Las Fuentes in Croydon

Went mid afternoon for late lunch. COVID rules were being followed. Attentive, friendly service, had lots of nice tapas including savoury pancakes, paella and some sangria cava, lovely.

Microwaved food service not very good staff miserable this is not a tapas resturant and deffinately not Spanish resturant like a staff canteen, old men just drinking and swearing will not visit again what a dump

So called spanish tapas bar!!! Run by portugese and waiters from s.america who dont speak english, service diabolicle, food microwaved and tasteless. Had better food and service in gresey joes cafe, total let down,also its more like a pizza express than an authentic tapas bar

No words to describe my visit, lovely food , very friendly staff very attentive, my first visit after lockdown we will back again 100% felt very safe with the rules the put In place . Thank you all

Visited with friends, service terrible waitress couldnt understand english abd got order wrong, breaks all covid tier 2 rules, groups just in for drinks no food not from same household no social distancing authorities need to check this place out

We weren’t welcomed as soon as we arrived, no one approached our table, we werent served or acknowledge at all by any of the staff. We had to call someone over.. the manager spoke to us disgustingly when we asked to move tables and he told us ‘it’s your problem if you want to move everyone will want to move’ he was extremely aggressive and rude and would not recommend.After he stormed off from the table we still weren’t given menus or asked if we wanted a drink and it had been 30 minutes. People who arrive after us were served and we decided not to wait any longer. When we got up to leave the manager didn’t acknowledge or apologise for his rudeness and walked straight pass us. APPALLED BY THE SERVICE!

I arrived about 8.o clock on a Monday night and I was attended very nice they took me to the table and fantastic the food was nice the service was good and I will be back soon. The staff are doing a good job.

I’ve been a few times here in the last 3 years and what I love of this place is the atmosphere. Modern, spacious and bright.It is known that they change management a couple of times lately and honestly, they lost a bit...The atmosphere is the same, I also love the music they have, yesterday there were playing Gipsy Kings which reminds me of my childhood.The staff has improved, I have to admit, the waiter and waitress were very polite, professional and nice.The food, oh dear, I’m sorry but lost a lot of points. I genuinely think that the chef is just new to his job or he never cooked Spanish before. I think what was missing to the dishes was the experience, the Spanish touch. I think the ingredients just added it without amalgamation.The price also has increased a lot and for that food is not worthy.

Not enough Social Distancing Measures - won’t be back until this is addressed. Visited on a Saturday night so knew it would be busy but even with some tables removed, this restaurant had too many tables and there was not enough space in between them. Food was ok. Came out very quickly when we did eventually order and most of it was decent. Beef skewer ordered medium, came out rare. Spicy mushrooms were swimming in oil. This place used to be so good but unfortunately since the refurb is very very noisy and service is inconsistent.

We found a long hair in our Patatas Bravas, when calling the restaurant, the manager was unbelievably rude and arrogant. No apology at all. He told us to go back to Just Eat and it wasn’t his problem! Just Eat do not cook and wrap the food... We had to call numerous times asking for a refund and after 3 phone calls, we were told we had to drive to their restaurant in order to get a refund which is disgraceful.Still no refund received or even an apology.We were also accused of being in the their restaurant last week complaining about having hair our the food, we haven’t eaten inside the restaurant since it has been renovated (and trust me we won’t ever be back now) so clearly this happens regularly! On the plus side, if you want to floss your teeth whilst eating patatas bravas I’d definitely recommend!

I’ve eaten here twice in the last ten days, a Wednesday and a Saturday evening. Both times the food has been fantastic and the service good, the portions were large and prices were good. A great place.

cold atmosphere not a warm tapas bar it used to be, staff miserable, some of the food was microwaved, shame as this used to be a good night out, the new resturant is terrible other Tapas bars much better, wont visit again

My partner is Spanish and we’ve tried several Spanish restaurants in the area. We both agreed the food was awful, probably the worst we have ever been to. Bland and tasted microwaved, not fresh at all. We tried their Selsdon branch too and it was equally bad. Surprisingly busy considering it’s not great, and so loud In there too. Finally the waiter was pretty grumpy and basically told us we had ordered too much food for our table so prevented us from ordering more rather than seating us at a larger table initially or encouraging us to save the order for later. It’s like it was an inconvenience we had ordered so much...

