Food was fantastic. One of the best Bangla cuisine outside the subcontinent I have had. The entire team was very polite and courteous. Hasan was awesome.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at , and I must say it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I stepped foot in the restaurant, we was greeted with impeccable service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent!!! We were both blown away by the exceptional flavors and quality of the dishes. Each dish was prepared with utmost care and attention to detail. From the aromatic spices to the perfectly cooked meats, every bite was a burst of culinary delight. Not only was the food exceptional, but it was also great value for money. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the high quality of food that was served. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied and content, knowing that we had received great value for the money we spent. Overall, our experience at Lalbagh was nothing short of amazing. The combination of excellent service, exceptional food, and great value for money makes it a place I would definitely return to. My favourite curry house in this area!

Visited for the fist time recently, excellent dishes, all very tasty, good service, nice location with car park. Some dishes slight pricey, but this is the best Indian resto I've been to in a long while. Will be back to eat in or takeaway.

A genuinely wonderful restaurant. We've been here in the evening for the tasting menu and during the day for a family anniversary celebration with small children, and it doesn't disappoint. The black mutton and rhubarb fish are highlights for us. We will be back again and again.

We just booked a table at this restaurant for our anniversary dinner and have arrived to find there's no parking available with the only option to park in a wet and muddy street. To say we're beyond livid is an understatement, why accept bookings if you can't accomodate your customers?

Totally exceptional. Lalbagh has clearly considered every facet of the restaurant experience and makes an effort to deliver the very best. We were incredibly impressed with the attention that was given to each dish, from the very top with the starters that had a certain amount of drama to them, to the desserts that were quite fun. The mains were well portioned, well seasoned and obviously skillfully envisioned. The staff were courteous and warm, and the little (free!) touches such as the hand wipes, orange slices and evening chocolate tipped the scale to make the dining experience really quite luxurious. My final thought is that contrary to my expectations in Cambridgeshire, this experience was really well priced.

Was in Cambridge for a night travelling through and felt like an Indian meal. Fantastic service and out of this world food with so much flavour. Well worth the visit.

Superb food, service and atmosphere.

We booked on Lalbagh's website. Very easy. Sadly our friends couldn't join us but all the couples were offered tables for four on Sunday night. I thought this was a nice touch and we felt as if we could spread out and enjoy our meal without having to sit on top of the next table which sometimes happens in successful restaurants. We had a starter and a main. My salmon was delicately flavoured but my husband's onion bhajis were deliciously spiced and perfectly cooked. He had a good sized portion of four for the money. He then had a plain Chicken Tikka with boiled rice but the chicken was excellent. Great taste. And I had a Dakeshwari Lamb Shank. Excellent value and another goodly sized portion - so much so, I took half home and had it for lunch this evening with what was left of the boiled rice. We'll certainly be back. I love well cooked, well spiced food and Lalbagh certainly provide this. And the serving staff were perfect too.

First time at this restaurant. Food was stunning. Such a diverse menu from the normal curry house menu. Rhubarb sea bass to die for! Service was excellent. They were very helpful in helping us choose. We could have eaten everything on the menu. Recommend you go. You won't be disappointed!

Me and my partner have been here many times and always enjoy it. The food and service is excellent. We highly recommend the piña colada and dessert gulab jamen! This is my favourite Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant.

Went for our Anniversary dinner and was not disappointed- the service was excellent and all the staff clean and presentable compared to other indian restaurants i have visited around Cambridgeshire- all the food was well presented and i have too say the very best we have had in a very long time compared to other restaurants with the chicken madras outstanding . Well done to the chief and staff who go that extra mile to make this gem of a restaurant stand out from the rest . Thank you for our anniversary desert on the house . Well done all .

By far the vest Indian meal I have ever had and lots of choice on the menu -including some dishes that I haven't seen before. Great to find you are open on a Monday evening too when so many other places are not.

Good protions for six people. The customer service is top-notch, with a friendly and accommodating staff. The restaurant maintains a very clean and inviting space. In terms of pricing, it offers good value compared to other local restaurants. Convenient car parking is available. Additionally, when faced with a last-minute request for a party of six, they immediately accommodated it without any issues.

The only place I would travel out for some Bangladeshi Indian food! Never been disappointed with any of their items on the menu. The quality and taste of their food is spot on, not only tastes divine but the detail in presentation makes you salivate! The only restaurant where I can actually taste the love in their food.

Lovely food in a nice location - be aware food and drink is 10% more than the menu prices if you are a party of 5 or more, so not suitable for larger groups - ideal for individuals, couples and small groups of 4 or less who will order less food and drinks and spend less than larger groups. Strange policy but it’s on the small print at the bottom of their menu.

Nice night out. Food wasn't quite up to the usual standard tonight which is unusual for this place. Other indian restaurants are usually hit and miss but this one is typically consistently good.

Booked a table online for 5 adults and 1 baby. Requested a highchair and even rang to double check they would be ok with a 1 year old attending. Things were ok to start with but halfway through our meal the waiter came over and told us "we don't like that" regarding the few blueberries baby had dropped on the floor. We sort of thought he was joking, but he repeated it so the parents had to stop eating to get on their hands and knees and clean up the floor. Obviously they would have tidied up at the end of the meal anyway without the need for rudeness or interruption of their meal. Can't recommend.

Limited vegetarian options but great for meat. The paneer was not cooked and the sauce had no flavour but presented with two pieces of chillies. Service - one waiter was attentive but the rest could be more communicative.

Absolutely amazing food, and great service. As soon as we came in we sat in a comfy little lounge area and had beers from the bar as our table was prepared. All the food came fairly quick and piping hot and was just absolutely delicious. Definitely one of , if not my top Indian restaurant

Dined there with friends after reading they had won a regional award. Was not disappointed as the food was excellent and one of the tastiest Indian meals we have had. The menu had a wide choice including several fish dishes. Will definitely visit there again.
