Lalahan Grill and Meze Bar in Wiltshire

This was a buffet style place with a very limited range. You could keep returning to the buffet but we really didn't want to because the food was decidedly average. Decor is... odd and the staff were lovely.

Excellent food and service, with generous portions across both courses. The sharing Meze starters were delicious, as were all the mains.

Le repas était très bon et le service agréable. Néanmoins nous sommes tombés un soir de travaux, apparemment la route est bloquée depuis quelques temps et le restaurant en pâtit. L'ambiance n'était pas au rendez-vous, la musique un peu forte, et du fait du peu de clientèle ils n'avaient pas préparé le dessert que nous souhaitions (baklava). Nous comprenons parfaitement mais pour ces raisons nous ne pouvons pas mettre 5. La nourriture était très bonne en tout cas.

A large group of us ate here, in the garden out the back, and it was really lovely evening. The food was delicious - including for vegetarians, vegan and keto - and the waiters were very friendly. We lingered long over our dessert and coffee and weren't hurried at all. Highly recommend.

On a weekend away in Salisbury, we were looking for a place for an early supper. Lalahan was recommended and since we like Mediterranean food, but there being no such resturants where we live, it seemed an obvious choice. It also proved an excellent one. We rolled up just after it opened and were shown into the garden. It was a warm Saturday evening, so outdoor dining was the obvious choice. We started with the mixed starters, and then moved onto the chef's special for two. Helpings were generous, and the quality of the food excellent. We ate it all. It was a bit of an effort but it was just so good. We almost couldn't move afterwards! Service was excellent and friendly. Even as early as five in the evening, there was no shortage of patrons. This place is popular, and deservedly so. Would strongly recommend a visit.

My husband & I had a lovely evening, last night. Very tasty dinner, generous portions, good menu. Good value & the wine was very reasonable too. The staff were friendly and professional. We ate inside & then had drinks outside in the pretty garden. Lovely Turkish music, it was like being on a Mediterranean holiday. Will definitely return when visiting Salisbury next time.

We booked an early evening dinner as we had children and as we had a dog, sat in the garden at the rear of the restaurant. It is a lovely setting and the owner, Suna was most polite and helpful. Drinks were ordered and delivered quickly. Menus reviewed and food ordered and that also came out in good time, albeit they were not busy this early. The food was lovely and the accompanying salads we very good. Great place to eat.

Food is freshly made, good size of potion. It’s also good choices on menu about bbq food. I have been in Turkish restaurants lots of time also lived in Turkey in many parts, so this place is where to be for good food.

Went for dinner with my family and I’m not sure if we caught them on an off day but the service was terrible, took 45 mins get our drinks and even then we had to ask where the beer was, only to be told they’d ran out and didn’t come back to tell us, I assume they were going to think we’d forget about it Missed some starters off and then when we asked where they were they brought out the wrong stuff. My dinner had made me feel quite ill, I had been sick when I got home but no one else had the same issue so could be something unrelated but still a coincidence We were the only people in there so we struggled to understand why the service was so bad

Nice restaurant situated nearby the railway station. Food was hot, tasty and well presented and was plentiful. We had Cacik ( plus complimentary bread to start) and the Chef's special kebab to share for the main. Service was excellent and efficient and staff very pleasant. Only 2 things stopped me giving this 5 stars. We were requested when taking the starter to retain the cutlery for the main course, with no explanation as to why. No problem as such with this but it seemed a little odd. Also the main didnot come with chilli sauce which I requested and was promptly provided with but it was sweet and not at all hot and was, presumably, straight from a sweet chilli sauce bottle and nothing like any other Turkish restaurant provided chilli sauce.

Friendly staff and the food was delicious. We shared the meze for 2 and then a lamb kebab which was more than enough food for us. Can be a little noisy when busy but great decor and ambiance.

6 of us went and we all had the Chefs Special for 2 x3. All I can say is OMG! Food was amazing well worth the money, hospitality was great, service was excellent, time waited for food was pretty good restaurant was busy but not too packed. Decoration from outside doesn’t do this place justice, interior wall designs are amazing and very cultural. Overall 5* rating

We've visited the restaurant a few times, warm summer days sitting outside with a sharing platter and some cold drinks is a perfect setting for a lovely afternoon, if eating inside you'll sink into the atmosphere of the decor all together making a lovely ambience to the meal. We've tried various dishes, all beautifully cooked, adequate portions and presented, staff are friendly and welcoming and they really are attentive to getting you seated and comfortable. Efficient with repeat drinks orders and also check backs to ensure you're happy with the food. Overall, I'd highly recommend as you'd not be disappointed with the whole experience.