Most of the food wasn’t fresh and you could tell it was warmed up in a microwave! Two out of the six dishes were fresh. Not what you expect for £60 worth of tapas!

Visited as a birthday treat. Had previously eaten here a few times before and very much enjoyed the experience however it was completely different. Food wasn't up to standard and the waitress wasn't friendly at all, she sounded very unenthusiastic. Some of the food was cold which we mentioned but was dismissed. The prices also seem to have gone up.

went with a couple of friends had some wine and a couple of dishes we like to order some dishes wish took 30 mins to arrive then chat over a drink then order more food but the patatas bravas we ordered was really horrible it seemed like it had been heated up from day before so we mentioned it when he took away the plates we asked for another drink which was served then the Manager came and said we had to leave as we had been in there over 1.45 hours and that was Government covid guidelines , when we protested no-one had mentioned this not even the waiter when we booked in or when we booked on the phone and a couple of ladies on the next table were already eating when we arrived and were still there had also not been told about the times he said yes you were told and they are your governments rules and if we didn't leave he would call the police which he did ! I've been going there for over 20 years and I will never go back after being treated like that.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night, we pre-booked and were seated in good time. Bit of confusion with our booking as they could not find it but we got there in the end. We ordered a skewer & 3 side dishes to share between 2 of us.Service was slow, we never received any bread, no big deal but would of been nice to of been offered. Food took a good 50 minutes to arrive, little slow but we weren't in a rush.All of the food arrived hot and tasty, we enjoyed all the dishes and it seemed just the right amount of food to share. We ordered 2 drinks during our visit, after our food was delivered the service seemed to drop off, we weren't offered deserts/coffee etc but again we were too fussed.For 2 drinks each, 1 skewer and 3 side dishes was over £70! Little pricey but was enjoyed as a rarity, when we paid and left we then realised we had been charged nearly £8 service charge which is a pet hate of mine.Glad to see this place is open and busy again, will return but not regularly due to price!

After booking our table for 7 30 we arrived to be told no table was avaliable and to wait, when i asked where should we wait due to covid i was ignored whilst the manager greeted customers behind me and my companions, then guided them to seats. Not very covid free to stand by the door with others walking in next to you.Once we were seated we waited a good 30 mins for a drink and in this heat we were all gasping not to mention one of my companions is 7 months pregnant.By 8.30 we started asking any of the staff who walked by if they knew what was happening with our food? To which mostly we were ignored although a woman server did say the kitchen is flat out and theres nothing she could do. Not even an offer of a drink?By 8.45 we spoke to the manager briefly for 10 seconds until he walked off to have a horrendously horrible row on the restaurant floor with our waiter. I presumed that the order hadn't gone through or something? However nobody came over to us and told us and told us what was going on.At 9 some of our food came out however i will show you in the pics my mixed skillet was over done and the chorizo was so burnt i couldnt put my folk into it. My friends was cold but she ate it as she was hungry.I said to the waiter my skillet was black and burnt. The manager then came over took it away and then nothing. I sat there with nothing to eat?My companions plates were being cleared away when we said there was no calamari which we had already previously asked them for then they had the cheek to place some on the table after the plates were clear. It also looked like it had already been half eaten?We went to pay and i asked to speak to the manager to which i was told by the waiter hes busy with another unhappy customer but she hasnt got her food at least you had food so why complain?Then after an eternity i said to the manager all that had happened and that i hadnt eaten. He said i eill take the skillet off the bill what more do you want? I said an appology and the offer of something else would have been nice?He said he understands my points but hes not apologising.My companion said to him we waited an hour and a half for food to which he said no you havent and we said yes we have its 9.30 and we got here at 7 30. Have a look in youre book to which he said he knows what time we got here? Awfully awfully rude. Then he said its really busy so you must expect to wait then my companion said but we had to pre book, so you knew excactly how many people you were expecting? If you are not adequately staffed it is not the customers fault. In the ebd he would not admit to any fault apart from the burned skillet. I did say to him im really upset that i didnt eat and he said well dont pay the added service charge!! What a cheek to sneak in and add on service charge! Really expebsive and overpriced.The skillets are now 17 99 instead of 11.99 so they have just added on monies so youre not really getting any money from the eat out to help out?However the sangria was the only nice thing about my visit.Will not go back again, nor do i wish it on anyone else.The sister restaurent thst was in selsdon was excellent with its customers but its a shame that its had to close down and the purley branch is hell.I used to love coming here back in the day but greedy prices and poor customer service has really let it down.Such a shame!

