Cats are gorgeous and super cute. And the Café really is a nice place for them - lots of space to get away from the people, sleep, observe, hide or play... We had a great time there.

I loved it here! So many gorgeous cats that are so playful and affectionate, with so many places to climb and nap in. The staff were all really friendly, and the food was good, however there was only one vegan bagel option which was quite basic, I had a cat shaped shortbread cookie after which was super tasty + i loved my vegan hot chocolate w cream and marshmallows :) loved the wall of portraits of the cats they have helped re-home it was a lovely touch, definitely recommend !! Cats are fickle things. You might want to pet one but they might not want to be petted right now. Go, rejoice in the novelty and wait. You might just catch a furry snake.

It was a nice place to visit if you like cats. Despite the facility having many cats living in the rooms and dining areas, the place was extremely clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly. The friendliness of the cats.... Well.... They're cats. Some were friendly and playful. Some not so much. We had lunch there. I had a Coke and a bagel sandwich which was decent. We also got a brownie but that was pretty dry. Overall, it's worth a visit for cat fans

My expectations were exceeded. There are lots of rules and safety measures in place to keep the cats safe, healthy and at ease. All of the felines are rescue cats which I think is great. The staff is very nice, the interior is cool and funky and there are many places for the cats to hide/relax if they don't feel like being touched. I was worried about smells but the air was pristine and it wasn't smelly in the slightest. It was great to see this concept done right and I would totally recommend giving this place a visit.

After we’d lost our elderly cat the previous month we thought it would be a good time to tick off something from our bucket list and visit Lady Dinah’s after so many years of wanting to. As it was my fiancée’s birthday I decided to go with the birthday package at a total cost (inc. the birthday package) of £69. We live at the far end of the Met Line in Chesham and didn’t have the quietest journeys in post rush hour😫 As my fiancée has social anxiety the journey didn’t help. We were already a bit down after that 1hr 45 minute journey. The walk from Aldgate through Brick Lane towards the cafe wasn’t the best either so we’re relieved to arrived in time for our 12pm slot. Upon arrival the front shop counter was a bit of a squeeze with some people waiting to enter. After we entered we loved the layout for the cats. Ground level with various climbing trees and wall mounted platforms looked good. Handful of cats in and around this area. Downstairs in the basement was the forest themed room. Plenty of cats down here but unfortunately for us it was also, to us at least, over stuffed with tables for guests. We sat down and after about 10-15mins received our birthday complementaries from a member of staff who was pretty bubbly which was one of the only pluses for us unfortunately. The basement level soon felt overrun with customers who seemed to be more occupied with getting photos of the cats with their phones rather than playing with them. Don’t get us wrong, some of them did. But it felt just really overrun and we only managed to get some fussing of the cats done by the time our time slot was over. For the £69 total we paid it didn’t feel like the complete value for money we were hoping for. Not very sure just yet whether we will revisit in the near future 😔

I had high hopes but felt the whole experience rather lacking. It is a cafe with cats in, we did get the food we ordered. But it felt too busy, our table was tucked away from the cats with another table blocking our access. The food was fine but insubstantial and the "salad" was a few bits of cucumber. The background music was nice and the decor original though everything a bit tired. The leaving system was strange, everyone leaves at the same time at the end of a session so there was a queue in a cramped passageway, to pay on exit.

Myself and a friend visited here on the weekend. It was all round a good experience, the cats were adorable, the atmosphere very relaxed. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. There was a lady who voluntarily gave us some insight into some of the cats, which was interesting. The cats seem very happy and well cared for. The downfall was that it was over priced. You pay an entry fee anywhere from 14-30£ depending on the time of day you attend, plus your food and drinks, plus a service charge. I paid £7 for a very very plain, small, bagel. We did not have afternoon tea but judging from other customers around us it looked like a very small portion. Then, when your ‘time’ is up, you are prompted to leave. I understand that the food, medication and care of the cats costs. I also understand that they are a busy little business. However, I would have expected better quality food considering how much I paid, or, perhaps 1 free hot drink. Just a thought. I would advise anybody that this is a great visit for cat lovers like myself, but not the best choice if you are looking for more of a cafe experience.

This cat cafe easily stands out from its competitors in the city. Nestled near the trendy Brick Lane, this proper cat cafe has more than a dozen cats (including kittens) actively roaming around, providing more than enough enjoyment for everyone. The cats are incredibly friendly and gentle. Although carrying them is not allowed, they happily allow you to pet them, and some are quite affectionate. Spread across two floors with multiple overhead walkways and hiding spots, the cats have plenty of space to explore. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the cats' behaviours and any questions you might have. While the food is simple, it's sufficient. We enjoyed scones, cakes, and tea, and they were great. As most of the cats here are rescues, visiting contributes to the maintenance and upkeep of the shelter. I would highly recommend this place, especially for cat lovers, and I'll certainly be back soon.