I really enjoy lamb dishes and was so pleased to find this on Lalahan. I have subsequently ordered a few meals and found the team very professional, friendly and willing to go the extra mile! As a vegetarian, I sometimes struggle to find a veggie friendly Turkish restaurant. Lalahan had a lot of options for starters and main and everything was delicious. We ordered online and our food was delivered fast and still very hot, everything in different containers. I'm an absolute fan of baklavas and theirs were very good! El restaurante estaba tranquilo debido al clima covid actual y al ser un día laborable. La comida era buena, al igual que el servicio. Recomendaría esto y felizmente comería allí de nuevo. Precios muy razonables del menú (y 2 botellas de vino con una comida de 2 platos fue una ventaja adicional e inesperada). El entrante de Kalamar (calamar) era excelente, Filo con queso y perejil también muy sabroso. Cordero en el Kleftiko estaba tierno. Ambiente increíble y excelente servicio durante toda la noche. Personal amigable. Hermoso jardín en la parte de atrás también, este lugar es una joya escondida. En un grupo de 7 y todos recibimos nuestros entrantes / platos principales / pudines a tiempo y al mismo tiempo. Aprovechamos el plan de "comer fuera para ayudar" en esta ocasión, lo que hizo que fuera una velada muy razonable. Ya pedí comida para llevar aquí a precio completo y todavía la encuentro con una buena relación calidad-precio, ya que la calidad de la comida es fantástica.

Was passing through salisbury so rang a head to see if I could get a takeaway This was no trouble at all. Order was taken and when I arrived it was waiting for me. I had another twelve miles to travel before me and the family could get to eat it but the food was hot plentiful and so much better than fish and chips my other option.Unfortunately i am two far away for delivery or collection during lock down otherwise I would defiantly be sat here enjoying a hearty meal. I see it is open for takeaway but i am just to far away. As soon as I am able I will be treating myself.

My partner in dine and I have been trying to get a table at this restaurant on several previous trips to Salisbury. Imagine our delights as when we walked past it was open for lunch. We were welcomed warmly and given a nice table by the window. We took advantage of the much special menu, 3 courses for £7.95. The babaganoush was delicious as was the halloumi. FOr mains we had lamb shish (perfectly cooked) and moussaka (could have eaten the same again). Rice pudding for dessert wasn’t to my fancy, so I was offered a Prince of baklava instead (dense but light and tasty). This was all washed down with fresh mint tea. The food was fresh, delicious and perfectly cooked. We will go back the next time we are in Salisbury. Please give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed.

Calm, secluded atmosphere, out of the Arabian Nights, but not overdone. Excellent service. Superb food! Whitebait with soft, warm flatbread, delicate moussaka with freshly made salad, marvellously perfumed cold rice pudding...

Called in for an evening meal. Had not made a reservation but they were not busy so fitted us in. Very warm pleasant welcome. We had several drinks, a starter to share and a main course. I had lamb chops my son had a chicken kofte. Everything was delicious. Couldn’t fault any of it. Whole bill was £50. Would definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone.

Had a really lovely meal yesterday. Fresh salads, beautifully prepared dishes and friendly staff. Steaks bought sizzling to the table. Fabulous sharing platters to start. Would thoroughly recommend

Really friendly great service with good advice on food choices. Really calm clean atmosphere and feel well looked after. The food is unbelievable very tasty and heathland also. Couldn't recommend enough.

Hemos comido aquí varias veces y nunca hemos estado menos que encantados. La comida siempre es excelente, se sirve en porciones generosas y está hecha de ingredientes realmente frescos para que sepa casera. Algunos platos son bastante sobresalientes. También hay una buena lista de vinos. El servicio es de primera clase y la bienvenida siempre es cálida. Estamos ansiosos por nuestra próxima visita ya!

Really good food. We went forthe chef special for two. Loads of well cooked meats. Very good value for money. Waitress was very attentive.