Went for dinner and after 1 hour all we had been served was drinks and bread. The restaurant staff were running around like headless chickens so they were clearly busy - but management needs to address the problems as the food standard has deteriorated. Lots of dishes seemed to be swimming in lots of unnecessary oil.

The restaurant has recently undergone renovation and looks lovely and light, modern and airy. The staff were superb and I was very impressed with the covid precautions they were taking, staff were wearing masks, menus were single use, tables were well distanced and there were plenty of hand sanitisers for customers. As always, the food was delicious.

A very busy restaurant serving great tapas, with a good atmosphere, staff attentive even though they are so busy.

I went the other and restaurant was not very busy it was fine the staff very attentive food good service was good as starter I have calamares there were very nice and then I have chicken with garlic and butter with rice very good.and I will come back in the future.

The staff are clearly overworked here - after 20 minutes we had to ask to order, it was then difficult to get anyone's attention for any drinks. The food was good and all came quickly, no issues with the order.Each to their own but it's not somewhere if return to.

Have visited this establishment on and off for several years and certainly as good today as it was before the refurbishment. Relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere with tasty food. recommended.

I called and the restaurant does not take bookings for two people. A table came free about 10 minutes after arrival. Our food was good and reasonably priced.

The Purley branch of Las Fuentes had been closed for some time whilst the premises was extended. During this time my wife and I had visited the Selsdon Branch several times but we were pleased to see that our "local" was back in operation. On entering we realised that the establishment had increased in size and that the entire decor had been revamped. The results were very pleasing to both of us. Our host sat us at a window table and we were presented with a selection of menus. I chose the wine list and found that it was quite comprehensive, covering all tastes and pockets! I chose a very palatable red whilst my wife checked out the tapas menu to see if our favourites were there. They were and we were soon tucking in to our chosen meals. I am pleased to say that we both enjoyed the experience and that the service and food were excellent. We shall return.

4 of us went here to try out the tapas after their refurb, It was a weeknight (Tues) so the resuarant was very busy, I've heard it is at the weekend. This suited us as we were able to hat easily, all the dishes we chose came well presented & were very tasty plus the overall price when sp;it 4 ays very reasonable, will deinitly revisit.

I came to Purley to eat here with my 92 year old mother who paid the bill using her credit card. When her bill arrived she had been charged twice. I came back and went in to try and sort it out expecting just to be refunded immediately. Instead I was left hanging around and then told to come back after 6pm which is very convenient. So disappointed that such a Purley institution treats its regulars so poorly.

Big refurb last year, think I prefer the way it use to look but the food and staff are still great. All about the atmosphere, always make us feel welcome and consistent.

the atmosphere was lovely however check your bill before paying. after a lovely evening, we had to spend 15 min persuading a very stubborn Waitrose that we did not have what she claimed to serve us (not even a sorry after she saw her mistake...). Whatever recommendation we asked for, she immediately put on the bill and was unpleasant after although even things we never ordered did not come throughChorizo a bit burned but I like the crispy side of it. Octopus was lovely. Patatas Bravos slightly cold, spinach nice however it had a strong and powerful after fish taste.

