.

We have been here couple of times and have never been disappointed! Steak were tender, succulen and flavourful! Table by the window watching people is really ideal! Best steak in town!

I have been here several times. Always great food and attention I must say! I always go for the Argentinian Experience however I have tried many other dishes in this place and are all exquisite. I recommend as a family restaurant and also perfect for a date! They also own the Malbec Cafe (Another review on the way) where you can get the perfect wine to accompany your meal if desired! Will be visiting again soon.

Probably the best fillet strak I have had anywhere. The quality of the meat was superb. Coupled with the fact that my medium rare steak was cooked perfectly. A rare combination these days.

It was our first visit to this popular restaurant and we weren’t disappointed. From the time we were greeted at the door by the manager, to the friendly and attentive staff and lovely decor and ambience. The menu is extensive with plenty of choices for all. We had some olives and cheese balls with a delicious Stilton sauce while we waited to decide what we were having. Starters were calamari and empanadas that melted in your mouth. For mains we chose the Argentinian meat experience for 2 which did not disappoint in any way and were all cooked to perfection medium rare. The flavours and accompanying sauces were amazing. We had a salad and sweet potatoe chips, Russian salad and mushrooms with spinach as sides. All of which were very good. We chose pancakes and ice cream with baileys with an accompanying laboram dessert wine which had a beautiful flavour. The Malbec red wine we had with the meal was fantastic. The food was amazing, staff very helpful and the restaurant, packed. Check out the menu online in advance. We highly recommend a visit soon.

Online booking didn’t go through to restaurant... but seated quickly! But sad to say that’s the ONLY thing that came quickly!! Waiting and still waiting for over an hour for food (£58 meal I must add)... but they have given us a free bottle.... but we’re still waiting and I’ve almost done a bottle of Pino Noir on my own. Sorry to say but before I’ve even tried the food I would not recommended (wow... delayed the review after speaking to the manager)

Once again the food, service and the atmosphere is second to none. Plenty of Restuarants here in Hove but this is by far the best.

I have been to Latino America on several occasions and this visit was just as good as the first. Exceptional steak, perfectly cooked and beautiful flavours. Very attentive service without being over bearing. We always go for the Argentine meat experience and it is consistently outstanding. Having eaten at a few other well known steak restaurants in Brighton and Hove I would say with confidence that this is by far the best of them all, in my opinion. Can not recommend highly enough.

I visited Latinoamerica recently for dinner, and as a vegetarian in a steak house I felt completely at home. The menu options available for me all looked great - I went for the gnocchi with the four cheese sauce, and it was amazing! Our waiter Gabor was fantastic, very charming, and gave us a perfect wine recommendation for our food.

The 3 of us had a most amazing meal just before Christmas. We had starters, mains and dessert, an excellent red wine to go go with it. This is a restaurant for carnivores, and for people with a good appetite. The staff was very helpful when we were selection our meals, explaining the dishes so everyone could get their preferred selections. The staff is very professional, and they know their wines as well. We will definitely go there again. For the meals we got (excl drinks) the price is mid range, but the quality is in top.