The cats are lovely, as is the place - you can see it was created with attention to detail and lots of love. What we found a bit annoying was that one person of the staff kept jumping in the middle of people petting cats, waving around toys that made the cats get up and chase after the toy. The problem about that was that the cats were barely willing to be pet in the first place (understandably, with many people there all day), so if you for once were able to find one that enjoyed it for a moment, it would be gone in a second because the lady would wave the toy in front of it. Thank you anyway, we loved the cats very much, especially Pippin and Oliver!

Had a great time at Lady Dinah's. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice coffee too with plant milk options (oat, soy and coconut). Loads of friendly cats and there were even four new kittens when we went, two girls and two boys. The boys were still wearing their cones of shame after recently being neutered :). It's on the ground floor but most of the action is in the basement which is accessed by quite a steep and narrow staircase so best to check with them before you go if you have mobility issues. The cats do go between floors so you'll still see them if you don't or can't go downstairs.

Staff here are absolutely lovely!! very kind and helpful, they were very welcoming and you can clearly see they love their jobs. the food was also very good I had one of their bagels. However I think the amount of people that are in the cafè at once was too many and lessend the experience you had with cats. I feel like I didn’t get a chance to have much time with cats since there was just too many people in the space at once for the cats to come out and truly be comfortable. I think it was just too noisy and too overwhelming for them for it to be an equally enjoyable experience on both half’s ( cats and customers). I think what the company are doing with re homing the cats it’s great! They cats were lovely and very sweet but i think less amount of people would make the more enjoyable and personal. Thank you lady Dinas :)

The cats come first, which is exactly how it should be - lols! Lovely staff, and a little bit of calm in a busy part of London. 18 cats, and some played, some slept, and some were aloof, but a great excuse to lounge about for an hour or so. The cream tea (jam first) was divine - with a cat-shaped scone! We went midweek during term time, so there were no younger children, which probably improved the experience for us and the cats 😹. I'm definitely going again (once my cats have forgiven me).

The staff are amazing and informative and really the the time to tell you about each cat and you can tell they really care for them here. The cafe itself has a lovely inclusive feel but it's not the most accessible as half the cafe is down some stairs. The cats themselves are gorgeous and very relaxed, often jumping and running around but also loving to be pet and brushed. Would recommend coming around 3-4pm as that's when they're fed so they're a lot more active. Also the scone we got was cat shaped and very cute and surprisingly tasty.

The cats were so uninterested and bored of life. Either wanted to sleep or eat, no interest in play, some didn't even like petting. Doesn't look like they enjoy human interaction. We were told they did play earlier, so maybe try coming in the morning. Of course, we weren't allowed to pick them up, which I think should be allowed at least under staff supervision since many cats do enjoy being picked up or sitting on humans. I recommend to keep the cats during their sleep in a separate area. As you want them to have quiet during their sleep and customers want cats they can interact with.

Came here, was a terrible experience, it’s so dirty inside and had the strongest smell of cat urine that almost burns your nostrils. Whilst I was visiting, I went outside for fresh air, a lady walked past with her small child and the child was waving and blowing kisses to the cats, a worker from inside came out to shout at the mum and child, this child did absolutely nothing wrong, did not say a word and was just waving and smiling at the cats. I went back inside and got my things and left with my friend. I would never ever visit there again, ever. What a disgrace. That would put anyone off of an establishment for life.

I went here 3 months ago but forgot to write a review about it so I’m going to do it now. I went to the UK with my best friend for an internship which was for a week. On our day off we put this cafe as the first place of our list for places we wanted to go to that day. We were absolutely thrilled because cats are just the best and we were hoping to see many of them and playing with them. The cats were absolutely adorable and it just felt like boosts of serotonin every time we interacted with one. We were expecting the cats to be more playful but it’s totally okay that they were just doing their thing as they should, these are living creatures that have feelings too so we should understand if they’re just not feeling that playful around the time we went. Besides the kitties the service was also amazing, the guy who helped us made ur feel really comfortable and he was just very outgoing which was really nice for us. We had ordered 2 hot chocolates and I ordered a cupcake (didn’t eat breakfast 🙉), these were also soooo good I thing about the cupcake all the time. The hot chocolate also had such a cute design of a kitty on it and ugh it was amazing. So in conclusion, GO HERE ‼️‼️‼️

Came here on my first day in London and the staff is super-friendly so I immediately felt very welcome. The cats are all very cute though not every one wants to be pet or interact but you can ask the staff which ones prefer which activity or interaction. They all also let you just sit next to them and enjoy their company. Some others are very active and absolutely loooove to play with you. On top that the food was delicious.