Very lovely place. Food is delicious is very reasonably priced. Recommend this place for low key dinner on Friday or Saturday night

For me i'm not sure there's a better tapas restaurant in London! Great service and amazing dishes - make sure you order the lomo a la plancha!

We five enjoyed an extensive choice of food and wines. Service not the quickest but very friendly and the food well worth waiting for. Leave space for the scrumptious deserts.

Recently refurbished and looks good. Enjoyed the authentic Tapas style menu and food was high quality and reasonably priced. Lively atmosphere - gets quite loud. Staff are friendly although service can be a bit erratic when the place is very busy - which it was when we visited.

The food is delicious - fresh, great quality and generous portion sizes. However this is the second time I have visited this restaurant and on both occasions I found the service to be very slow.

The restaurant has recently been refurbished, so the bar area is now on the opposite side to where it used to be and has been sectioned off. Decor is less ‘Spanish’ looking and has a semi-industrial felt to it. Acoustics aren’t great - so be prepared to shout rather than speak at a normal volume at your table, especially on weekends! Unisex toilets are interesting, and could probably do with being cleaned more often; they’re also a little cramped.

Another lovely meal, combination of fish, prawns, ribs and liver, freshly cooked, served hot! Good service, not too keen on uni sex toilets, nonetheless they were clean. Will be back, monk fish, prawns and potatoes delicious along with liver. Deserts and extensive drinks menu.

We were a bit cautious of coming here after reading some of the reviews but had a lovely evening. The food was delicious and the service was great. Would not hesitate in going back.

My partner and I nipped into Las Fuentes for a last minute early dinner and it did not disappoint. We had heard good things from the Selsdon branch so were keen to try our local. Will 100% be returning; the service, food, atmosphere were all brilliant. There was a level of familiarity between the staff and the people dining there that gave it a great vibe.

Second visit in last couple of months. The food here is fantastic - the wait and service not so good. Very busy but don't accept booking for less than 10. When sat at table, Waiter informed us that would not take order yet as was backlog in the kitchen - perhaps another chef would help?! Sangria a little weak but great food - skewer kebabs, potatoes, mushrooms and all came out together. Desserts lovely too.

Sad to say you should take notice of all the bad reviews.

First visit to Las Fuentes since refurbishment. Still very happy with the food and service however they have taken away the Spanish authenticity with the new decor.

Although we have a very good evening overall, it was mainly the company, much less the food and restaurant. I was happy with the service but the food took a long while to be prepared. When it arrived, the food was not as delicious as some reviews claimed. I have to point out that the meat seemed to be better than the fish (being a pescatarian, I can only assume). Prices were correct but again, I was not a huge fan of the food.

The quality of the food is high standard and with the price so low makes a huge plus. It is always easy to find a table free, the place is big.

We love sea food and sadly the closure of the Cote D'Azur in South Croydon led us to revisit the recently refurbished Las Fuentes in Purley.

Have been visiting Las Fuentes with my wife for many years but haven't been for over a year. I must admit I had been put off by some negative reviews following the refurbishment of the restaurant. All I can say is that the food was as good as ever and service was fine. We will return soon. Perhaps some people just don't like change.

The refurbishments are finished and looks really nice, I do like how they have separated the bar area from the restaurant.

Las Fuentes has become a bit of a haunt. Still amazed that every time I go in these days, either the front of the building has gone or the bar has moved (again). always a great vibe here. nice tapas, nice wine. friendly and helpful staff, great people guests. broad age range.

There were 10 of us dining at this modern well designed quirky upbeat Spanish style restaurant.

On our second visit since the restaurant was refurbished we were happy to see that the bar area has now been enlarged. However overall it's still not as good as it used to be before they changed the layout. The food has also got more expensive as well, everything seems to costs a couple of quid more than it used to. Still the best restaurant in Purley, but really it's not as good as it used to be.

Almost 2hrs before sitting, I personally went into the restaurant to reserve a table for 8 and was told I didn't have to. Later, when we arrived to eat, we were placed at the very back of the restaurant-completely isolated and excluded from all the other diners and atmosphere. There were two empty tables of 8 further in. However, when I asked if we could be moved to one...I was told...they were reserved!!!

Been going to las Fuentes Purley for a long time. Went with friends last week, the refurbishment has taken away all its old charm. The food has gone downhill and is now very expensive. Service was good. The place is even noisier than before and the toilets are filthy. Won’t be going back in a hurry

Used to frequent this place before the refurbishment and was one of my favourite places to eat. Im pleased to say that that my opinion hasn’t changed. Great food, great atmosphere and great service.

Met friends in here for dinner. The place has been done up recently and there is much more space. The team there are friendly and very helpful. The food is typical "English" Spanish. What is disappointing is the toilets and having spent lots of time in Spain, they normally have very clean toilets. The toilets here were not as clean as I expected. I hope this is not the norm.

Used to be my local restaurant of choice for many years with great food and service but definitely no more!

The food was ok but not brilliant. Barman was Portuguese and when me and my pal were asking advice about wine he told us he does like wine and doesn't drink it.

Dined here with friends, had cod fish, monk fish, prawns and potatoes, lamb kebab skewer with polenta, prawns in garlic, ice cream and apple pie all delicious. Great atmosphere, a little noisy at times, but it's a lively place. Would come again, have been here three times this year already!

Service was very poor. Took 1 and half hours from arriving to food being served. Waiting staff were not interested in customer service at all, they were running around like headless chickens without any care or regard for paying customers' needs. Staff needed to be called over due to a lack of showing an interest in us as customers for basic service expectations such as taking our order and chasing for when the food would be ready. This I would not expect from a quality restaurant. The food itself was mediocre at best, and did not outweigh the poor service. Upon paying the bill, the waiter taking payment made no attempt to even acknowledge the negative experience my friends and I expressed, but instead made excuses rather than offering an apology, again showing the lack of basic customer service a reputable restaurant should be expected to offer. Overall, a disappointing experience and will never be dining here again.

I’ve been going to this tapas restaurant for years, it goes up and down but this was my first visit since the refurb. The old restaurant was getting grubby with sticky floors and needed a good clean and freshen up but the new look doesn’t tie in with Spanish tapas and I actually thought a temporary set up. I don’t like the new look, pipes out of ceilings and chip board bar which is too small and cramped. We had drinks at the bar and asked for a table in about 30 mins but you can’t do that, you have to ask for a table when you’re ready to sit down? They then ran out of wine we were drinking when we sat down. Food was ok and tasted fresh, I do think it’s changed a bit, the mushrooms and prawns were definitely different. We had a nice time, but more due to company we were with, restaurant is noisy but it always was, I thought bill was cheaper than previously.

Visited early one Saturday evening as we heard it got very busy and you couldn't book a table - we were so glad we did as there was a queue out the door by the time we left!!

This was our first visit to the newly re-opened Las Fuentes. The layout has changed into one large restaurant with both tapas and main courses on the same menu. You can only book a table for large parties so we had a drink at the bar whilst waiting for our table (about 40 mins on a Saturday night). The food was excellent with good sized portions. The restaurant was very busy and we did have to wait quite a while for our order to be taken. It was also very noisy, particularly after 10 p.m. when the music was turned up (for dancing?). Would recommend for the food but not if you want a conversation with your friends!

This was my 3rd visit to Las Fuentes, however it is the first since it has been renovated. I am happy to say that the food is still amazing, and now the interior is now so much nicer.

Modern looking fresh refurb. Great food with prompt attentive service. Very noisy though which spoilt the occasion as we couldn’t hear our own conversations. Overly loud groups.

Love the refurbishment, only ate there once before and vowed never again - this time loved the food, excellent service and atmosphere, will be returning next month for sure!