The cutest place in London! It's so relaxing for both the cats and the people - so many cats to see with all different temperaments, so there's always one to play with while others sleep!

Thank you very much and Greetings from Germany!

I simply loved my visit here. It’s clear to see how well the cats are loved and looked after. Food: small menu, delicious food (I had a bagel and a scone). Will definitely be revisiting.

It's unfair to give two stars, but I'm not a cat lover. It was definitely an experience, I'll remember, but personally not worth the value.

I was so excited to book this experience for my mum and I, was expecting a little bit more for the money. Positives: Firstly, The staff here are so lovely and attentive, they also knew each cat by name and nature and had a lot of knowledge on every kitty there. We had the ‘Happy Meower’ package, where we ordered two of the Meowgarita mocktials and some bar snacks (lovely drinks and nibbles which came in cat shaped bowls and the drinks had fruit cat ears, which was a nice touch). Negatives: we were sat upstairs, and despite some Alice in wonderland elements, it didn’t feel like an immersive setting. We had the chance to explore the lower level, which definitely met my expectations, it’s a shame that the theme wasn’t fully executed throughout. The cats were adorable, however majority of them were sleeping or tucked away in areas which made it near-impossible to even view them. A lot of the seating felt quite cramped together too, which made my mum and I feel boxed in. For the price of £24 each, I think that we were expecting a little bit more from this experience. We both agreed that it would have been better to have gotten the standard 1hr ticket (around £13) to see the cats and all of their cuteness instead. We are both still glad that we visited and that the money will be going towards looking after the kitties 🤍🐱

Went to Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium on August 24th. We had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with all the kitties. The staff were absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend anyone who loves kitties to go and have Cream Tea and a fun experience!! Thanks so much to the staff. They were all very friendly and it is evident that they all love the kitties!! We will definitely visit again when we are in London.

We've visited quite a few cat cafes in the past, it's in fact a regular thing with my cat obsessed step daughter and every city we visit we look for a cat cafe and visit it if they have one! Out of the ones we've been to, this one has become a favourite! The staff were so friendly and took the time to explain the rules to us. Something which no other cat cafe has done which I really loved was as we were being taken to our seats we were told the names of the cats as we were passing them and told a bit of their personality or age - definitely helped to know who was who when we spotted them again during our stay and proved how much the staff care about the cats! We were seated downstairs where it really is a cats dream with lots of places for them to play or hide away if they want to. All the cats were beautiful and the staff were brilliant at telling us all about them without being too over bearing in their presence - quite a skill which sometimes in these environments can be understandably difficult to get right! We booked the cream tea and the scones were very tasty and warm and we really loved our 90 minutes here! It's about 15 minutes from the nearest tube station so easy to access and we will definitely be back in the future 🙂

We had a great morning at the cafe, the cats were friendly and playful, were happy to interact, and the staff were great and attentive. The cats do have places to hide away, and you are asked to leave them alone if they are sleeping or grooming so that they are not disturbed. There are 20 cats there, so there are plenty to play with. A great place to spend some time

I was a bit sceptical before I went to the cafe, wondering if the cats might really feel comfortable in a touristy environment.  But I was pleasantly surprised about the whole concept. The environment, though mostly artificial, is really cat friendly and there are lots of places for the cats to withdraw to if they need a timeout of playing and being cuddled. The carers are very friendly, but at the same way determined if the guests do something the cats don't seem to enjoy. They also never got tired of answering questions and it was interesting to learn about the stories and characteristics of the different feline inhabitants. The stars of the cafe - the cats - all seemed very well-kept. There were playful cats, cuddly cats, more quiet ones and some liked to keep their distance, which is absolutely OK. Yes, you have to pay an entrance fee - but what do people expect?! It is a CAT cafe, so in addition to the regular business costs there are pets to care and pay for! This should be the main focus for guests, as it definitely is for the staff. Here in Germany, animal shelters don't know how to cope with the masses of abandonned or stray cats, and I guess it is similar in England. So - in my eyes this is an innovative and good way to raise money AND awareness, and maybe even find a forever home for some of the pawesome cuties! Two more remarks at the end: Food and drink was yummy, and I totally fell in love with Irie! ❤😊

Daraufhin hatten wir 3 verschiedene Fish and Chips.