This is a restaurant we frequent 2/3 times a year, good place to take clients. After the dramatic refurb we thought we'd check it out, we turned up on spec. They no longer offer an a la carte menu, but check out the blackboard for specials you can still get a steak, a fact our initial waiter failed to mention. The food was nice enough, given we visited on a Friday lunchtime it was surprising how many items weren't available. 5 of us had starters and mains and soft drinks for £175. With the large glass frontage and the exposed ceiling it's a cross between eating in a car showroom/ municipal car park, it was cold too. All said and done it wasn't terrible, just underwhelming.

Refurb looks great, it is very modern, very different from what it looked like before, food was amazing and service was good and fast.

On hearing the restaurant had been refurbished my friends decided to check it out. I’ve not been in 6 years. You can’t book a table unless it’s for 10 or more. It was only the 3 of us. We got there at 730. We were told it would be a half hour wait so headed to the bar. We waited and waited. After asking countless times we were finally seated at 9.38pm. It is so loud with music in there you can’t hear each other talk. The food is still hit and miss and as soon as a plate is empty they whisk it away and start wiping the table while we were still eating. It’s very over priced for a tapas with no friendly atmosphere. I guess I’ll leave it another 6 years befor I go back.

I must say that the refurb must of cost thousands, and when I entered into the restaurant, the first night it opened,it felt COLD, no atmosphere, and when I looked up at the ceiling, well if they call that a finished job, then I’ll be asking for a refund, it took months and and months to

The refurb has helped create all the ambience of a school diner: sprawling & vibeless. The old veneer tables (which were somehow charming in the old establishment) have been reused and now look utterly dreadful!

After waiting months for our favourite restaurant to re-open, we found ourselves to be quite disappointed at what they've done with the place.

I must say take all the bad reviews seriously. It's become a joke of a tapas bar. One girl pretty much takes the orders organises the place and finally when she gets a minute takes your name (through gritted teeth) to get you a table. Got there early tonight. About 6.30. So there were quite a few tables free still took half an hour to get a table. Can't understand why. Last week we walked out as we got there after 8. We were told 20-30 minutes , an hour later there were still 5/6 names on her pad waiting.

Not impressed at all, the refurb seating plan is dreadful, tables so small you cannot even get your food on them, sitting on top of the table next to you!! Bar area is a joke, you stand there like a spare part. Very uncomfortable. Walk ins beware, you will be told table will be 10-20 mins, when its more like an hour. 1-10 will not be returning, oh yes food is good when you finally get to sit down

After reading online reviews about this restaurant, bearing in mind it has been extensively refurbished. I was presently surprised at the quality of food and the attentiveness how the staff was. The reception area was cramped but that will be overcome when the final phase of refurbishment takes place. Its typically Spanish, loud and full of life.

I have been to Las Fuentes a few times in the past and it was alsways pretty good. We thought we’d try it again after the refurb. First impressions, bar way too small for the amount of customers. Kind of organised chaos! You could get to the bar by leaning across the people that were sat on barstools, badly organised if you asked me.

We have been here numerous times but this was the first visit back since the refurb...….. first impression nice refurb although not finished. It was very cold in restaurant.

This has always been a very popular Purley venue and booking was usually necessary. The recent refurbishment has left it rather worse off in terms of decor and atmosphere. They’ve gone for the exposed ceiling and heating ducts look and opened up the space by removing walls and changing where the bar is. The attempts to retain a little of the old Spanish theme is hampered by pink guitars and guitars with Laurel and Hardy on them. The tapas is London prices at 6-8 pounds per dish until you realise that they are not really tapas as I understand it. Each of the dishes I ordered, meatballs, chicken and mozzarella, baked eggs and chorizo, were all main course size . The special artichoke and peppers dish was swimming in oils and all the ones I had, had a great deal of the same tomato sauce giving them a fairly similar flavour. There was a distinct lack of garlic or chilli in any of them. The cheese is a great selection but enough for two or three. They did at least offer a very efficient service and were very friendly. We ended up taking some of ours home. Value for money is good but I prefer the old place which felt cosy, noisy and well, Spanish

This is my favourite restaurant, its just had a refurb. wow ! looks great, food still as great as ever . Staff are so friendly, eager to please and make your meal one to remember. off there again tomorrow for my 3rd visit since its reopened.

This was our favourite restaurant and we couldn’t wait for it to reopen. Unfortunately the new decor and layout is cold, soulless and sterile. Gone are the Spanish tiles, warm lighting and cosiness that made you think of balmy evenings in Andalucia. Now it’s just like eating in Pizza Express.. Food was good in parts but the mussels were completely devoid of flavour. I thought there was something wrong with my tastebuds but my husband took a mouthful, looked confused and said ‘these taste of absolutely nothing’. Very odd. Really expensive too - one shared plate to start, three shared next (so two each in total) , a bottle of house red and a beer came to £70 not including tip.

Las Fuentes has been closed for a long time for extensive refurbishments, we noticed it had recently opened and booked for a casual lunch.

I can't believe that a good restaurant has reopened and can be so bad.

Came her pre-Christmas just as it has re-opened for lunch. Hadn't booked a table but got a table after about 10 minutes of waiting. Refurbishment is great, more spacious, cleaner and brighter.

I am so pleased Purley tapas is back open. I have been a customer for over 15 years and after a great re-furb it defiantly has its sparkle back! Food was great and the menu feels a little bigger. The service was good too, Looks like we have our regular favourite haunt back!!

Was searching for a restaurant whilst in Purley. Restaurant looks good but no information in window or website of food drinks or prices only the name tells you its Spanish.

Arrived and most people sat with coats on. Asked for a warmer table but freezing in all places! Not asked if we wanted a drink for 25 minutes. Told 3 members of staff we were ready to order and all were rude and kept saying someone would come. In the end we walked out and went to the Italian next door which was warm and service friendly and welcoming.

This wonderful Tapas Bar has been closed for refurbishment most of 2018 so I’m a little confused how people have posted reviews.

Great venue, service, food choice, big enough for a large gathering. Reasonable prices . Extensive menu, parking nearby. Been going years. love it!

This place is always good. It is one of my favorite spots to eat with friends and family. We like the atmosphere, service and of course the food.

I have visited Las Fuentes numerous times and it is incredible. The food, atmosphere, staff, service and pricing is all fantastic. The staff work their butts off and never disappoint. The food is fairly priced, and always really tasty. The atmosphere is very authentic and buzzing, great place for young people.

One of my favourite restaurants. I visited with the family but also great on a Saturday night. Great atmosphere, music and of course food. Service is always amazing and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I found this place based on reviews I have read. We went to celebrate my wife's special birthday. It was mid-week evening which I thought it might not be so busy, but I was wrong. The waiter choose the place for us to sit in the middle of the crowd, whilst I was thinking of the sit that we can enjoy time together as a couple. So, I asked the waiter to whether he can relocate our seating elsewhere and not in the crowd. He kindly took us to the next seating banks where there is no crowd - perfect!

Traditional Spanish flavors, but it just gets too busy and noisy. Especially on Friday/ Saturday / Sunday. Space wise it's far from small, but they are just trying to put through as much traffic as possible, so the tables are very close to each other also seating so many people that the overall feeling is for being cramped and with people literally on top of you which unfortunately spoils the fantastic food they offer. And the food is actually excellent. they use genuine Spanish products where they can, the recipes are also great. The meat is fantastic and prepared to perfection.

This was our last visit before the refurbishment and my husband and I are wondering where we are going to go now. But looking forward we look forward to returning good luck las Fuentes.

We had a selection of tapas/drinks on an early Saturday afternoon. The food was of a poor quality, lacking taste, and we had awful service even though there was around 10 staff members in there... Not a good experience...

Not a good meal, not worth the money. Bad table service and attitude from waiters. Food was greasy and didn't taste great. Will not be coming here again.

This has been a feature of the Purley eating scene for many years.

This is not real Spanish food, quality and taste below than average, only the restaurant's interior itself feels Spanish.

We came here last night and quite enjoyed our experience.
